West Palm Beach’s Best Happy Hours | Eater

"With its $5 sushi rolls and $2.50 Singha beer, this chilled-out downtown spot is popular with families, longtime couples, and other small parties. And Kabuki doesn’t limit early diners to a few basic bites, but goes all out with half a page of $5 rolls, two pieces of nigiri for $4, and small plates like veggie tempura and shrimp shumai for $4 to $6. The atmosphere is low-key and comfortable, with electronic pop bubbling along on the sound system, tiny ceiling lamps the color of a cherry tomato accessorizing the front bar, and sushi chefs at attention in the back bar." - Vox Creative

We love Kabuki and stop by a few times each month. I understand they have a great happy hour but as you know, that's way to early for us. We always sit at the bar and have a view of the sushi coming out but we can't see it being made. We started our meal with miso soup which is very rich umami. This time we had the sashimi - salmon, escolar and tuna - all excellent quality and served very artfully. Then we shared the Yaki Soba with chicken which was cooked perfectly and had a very subtle and rich sauce. We have also had the rainbow dragon roll which is a favorite. Next time we will try the Drunkin Noodles and Salmon Teriyaki!

Great food! Even better service. We were there during happy hour which was nice. It is from 3pm - 6:30 pm. Drinks were good and well priced.

A wonderful Thai and Sushi restaurant. Been coming here for a few years. The portions are great for the price. Curries come in big bowls with rice. The rice and noodle dishes are great. The sushi has a great selection. We love the spider roll, the clematis is creative, the PBJ is tasty, and all the tempura rolls are spot on. They have lunch specials as well. We love the Masaman and Red curry. The service is always fast and friendly in a very unique environment. When busy, use the complimentary valet parking. You cannot go wrong.

Review #1000 for Kabuki Sushi. Definitely above average, but not great. The bad: Google maps is way off it takes you to the back of the whole shopping center, but I eventually found the place. The menu is very extensive and the management need to sit down and take out the stuff that doesn't get ordered to save everyone time. 8 pages of menu 😬 The Good: The sushi overall was delicious. Clean, fresh ingredients, and impressive presentation. The special rolls tasted much better than the maki (small rolls) and overall everything was decent. First round came out very quickly the second wasn't as quick, but I wasn't in a hurry. They got my order right 👍🏼 Service was attentive and decent overall. Might be back!

I wish I can give a 0. I’m in shackles of the lack of service at this restaurant. First, I paid with my Apple Pay. Was going to my car to get a cash tip. But it was very rudely brought to my attention that was mandatory to tip right then and there, my other friends that I was with did tip and was told that it wasn’t enough! We told the manager that we did tip but she responded by saying “ my server is working for free if you don’t leave a tip” this is so ridiculous. And now I didn’t leave a tip. Because of greed and rudeness. I would never be back

Disgusting, inedible, greasy food. Improperly cooked. Horrible. Go literally anywhere else. Waste of food, waste of money, and a terrible impression to give people of what (when properly prepared) is one of the most delicious culinary traditions of southern Asia. Ordered a lunch cashew chicken that included white rice and salad and also ordered a spring roll appetizer. Entree had a ¼ inch layer of oil in the sauce, and on the food, the cliche "swimming in oil" does not apply here as this was deep sea diving in it. Spring rolls had only a whisper of color and were leaking grease, soaking through the thin paper doilly in the container and dripping when picked up. Obviously, not cooked enough with too cold oil temperature, causing them to soak up frying oil rather than actually frying. I cooked the spring rolls an additonal 15 minutes at 375 in my convection oven - they came out crispy outside but after resting and soaking through 6 paper towels with grease I cut one in half and the cabbage/noodle/meat filling was horribly saturated with oil and unsalvigsble from the original restaurant preparing them with improper frying oil temperature. The entree I attempted to save by separating the meat and vegetables from the sauce and rinsing the meat and vegetables with water in a strainer. Even with thoroughly rinsing, food retained a greasy texture and still left large oil marks on paper towels. Using a gravy separator, I was able to remove 3 tablespoons of oil from the sauce. Remember, this is a lunch portion, so there is not much sauce to begin with, so it was about ⅔ oil to ⅓ sauce. I ate 1 slice of chicken, 1 piece of broccoli, 1 carrot, and 1 bite of a spring roll. It was all too greasy to be safely eaten. I resigned myself to white steamed rice for lunch but found that the entree oil had leaked into the rice from the other side of the container, rendering it also inedible. I'm so glad I spent $21 and wasted my lunch break picking up this order. Service was good and staff was friendly and greeted me promptly with my order. The atmosphere was typical of this style restaurant. Staff gets 2 stars off because they should be ashamed of serving this food to anyone, and I am shocked they allowed this to be served. Pictured is some of the clean-up efforts to illustrate just how much oil - this does not include the oil I separated out from the sauce or additional paper towels already thrown away. And no, that is not just liquid from sauce. It is oil.

The service was horrible. The waitress filled my husband cup with water instead of the sprite he had and then asked what was in the cup. The waitress forgot to put my crab roll in so it didn't come out until my husband was paying for the bill. I couldn't enjoy a whole complete dinner, so part of the meal I had was the drunken noodles. I think I will stick to the Kubuki in Wellington,FL, from now on.

Been here several times during regular hours and also happy hour - the food, the service and prices here are great!! Parking is easy if you go just before peak times, otherwise it can be a little crowded since there is an equally good taco place next door. There is valet parking though. The serving staff are usually very friendly and attentive and give good recommendations, and the outside seating is good and pet friendly. You cannot beat the happy hour specials on food and the drinks, of course it is a slightly smaller serving but great value. The regular menu is full and you have your Japanese food and sushi / sashimi or Thai. Both i have found to be equally good! Based on the great food and prices and service, i do recommend highly. Enjoy, i shall be back soon!!
