The sushi here is absolutely amazing and so fresh and flavorful. I have had many sushi in many places and this place takes the cake! The service staff were so attentive and quick with getting us what we needed. The presentation, the flavor and the atmosphere were so wonderful- I can’t wait to go back. We ordered so much from the menu, and definitely got our money’s worth. Our must have favs are the Ka-Prow Rainbow Roll, classic spicy tuna roll and my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE the longhorn roll! Everything here is fresh, juicy (dumplings) and the sauces paired with the sushi have so much freshness and flavorful in every bite. The scenery has dim lighting but also another section where they gave plenty of natural lighting (suitable for people who prefer dark or light) and the ambiance was so peaceful. Perfect for dates, work lunches, family dinners and celebrations!

Got their regular Pad Thai with chicken to go. I like that you can choose the spice level. I tried spicy 1 and it was still spicy, so next time I’ll try 0.5. I also had their sticky rice with mango, which I loved.

I have lived in Austin for 13 years and I thought I’d never find a great Thai restaurant. Boy, was I wrong. This place is by far not only the BEST Thai restaurant in Austin but it is one of the MUST HAVES, when in Austin. DO NOT let the location sway you. The staff is beyond top tier and I don’t know who the chef is but they are easily, unmatched. Beyond amazing quality of food, taste, service, and atmosphere. Can not recommend highly enough!! 20 out of 10!

Hubby and I dined at KaProw Thai & Sushi Bistro and everything was delicious! 💕 We started with the spicy bacon-wrapped scallops — so flavorful with just the right heat. The Ka Prow pork fried rice was savory and comforting, while the salmon curry was rich and creamy, served with steamed white rice and a fresh green salad. And of course, a Thai iced tea to round it all out — sweet and refreshing. Such a cozy date night spot with amazing flavors we’ll definitely come back for.

Ka-Prow is a triumph of flavor! Everything was delicious, with food that is expertly prepared and perfectly seasoned. The vegan options were plentiful and exciting, making it a great spot for everyone. Best of all, the spice was just right—a beautiful, balanced heat that enhances every dish. Highly recommended!

Lots of vegan options which is much appreciated! The pad kee mao is a favorite - nice and spicy when requested. Love that you can make so many dishes vegan. Staff is always nice and you can go casual or nicer to this establishment, all are welcome here.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday and sure glad we did! Service was great and they are very accommodating for anyone with food allergies. We decided to go with the street food since it's only offered Thursday-Saturday Order chicken satay moo ping pad ka-prow I'd start the pad ka-prow, bench the moo ping, and cut the satay. The moo ping is close to being a starter for me as it was very delicious! Prices are fair and plenty of parking. Will be back for more street food!

My family and I really enjoyed our meal here. My mom loved it so much she went back the next night. It's a small, family owned restaurant, the owner makes the sushi himself! The food was very good! Served hot and in large portions so it was great to share. The service was minimal but great. Didn't bother us and was very nice. Overall I very much liked my time here.

Ordered take out, steamed dumplings and yellow curry with chicken. Idk why this rubbed me the wrong way but charging 68 cents for packaging seemed like Nickle and diming your customer for normal business costs. Would you charge that if I order in and get something to go? I have ordered a lot of food takeout in my travels and have never encountered this. Typically Thai food is lower costs and this place was already above average to what I've seen, so is it not priced in? The steamed dumplings were really good and the sauce was delightful. I really enjoyed this app and would order again. The yellow curry was a miss. The potato and carrots were slightly raw, which I didn't mind that much but had a crunch. The onions were not cooked leaving that bitter onion bite. The chicken was so dry and flavorless, I just skipped eating any of it. Thankfully portion size was large so I'm still full. Overall, don't want to hate on a small business, but pretty average experience. The dumplings and sauce, really tasty!

We really enjoyed Ka-Prow. We were here on ordered hot green tea and Soft Spring Rolls with Shrimp to start. The tea cam right away and was brewed and ready to serve. They even came by without asking with replacement tea. The appetizer, Soft Spring Rolls with Shrimp and Peanut Sauce on the side came out not long thereafter. The rolls were excellent (3 to an order). Not long later, our dinners came out. I ordered the the Pad Kee Mao with Chicken and my wife ordered the Pad Thai with Tofu. Both meals were of decent size and tasted really good. We planned to stop for ice cream afterwards, so we ate half our meals and took the rest back to the hotel and had them for breakfast the next day. Still tasty :) We'd come back to Ka-Prow.

I picked up to go. Ive only had them one time. Service was great, the guy who took my order was very nice and helpful with my questions about allergy ingredients. I had the shrimp salad rolls. They were the typical, nothing special. The peanut sauce was decent. I also ordered Tom yum. Not the worse but definitely not my favorite. Lacking flavor. Needs more soy flavor and fish sauce in my opinion, and kind of then compared to what I'm used to. The white rice was also a little overcooked. Ill go back and try other items if im in the area.

Great service and delicious food. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure food preferences and food allergies are taken into consideration. I had the KaProw Street Food with beef. It was a large portion and very tasty.

Love this place! They have tons of vegetarian options and my favorite- vegetarian egg drop soup! The service is friendly and welcoming and the food came out quick and hot. The restaurant has dim lighting and a mellow feel creating the perfect environment for a relaxing, delicious meal.

Hidden gem! We placed an order for pick up but once we got there, we wished we dined in. The inside is so cute and cozy. Casual atmosphere! The hostess was friendly and offered us water and fortune cookies while we waited for our order to be finished. I highly recommend the pad Thai but be careful, the spice level is no joke! I ordered a level 3 and it was hot! The miso soup was amazing. Not too salty! We really enjoyed the yellow curry dish too - we did a level 2 on that and it wasn't too bad. The only item that we didn't love was the general Tso's chicken but we weren't expecting too much with that one. Will absolutely be going back!

I have two sides to my review. The quality was delicious, but they were the smallest sushi pieces I've ever ate. By comparison, it was the size of half a Cheeto puff or 7-9 stacked nickels or half the size of the average human thumb. I enjoyed the flavors and was disappointed with the size. I ordered three sushi rolls and it wasn't near enough. What made it worse, I was thinking three rolls would allow me to share with coworkers. I actually just sat down for part 2 of my lunch and grabbed a burger from down the street.

Had lunch with a friend yesterday. He is a big fan of KaProw. It was my first time. We both ordered the Massamun currry with chicken lunch special which includes soup or salad and a beverage. We both opted for the salad which arrived warm, which is a major pet peeve of mine. The Massamun curry over rice was decent although I prefer the way Thai Spoon in Round Rock serves curry dishes. Altogether a bit of a disappointment for me.

Wow what a great experience. If you have sensitivities or allergies, but love ethnic food, this place is perfect. The staff was soooo accommodating to allergies (gluten and nightshades) and customized several dishes to give us a wonderful lunch. Is definitely a go to when visiting Austin.

This restaurant has been around 20 years. That's an indicator that they must be doing things right. Dinner there proved that to be true. The restaurant is very cozy. Service was very friendly and the food came out fast! We had Pad Thai with chicken, shrimp spring rolls and chicken satay. All were delicious and portions were very generous. We moved here from Houston and were looking for a good Thai restaurant. We found it!

Don't have any pics to share but I often visit this restaurant since it's close to where I live an the food is delicious! Great variety of options on the menu. Food is always fresh and packed full of flavor. They have sushi rolls, curry and plenty of other items...sometimes I go there just for the Tom Kha or Tom Yum soup.

We visit Kaprow as it is nearby and we know what to expect- super fast service, reasonably priced authentic Thai dishes at decent quality. More than the food I really like their fast and friendly service. I liked the summer rolls/spring rolls (veggie) as well as the Thai Fried Rice. Ka-prow with Tofu was a bit too salty but not too shabby. Overall a good Thai restaurant with top notch service. Will definitely keep visiting whenever in town to see my family. Keep up the good work guys!

It had been years since I went to Ka-Prow. I had high expectations based on memory and they did not disappoint. The food was fabulous and the server (wish I could remember his name) was outstanding.

Some of the best Thai I've ever had anywhere! The restaurant is very beautiful and features local art. It's a nice family spot that pours their heart into their food. Their chef specials are incredible and bold. I would definitely recommend trying something outside of your usual when you come here. Also, the sushi is amazing! The service is fast and super friendly. Great place for a date night or meeting. 10/10

The service is friendly a fast! The food is so tasty, I have had the the eggplant curry and the red curry so good, the egg drop spud and miso is delicious, and so is the fried rice 10/10 each time. The quantity is also a good amount.

Pretty decent Thai food in Pflugerville. Not a lot of people around 6pm. The hostess gave me a warm welcome and seated me quickly. The waiter got my water and patiently waited as I was waiting for my friends to arrive. The online menu was slightly difficult to navigate but the waiter took the order pretty quickly. The summer rolls were pretty good, the rice wrapper had a good texture, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The 'pad ka-prow street food' was stir-fried well, not over or under-cooked, and you can taste the fish sauce. Pricing and portion size was good!

I'm Thai and very critical of how Thai dishes should be made. I don't live in Texas, but I can tell you that the Pad Ka-Prow chicken Thai spicy level hot with a fried egg on top reminded me of my childhood in Thailand. I visit Austin, TX monthly and will make sure to keep coming back to this place.

The ka prow chicken dish gave me salmonella poisoning and i was sick for 2 days. It didn't even taste like real authentic ka prow

I stop by because of all the good reviews and I have to admit this was purely hype I will explain below. Food: The panang beef had a very weird flavor. I'm not sure if it was honey or something sweet but it was nothing like I have ever tasted before. I didn't even taste any peanut butter. So I'm not sure if this is a true Thai spot or maybe some sort of Asian fusion because their pad Thai look totally different than I was normal to seeing at a Thai restaurant. I probably would've been better off with the pad Thai though to be honest. The beef was not good at all. As I write this review I should probably take it down to a two star but the customer service was top notch so I'll leave it at three stars. Maybe I caught him on an off day, maybe I ordered the wrong food, but the beef this order was not good at all. The beef was kind of rubbery and not very tasty or season whatsoever. They also put a ton of green beans in there panang beef. However the hot and sour soup was really good. That was probably the best thing I had off the menu. I would give that before five stars. Just my main dish was very lackluster to say the least. The service was great, the lady working there was very friendly and got me in and out in a very quick manner. Maybe I tried the wrong thing off their menu. I don't think I will be back though to be honest

Ordered curbside pickup from here a few times over the last few months. The service over the phone is really good and I like how they take the time to clarify the orders and make sure there are no food allergies. The pricing is also good - one order usually lasts me two meals. As for the food - I have not been too impressed hence the 3 stars. Something was burnt in the Pad Kee Mao which ruined the dish. If it was done properly, i would have rated it high as the flavor was there. Pad Ka-Prow was pretty bland and disappointing with chewy rubbery beef. The Pad Ped was spicy and flavorful. I was expecting it to be something different based on the pics I saw on Yelp so was disappointed in that regard. Either they changed the dish or it was labeled incorrectly by the user. Nevertheless it was a good dish. The red curry at spice level 2 out of 5 was crazy spicy and we eat a lot of spicy foods. Felt more like level 4 spice level. Not sure if it was supposed to be this spicy or if they messed up. The sushi's were okay. It's hard to gauge though since we consumed these at home almost an hour after preparation. Overall, it's a mixed bag. There's already a few thai restaurants we frequent which I find to have tastier food but this location is super convenient for me, especially with curbside pickup. Pricing is not too bad for the quantity and service is friendly so I'll probably continue to order different items from here and hope to find some that's really tasty.

I was really craving some pad thai and my boyfriend wanted sushi so we figured this place was THE place to go! The pad thai with a 0.5 spicy level was super yummy and I would definitely recommend it if you are coming here! We ordered the alaskan sushi roll and it was extremely mediocre and smelled/tasted like bananas(?) for some reason :( I also got the mango sticky rice and maybe mangos are not in season anymore but it didn't taste very good. the staff is really friendly though and greeted me as soon as I walked up to grab my to go order!

This was definitely my go to when I lived in the area. It is consistently yummy, big portions, lots of vegetarian options and great system for pickup during these times known as a global pandemic. My fav dishes by far are the pad woonsen (bean thread noodles) with tofu and the pad se ew (flat rice noodles) with tofu. A for the spice level, I believe it's like 1-5 or 1-10? As a latina gal who loves her spice, I embarrassingly admit the level 2 spice is all I can handle. So beware!

I love this place! Both their sushi menu and regular menu have lots of options and everything ive tried is delicious. They take a lot of care when it comes to dietary restrictions/food allergies. I have celiac disease and am impressed with how many items they have on their gluten free menus. Gf soy sauce is served with no extra charge!

Delivery was fast and everything was packaged carefully and neatly. Hot food and sushi together were in my order and both were at the right temperature. Tried a variety of sushi and it was all excellent - very fresh-tasting and creative rolls. Love all the veg options, and was impressed with the pad kee mao. The tofu is definitely the best I've ever had - full stop. Really delicious! Will be back.

I'll start by saying the service was so so good. The staff was overly friendly and accommodating. They get 5 stars all the way. I did not really enjoy most of the food. It was just a different style of Thai than I'm used to. Most things were on the sweeter side versus spicy/tangy. We ordered the papaya salad (sweetish), the edamame with Tom yum sauce, the veggie spring rolls, the Tom khan soup, and a fried fish stir fry. I'd give the food a solid B but the service an A+.

We have a winner! They serve up the best pad Thai I've had in Austin (and I think I've tried like 20)! It isn't too "eggy" or too "dry" or too sweet or too saucy - it tastes like it's made with so much care and attention paid to the recipe. It's a generous portion and made for two meals for me. The steamed tofu swap worked out well for me. They were happy to add extra peanuts when I asked. I was also impressed with their focus and priority on Covid-safety. They place the bag on a table outside when you arrive, so you're not really interacting with anyone. The packaging was also solid - nothing leaked on the way (a new pet peeve). It's worth mentioning that they think about us vegetarian and gluten-free folks with clear labeling on the menu.

I visited Ka-Prow Thai for dinner one recent, rainy evening. I ordered the Som Tum (Papaya salad) and the Drunken noodles with chicken. Both were solid menu items - the Som Tum had nice heat. I could've gone for some more heat on the Drunken noodles. It also tasted like they went a tad heavier on the soy sauce in this dish. Service was good - I would try this place again. #KaProwThaiandSushiBistro

The chicken pad thai and the avocado appetizer was is delicious. Take out was on time and very warm.

This food is pretty good, it's not anything special in my opinion but it's not bad. I'd recommend it id you're not really picky and just want to grab a bite to eat.

This is authentic Thai food! I lived in Thailand 1 year and this is where I go to get my Thai food! I like fried rice with veggies, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. If you like food spicier ask for it to be made "Thai Spicy". The cook is very nice.....ask to talk to him and give him your compliments! The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean and a nice place to take a date or meet a client too. Keep local business going and visit often!

This spot is my FAVORITE neighborhood Thai spot! It's a gem, I should not even be telling anyone this because I love how quiet and quaint it is. I eat lunch here a few times a week. The specials can't be beaten in todays world either. The food is and the staff is so sweet, I love them.

Third stop on my quest for the best Pad Thai in Austin and we're getting closer guys! I online ordered chicken Pad Thai (spicy level 2) and spring rolls. Spring rolls: 5/5; Shrimp spring rolls, 3 for $6 felt reasonable and although a little on the small side, they were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The peanut dipping sauce was also excellent! Pad Thai: 4/5; PROS: First off, 1) the noodles were wrapped with care in aluminum foil and the uncooked bean sprouts and lime wedge were placed outside the foil in the box. Loved this attention to detail. 2) The portion size was very generous and there was an acceptable amount of chicken and egg (online ordering allowed a lot of customization, from adding extra egg, extra meat, and extra sauce). I kind of expect a bit more egg in the standard order, but I'm being very picky. 3) The flavor was exactly what I'm looking for. A nice amount of sweetness, a depth of flavor, and an umph that makes it hard to put your fork down. 4) All the extra elements were there: cooked beansprouts mixed in, green onions, and toasted peanuts. 5) Spicy level 2 was actually decently spicy! This is the amount of heat I expect from an authentic Thai restaurant, so I was really happy to feel that heat (even if I was a little over ambitious with my own tolerance level). CONS: The Achilles heel was the noodles. I'm not sure if they just overcooked the noodles or if they used the wrong type of noodle, but the texture was all wrong. The noodles didn't have a lot of integrity and kind of broke up into chopped up segments as I tried to pick them up with my chopsticks. It almost tasted like a wheat/pasta noodle instead of a rice noodle. They have a thickness and color to them, rather than the normal thin, translucent look of other pad Thai noodles. Overall, was very pleased with my order and will more than likely return to give them another shot!

I had avoided this place because one of the other restaurants in the same plaza was such trash that I assumed all of them were bad. I wish I had tried them sooner! But I'll be making up for lost time! Don't let the sketchy look of the plaza deter you! It reminded me of places in inner Los Angeles where if you judge a book by its cover, you miss out on some of the best food in the city. Super nice people and omg! I'm not a huge fan of super spicy, but the spicy stuff I had here was also so flavorful that it was worth it! I can't wait to go back and try more tasty stuff - especially the pineapple fried rice. My last Thai place stopped serving this and I was so lost without it!

The food and waitstaff are always great. I love the variety available such that I can order my favorite Thai treats (Pad See Ew and green curry) and my son can enjoy some sushi. Just beware of what spice level you pick- they aren't joking! Level 2 is spicy and delicious but level three knocks my socks off!

Lots of gluten free options and all the food was delicious. Service was excellent too.

Pros: Eggs rolls were good Cons: For some reason the platter in which the philly roll came in was SOAKED in oil at the bottom. The salmon itself was also bathed in oil. Excuse the hair which I found in my roll. I had never had such a horrible experience with a philly roll. The pad thia wasn't even close to mediocre. The chicken tasted old and unseasoned. It was also extremely dry and just bland. When I called to let management know about the hair in my roll. The person who answered the phone was very skeptical and made me feel like I was lying. As you can see in the picture the hair is wedged in between the salmon and attached to the seaweed. We ended up throwing away $50 worth of food.

I brought my daughter here on a Tuesday night for sushi. She had the shrimp tempura and snake eyes rolls. We shared the fried rice (definitely big enough for two people) and the Coconut shrimp. Not only was everything cooked perfectly and delicious, it came out quickly and was hot and fresh. The staff were wonderfully sweet and efficient as well, our server Janica was great! We will definitely be returning.

Service is attentive. And the food is so fresh!! I love this place. The wine list is not robust but perfect choices that go with the food options. Our meal was delicious!!
