Our company chartered Kai Lani Catamaran for a whole-company event. We are local to the Clearwater area and are always looking for unique and fun outings. Captain Mike and Brad were excellent hosts! The weather was beautiful. We had a two-hour trip. We ordered food for everyone and Brad handled the drinks like a pro. The whole trip was a huge hit with the entire team and guests. It was a great outing for us to get out of the office and do something fun together as a group. I highly recommend this for visitors and locals alike.

We celebrated my friend's bachelorette party, and it was so much fun. The crew members, the captain, the bartenders, and the live music manager were all delightful and super friendly. It was an amazing experience to watch the sunset from the sea and enjoy time with friends. I highly recommend it 100%.

This was a great experience and the captain and crew go out of their way to make sure everyone enjoys the journey! The live music by Ron Scott was exactly what I would expect and the entire trip was relaxing and enjoyable. My wife and I enjoyed the dolphins off in the distance and the sunset was beautiful! My wife and I went on here for a sunset cruise and we were not disappointed. The views were amazing and the vibe was awesome. If you want to be close to the water and be able to move around the boat to see things and the sunset than this one is for you.

ABYSMAL EXPERIENCE. Despite having a booking set up months in advance to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary after being married on this Catamaran in 1993 we arrived at the dock hours before sailing and were told they had a Private Party they were taking out (we were basically ditched). NO APOLOGIES either. We'd called on several occasions to reconfirm our booking over previous months with ZERO REPLIES. Received auto emails to confirm our booking even after being nixed at the dock. Received a credit, which was nothing considering the hotel costs we'd incurred especially for this trip And a trip for the future which is basically worthless as apparently you can get ditched on a whim and it seems that others recently have had the same "ditched" experience. Terrible business practices an understatement. Would we recommend? NOT A CHANCE!

We definitely recommend the sunset cruise with live music! We had so much fun! Mike, Meghan and Tiffany were all so friendly!

Awesome experience at the evening cruise with musician. Fun, relaxing, and beautiful. Experience it and you won't be sorry. When we docked at the end everyone was chilling and everything was copacetic.

This tour was great! On Thursday there is live music. $25 drink wristband-4 tap beers, Chardonnay, Pinot gris, shooters (fireball, vodka, rum, etc), Bloody Mary's, and some canned beverages as well! Their sunset cruise is longer than the other tours, as we left before many of the other boats and returned at about the same time. Have been coming to the beach for 20 years and don't normally do the touristy things, but we would definitely do this again!

Very Poor Service. Cancelled at the last minute. Sent us notice while we were standing there. Had people ready to go, just not enough. Guess the"Captain" did not care. Could never recommend. Does not even deserve one star.

We had a great afternoon on the catamaran! Fun live musician, a little bar with a nice selection of drinks, and lots of space to move around the boat and enjoy. We did a two-hour midafternoon cruise and the time really just flew by! Definitely recommend as a fun and relaxing way to enjoy time with friends or even clients.

We love the Kai Lani sunset cruise! It's our favorite "excursion" to bring guests from out of town. The crew is always friendly and offering to take your picture or serve a cold beverage. The views are amazing and it's smooth sailing!!

We very much enjoyed our cruise with the Kai Lani crew! They were very friendly and were great with our kids! Found some dolphins and some amazing sights around Clearwater! The deck hands were very friendly and accommodating to anything we needed. I highly recommend this tour!!!

I have been on other day cruises and the Kai Lani Catamaran blows all of them away. Friendly staff! They made sure everyone had an awesome time. I would recommend this sailboat.

BEWARE! five days ago, we booked the Kai Lani catamaran cruise for today. We walked 2 miles to get there. we got a confirmation email yesterday reminding us of our trip and to get there a half an hour early. We read some of the reviews that they cancel for no reason so I called and left a message. to please get back to me and let me know if they were still on and that they could email text or call me. No call no email no text back. We get there and they said oh we are closed for repairs today and couldn't find my reservation but they had already charged my charge card. I finally was refunded and now too late to book any other excursions because we are going back home tomorrow. We were VERY frustrated with this company. all it would have taken was an email or text the day before to let us know.

Your trip to Clearwater, FL. is only complete by sailing on the Kai Lani. Simply the best way to spend time on the water enjoying beautiful Floridian views. This cat is spacious, clean, and sleek. The crew exceeded all expectations and were very accommodating. Thank you Mike and Brad for this special memory. A must book people, look no further!

My daughter and I were on vacation on Clearwater beach. We were looking for a fun relaxing evening. This could not have been more fun. Captain and first mate treated us like royalty. Highly recommend this cruise. I'm going to purchase a cruise for my son and his wife for Christmas.

This was an amazing experience! Booked this a bit last minute for a team outing, and am so pleased with the whole experience. Great, friendly, responsive staff and a beautiful boat. We saw dolphins, had a local guitar player join and got the snacks and bar option. Could not ask for better and it's affordable too!

The Kai Lani Catamaran captain and crew were fantastic! I booked a private charter for a social occasion and we were not disappointed. The crew took care of us and we enjoyed every minute of cruising the inland waterway and Gulf.

I'm sure there are other fun tours in Clearwater, but Kai Lani was amazing. I was so overwhelmed with this being my first vacation since covid. This was the best way to wind down and enjoy a sunset. Great hosts, good music, fun vibes. My mom's side of the family is from Oahu and it took me right back there. I will be back

This is absolutely a great visit. The boat is exceptional and the crew is even more outstanding! Be sure to venture on this excursion as it is well worth it. Great time on Sundays as they also have live music while sailing!! During your adventure, don't be surprised to see dolphins or a manatee.

This is a wonderful sunset cruise out of the Clearwater beach marina. The staff, Desi and Brad are smart, helpful and fun. All you have to do is sit back relax and enjoy the views with a drink. (Cash bar)

This was by far the loveliest sunset we had ever experienced. My husband and I decided to book the evening sunset 2 hour cruise. So glad we did! The captain and crew were interactive with boat guests, and even offered to take the most amazing pictures of us capturing the sunset. We enjoyed refreshing crisp beers on tap. They also offered wine and sangria. They played entertaining music ranging from bob Marley to Maroon 5. A bigger sail boat is in the works so keep an eye out for that coming soon! The best way to end our trip in Clearwater Beach.

This was such a great experience! The staff were very professional and kind. The boat was beautiful and we took the sunset cruise which just made it all the more beautiful! We saw tons of dolphins as well which was incredible! Can't wait to go back and do it again next year!

This was one of my wife's highlights from our Clearwater trip. The boat is very clean and comfortable. We did the sunset tour which was an excellent time. Be prepared that there's is a likelihood of getting wet if you are up front and even in some of the seated areas once you get out into the gulf. Bring a towel and don't wear anything your wouldn't want getting wet or that may be see through ;). The music is nice and adds a nice ambience. They serve drinks from tap beer, canned vodka seltzer to wine and sangria. I don't know the prices but it's vacation at Clearwater so.... The captain was cool, the first mate was a solid dude and the bartender is a spunky hottie that the single guys and gals will enjoy. She does a great job at keeping everyone taken care of having a great time. This is a great photo op and is a nice opportunity to chill and take in some of Clearwater's beauty. The boat does have a restroom but is a marine toilet so just prepare yourself, you'll have to go down and back up a latter to use it and for those unfamiliar with sailing it may be a bit daunting and "different". Overall we loved it and my wife wanted to immediately book the next night. Enjoy!!! Thanks to the captain and crew!

This was a sensational sunset trip. The catamaran was in excellent shape. The captain and first mate were terrific hosts. Other travelers were were very personal too. Overall an amazing adventure ... if you're in Clearwater and want a sunset cruise this is the one you want to book.

I have utilized this service on two different occasions and both were extremely amazing. My friends and i book a cruise on my birthday last year. Desi and Brad were so accommodating and friendly! I recently booked their sunset cruise and yet again was very impressed by Captain Mike, Desi and Brad's service to the patrons onboard! The sunset cruise is remarkable and gives you glimpses of the gulf that are unimaginable! I would remember this company over and over and over! Rather for a birthday event or a romantic evening! Also be sure to try Desi & Brad's specialty cocktails!

Cruise was fantastic. Captain Mike and Brad and Jada made the cruise so enjoyable, can't wait to go again. It's already booked. Live music just adds to the experience. Great value for the price.

I would highly recommend this to those looking for something a little less touristy. Being on a catamaran versus one of the tourist boats allows you a lot more opportunity to feel like you're really on the ocean sailing. The staff was fantastic and Captain Mike was great. This will be a regular thing we do each time we come to Clearwater. Well worth your time and money.

I booked my sunset cruise in advance. The weather seemed a little weary but we only had some rain drop and the sunset was gorgeous! The parking pass is $6 and I was a little unsure how the parking would be but there were plenty of spots open right in front of the dock. There is a building nearby in case you need to grab some snacks, drinks or use the restroom. We had about 15 on our trip. There was plenty of room to walk around. We started off sitting in the back by the captain. Then we moved to the front by the nets. Beer, wine and sangria are available for purchase on the ride. Captain Mike and Brad were great guys! They both chatted with everyone and answered any questions anyone had. I definitely recommend this if you are in the area. It's cheap and you can't beat the view!!

What a wonderful trip!! Capt Mike and Lindsay were absolute perfection! The boat was super clean and the beers were cold! One of the best sunsets you could ask for! $45 is under priced for the experience!

Manager Brad struggled to communicate throughout entire process. We called and emailed to confirm details(food/drink/music) leading up to event, left multiple messages with no return calls. Manager Brad or Desiree would eventually answer a call and confirm. We reminded them to send the charter agreement, received multiple copies filled with multiple errors. Reservation visible on website confirming "Morning 2 Hour Private Sailing Adventure." We reconfirmed our sail for a wedding party of 20 people with Desiree 24hr before event. Day of event, Captain and Crew DID NOT notify us of any cancellation. Day of event, Captain and Crew DID NOT SHOW.

One of the best tours in Florida. On board drinks, professional and friendly crew. Gorgeous sunset and to top it all off we saw dolphins! Highly recommended!

This was so very enjoyable for me and my family! It was a beautiful, perfect sunset sail! Professional, kind, knowledgeable staff. Very clean, relaxing and nice boat. Great selection of music while on board. Compared to all the others we saw along the pier, this was far above the rest!

My friend and I had the best time on this beautiful Catamaran. The sunset was gorgeous and Mike, the captain took us on a beautiful ride. Brad was great at getting us our drinks and making sure we were taken care of. Next time I'm back, I'll definitely do this again! Don't miss this if you are visiting.

Fireworks were beautiful from boat. Captain and crew could have been friendlier . Perhaps they were just tired but not much effort was put forth in talking to guests. Only the young lady showed any enthusiasm and seemed customer service oriented.

I guess I should have taken the description on your website  lay back and relax literally, because I expected some sort of excitement, I could have taken my pontoon boat out and had more thrill.  The host of the boat never communicated with us anything about where we were going, why they thought we were not able to see a hint of a dolphin (the very reason we took the tour - even tough your site clearly states we would rarely be disappointed) He could have shared some info about Clearwater Beach, or the Catamaran, or dolphins in general, but that would have meant they would have had to turn down the music that was absolutely horrible.  It was not a variety of music; it was a techno music - totally inappropriate for a ride on the beach shore.  I would have jumped off if I didn't have my 80 year old mother on the boat simply to add some excitement.

My boyfriend & I recently visited Clearwater Beach & wanted to do a sunset cruise for his birthday, after some research I came across Kai Lani & we are so happy we chose this cruise. The catamaran is spacious, the music was good, the captain & crew were fantastic. Even though we hit a little rain on the boat, the crew was still able to get us to a good spot & we were still able to see a beautiful sunset. We will definitely be back next year!!

Our group took a sunset cruise on the beautiful Kai Lani Catamaran. Wow! Captain Mike and Brad took great care of us. The weather was perfect, the bar was open and the sunset was phenomenal! The music was very appropriate for sailing, sunsets and fun. Would highly recommend this sunset cruise to tourists and locals for a great experience.
