I was recently taken to a birthday dinner by my lovely friends as planned at Sol & Luna, CapitaSpring but unfortunately our prepaid reservation could not be found upon arrival due to a booking platform issue. It was a stressful start to what was supposedly be a special evening that took some time to clarify.
That said, the restaurant manager, Keisha, handled the situation professionally with genuine care and promptly arranged a thoughtful service recovery at their sister restaurant, Kaarla, within the same building. The team truly turned the evening around — we were treated to champagne, additional dishes, and a beautifully presented surprise birthday cake. The front-of-house staff were warm, attentive, and made the celebration feel extra special despite the initial hiccup.
While the reservation issue was disappointing, the way it was resolved — especially by Keisha with her sincerity — left a very positive impression. Excellent recovery with heartfelt hospitality and the food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be coming back for more.
