We enjoyed the Garden-to-Table High Tea at Kaarla by 1-Arden, paired with a stunning city view and a lovely garden-inspired concept. We chose the Karigane Hojicha with Mint and Lemon Myrtle and the Milky Oolong with Marigold, both beautifully fragrant and soothing, easily the highlights of the afternoon. The savouries were creative and refreshing. The Compressed Watermelon with yuzu and crispy strawberry offered a playful burst of flavour, while the Edamame Hummus Tart was light and nutty with hints of coriander and marigold. The Spicy Tuna Maki Roll and Shrimp Tempura Maki Roll were fresh and well-balanced, though not particularly distinctive. On the sweet side, the Hana Mochi Yuzu was delightful with its floral marigold notes and red bean paste. The Mini Pavlova stood out for its lemon myrtle jelly and crisp texture. The Basque Cheesecake was creamy but mild, the Mini Golden Lamington nicely layered yet slightly sweet, and the Lemon Aspen Tart provided a pleasant citrus finish. Overall, each bite was thoughtfully made and visually appealing, tasty but not extraordinary. It’s a lovely spot for a relaxing afternoon and a sensory garden experience, especially if you love tea.

We were disappointed with service. There were 3 part-time staff who seemed completely untrained, and maybe 2 full-time staff only took orders and served one dish. Everything else — clearing plates, refilling water, serving the rest of the food — fell on the part-timers. Handling heavy plates and knives without proper care made the evening stressful rather than enjoyable *Scary!* serve from wrong direction and wasn’t using a tray to collect dirty plates!! We brought cake, but when we asked for it to be served, there was no knife or plate, and we had to ask for forks ourselves 🫠 ~For the prices charged, the service clearly needs serious improvement and proper staff training. The restaurant wasn’t even full — about 70–80% on a weekend — so there’s no excuse for this level of service for this place I’m looking forward to suggest for business lunch/dinner 🙊 On the bright side, a few dishes were good: 👍🏻 the wood roasted pumpkin, the Spiced edamame hummus dip & Parker Brioche. But the Roasted Tiger prawn ($22), Murray cod ($52), we didn’t like Smoked Kangaroo ($26) maybe 🤔 the meat isn’t our liking and grilled vegetables were overpriced, not fresh, and not worth trying. Overall, disappointing experience due to poor service, despite a few good dishes. ~Hopefully management invests in proper training because the potential is there. If there is good lunch promotion maybe 🤔 can consider if not wasted the work by kitchen team!

The food wasn't really to our expectations and the portion sizes are tad small for the price. The service and ambiance is great though. Celebrated our anniversary at this location for the vibes but we left having to snack on Mcds afterwords. This is also after each of us getting a main + starter.

Came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Overall, was a nice experience. I came here for the ambience/vibes and the food Although I requested for a window seat but priority was given to those who opted for the national day set. But we still got a quieter seat away from the crowd (the bar area) and was still able to see the fireworks from our table. Food was great, especially the pork loin. Although it took quite long to serve due to a busy crowd. Other worthy mention was the wood fire scallops although would have preferred this hot rather than warm. Yakitori (warm), crab crumpet (cold/room temp) and mocktail was alright only. Not sure if crab crumpet was meant to be room temp. Anyway, they also served a complimentary cake for my wife as well. Ambience was nice and cosy, love the 3 color lamp (I ended up ordering it from online ecommerce platform) and presentation of food was acceptable. The garden was a bonus, we went after dinner. We took a stroll after dinner and there are various spots you could actually get to see the skyline view from the garden too and I manage to take some photos. I would come back again, hopefully I can get the window seats next time round and would give another chance to try other food.

Celebrated our anniversary there. Ordered the ‘Flame and Farm’ Communal set. We were served with only 1 Parker Brioche to share. The first serving shocked us that we had to share a bun. However, the rest of the items surprised us with its delightful taste, especially the pork rack which was extremely tender. Was recommended to Golden Lamington but the rum mousse was overpowered by the sourness. A disappointing dessert.

Came to Kaarla for the Hi Tea. It was located at 51 Floors and used ingredients from it garden. The service was great and the staff was friendly. The food for the hi tea was fantastic and delicious. Most importantly, the view from the restaurant was exceptional great and marvellous. Will come again.

Went here for dinner. The location is absolutely stunning with the Garden and views over Singapore. Food was delicious, with Kangaroo being a bit of an acquired taste. Staff was excellent, especially Gifford!

1st time visiting this place. It’s located at roof top with a nice view. Food is generally nice, but I find the portion is small, and it’s a bit pricy (I guess we have to pay for the views as well). A small piece of cod fish (as main) cost $52, which I find it over priced and doesn’t taste that great. I would not recommend the Cod for that price. Having said all these, if you want a place to chill with a good view, you could explore this place.
