Finally I found the best Turkish cafe in London. It has been exactly 2 years since I visited Istanbul. Been trying to find a decent Turkish cafe with great atmosphere and great range of deserts and coffee. I remembered the decadent desert shops selling Turkish delights and a range of deserts and sweet treats. This shop does not disappoint. Had 2 Turkish coffee and tried their cheese pastries. Both really good. 👍 They sell Turkish coffee and tea. Staff were friendly. Can’t wait to come back to try their pistachio ice cream. I loved the way they put a chocolate with their coffees. 🤩

Well, there are some positives but mostly a bad experience. On the positive side, the Turkish coffee was decent, and the same goes for the raspberry cheesecake. The atmosphere was good too. Other than that, the service was seemingly uncaring, and they also almost forgot to bring one of the items that we ordered (something like a mince pie). The good thing was that they noticed on their own and brought it much later. Despite that, it wasn't fresh, and it was noticeably too hot and dry due to being thrown into the microwave. The most outrageous detail is that the prices on the menu do not include VAT. As a result, the only way to know for a customer is if you read google reviews or when you pay, which leaves a bad taste when you eventually pay way way more than you think. On top of that, there is a service charge for that horrible experience with minimal real service. All that makes it way too expensive for what you get. I would not advise someone to go there. There are probably many more and better places to visit if you want something similar but better.

In this cold weather we want something hot and refreshing thing to start a day, then we find this place called Kahve Dünyasi cafe. Here we tried white mocha with oat milk & strawberry milk shake, both are excellent taste and quality, the texture, sweetness & quantity everything is up to the mark. Definitely recommend to try here The service here was soo good and the person named Pavan was soo good in service with a good smile and so helpful in understanding the menu. The atmosphere here was soo warm and smooth music with this kind of food was great time to spend in here. Definitely coming back again to taste this feast once more.

The employees in the cafe are very friendly and polite. We were also very pleased with their service. The air conditioning and ventilation inside are very good for the hot London weather. There are sandwich and breakfast snack options. There are also plenty of ice cream and dessert options. If you want to drink classic Turkish tea, you may not be able to find it; tea bags are offered instead. Thanks again for the service.

Delicious hot chocolate! The carrot cake was so good. They are friendly here. One of the waiters, Mr. Pavan (I hope I remember his name correctly) was very accommodating and polite. Toilet was clean and well maintained. The dining area was actually cleaned well despite being crowded and in the center of a very crowded tourist place.

We pop over to Kahve Dünyası,when visiting West End in the hope of getting a touch of Turkish Cuisine and Turkish Coffee. I asked for simit and Turkish tea it was not available. Then ordered Turkish Coffee and a panini. Unfortunately,on this occasion I wasn’t impressed with the menu and service. The Turkish coffee was no where near the one we make at home and was of very poor quality. The panini toast was also not impressive. Neither the salep was.It was pure sugar. I couldn’t drink it. Sorry Guys,you have some home to do to represent our beautiful,World Class our traditional foods. All the best.

The stuff was professional. The place was so clean. The drinks we had were delicious. The atmosphere is perfect. We highly recommend a place to meet up and chat with your friends.

A unique experience for us. I was not aware that Kahve was Turkish and once inside this was a great experience. The server was excellent, personable and kind! Super busy as it was half quarter in London and she was bombed. The coffee was strong and really good in our vanilla frap (almost like a shake, yummy!) and my latte. The little cakes and chocolates were excellent too!! And the people were from all over the world. I felt like I was brunch if in Istanbul at a posh coffee house! Which really I was!!

This is the about the UK branch in Picadilly Circus. I'm based in the Uk, not Amercia. I just went there with a friend. I didn't know whether to pay the money, at the counter or on the table. The waitress sat us down and gave us menus. We ordered our coffee at the table and the waiteress put the order in for us. It was a tea and hot chocolate. Because it was at the table, I assumed the bill will come to the table, when we asked for it. It was time to go, so I asked for separate bills. I asked her to bring the two bills at the table. She said no. I said "how would you like to do it?" She said I had to pay my order at the counter first and she will bring my friends bill to the table. It doesn't make any sense. I decided not to argue with her. It's easier to bring two bills to the table imo to adviod confusion Anyway long story short. My friend thought I paid for her bill, which I never did. We left the restaurant and got pulled back in obviously. I also used to work in a restaurant, she should have bring the bill to the table or commuicated it better to us, maybe tell us to pay at the counter after we finish, while taking our orders. We don't know whether it's like costa, where you pay at the counter or it's like a restaurant, where we wait for the bill to arrive. The waitresses should have carefully planned it for us, like all restaurants do. She also lied about me. I told her to bring my friends bill to the table, I think she was either being lazy because she didn't want to bring two bills to the table. She was also being lazy to communicate this information to me. Instead she said to my friend. I want to pay my half first at the counter, which is a lie. I told her to bring the TWO bills to the table to adviod confusion. Lucky my friend knows me well and doesn't believe her lies.

Kahve Dunyasi is a great chocolate shop in central London. As soon as I saw it, I had to stop inside and look around. Everything looked so delicious! There seemed to be different sections inside the store. I noticed near the store front is where all the chocolate is sold. In the middle is the display case with all the cakes and snacks. If you walk further in, there is a coffee/drink section. After looking at all the cakes, I had to get one. SInce all the tables were filled and they were super busy, I decided to get 'take away'. I got the mushroom pizza, which was really good. There was a lot of mushrooms on the pizza, and the crust was crispy (See Pic). The chocolate truffle cake was really tasty! I'd recommend this for all the chocolate lovers. Its a rich cake, too. The chocolate mosaic cake is dense but good. I love the cookies inside the cake (see pic). I liked how there are free samples on the tables, too. I was able to try a few different types of chocolates. Overall, I'd definitely come back if I was visiting London again.

Friendly staff. Nice interior. Nice location, looking out at busy Piccadilly. I had a nice Iced Turkish Coffe with a rich ganache chocolate cake with an ice cream scoop on the side. It was just really delicious.

A touristy cafe with overpriced but decent food and drinks. I ordered pistachio ice cream which was one of the best I ever had. For a drink, I ordered an iced Turkish coffee. Sadly this was not too good. It lacked any kind of flavor. Very bland. We also ordered a regular Turkish coffee and a sandwich. My family said those were good. I'd say look for something less touristy if you can, but if you're walking around it's convenient, this place will probably be fine.

Kahve Dunyasi is the UK branch of a turkish chain of coffee shops on Piccadilly with table service. On display is a large selection of chocolates and cakes at the counter. Wanting to try something different I opted for a cup of Salep, a traditional turkish milk and orchid flour based hot drink sprinkled with cinnamon. Some friends who ordered hot and cold coffee were disappointed and commented that Starbucks coffee is better. Despite a big selection of cakes there was not a single nut free cake available so I was unable to try any although I don't think I missed out on much based on comments from friends who tried on our previous visits. Apart from chocolate and cake there are light savoury items available from the menu. Note that there is a 2 for 1 tastecard offer on food.

I don't usually go for Turkish food but here we are, after a night at the movies we picked this cafe as they have a Tastecard offer for buy 1 get 1 free on food, which we used on our savoury food. The counter display is quite pretty and they have ice cream, chocolate and cakes, which should delight anyone with a sweet tooth! They have chocolate samples at the counter which we took too much advantage of so when we sat down to order I couldn't bear to order any more cakes or sweet things. I opted for the chilled Turkish coffee (with hints of chocolate) and Wendy L opted for Salep. We then ordered the beef and cheese quiche with potato and cheese borekitas. The Salep was really good with cinnamon sprinkled on top. It reminds me of Chai Tea latte from starbucks, except the consistency of the drink has been thickened with the salep flour. Turkish coffee was ok but I was not sure about the film of chocolate on the top with some sort of mousse consistency. It was not something that I would order again. The quiche was really nice, although it was pretty obvious that it's something just reheated. The borekitas were a disaster. It was hard inside and it felt like the potato got mashed together into a solid lump so the taste was horrendous. I wanted to give up after eating half of one. Whilst our order was delivered the waitress gave to us two macarons and before we could query whether these were complimentary, she dashed off. Later on in our meal she came back, said sorry wrong order, and promptly took them away again. I tried to scout with an eagle eye whether she put the macarons back onto the general pile of availability and it might have been....disgusting. We could have licked these...And what would they have done if I decided to eat these? Would they charge? Service was terrible although they tried to redeem themselves at times. One of the waitress was obviously in training after looking at her tag, she had a dismissive attitude when we were not ready to order and when my friend tried to use the toilet downstairs she shouted at her not to go downstairs the toilets were being cleaned! Another waitress helpfully suggested that we use the disabled WC on this level. We asked the waitress for a bill, got completely ignored after that for 10 minutes while we waited impatiently. I was watching the same waitress I spoke to before ignore the bill and went about cleaning tables for close of business. The gentleman at the counter eventually gave us the bill but told us to pay at the cashier. Overall, the food is not that amazing. I liked the salep only and might come back only to drink that, takeaway if possible please. Service is atrocious.

I just can't decide if I love it or like it. This isn't your average coffee shop. This is a coffee shop that sells all manner of ice creams, cakes, bakes and an impressive display of macarons, as well as light meals and chocolates. It is an open bar so you can watch them make your crepes and drinks. All the goodies are displayed in the glass fronted counter that runs the length of one wall, so take your time in picking your calorie feast! Coffee is pretty good here, as well as the milkshakes. The coffee menu is vast with hot ones, iced ones and other fancy choices. I tend to stick to the Turkish coffee :) It's marketed as a high end (Ish) establishment however the prices are very very reasonable. They have the gift boxes and merchandising of chocolates down pat which offers that special touch. Other nice touches include the little chocolate that comes with the coffees. And the little chocolate spoon that comes with the other hot drinks. I have had the coffee, chocs and cakes here and although tasty I find it's lacking something but just can't put my finger on what it's lacking! Due to the way it presents itself, I'm expecting a bit more zing that Kahve Dunyasi fails to deliver. Overall it's a great place to hang out without the pressure to settle the bill and leave. It always seems packed yet remains nice and spacious. Good place to meet on a date as it's unobtrusive, has comfy chairs at the back and has a large selection of drinks and nibbles.

It a nice place to try different kinds of chocolate .. Most people are coming to this place to have there Turkish coffee . But I like to try different thing like ice latte , and the best seller .. The iced latte wasn't that good but there best seller dessert was delicious .. The cake should be at oven for 20 min and then it came with a scone of vanilla ice cream and milk ...The staff are helpful and friendly .. All in all its a nice place to have chocolate and coffee

We went for tea time. We had good time. First time in London so i cannot comapre to a similar place. But we liked it. The ice creams and sweets and everything we tried was very nice.

Good coffee and the chocolate spoon that came with it was a nice touch, very attentive staff and the pastries were tasty , relaxing surroundings and overall a good experience.

Not that impressed with this place, there was not enough attending to looking after customers who were seated, the couple sat next to me left because service was so slow. I stopped in for a quick bite before a wedding in St.James's next door. Thankfully I arrived early as I was seated and then left for twenty minutes before being approached for me order. I was unimpressed with their hot chocolate, and to be fair think even the tuna melt I had was just a bit boring, it even lacked seasoning. I know it is London but it was also pretty bad value considering the size, and service. The waiting staff treated me like I had the plague (were never around when you needed them) and in the end I gave up paid and left.

5* Fondue My five stars go to the chocolate fondue which was simply amazing. Next time I go I will have the dark chocolate option which should be even more decadent. Will post a new/edit this review then.

Grand in appearance and the only cafe I know where you have to wait to be seated, Kahve Dunyasi is certainly proud of itself and a little over-zealous for my liking. Nevertheless the extensive range of confectionery including chocolate, cake, ice cream and other desserts is a sight for sore eyes. The ice cream is homemade and good but not quite perfect by my tastebuds, there is an unannounced charge for fruit topping on the dessert and the mastic ice cream has a strong Caribbean spice that I do not recommend trying. Overall, excelling in presentation more than anything else, Kahve Dunyasi is a great place to visit to satisfy a sweet tooth but some of the aesthetics, service, flavours and prices are excessive.

Verdict: Meh. Pros: - Variety. - Ambiance/décor. - Service. Being this busy you are never nor feel rushed! - The ice creams. - Free samples. Cons: - Too touristy! Even for me who is a tourist. - The coffee. Just chain-store quality. - The Turkish Coffee. Just unimpressive. And this is why I visited!!

I must say I did not like this place. The main reason is the inspirited, inattentive service.. Turkish boreks were unsuccessful, especially the mini ones. We couldn't eat them. Swirly ones are 'ok' the most. One small cup of filtered coffee is about $6 but it's good. mocha was mini but was pretty good. Decor is nice, not crowded.

Although I am not Turkish myself, this place strikes me as serving authentic Turkish food in a thoroughly London and modern atmosphere. The coffee is (or can be) served in the true Turkish way, but there are plenty of other Western choices as well. I've had sweets and pastries here a few times and they really are delightful quality. The prices are not cheap, but this is Piccadilly Circus. It is a pretty expensive part of a pretty expensive city and it's in the tourist part of town. I have invited colleagues to informal business coffees here. It's a reliable place to go. Comfortable, good quality, and different from a Costa or Pret or Nero. And as most people agree: they don't rush you out.

The baked goods looked amazing but I came here just for espresso to go while in the area. Good customer service and fair market prices.

Kahve Dunyasi is a relatively new addition to Picadilly. Having been slightly indimidated by the location and grandness, I was a little reluctant to set foot inside. However, one day I did finally find myself in there while trying to avoid a nasty bout of torrential rain... And it was just so enjoyable! It has an incredibly upmarket modern coffeeshop atmosphere, with miles of counters filled with delicious looking confectionary. And everything was just so reasonably priced, definitely comparable to any other chain coffeeshop. Except with this one, you also get table service with a polite waitress or waiter, and a little dish of three free chocolates. Uncertain what to try out, I went for a mug of hot salep. Salep is orchid root, that has been ground and made into a thick milky drink. It's almost like a smooth vanilla rice pudding and is topped with a healthy dose of cinnamon (in true Turkish style). Delicious! I'll definitely be popping in here more often when I'm in the area.

3.5 stars The place is actually a chain, but there is only one location in London I believe. I've been several times and it's really always pretty packed. The wait has never been too long (maybe 5 minutes or so). Everything we've had has been quite good here. And I will say they have quite an extensive menu for a cafe. Multiple dessert options, lots of coffee varietals, sandwiches, pastries, etc... The Turkish coffee is authentic and good quality. The affogiato is interesting - ice cream with espresso and whipped cream. The gelato is good and there are some interesting flavors. They have two boreks options, potato and cheese and eggplant and cheese. Both are good, but the potato is better. Caramel cake - this is really not the best - I'd recommend one of their other cakes over this one. Not very flavorful, the caramel sponge part is dry, the smoother mousse on top is also not the best and rather flavorless as well. There is some chocolate sauce on the top. I would pass. Chocolate Truffle Cake - this is certainly better and definitely good, but still not spectacular. It actually looks better than it is. It's a smooth chocolate cake and it looks quite thick and dense, but it's actually rather light and the chocolate taste is also light as well. Not incredibly rich, which I'd really prefer more. Nice place to just pop into for a break or snack.

Food was great and at a decent price. It was very quiet and customer service was a bit slow..

Love the coffee with almond milk and the potato and cheese Börekitas. Also their deserts are yummy and it's reasonably priced for central London.

I would only recommend this coffee house if you are a fan of cold service. Likewise I ordered the chocolate fondue and I would have preferred if they gave me cocoa powder and hot water. The waiter would not agree to even consider any possibility when I mentioned the fondue did not taste like chocolate. While I was disappointed with the fondue. I was really offended by how poor the over all service was. My party enjoyed their dessert so maybe not all of the food is not edible but no place in such a tourist packed city such as London should have as bad of a service as I experienced here.

My fave dessert place. I love turkish coffee and their desserts are insane. My fave is the brownie with gooey centre in the shape of a heart.

It was my first time here. Its just 3mins or even less from the station which is cool. Its quite big and it had soooo many sweets and interesting choice. I had the caramel frappe and it was absolutely delicious! Also if you order a coffee they serve it with a chocolate spoon which was cool. It was a bit pricey, but considering the location and the product quality, id say it was fair. The service wasn't the best though but i'd go back.

Only place that you can taste Turkish Coffee and Turkish chocolate!! Taste coffee from the people that introduced coffee to Europe coupled with True Turkish Hospitality!! And Again all this for at a reseonable rate for central London Location!!

Part coffee bar, part snack bar, part luxury chocolate shop. Kahve Dunyasi is a very welcome change from the same old same old. You can get all your usual frothy coffees from here - if that is your fancy. It's not mine, I like it just how they serve up, a full cup of tasty black coffee with a jug on the side of just enough milk. Every cup is served with a dark and luscious chocolate spoon, with not so much as a whisper of bitterness. If that's a clue as to how their chocolates taste, then it bodes well. The food is tasty. I've shared a delicious pear tart with a friend, plenty for two if you fancy a little treat, and the mushroom pizza was just right for a lunch for one, thin base with a nice crispy edge and very cheesy. There has been plenty of seating both times I've visited, mid-morning and lunchtime, and I managed to get online using Cloud wifi, which is handy if you are a Sky customer.

They did a good job by bringing Turkish coffee to London. you should try Turkish coffee here, don't hesitate becuase it is not too strong. I like it wiht no sugar but if you don't like for example espresso you should ask for a little bit sugar. Not a five star for turkish coffee but still there is no other around here...

Been here a few times now. Love the chocolate spoon you get when you order a coffee. Tend to go here for coffees, so can't comment on the food.

Kahve Dunyasi is in a beautiful location within short distance to Piccadilly Circus. Provides a great chocolates and variety of coffees.It is looking nice,and spacious. Worst thing in my last visit was service.I did pop in for a coffee break I left my bag and stuff at table.And I realised that waitress took my stuff from the table and she said " Can you find another table yourself,I may need this table later?"I don't think someone could else ask this question at any other coffee chains such as Starbucks:)Interior,location and chocolates looked so great,but I have some concerns about service.

Excellent cafe. The wide variety of drinks can be quite refreshing. I love how I can have my coffee in so many types of hot and cold drinks. In my opinion, the service was average and there is room for work there.

Staff quite rude and they seem determined to give you the smallest piece of cake available which makes the prices unreasonable. However the quality is very high- caramel cake was to die for, profiteroles were extremely good, very chocolatey, and the banana flavoured hot chocolate was one of the best I've tried.

This place is quite busy and has a lively atmosphere. Good selection of deserts and drinks. A few hot things on the menu, but it is really for different types of coffee style drinks. They do not serve tea. They also sells lots of coffee paraphenalia and chocolates. The drinks and desserts are great, but the truffle selection is not great quality. Service was average. A great place to meet up with friends in the centre, rather than the usual chain coffee shops. This is the only branch in the UK, the other branches are in Turkey.
