I found this boutique shop by chance and booked a tour to do something different. I was pleasantly surprised with the tour, we had a very good and informative presentation and we were shown the process of chocolate making in detail. We also made our own bar of chocolate to keep. Their chocolate is of superior quality, and you will definitely find your likening cause they mark all their chocolate with tasting notes and give you samples for those that you re interested in. Again I highly recommend their tour and their chocolate, they really know what they are doing, and you do not need to find the golden ticket to experience a tour in a chocolate factory.

I visited Kahkow for a private event. I truly enjoyed the entire experience especially the samples. I purchased the white chocolate bar and a chocolate spread. Staff was amazing and Diana was helpful and knowledgeable. It was fun and interesting.

I visited the shop for a chocolate truffle making class which was purchased on eventbrite for about $90. The class lasts an hour, and the owner/shop manager was the coach of the class. You can taste the cacao, and some small pieces of chocolates. After the class, you can take home 4 pieces of chocolate truffles that you made. Basically it’s a class where you learn the fundamental knowledge of how cacao grows, and harvested by watching a 10 mins video. Some other fun fact of how to make chocolate from the cacao nuts. Lecture was about 40 mins in total, and the chocolate truffle making process is about 15-20 mins. I did come to the class with some expectations and I don’t think the class worths the hype. I could learn all the fundamental facts about cacao from Google and YouTube. I was looking for more of an experience of making the chocolate. However the chocolate truffle was pre-made since they have to be in the fridge overnight. What we actually did was assembling the pre-mixed truffle, rolling them into the round shaped and adding toppings. It was quite an average experience IMO, and not worth what I’ve paid for the class. *** On the side note, the staff judged us when we use “too much” truffle for 1 single piece of chocolate when there is absolutely no guidance of measurements.

The Barista was really knowledgeable of all the products and she gave awesome recommendations. The place is really nice, they have many options. The frozen chocodamia is a must!

The best and smoothest cold brew I've ever had. The frozen drinks looked great as well. This places makes their own chocolate. The place is amazingly clean and they have samples of the chocolate which they also sell.

EDIT : After posting this review the company reached out to replace my order. They also sent a cute mascot which made me laugh. Hopefully my experience was a one off related to shipping time across the country but I commend them for making it right. Chocodamia spread is fantastic by the way!! Ordered chocolate online. Incomplete order arrived semi melted and very close to use by date (same month). I emailed my concern, they didn’t address the missing item and told me it was my fault the chocolate was poor quality for not paying $30 for overnight shipping. They then stopped replying. Won’t be supporting again.

Such a beautiful vibe, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a lovely woman in blonde hair who made this amazing ice coffee for me and recommended these lovely chocolates! Will definitely be back for more.
