Food is delicious. I ordered some pork belly skewers so tasty. Some empanads pork and beef. I also had the red snapper. It was phenomenal. The only thing I did not like was the live karaoke. It was way too loud and way too early. I went at 11 a.m., and it was full blast. I could not hear my wife's conversation, and she was sitting across from me. Other than that, it's a nice place. Just be ready for loud music.

We stopped by around 11 am for an early lunch. It is a food joint as well as as a grocery story. Service was friendly. He explained to us the options. It was our first time trying Filipino food. We ordered two sides combo with rice. The meats was nice. Our kids asked why the rice was plain. The server told us that Filipino rice does have any added to it. In our culture we always put salt to the rice. So something new we learned. Nice place for a quick bite.

I’m not from Dallas, but I stumbled upon this place online and decided to take a chance. I ordered two big trays to bring to family birthday party (fyi: 24HRs notice upon ordering trays)… Just so you know, I was flying in from California but I was able to pick everything up right on schedule. The trays of Liempo were chopped generously, and BBQ skewers were massive! (Worth the price!) I didn’t get to take photos of the trays I was more focused on family upon arrival. My partner’s family is Mexican, and they totally loved the BBQ skewers—especially the Tray of pork belly -aka- Liempo. They even asked for the recipe! I had to let them know I bought it from Filipino Kabayan in Dallas. But I get why some people on the comments mention the karaoke; I ordered the trays to go while in line the volume needs adjusting, I had trouble hearing the order taker and cashier. Overall, the portions were generous, delicious, and well-packaged. Thank you!

I’ve tried many Filipino restaurants and this one doesn’t stack up to any of the ones I’ve visited. The food was bland, service is slow, price to value is not reasonable and the store is lacking. I would not eat here again. But, feel free to give it a try!

For a short time, I felt like I was home, when I left that door back to reality again. Great food and karaoke time just like pinas! Good price. Fast. Food options👍. #1 Pinoy restaurant for me so far here in Dallas!

So Delicious, Fresh Food, You Must try!!! 😋 We arrived around 12:30 pm My husband ordered the 3 combo platter with pork belly, bbq on stick & chicken adobo and he said they were all good (he finished his entire meal!😂) in addition to a Halo Halo which he loved! I ordered Pancit Bihon Chicken, 2 orders of Lumpia (1 order = 6 pcs) and 1 bbq on stick, everything I ordered was so delicious & I had plenty of Pancit to take home. There was a birthday for one of the families that came in a song was requested. We will definitely be back!!! We were told that on Saturdays there is Lechon & on Sunday they have breakfast. Do yourself a favor, try it out! 🥰 You’ll be thankful you did!

This place is delicious!!! My boyfriend and I aren’t that familiar with Filipino food and we wanted to start branching out, then we drove by Kabayan! The lady behind the counter was very helpful and answered all our questions. The menu was a little confusing for me, so I ordered by pointing at the food. Luckily, she saw how confused we look and offered little sample cups to help with our decision. All the dishes taste SO GOOD with so much flavor and perfect spice level. I got a 2-entrées plate ($10), and my boyfriend got the 3-entrées ($12.50?). Each curry dish came in a styrofoam bowl which is perfect because each dish is unique and I didn’t want them to mix together. The spicy chicken dish was creamy with a small kick. It was spicy when I taste test it alone, but it wasn’t bad with the rice. The pork belly and pork skewer were surprisingly good! It wasn’t dry and bland as I imagined, but juicy and the burnt char around it added even more flavors. We devoured our plates and still had 2 bowls of curry left as leftovers. I really liked the taste, price and service here. Their dine-in area is nice, but make sure to clean up after yourself. They also have a little store on the left side that sells like snacks if you wanted to try some.
