Kachka Fabrika: Distillery & Zakuski Bar

Fantastic iteration of the original Katchka. They’ve taken the best and added to it. A smart, tasty and perfectly executed restaurant. Sat at the bar and enjoyed their cocktails and every dish we ordered. Planning our next visit.

A seafood and martini bar? Say less, I’m there. But I’ll keep coming back for the baked oysters, the dumplings (of course) and the kind employees and wonderful atmosphere. Can’t wait to see what they do in the future.

Went here on a birthday dinner for the first time, having been to the others before. Cool set up with a bar downstairs surrounded by several tables. Upstairs in an almost loft type set up are more tables. We were seated upstairs for our reservation pretty quickly. Our server came after a bit and took our drink order. The Horseradish Vodka martini was very good. We ended up splitting some of the Oysters and dumplings with our drinks. The place is pretty lively and echoey, but the food was delicious as were the drinks. They brought me a birthday shot of one of the vodkas. It is a nice place and we would go back.

This was an amazing experience. The drinks were delicious, but the food was the star of the show. We tried 9 different items and each on was unique, and delicious. This is a must try!

We knew it was going to be great because of our visits to the original Kachka, but this visit exceeded our expectations. Service was impeccable and the food amazing. We can’t wait to go back.

Delicious, great happy hour. Overpriced otherwise, but wonderful. Get the dumplings and oysters. Oyster shooters were an acquired taste. Clam poutine was quite unique and lovely.

This place was such good food. My favorite of the night was stuffed squid. I cant tell you how much I liked it, but I had to order a second serving. If I drank alcohol I believe there drinks would be exceptional also. They looked so refreshing and creative. I had several different dishes and everything was superb. Clam, dumplings, squid, all was a top notch flavor. Your chefs, staff, and decor are wonderful. Thank you. 😀

This is the new cocktail bar from the people behind Kachka, and since I'm on their newsletter I got the heads up that this new location of Kachka Fabrika has a $1 oyster happy hour! (It started out from 4 to 5 p.m. for HH but just recently extended to 6 p.m.) With the high prices of dining out these days, it's rare to find $1 oysters. The bar with counter tables has a great vibe, with a mezzanine level for more private seating. The restaurant itself is kind of hidden behind some condos in the area just south of the Lloyd Center and before Sandy Blvd. Besides oysters, there are a few other seafood items and snacks, and then some of Kachka's signature Russian dumplings. It's a great way for either a light meal or drinks before dinner. I really enjoyed the scallop crudo (albeit a bit pricey at $14 for the size) because it was creative with a huge corn foam on top, covering the four tiny slices of scallop underneath. I did try the oyster shooter flight to try the three flavors, and I would say this was the least successful item to try because there were more liquid ratio to the oyster, so you don't really appreciate the oyster. The bartender was friendly and efficient, and everyone was really welcoming. I'm looking forward to coming back!

Great date night spot with $1 oysters happy hour and tasty ice box martinis made with their own horseradish vodka. We had the fried chicken skin caviar dish. There were 5 amazing bites that were delicious but at $85 for the plate it had better be. Lastly the cheese and cherry dumplings were my favorite. Cherry is seriously good and not to miss. Overall great ambiance, service, and easy parking.

Great meal at Fabrika. Kachka is awesome and this newest Bonnie Morales spot might be better. Great speakeasy ambience and many highlights. We had the trout caviar with a sublime chive dip served on potato chips. Killer with a good martini or their over the top Vodka menu. Also had stuffed squid, the great pork pelmeni dumplings and perfect rye bread with dulse smetana seafood butter. Fantastic!
