Yelp
A group of us went out here for sushi and bbq, but they also offer traditional dine in as well as hibachi. The concept here is really nice and I think it has a lot of potential. I was really interested in this place because usually all you can eat bbq comes with all you can eat hot pot. While I do like hot pot, this is the ONLY place near here that offers all you can eat bbq and sushi for one price. The sushi was pretty good, although their all you can eat menu didn't have any descriptions - so you had to shuffle between that menu, and the traditional menu just to see what you were ordering.
The big flop for me with this place is the bbq. The selection of foods available was not bad at all. The downside was the lack of flavor on the meats that came pre-seasoned, and for the food that came unseasoned, all you had was salt and pepper. A lot of the bbq places I've been before have an entire sauce bar, along with other ingredients that ei, garlic, scallions, cilantro, sesame seeds, onions, peppers, etc. The only sauces available to dip or marinate your bbq was some very sweet sauce (I don't know what it was, another sauce with a soy base, and creamy Italian dressing .
Again, I didn't try their regular dine in option or the hibachi, although the hibachi table behind us looked very good and entertaining. I think if they improve their bbq option, this place would really hit it off. We drive an hour to get bbq in the city, and this place is only 20 minutes away ( plus it has sushi).
I would absolutely go back for their hibachi since the table behind us seemed to have a good experience, and I hope management can improve the bbq experience because I would like to go back.
