Their wide selection of local cheeses is divided into white, red, hard, and blue types for a la carte sampling or as chef’s choice boards. Sprawl out on the terrace for prime people-watching or sit at the counter and choose off a conveyor belt. Cheeses were mostly good - we were pleasantly surprised to find they only feature Dutch cheeses, many of which we'd never tried. Some of the pairings were great, but unfortunately some were pretty bland. It was a tasty late lunch, but I probably will explore another restaurant the next time I'm in Amsterdam.

Great idea with the cheese train And the cheeses were delicious. But we ended up waiting Almost 40 minutes to get the wines. Service was very slow and it is in the higher end of the price. But as said the cheeses were great. Truffle Brie is worth trying, it was amazing✨

Kaasbar was my favourite place in Amsterdam. Never before have I seen a cheese train like this, and it's done to perfection. Amazing menu and selection of cheese choices that you can then pair well with a number of delicious wines, sit at the bar for the first experience here to enjoy taking from the cheese train to the fullest extent. The cheese and winte itself was incredible. This experience was divine. A lovely cosy catch up with a friend and attentive staff, comfy chairs, and a well designed restaurant overall. Perfect noise level as well for seamless communication. Anytime I am back in Amsterdam I will be back and definitely recommending to others. Loved it, thank you so much team!

If you’re not a cheese lover this place will convert you! And it’s not just a gimmick concept it really works well! I’m not a massive cheese lover but the cheeses on offer allowed me to build myself up to some more daring blues and stronger cheeses. Take note of the menu as it is spot on with accuracy with descriptions and strengths. I am now a convert to blue cheeses which previously I just never would have tried. Wine selection also great. Do note that crackers are chargeable which given the offer I think should be complimentary. Only downside was that the service wasn’t great had to keep looking for staff to order and on first being seated it took a while for someone to come over. Atmosphere was great with friends but not sure the time of day we went would be great if you were just a couple as it was a little quiet. If you’re a couple I would recommend a late afternoon/evening visit.

They might not have a crystal ball, but they sure know how to make your cheesy dreams come true with their magical conveyor belt of dairy delights. The waitstaff here are like cheese whisperers, guiding you through an extensive fondue and cheese menu that could make a grown man weep with joy. Go for the combination plate of five or seven cheeses, and their chef will curate an assortment so divine it might make you believe in miracles. If you’re in the mood for a fondue feast, make a reservation. But if you’re the spontaneous type, don’t worry—just stroll in, and they’ll still treat you like royalty. The Dutch cheeses are so good you'll be moo-ing for more, whether you’re into mild or wild, goat or blue. The truffle fondue? It’s a showstopper. And the cheese platter is so decadent, it might just induce a tear or two. This place takes cheese seriously—so seriously that I’ve never consumed so much dairy in one sitting in my life. Pair all this cheesy goodness with their thoughtfully selected wines, fresh bread, salami, and fruit, and you’ve got a dining experience so cheesy delightful, even your taste buds will be saying “Holy Cow!”

The place is really cool, if you love cheese this is your spot! Sitting at the bar you have chance to see the cheese belt, there are 30 different types of cheese you can choose from, the pairing with the drinks is also great. Too bad the service is so disappointing, our waiter was obviously not happy to work there, he was very uninterested and made himself busy doing whatever else but look at the tables. We were going to have a second round of cheese and drinks but when we asked for salt crackers to begin the next round with, he took ages to bring them so we decided to pay and leave. Although it seems they have enough staff working they are all running and sweating around, nobody takes your order, so I am guessing it isn’t enough for the volume of people they get every night.

Fantastic concept, top notch food, great alternative for a summer evening meetup. We enjoyed the breeze and the food in the outside table. For inside, keep in mind that this place serves cheese so embrace for the smell. There is a room to increase the speed of the service. Overall great unique experience. Strongly recommended!

Amazing experience with well curated cheese menu and explanations. Best thing is that wine or beer pairings are given and the wine menu is equally extensive and very good! Very nice and cosy atmosphere for dinner, stunned by this place 🧀 A real cheese lovers heaven
