I wish I can give them 7 stars. Just amazing. The owner knows food so well. She gives the best recommendations according to your preferences. I tried somtum and hao dong with rice waffle. Perfect combo for an empty stomach 😋 I came here as soon as I landed, and it was the best choice I’ve made this year. For dessert, please please try the bael cake with ice cream. It’s one of the best desserts I’ve tried in Thailand!!! I wish they sell the ice cream separately. I have to come back here every time I visit BKK. Please try their food and leave good reviews, so that it will be here forever. Thank you.

The pork rinds here are a thing of beauty. It was great in my Luang Prabang som tum, and I’m sure it was great in the tomato relish dip dish that every other table seemed to be ordering. The assam river prawns reminded me of a dish that my grandma used to cook. And the sirloin skewers, despite not being charred enough, still managed to be wonderfully moreish and flavourful. I think this restaurant has lots of potential. Didn’t order much as I wasn’t very hungry that day, but I’ll be back soon to try more of their menu. Their focus on sourcing, from breeds of local pork for the sausages, down to the different kinds of rice, is admirable and something I wish we’d see more of in the context of casual restaurants like this.

Loved the food here. As a newbie to Thai cuisine, this was a great introduction to Isaan food. The hosts were very kind, the interior was cosy and the flavours were so balanced! The confit duck was my favourite.
