I sat here and ordered my food and ate here in the entire time nobody came in. I was maybe here for like 30 minutes and I’m very surprised that this place is not crowded. The food is delicious. My chicken was nice and hot flavored really well came off of the grill. The rice was cooked perfectly. I am very glad that I decided to stop by today and try this place out. It’s definitely gonna be one of my go to spots now.

The beef and chicken were both juicy and flavorful, though the portion size could be a little bigger. Each plate comes with hummus and warm pita bread, which pair nicely with the grilled meats. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience feel extra inviting. You can tell they care about both the food and the customers. They are proud of homemade baklava. It’s crunchy, nutty, and just the right amount of sweet — the perfect way to end your meal and give you that little sugar high.

I attended an event in RCC college yesterday and the food from kabab el basha was absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The team was professional and the service was excellent. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for delicious food and great hospitality!

This is my husband's and my 2nd time here and both times have been wonderful! The owner is the sweetest and made us feel so welcome the moment we walked in the door. The food....omgahhhh! Absolutely delicious wowww! I highly recommend this place and look forward to future visits! We are extremely happy customers! Can't wait for the next visit🥳👏🏻😃

I love this place. I am a repeat customer. This is my new spot. The people are so friendly and the food is so fresh and delicious and it’s not overpriced. I would recommend this to everybody and I will be going back again.

We stopped here for a takeout lunch. We ordered 2 appetizers, a falafel sandwich combo, and a gyros plate. The grape leaves were okay. Felt very soggy and reheated. The falafel appetizer also seems to be reheated. Like they were from a package. As my wife will be eating her sandwich later, I can't review that right now ;-) My gyros plate. Well, as much as I want to give a 5 star review. I just can't. The gyros was tasty, but it was from a package. It is very close to what I get at Walmart. It was still tasty but cooked from frozen. The yellow rice was good. And I enjoyed it. Overall, 3 stars for the food. The staff was very patient with us as we were trying to decide what to order. The restaurant itself was very clean and roomy. They seemed to have a lot of seating. But it did not make it look or feel crowded. A 5 star for the staff and the restaurant atmosphere. Even though I was disappointed with the food quality. We will be back there to try new items!

We were fasting and it was rainy and we were trying to look for a Halal restaurant and we saw this one and when we tried it, the food was very, very delicious. We love the hospitality of the owner. The staff are friendly. The restaurant is clean. we are new and this place And we loved everything they offered definitely. I recommend it for family friends students and we will definitely come back😎

You cannot beat the flavor of their food. I have tried all the Mediterranean food around Corona, but none compare. This one beats the competition in the area.

Really disappointed. Ordered the picked veggies which was supposed to be cucumber, turnips and carrots. I got pickles and olives. Also paid 2.50 each for a side of tzatziki and garlic sauce. I received the little containers that should be .50-.75.

Way too much chicken in the wrap, not enough correct proportions/ratios in the wrap. Chicken was tender but just could've been better

Recently moved to the Corona area and this place is one of my new favorites. Very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I had the lamb chops my last time there and I would highly recommend them.

Nice quiet joint it was clean, service was good and food was on point!!!! No beer is served here, one stall restroom. Self serve soft drinks. The music had me moving. Yummy yummy yummy

My first order here was disappointing for the price. I ordered the shawarma combo that cost me $25. The food i got was worth $13. If you just had bariatric surgery like me, don't attempt to eat the proteins here. It made me want to gag.

Overall, service was great but the food is okay in my opinion. It was a little on the pricey side too. I got the beef shawarma and Greek salad to go. I enjoyed the Greek salad. The beef was decent but nothing special - it was a bit dry. It came with pita bread on the side which might have been old cause it was hard. Don't think I would go out of my way to come here.

Great flavors and clean restaurant. Fresh piping hot pita and would recommend their kebabs the most out of all the proteins. Garlic sauce and hummus were super delicious. Price was a bit on the higher end -- $19-25 per plate.

As others have discovered without my putting in my 2 cents, Corona has a lovely little, mom and pop Mediterranean (Egyptian) restaurant in our mid-town! The last time we were here was not quite a year ago. They had recently moved to this location from neighboring Riverside. I recall their menu was abbreviated, which I cannot say today; it is quite impressive for such a small storefront. I failed to Yelp it at that time, so now I need to make up for a lost opportunity. We started with a couple of appetizers. The one that caught my eye was a spinach filled pie. Not really a pie (their name, not mine), it is a 4-bite, soft, baked dough shaped into a triangle with a very authentic tasting, tangy spinach filling. They are served warm. Loved it! Being big falafel fans, but extremely picky, we had to try some of their's. We have been unable to find a good one locally. The very thoughtful owner delivered 2 to our table, compliments of the house. Thank you so much! Their falafel is a blend of ground Fava beans, mediterranean spices, and sesame seeds . The crispy brown exterior hides a very tender, green interior, and they are delicious. Now that I know, I will order these without hesitation. Lunch time is a great time to go. There are 6 plates offered on their Lunch Special list that are all currently (May 2023) priced at $10.99. In addition to your choice of entree, it includes a cucumber, parsley, tomato, dill, and onion chopped salad, rice, and warm pita bread. Smaller servings, but still filling, this deal is a great opportunity to taste some of their more recognizable Mediterranean items. I chose the Gyros Lunch - 3 healthy slices of a beef/lamb mix, deliciously seasoned with spices, with a smear of tztaziki on a fresh pita. The gyro meat was wonderful, the pita soft and delicious. They also included a small paper cup of homemade tzatziki, a rich Greek yogurt and dill spread, two slices of pickle, and a big mound of yellow rice. The yellow rice is a lightly seasoned basmati. There is something deliciously subtle lurking in their recipe; might it be clove spice and turmeric I taste? Whatever, the rice was yummy. We also got to taste the hummus. The hummus is creamy and fresh, obviously house made, and is one of the better ones I have tasted. It arrived in a small cup with a good olive oil drizzle and sumac. After tasting this, I would consider one of their dishes that features the hummus with a chopped beef topping, a meal in itself. The Lamb Kabob (not on the Lunch Specials) came with 5 large cubes of meat. The platter includes salad, rice, and pita. I was not in love with the cut of meat they used, a little too lean and chewy, but Mr. B, the guy who always orders lamb, said he would get it again. All in all, it was a very pleasing meal. The seasonings in their food tasted exactly the way I love, the owner and wife were very kind, and the interior was sparkling clean and friendly. And living nearby is a real plus for us.

The family who run the restaurant will warmly greet you when you enter and you will enjoy what certainly feels like a home cooked meal. Whether you're indulging in a classic mezze platter or savoring a perfectly grilled kebab, each dish is packed with authentic flavors and served in hearty portions. The chicken tawook, greek salad, and falafel were all exceptional. We will be back!

Wife wanted Lebanese food tonight and we found this great little mom and pop (literally) Lebanese restaurant close to city center of Corona. A little tricky to find because their unit is at the end and abuts up to Lincoln. They seem to do s lot of take out but there's ample room for dine in as that's what we did. The four of us had similar cravings for beef kafta kaba and we ordered an appetizer bowl of this amazing yogurt called labneh mtawani which is essentially a thick yogurt blend of garlic and olive oil. It's great with flat bread or as an addition on top of the kafta. Portions were just right, not too little and not too much. Personally for me I would've loved more!! It was that good. Really enjoyed ourselves and will be frequenting this establishment when the craving comes for proper Lebanese food.

Food is excellent, fresh, home made. They always offer a solid serving, and give ample pita bread. I grew up on the east coast, and I think the Mediterranean food there is better near NY/CT, but this place is excellent. Well priced, and simple. They aren't slow but not the fastest either. About 10-15 min. Comfort food though! Love their toum with their shish tawook and love their babagunush. Service is excellent! So friendly, always thinking of the customer. Smiling and friendly. A rare sight in California. Good honest hard working people, an excellent small business to support. Ambience is simple and clean, feels like the restaurants I'd eat at as a child.

Update: today was my third time coming here, and the food remains consistently good. We had chicken tawook again and it was so juicy, moist, and tender as before. In addition we had the yellow rice, salad, garlic spread, pita bread and humus. If you love authentic Middle Eastern food, you will not be disappointed coming here. And the chocolate baklava was pretty good too.

Finally got a chance to do a sit down visit. The food is very tasty and the portions are big. I love the cheese rolls and all the sides they give you. Plenty of parking and the service is excellent the lady was so nice and welcoming. A lot of to go orders So we had the place all to ourselves. We will keep coming back to try new plates.

I've been to a few Mediterranean places in corona but this place is my absolute favorite. Food is always fresh and delicious. I love their hummus and garlic paste. Everything is so authentic. Customer service is wonderful. I recommend the chicken tawook.

Wonderful place!!! First the service is outstanding, the staff seems to be a family run kind of thing. Super nice! I LOVE their baba ganoush! The beef kaybab is always delicious and cooked just right! The place is spotless and the ambiance casual.

A couple of weeks ago, I was driving through Corona and wanted to take a break so I exited & did a Yelp search which came up with Kebab El Basha and I thought to try it out. What a great find! The owners are extremely friendly. I had a great meal with the Chicken Tawook Kabab. But the really great thing was topping it off with a serving of their baklava, which was just stashed full of pistachios. And while drinks are not on their menu, it's mentioned that drinks are available. I ordered a Turkish coffee, which was absolutely the perfect accompaniment to the baklava. So for foodies, if you happen to be on the SR-91 near Corona, this restaurant is not far off the freeway. So I'd highly recommend a very short detour and try this place out. Wonderful!

I ordered alot for my first time and definitely disappointed and should have went to my usual spots but wanted to support a new business and the local economy besides they had beef hummus, not many places have this? And kanefa? Here locally in Corona? I was excited but I tried it and tasted it but not wanting me to want more nor come back. Flavor wasn't what I expected; rice wasn't fluffy and seems old, lamb chop was dry and burnt, kanefa doesn't seem fresh either...overall overpriced for everything and although I usually like to give business establishments a couple of try's...I will not be returning.

Went here in a weekend morning/afternoon and it was empty. Which was surprising because the man working there was very nice and the food was very reasonably priced. We took it to go and were very happy with the food. Will go again.

After a long day of work as a chef myself, I know what I want and what I crave. Sometimes after working 12+ hours 5 days a week you want someone else to cook for you. This isn't the first time this issue has happened. I personally like the garlic spread with my beef kabobs and rice rather than the hummus. Everytime I ask for no hummus but the garlic spread it has been the same woman every time taking my orders. Her response has always been "but we make our hummus fresh" yes I have had your hummus, I know it's good. I understand that it's fresh however; its not my preference. Every single time I have gone home, been charged for the extra side of garlic spread and end up with hummus and no garlic spread. Today I went for the fourth time because the kabobs and rice are so tasty.... I had already had a long day and thought she got it this time- didn't check my order... and get home and have no garlic spread and hummus. I called the number here on Yelp that said they were still open for another 30 minutes and whoever answered the phone was laughing at me and said I'm sorry were already closed. With him Laughing the whole time I said I don't think it's very funny- this is the fourth time I've come back to give it another chance. He then replied laughing next time you get three garlics for free. I responded "I don't expect to get something I already paid for- for free, I'm trying to let you know this has happened 4 times already and it's not cheap to eat here." He then began laughing again and said your next garlics are for free. That's not the point I was trying to make. You're a small culinary business and being a chef from multiple Forbes Five Star Five Diamond restaurants and resorts that is looking for the comfort of food in your business's restaurant- that was not the way to treat a customer. Not once did he ask my name, or about anything else. He kept laughing. I've have kept coming back even though my order is always wrong, I know there's potential- but after today's experience I would not recommend this place to anyone with employees or owners like that at all. You're a restaurant owner, times are hard... prices of all groceries have gone up. If someone comes into your restaurant it's a blessing right now. If something isn't right with their order you make it right, you answered the phone when Yelp said your business was still open even though you claimed you were closed. You made me into a joke. You don't laugh and make jokes of the customers giving you chance after chance, especially being in a place of business where nothing has ever lasted there. I am extremely disappointed in the unprofessionalism displayed here and I will surely let everyone I know- not only friends, family, and fellow chefs we're all a just a laughing joke to these people, and our orders don't matter. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. GOOD LUCK STAYING IN BUSINESS.

I always order the potato mazza and hummus with beef. The potatoes are always well cooked but crispy and a big portion. The meat is soft and tender. The hummus is thicker than I am used to but flavorful. I also enjoy their garlic sauce. Something I have experienced elsewhere is the pita comes hot. It does not here so far from what I have experienced

The staff here is very friendly and advised us on what to try for our first time. While waiting, we ordered baklava, which was very tasty--extremely fresh and melted in the mouth. The lamb was excellent; highly recommend it!

This place is a great casual sit down restaurant in the middle of corona. Ive sat down too many times to count. The food is amazing, and they have a wide variety of options. 5/5 stars from me!

This plate was $16!!! Yes it came with one other kofta but I ate it, LOOK HOW SKIMPY THEY ARE!!! Ome kofta was over cooked on the outside and almost raw on the inside and the other one was overcooked. They're INSANE charging these prices , legit ripping people off. Sad. Will never come back again. Place is extremely dirty.

I love me so authentic middle eastern food! I came across this restaurant and decided to give it a try! WOW! Just a great experience! Prices are very reasonable! The food was just wow amazing! Flavorful fresh and just 10/10. The gentlemen that helped us was amazing. Very welcoming and sweet! I will definitely recommend my family and friends here! This is definitely my new spot for sure. He always gave us a sample of their baklava wow so so good! Like I said everything is so fresh! Glad to have a spot like this in this area! Can't wait to return! Also very clean and easy menu! We found this place through Yelp and decided to try them out since our usual Mediterranean place was closed. The lady who took our order was so sweet and nice. She offered us free baklava while we waited for our food. It was so yummy and not too sweet. The falafel was pretty small in size and did not have much flavor to it. The tabbouleh salad was really good. The chicken shawarma sandwich was dry and the pita bread was a bit burnt. The chicken inside the sandwich was really dry and didn't have much flavor. The shawarma combo had the beef that had great flavor but the chicken was dry and had no flavor. The rice was tasty. The salad it came with was good. They charge $1 extra for either the garlic or tahini sauce and they come in a small container. The bill came up to $43 plus tips. A bit pricey and overall food was nothing to rave about so not sure if we will return.

It was a cool evening, we were craving Middle Eastern food, but the favorite restaurant was way across town and likely closed by now. Then, I remembered this restaurant took over in a series of follow-up acts after Mr. Kabob moved to Redlands. We phoned in our order and the quote for time to pickup was about the amount needed to drive from downtown. When we arrived I was greeted outside by the owner who said to go inside, the food was ready. That's when I noticed the market they've installed in the space where the old restaurants placed the buffet. I think this was a wise decision, diversify. The young lady who assisted inside was really nice and brought some cans of soda from the cooler, apparently drinks were included with our order. For a first visit to any restaurant i like to get combination plates with as many different sides as possible to see what's good. I think I ordered the wrong salad but it was good regardless. The kabobs and Shawarma were 8also very good but like most food, it's better eaten sooner than later. Overall, their food is solid. Great seasoning for the meats, a thicker take on hummus, and good tahini and garlic sauce. The rice is the pilaf style and very tasty.

This was our first time here. We ordered four plates of kabobs, and the kibbeh and cheese roll appetizers. With four drinks, our bill was around $115. For what we paid, the experience was not amazing. The portions were tiny, and we joked that the lamb chops were "baby lamb" because it was so small. The "salad" that came with the plates lacked any sort of dressing; normally I'd expect lemon and olive oil drenched salad at an Arabic food establishment. The hummus side was about 2 tablespoons. I just expect more generous portions and higher quality for Middle Eastern food. The only reason they're getting three stars is because they're halal and because of the nice Syrian lady working there. She was super kind and hardworking.

My husband Alex and I were craving Middle Eastern food, specifically Shawarma. We decided to go to Kabab El Basha and we were very pleased. From the fresh food, atmosphere and the friendliness of the owner. We were delighted with how tasty the food was and we were very happy with the portion size. They also had a little market too, full of Middle Eastern food. Besides our Shawarma plates, we also got tasty hummus, delicious garlic paste, and yogurt drink. We also picked up stuffed grape leaves, pickled turnips, pita bread, lebni, red pepper paste, and pickled green olives too We can't wait to go back again!!

The food is good, but they messed up my order. I wanted a chicken shawarma plate, but instead, they gave me a wrap. I notified the cashier, but he was unhelpful and had an attitude. There was also a significant language barrier, which made the situation worse. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, yet he insisted that the wrap was what I ordered, which is not true. My advice is that they need to hire someone who speaks better English to handle the orders instead of someone who can barely understand.

The food and service are amazing!! I had the chicken dish with the rice and my husband had the mixed dish with the beef and chicken. The soup is so comforting and delicious, especially during this cold weather!! Feels like they serve as if you were in their home!! 10/10

Pronominal food, reasonable pricing, solid music and superb service. I was struggling to choose what to eat last because it all tasted so good but then you try their baklava and it's game over. I was shocked that it wasn't crazy busy but I assure you I will definitely be going back and hopefully you will too! I cannot recommend this place more.
