The 19 Best Restaurants in Seychelles | Eater

"Part of the Laïla hotel across the street, Kafe Kreol in Anse Royale is a family-friendly beachside haven that serves a hodgepodge of Seychellois Creole and Italian food. Pastas are made fresh daily, like the spaghetti vongole (which gets the chef’s kiss), while mango adds a twist to octopus salad, a refreshing Seychellois staple. In true Seychelles style, the atmosphere is super relaxed, which makes Kafe Kreol a good choice if you’re coming off the beach in your flip-flops or after hiking one of the island’s many spectacular trails. Once you finish your meal, order a fresh coconut, pop that straw in there, and head down to the beach to digest with your toes in the sand." - Steven Rioux

Beautiful and tasty A very photogenic place — perfect for Instagram. The food is excellent, but cocktails are average and the service can feel a bit tense. Still, the setting and flavors make it worth five stars, and I’d gladly return.

Excellent restaurant! The meal is fantastic, portions are big enough. Service is 5+ and all the dishes look so great! The atmosphere is very attractive, even while sitting on the beach. We definitely loved this place and Creole dishes!

We enjoyed quiet much. The prices are medium/high but the quality is really good, we had 1 fresh coconut water and an amazing milkshake. Nice view of the sea and seating tables are really nice. Very clean toilets and clean place in general 👌

This is the apex of Seychelles experience: way overpriced, average food but just taking advantage of the beautiful seaside and fine sand around. Everything is a money milking factory, nice for a once in a lifetime but don’t plan to return any time soon.

Great location, good food, and swift service. Don’t get all the bad reviews for this place. Pricing was on the same level as other places we’ve dined on the Seychelles.

Really enjoyed our meals here at Kafe Kreol. Came one night for dinner and another night just for dessert. The staff was very friendly and attentive to us! The food was also really tasty, especially compared to other places around the island. For food we had a pizza, a red snapper fillet dish, coconut nougat and brownies! Would suggest everything, but especially the pizza!
