"The platters of Pakistani fare served at this South OBT strip-mall restaurant are nothing short of superb, be it the scores of beef kebabs (ground chapli, rolled seekh, or chunked boti) or redolent stews like nihari and paya – both being worth the visit alone. Enjoy it all with a large, sesame-specked Afghani naan. To skip an ending of carrot halwa and bold kadak chai would be a royal shame." - Faiyaz Kara

Tried this restaurant for the first time and will be the last. Saw a deal on Groupon so we decided to try. Our Togo order missing Paratha. Called restaurant and they admitted they forgot and told us remind them next time visit. Samosa filling was sour and ended we threw in the trash. Naan was okay but kinda burnt. Butter chicken is so sweet compared to other Indian places. Not sure it’s authentic Pakistani tastes but we did not like it. Did not see nagative reviews from google before we tried. But glad we threw out most of our food and hope not to be food poisoning. Won’t be back even she promised to give us back our missing paratha.

The food here is great. We had the chicken tikka masala and it was very flavorful. The bullet naan was fresh and had a nice heat level to it. The veggie samosa were the stars of the meal.

My family and I came to Kabab king for Iftar buffet during Ramadan. Everything was delicious. Biryani was really good, So was tandoori chicken. We enjoyed the korma. My wife was in love with samosas and pakorhas. I loved the kheer. Kheer was very nostelgic. Their palak/saag was really good.

Well this was my first experience with this kind of Curry and it was not bad thank God I did not get it any harder than I did it was just the perfect spice for me. I do think that the samosas are better than the other chicken things that I was going to order thank you for suggesting that. I had no idea what the broth was but it's spice was not for me it did not taste good at all. The Pani Puri was great when it was hot made the mistake of not eating them all right when they were hot and ended up throwing them away because they were mushy and disgusting totally my fault.

Google
Best Pakistani Restaurant in Orlando! The “Chicken Karahi” is a waterfall of flavors and juiciness. Biriani is super good and all other foods are amazing, tender and flavorful. Owned and run by a very generous family.

Google
I will start by saying if I was purely rating this based on the Indian dishes ordered, it would be a 4-5 star review. However, my son ordered Chicken Tenders. After eating one he mentions it’s the most interesting inside he’s ever seen. I look and it’s raw! We mention to the employee and there was zero concern, he didn’t remove it from the table, didn’t take it off the check, just said “oh, sorry”. I would have even left more stars if there was any concern or recognition of how dangerous this could be. Paneer Tikka Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, and Naan were great! Atmosphere is a bit bland but that’s ok.

**About the Location:** Kabab King, situated in a convenient strip mall in Orlando, offers ample parking, making it an easy choice for visitors. The restaurant exudes a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with a clean environment that immediately sets a positive tone for your dining experience. The pleasant location and accommodating staff contribute significantly to its appeal as a dining destination during your Orlando trip. **About the Food:** At Kabab King, the food truly impresses with its quality and authentic flavors. The Mutton Karahi is a standout dish, rich in flavor, and every bite is a delight. Paired with their special handmade Afghani bread, it creates a satisfying culinary experience, although there could be a bit more curry to match the generous bread size. The Chicken Biryani is another highlight, offering substantial portions suitable for three to four people at an incredible value. Its taste ranks among the best in Orlando, adding authenticity to your meal. Ending with a kadak chai perfectly concludes the dining experience, offering a satisfying and traditional touch. Overall, Kabab King is a solid 4-star establishment with a promise of quality and authenticity, and is certainly worth a visit when you’re in Orlando again

Downloading my review based on my this visit I had visited this restaurant for the second time, having had an excellent experience during my first visit. Unfortunately, this time, the experience was far from satisfactory. I had recommended the place to my colleagues, but the food quality and service were disappointing. We ordered a variety of dishes, including samosa chat, pani puri chaat, chicken malai boti with garlic naan, chicken 65 with plain naan, chai, and chicken biryani. Despite requesting chai before the food, it arrived quite late, and the server, who appeared to be new, seemed inexperienced. The food lacked the flavors I had enjoyed during my previous visit; everything tasted bland. We had to ask for something to spice it up, but the server informed us that they didn't have any options to enhance the taste. To add to our disappointment, the biryanis we ordered to go were similarly unappetizing. Considering this underwhelming experience, I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant, especially after having initially planned to make it a regular stop whenever I was in Orlando. The inconsistency in both food quality and service left me disheartened and questioning the reputation I had previously associated with this place. Amazing Place|| HIGHLY RECOMMEND I hightailed recommend this place if you are a big fan of Indian / Pakistani Food. Great Hospitality. Amazing food. Everything was super great. We were served Samosa as we walked in. Didn’t know they were complimentary coz Ramadhan. They we got some iced drink. My friend ordered Chicken Masala with Naan. He saud it was super amazing. And i ordered lahori chole with bullet naan. They were so so so amazing. I simply loved it. Enjoyed eating my food. And at the end we were served fruit custard - guess it was complimentary too. The server and owner were very humble, nice, soft spoken and very down to earth. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE IN ORLANDO AREA!!

Yelp
4 stars for some solid Pakistani food! Kabab King offers a buffet on Saturday if you wanna try a little of everything, it's $16.99 pp. We didn't want so much food so we ordered off the regular menu, it's nice that you're still able to order off the menu while they have the buffet. There's a free soda with yelp check-in, I didn't notice until now. Lol. For food we started out with the Karachi Special Chaat, $6.99. It's chick peas with a bunch of Indian style sauces, think plum sauce, mint and the yogurt, topped with fried papdi. So unique, we loved it and use the sauce for our bread. Chapli Kabab was the next thing we tried, $12.99. It was two minced meat patties with pomegranate, on top of white onion on a skillet. It was good but for the price, a side of rice would be nice to accompany it. For bread we got the Afghani bread, $3.99. It's basically similar to naan but has sesame on it. Overall we left feeling satisfied we didn't waste our cheat meal. This place is definitely worth trying if you've never tried Pakistani food! Service was really quick too!

Yelp
Halal? It's me... I've been wondering if you've tried Pakistani? Credit goes to food critic, Faiyaz Kara, for writing about this hidden gem in Orlando Weekly. Wherever he goes, my stomach follows. Located in a shopping center on OBT in Orlando's "curry corridor". We went on a Saturday afternoon, where they offered a $17 buffet option with plenty of biryani and tandoori options, but wanting less food and looking to try something new we opted to go a la carte. We got the the Karachi special chaat ($6.99) with papdi (fried flour crackers), chickpeas, potato, onion and rice vermicelli, along with yogurt and tamarind chutney, was at once tangy and fiery, and sweet and crunchy. Then the sizzling chapli kebabs ($12.99), fattened patties of seasoned minced beef, crunched with ground coriander and pomegranate seeds. And finally the, sesame-specked drool inducing Afghani naan ($3.99) did us in. This place was amazing, if you're looking to try something new in a chill family friendly atmosphere, definitely go here.

Yelp
Great food and very polite people. Chicken samosa was the best! Chicken Tikka masala was great. Chicken 65 was better than anywhere else. Kulfi falooda tasted authentic!

Asma A.

Yelp
Tried this place for dinner. We ordered chicken karahi, nihari n naan. The food was brought to the table within 10 mins of ordering. Food is decent. But i felt it was a little pricey. They have mentioned an offer on yelp which said one free sofa with purchase. They did not entertain that offer and the counter guy had no idea about that offer.

Hammad S.

Yelp
Come try this place out you won't regret it. I promise, Try the Nihari, Chicken 65, and the Bihari Boti.

Ihab K.

Yelp
Great food, excellent taste, kids friendly. Came all the way from Hawaii and few years back and wanted to taste nihari and haleem this time. Place did not disappoint!

Jason T.

Yelp
Food here is great, some of the best I've had for Kebab. It's authentic, super flavorful and cooked and seasoned perfectly. We got the meat combo and it was exceptional. The reason for the low rating is the owner does not allow the waitstaff to KEEP THEIR TIPS!!! All tips go back to the restaurant. I'll change this rating to 5 stars once that policy is changed. Keeping tips is shameful.

Manuel P.

Yelp
Finally a good Pakistani restaurant in orlando! We used to go to chaat house a lot , but gave this a try. A bit pricey compared to chaat house, but they give you a lot more meat on portion and sizable portions, enough to bring it home. Clean restaurant. Halal food. Quick service. Got food in 10 mins. Very fresh and tasty. 100% recommend it to anyone looking to try Indian or Pakistani food!

Steven C.

Yelp
Outstanding Pakistan and Indian food. I had the lunch combo with one chicken leg tandoori style, biriyani with 2 chicken legs, lots of spicy rice and great, nan bread was so good, a vegetarian samosa, a side salad with yogurt dressing and a sweet called Gulab Jamun. Everything was fresh and delicious. $10 at lunch. Most highly recommended. They also have lots of curry dishes.

S C.

Yelp
Old food, they cook it days before and just reheat it for you. Might as well cook yourself and eat your left overs

Zaila A.

Yelp
Food was awesome great place to be in. Great customer service. Good thing they clean washroom. More stars they have prayer room . Nahari was best with tasty Sesame naan. Karachi chat was fresh and they make spicy according to your taste. Pani puri was good too.

Asif A.

Yelp
Me and my friend went to this so called restaurant to have some dinner. We ordered Beef Bihari, Chicken Malai Boti and Nihari. It was a really disappointing experience. We asked the server if it's spicy, the server said that it can be spicy if you wanted, so we ordered spicy. The Bihari Boti had no flavor whatsoever and felt like it was made previous day and the kitchen just warmed it up and served it. The beef was dry and had no spices but of course it had chopped chilies on top to make it spice. Chicken malai Boti tasted like it was dipped in some kind of vinegar or lemon juice and it was too sour. Nihari tasted like it is a bowl of wheat soup with beef It. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Last but not the least the restaurant had no ventilation. Smoke from the grilled items was building up and was hard to breathe. I don't know how this restaurant has 4 star unless they are paid reviews and stars. I would not give this restaurant a single star.

Yelp
Had a great. Night here. Pretty bare bones in terms of atmosphere, but great food. Highly recommend the Biryani / generous serving, and excellent, subtle flavor. Service was friendly and prompt. Will try again to explore the menu a bit more.

Vinod V.

Yelp
Highly recommend their lunch buffet. Decent variety with very tasty food and very polite staff especially Mani who kept on checking on you frequently. Will definitely be back for more.

Cameron C.

Yelp
Try staying open until your posted time. That way, when someone drives to your place and you close at 9:23 Instead of 10, they can save themselves some time.

Mehwish K.

Yelp
Truly a hidden gem. Excellent food in a family friendly environment. The owner is very nice and came to our table and was very pleasant and friendly . Very quick service and food was served within 10 minutes. We ordered Chicken Karahi, Haleem and sizzler grill. Haleem was very authentic and tasty. Naan was delicious! Lauki halwa, gajar halwa and rabri were very tasty. I will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Pakistani food!

Jeff M.

Yelp
I started out with the chicken samosas, four little crispy pockets of yum served with a tamarind dip. I only managed to eat two before the rest of my meal arrived: chicken karahi and a naan. I neglected to mention to the waiter that I'm a heat wimp, and it was a bit too spicy for me. Nevertheless, it was delicious. I was alternating bites of chicken with bites of naan and sips of sweet lassi to keep me from melting into my napkin. The chicken was served as bone-in pieces in sauce: I hope my using my hands to eat it was in keeping with local practice. The naan was good, more uniform in thickness than some I've had that had thin, crispy areas. I had two sweet lassi's: the first was quite watery, while the second was almost a shake in thickness. I finished with a kheer, a very small serving of thin pudding with ground nuts: probably the right size given how much I had previously eaten! Service was good if very soft-spoken.

Yelp
been eating here for some months now and kabab king never disappoints. they are not shy with their portions and the food is always ready fast and fresh. service never disappoints and they always have a cool event going on!

Yelp
Nihari was good as was chicken malai- it's good to have options- papri chaat wasn't bad either & aloo paratha too

Robin J.

Yelp
Delicious butter chicken! I also had naan with potatoes inside which was also very yummy. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helped explain food items.

Cristen A.

Yelp
Indian/Pakistani food is my absolute favorite cuisine. During a short, purposeless visit to Orlando, I happened upon this restaurant. I honestly expected a regular kebab place, given the name. Little did I know I would be treated to one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The staff was so welcoming and attentive. I ordered the chicken korma which was what I suspect was done more traditionally with bone in chicken (more flavorful and juicy than just breast) and a super flavorful, spicy sauce. I wanted to lick the bowl but that seemed uncouth so I sopped up everything I could with the fluffy naan. Seriously, go here if you like this cuisine, if you're hungry, if you want some place to feel comfortable and we'll taken care of. Lovely experience.

Yelp
Don't waste your money food have no taste order seekh kabob and some more grill item all off then have no taste and feel like eating raw meet

Roberto I.

Yelp
Excellent service, food is delicious, very nicely presented, Rakesh helped us with the food to the table and he was very attentive, professional and knowledgeable, my family loved the dinner and the service. Prices are very reasonable too. We'll go back as soon as we can. Thank you.

Abutalib Z.

Yelp
This place has the most authentic Pakistani food I have had in the States. I have lived in Dallas and Southern California but no Pakistani restaurant comes close to the flavor these guys have. I have ordered from here about 3 times in the past month to make sure that the taste wasn't a fluke but they have consistently provided amazing food. So far I have only gotten food delivered from here but I'll probably dine in sometime soon. Thank you for giving us the most authentic Pakistani food.

Steven R.

Yelp
This restaurant was well needed in this area. My wife and I had the chicken tikka masala and honestly, I haven't had good food like this since I was in New York. I highly highly recommend especially if it is your first time trying this type of food! If you are familiar and have been looking for an authentic meal, then this is the place to try. Ps their mango juice is sooo good and awesome after a hot Florida day. The staff is also very kind and welcoming!
