"Kabob House came on the scene early in the pandemic; the Palestinian, family-run operation from the founder of Falafel King, which opened in 2015 and now operates under new ownership. Like Falafel King when it debuted, Kabob House is an exciting addition, made more so by its all-halal menu. Regular customers gather for traditional dishes, daily specials, and fresh desserts." - Clair Lorell, Beth D'Addono

"When chef Sophina Uong tears herself away from the always jammin’ Mister Mao, she’s not looking for fancy. “I live on Kabab House,” says the Cambodian-born chef, who loves her some shawarma and kofta kababs. Almasgoof is another Metairie Mediterranean haunt. Her go-to for Indian fare is Plume in Algiers Point, chef Tyler Stuart and Merritt Coscia’s hub for regional South Asian fare." - Beth D'Addono

Delicious! I think this may some of the best Mediterranean I’ve had. Serious. When you’re looking for a little break from the abundance of Cajun fried food here, this is what you want! Pleasant staff, fast service and totally worth every penny.

Casual comfortable atmosphere. You can place your order at the counter and then sit at a table and they’ll bring you the food. The food; absolutely fantastic! Great flavor, fresh and delicious. I’ve been here a number of times and it never disappoints. You have to try their garlic sauce. I can dip everything in that stuff. The team works hard to keep the place clean and then r extremely kind and thoughtful. I’ll keep coming back whenever I’m in town. Give it a shot and you too will fall in love.

Everything in this place is NICE 👉 From the food (I can vouch for everything that I tasted so far) to the incredibly patient and awesome staff. They deserve 10 stars because it feels like a home cooked meal and you are welcomed there like family. I don't usually review but Kabob House Nola deserve 5 star reviews. Give them a try and I'm pretty sure that you will leave a positive review as well! Thanks guys!!

Pictures speak for themselves. This place is undoubtedly home to the best food I’ve ever had! When I first walked in, I was a bit nervous, but the staff was incredibly welcoming. I ordered the special of the day, and from that moment on, I’ve been in love with this place. If you’re deciding between bland CAVA and this restaurant, don’t even hesitate—this is the real deal. It feels like eating authentic, home-cooked Mediterranean food.

First time at this location, I have actually ate the restaurant next-door several times and I took a gamble, but it was a good one. The food was not bad at all. It was new to me. At least in the location looked very clean and the waiters and waitresses and everyone that seem to be working. They was extremely nice so will I return? Yes, I will.

I had an amazing experience at Kabab House! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Everything is halal, which is a big plus for me. The service was attentive and friendly, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend their chiken shawarma wrap – it was absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be coming back.

I ate here twice in one week. On the first visit, I had the half chicken and half beef shawarma and the other guest had the lamb chops. The salad had a yummy and fresh dressing. Overall, we were blown away by the quality, taste and portion sizes of the food. The service was really good as well. I placed a pickup order a few days later for the beef shawarma wrap. It was really greasy for some odd reason. I also tried the Lebanese Tea and it was amazing!!! I’d definitely go back for that alone.
