Kahal Restaurant at Mas Olas

Amazing sunset dinner at this beautiful spot in Pescadero. The property is just breathtaking - a beautiful bar, infinity pool, fun seating areas. The perfect place to have cocktails, enjoy the sunset, watch the whales just off the beach and enjoy some of the best food in Mexico. Chef Sandro is amazing - the way he utilizes the freshest ingredients direct from the Sea and his own farm located all around the Mas Olas properties. The dishes served are not only delish but also visually appealing. It’s an experience for all of your senses. Whether staying the resort, stopping by for dinner or getting a day pass for the pool - you must try this restaurant!!!

Our server Jonatan made this experience special - ask for him! It was our first time dining at Kahal and right away we knew it was going to be amazing. The atmosphere was vibrant and elegant. The music was soft, yet upbeat. The staff were all warm and friendly. Our server Jonatan helped us decide on sushi and our entrees. His humor and personality made us feel comfortable and happy to chat with him. We had the Jurel sashimi, (habanero aioli, layu oil, shitake salt, lemon zest, mint) and it was perfect. Then we were given a tostada bite with squid ink and dill that was on the house. The sun set over the beautiful ocean right before our food was served and it was gorgeous. We ate whole Red Snapper and the NY Strip for our main entrees. The sommelier helped my girlfriend pair a nice wine with the Snapper. This fish is caught fresh daily and was so warm and the skin was perfectly crisp and seasoned. The steak could have had a little better sear on the skin but was cooked perfect medium rare and was tender and flavorful. It came with 3 different sauces to dip. We left feeling like we ate a lot but it felt like healthy amount of fullness :) We are definitely eating here again next time we visit! It was fairly priced for the quality of food, service and atmosphere.

We had another wonderful dinner again at Kahal, one of our top favorite restaurants in Todos Santos. The sunset view was spectacular, the food was wonderful as usual, and the Kahal’s team was as warm and attentive as ever. Special shout out to chef Sandro for helping us out with our custom made birthday cake, it was so so good. We look forward to dining there again on our next trip.

not enough incredible things to say! do not miss this restaurant, or hotel for that matter. every member of the staff goes above and beyond- from each bartender, waiter/waitress and of course head chef Sandro. the fish is as fresh as it gets. book in time to enjoy the breathtaking sunset while you dine!

We had an amazing meal! Chef Sandro’s tasting menu was delicious and inventive with dishes from all over the world that he created from all his travels and experiences. From the sushi to the Italian influences to even including south Asian inspired dishes using local ingredients was just amazing. We were here last year and we couldn’t have imagined even better food this time around but chef Sandro surprised us with his culinary expertise. We will be returning again and again!

We had the most incredible meal, and the setting was just as magical. Sandro took us on a trip around the world with our culinary experience of 11 courses. Each dish was more unique and delicious than the next. His attention to detail, the way he mixes flavors, and his warm hospitality made us feel extremely welcomed. We returned many times on our trip - it was exquisite.

One of the most beautiful restaurants spaces I’ve ever encountered, designed to meld with the beautiful beach and coastline. We came here for dinner every night during our stay and sat in one of the booths overlooking the beach, where we took in the most beautiful sunsets. The restaurant features seafood prominently. Highly recommend the 11 for 11 tasting menu, which gives you a sampling of many of the items on the menu. If they are available, I highly recommend the oysters and the clams. They also have several preparations of whole fish, which were delicious. Overall, delicious and unpretentious food that showcased the freshness of the ingredients. Service was top-notch. Staff were highly knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. We look forward to returning!
