New Associated Vintners Wine Bar Will Change Its Theme Every Season | Eater Seattle

Pricey yes but the portions are good and it's convenient being on site of the hotel. Our server Dana was very sweet and helpful. I tried the Acai Bowl and my husband got the eggs, potatoes and sausage. Everything tasted fresh and came out very quickly. We went there about a half hour before closing and it was fairly empty. So if you are looking to avoid the rush and crowds, around 9:30 to10am is a good time.

Came around 6:30am for breakfast (since we were up from jet lag). Prices are a little high but I feel like that’s to be expected in Hawaii. Service was good. I got uber waffles ($30) & my husband got local style beef hash (or something along those lines. $28).

Hard pass. The *only* reason to go here is if you Bonvoy Platinum or better, because then you get a complementary continental breakfast. If you do come here, you'll notice there is almost never a wait and the place is never full. Because.... you generally only make the mistake of coming here once. Lets start off at the top. It's EXPENSIVE. You are already paying close to $500/night to stay here (at the bottom end) and they cannot provide any breakfast included? Ok, but then your run of the mill "bacon and eggs" (the "american breakfast" which is 3 eggs, your choice of meat) breakfast is $30. Oh, but they'll say that also includes a drink, like a $5 black coffee. I'm not coffee expert but it didn't taste like anything special, nor does the menu say it's Kona coffee. So we're talking coffee that makes Starbucks better and cheaper. But here's the thing that really drove me to write this. Beyond the food being expensive and average at best. Today I ordered eggs over easy. I *never* send back food, I'll eat just about anything you give me. But what I ended up with was eggs that has been passed by a fire. The white was almost entire liquid, I should have taken a picture but I was so shocked and forgot. Sent it back and they had the gall to suggest that I didn't know eggs and should order over medium - which I acquiesced to just to get something edible. The result was hard fried, but at least over medium. I'm sorry, if you ONLY do breakfast and it's a $30 breakfast for 3 eggs, 4 slices of sausage and 3 potatoes... you gotta be able to do it right. Also, know what over easy should and shouldn't look like. If it looks like white water, something is seriously wrong. For the $50+/night resort fee, the Sheraton should just make this a place a light continental breakfast that's included for all. Maybe it was better in a pre-COVID hey-day, but now the place looks quiet sad.

Google
This has been the poorest service we’ve experienced in Hawaii so far. Even though we ordered first, our breakfast took over 20 minutes to arrive, and no water was ever served. After the food was brought out, there was no follow-up service at all. Feel very disappointed. Once again, the difference comes down to the server rather than the restaurant itself.

Google
It's great to have breakfast here, right next to the beach and enjoy a delicious breakfast while looking at the sea! I ordered Ube waffle, it was so delicious, they stuffed the crispy waffle with ube cream inside ! $30 Chicken moco also is great but the chicken was too skinny ! $30 Service is friendly .

Google
Great environment, views, and service. Eggs Benedict was very disappointing. $42 for a bland dish with grocery store toast is not worth the visit.

Alexandra A.

Google
As an Ambassador, our continental breakfast was pretty ordinary, but all the servers tried to accommodate our preferences... It'd be unfair to not mention my special girls, Taylor and Trish, who provided the best experience for me at breakfast. All servers were great! I miss them greatly! The view is good...

Google
A wonderful breakfast with incredible views over Waikiki and the Pacific, service is impeccable and the food is amazing. Bacon here is out of this world! UPDATE: Feb 2025, bacon has changed sadly, but the service remains outstanding. UPDATE: Nov 2025, Bev, Cindy, and Gary made our morning breakfast memorable and a delight! New on the menu: Ube Waffles and Cornbread French Bread Pudding!

Yelp
11/7/2025 3.5 I've had breakfast here many times over the years, and it's always a pleasant experience overall. The outdoor dining area offers a beautiful view -- definitely one of the highlights of eating here. The service has consistently been friendly and attentive, and the food is always fresh and well prepared. That said, the portion sizes tend to be on the smaller side, and prices are definitely on the higher end -- though that's somewhat expected given the location in Waikiki. Still, it's a great spot to start the morning if you're looking for a relaxing setting and quality food, just be prepared for premium pricing and modest portions.

Yelp
If and when you are staying at the Sheraton Hotel and you're considering to have warm breakfast because you don't want to walk far or don't know your way around, then line up here. Came here around 7am on a Thursday this month and we were seated quickly. Our server was nice and warm. Coffee was served and hubby had orange juice and cup of milk. My breakfast was the Ube Waffle with fresh berries ($30) and comes with ube cream, maple syrup and a choice of bacon, chicken sausage or portugese sausage. I chose portugese sausage. Waffle is ube flavored, toasty and the ube cream did make it sweet without the maple syrup. Saussage was ok. Husband had American Breakfast ($30) comes iwith 3 eggs any style, choice of bacon, chicken sausage or portugese sausage (he chose bacon) and a small cup of fried potatoes. Not an elite member of Bonvoy so we paid full price and tip. Our next day for breakfast was somewhere else.

Yelp
If simplicity really is the key to complexity, Kai Market capitalizes on this statement tenfold. And that's also why I'm keeping this review minimal as a parallel. Be sure to try the guava juice. Mahalo!
google avatar

Dan G.

Yelp
Kai is a good breakfast spot adjacent to the lobby of the Sheraton Waikīkī. Wait for a patio table to enjoy the view of the ocean and the comfortable trade winds. Servers are very attentive and polite with Aloha spirit. Food is expensive but that goes with the location. Marriott Bonvoy members get a free continental breakfast option and a discount on menu items. I landed with the Koa Moco more than once and happy with the choice. Not so much the brisket Benedict or the potato hash. The line can get long but moves quickly. Overall a good choice to start your day.

Yelp
Kai Market is a breakfast restaurant located in the Sheraton Waikiki. They're open until 10:30am. They have outside and inside seating, both with good views of the pool area and beach. The menu covers pretty much anything you could want for breakfast, and they even have rice available if that's your thing. Everything I've tried here including the omelet, the scrambled eggs, and the eggs benedict has been absolutely delicious. Service was excellent every time we went...super friendly and attentive. Great option for a relaxing breakfast and super convenient if you're staying at the Sheraton Waikiki. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
google avatar

Ann Y.

Yelp
Staff friendly, welcoming and still sat us down even at 10:15am, they were closing at 10:30. Breakfast upgrade from free breakfast for elite bonvoy status is only $13-17. Worth the upgrade as the free continental is only 2 small pastries, small yoplait yogurt, a little granola and a bowl of fruit...NOT satisfying, way too sweet, and with minimal protein.
google avatar

Yelp
You can be paying for 5 star executive level suite but this restaurant is a stark reminder it's still a 3 star hotel. The table setup is subpar, food is meh with egg benedict being unorthodox in an unpleasant way, and I'm not sure how they run out of white toast by 8am. The coffee is really bland as well when every other coffee shop in the area is brewing amazing coffee. I will saw the wait staff service is good, hostess is efficient but unremarkable. I guess I will continue to stay here for the suite and view but dine else where.

Yelp
I had the omelette which came with onions, tomatoes and mushrooms inside it, as well as melted cheese on top. The ketchup I added after. Along with orange juice and breakfast potatoes. Overall the food was great and a solid way to start the day The staff were all very nice and our server was prompt. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to be delivered. The open air patio/seating area is very nice with a great view of the ocean. Right next to the pool. Would be 4 starts but was a little overpriced, otherwise great!

Yelp
We had breakfast here every day because we were staying at the Sheraton and had the free Bonvoy continental breakfast. The views of the of the ocean are beautiful. The basic breakfast had 2 highlights: yogurt with mango puree and the fresh half papaya. The last day, I upgraded to the Moa Moco - a fried chicken loco moco. The fried chicken breast hit the spot, and it comes with 2 over easy eggs. If you're staying here, it's convenient to come down (if you have bonvoy, you should do the upgrade from the basic breakfast...). That said, there are lot of food options nearby in Waikiki.

Yelp
Great place for breakfast..if you can afford it. Lol. LOCATION & DECOR:  Great place to eat with outdoor seating. Lots of natural light and a modernish feel FOOD & DRINK:  -Denver style omelette was as good as any. I wish restaurants and knew how to season eggs though.. -Thick cut Bacon on the side -crisp French toast-not soggy -3 eggs over medium cooked to perfection. Gooey Yolk -seasonal fruit was fresh -House coffee was pretty good actually STAFF & EXPERIENCE:  Service here was as good as any. Nice clean place and friendly staff. We were never without a full cup of coffee or glass of juice and water. Definitely chose this place based on the location, but I'm sure I could find something for half the cost and just as good.

Lisa B.

Yelp
Service is so so. Some days you get an attentive person others ine who ignores you and acts like they doing you a favor to pour you some coffee. Today I woukd say the serve was absolutely terrible. Waiter stood there didnt come over for like 4 minutes. Bought food never came back. Went to other table to ask if they needed anything not ours.

Yelp
Kai Market is the Sheraton Marriott's breakfast spot. It overlooks the water which is very nice. The complementary breakfast for Marriott platinum elite members includes yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, a croissant and a croissant pastry. You can also order coffee and juice. Plenty of seating inside and out. Very attentive and quick. If you want to order more food, you can upgrade for an additional charge.

Michelle G.

Yelp
My husband and I both got the truffle omelet which was the only option and it made us feel nauseous for hours. Whatever oil they used is probably to blame. Or how much. It tasted fine but didn't go away for a day.

Yelp
The so-so sit-down breakfast restaurant at the Sheraton Waikiki. As a lifetime Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member, I received a voucher for free breakfast each day of our stay. The free breakfast was the most pathetic complimentary breakfast for Bonvoy elites of any Sheraton/Marriott affiliate I've encountered in a hotel at this price point. It consisted of coffee, Yoplait yogurt, a tiny ration of musli, toast, a ration of fruit (some good, some should have been tossed out), and carbs (store bought and stale croissant and pastry). A truly pathetic breakfast. The first day of our stay the service:was abysmal. For example, our waiter didn't want to give us the option of white or wheat toast. Our waiter served our breakfast without giving us utensils. Our waiter refused to acknowledge our request for more coffee and ignored us. For the next few days, service improved. On our last day we had an early flight to catch, and the restaurant was not open at 6:00 a.m. Ambiance: open air near the ocean, nice setting for breakfast Overall cleanliness: above average

JlJoJo L.

Yelp
It's ok. We went there for breakfast. Food wasn't exceptional, but it was good. Staff was friendly. There were birds flying around and stuff, which I enjoyed somewhat. I kept thinking that they were gonna steal my food.
google avatar

Chelle S.

Yelp
Overpriced last choice that takes equally as long as everywhere else. Pet peeve: creamer pods Pet peeve: packaged pastries Pet peeve: yoplait yogurt Seriously? If I wanted to eat this for breakfast, I'd go to the local convenience store.
google avatar

Laurent L.

Yelp
This isn't a place we would've naturally chosen to go to, but we had hotel credit we needed to burn. Being it was our last day and we had $60 left of credit, why not order 1 omelet and 1 french toast for $60. Yup, you read that right - eggs and bread for $60. I know there was an egg shortage but yikes. We ordered the Works Omelet and French Toast for almost $60. Definitely would not pay for that. Both easily replicable at home in a regular kitchen. But alas what can you do? They tasted fine. Omelet came with bacon and potatoes. French toast came with guava syrup, butter and cream, and berries. Would I come here by choice? No. Would I come here to burn credit? Only if my check out time is early and I can't go to Rumfire instead to burn credit.

Yelp
We came for the complimentary continental breakfast through Marriott Bonvoy You are able to upgrade your selection for a bit extra. We got the American Breakfast and the Works omelet. Both were typical and as expected. The shining stars of this experience are the hostess and the waiter. With a beautiful smile and genuine conversation starters, our hostess sat us and stayed for a bit to make small talk. Our waiter, Kan... we remember him from out last stay about six months ago... quick, attentive, with an eye for your needs. He is personable and offers what everyone comes to Hawaii to experience as the Aloha Spirit. We have one more breakfast here tomorrow and we hope to sit in his section again. Mahalo nui.

Yelp
Came here with my family on Monday ... we were treated like we weren't wanted and we left before we could order! Which takes a lot for us to do. We are super kind and easy going people, most of our group didn't speak English. We didn't know how the seating worked but as soon as we realized we needed to wait in a line we went in the line and waited however this was after multiple employees were yelling at us to get in line causing a total scene. Yelling in my uncles face to talk to the host even though we were already walking away.. the entire restaurant didn't need to be involved shouting over people. We asked for a high chair and then we were ignored sitting at our table holding the baby with no help... Everything happens for a reason because we ended up at Dukes for $25 buffet brunch where the people treated us way nicer and we ended the meal much happier than how it started! Very disappointed in Sheraton... won't be coming here OR staying here again.

Yelp
Food: 4 Service: 4 Location: 4 (Beautiful Beach Seat) Price: $$$$ (Very Expensive) If you are going to eat here, I recommend. Potatoes (It must be local, very good) Bacon (Not salty and excellent) Sausage (Not salty and excellent) Blueberry Milk Pancake (Must have)

Yelp
When I stayed at the hotel in early April, Kai Market was only open for breakfast. It primarily caters to "elite" Marriott members who get free breakfast with their stays - they get free continental breakfast or a discount on the other breakfast options. Most of the people we saw dining there were using their free breakfast vouchers. Most days we got the free continental breakfast which consisted of a croissant, another breakfast pastry (sometimes a muffin), fruit salad (one day, it was a papaya!), yogurt, granola, juice and coffee. The retail price for this was ~$25 (and is pricey for what you get) but was included with our stay. You can also get these quickly for takeout outside. On our last day, we got the American Breakfast which was much pricier but much more filling since it includes breakfast meat, eggs, potatoes, etc. The food is solid but definitely not a destination - much more for convenience.

Yelp
Simple continental breakfast for loyalty members. Yoplait yogurt, room temperature pastries but generous portion of fruit. Lovely view. Right in the water. Relaxed service. Don't be in a hurry.

Yelp
I give this place 1 stars for the free Elite breakfast but the coffee is good. 2/3 stars for service, so many unhappy employees. 3/4 stars for other menu items looked at from other tables and large portion. This is located in Waikiki Sheraton and where free breakfast is served for Elite members, 6:30-10:30am daily. The views of the water are nice. The line can get quite long if you come around 9:00/9:30 am but it does move very quickly so don't worry just be patient. Some employees are more friendly and attentive than others. The free breakfast for Elite members is carb heavy and shockingly very minimal. The coffee is very delicious. For up charge of $15 and higher you can get eggs or other items. I opted for free, but others went for the heavier breakfast and the omelets are huge, shareable if you wanted to be up charged. For the free breakfast the yogurt was good. The granola is a very tiny portion and heavy on rice crispies. Ask for the whole grain bread because that is the best. On day 3, we asked could we get something other than white or wheat. The wheat is not very good. The employee said yes, whole grain or English muffin. The whole grain was so good with lots of texture. The English muffin was okay. The croissant and other pastries are just okay. The fruit is hit or miss. Most days the fruit was old and dried out. I pretty much came for the coffee and yogurt. I mostly had water adventures, the carbs helped with that.

Yelp
Ambiance - amazing. Fresh ocean breeze keeps the place feeling calm and the view is nice. Tables and decorations are simple but the location alone does it for me. Service - pretty good. They messed up the side for one of our orders but fixed it quickly, food arrived in a timely manner and servers were nice. Prices - way too high. For the amount of food you're getting, the prices are just not justifiable. We got $112 of food, just to feed four people for breakfast. The portions were not exceptionally large to make up for it, nor were they uniquely special to this establishment. Hard to justify. Food - solid. Poached eggs were nice, Although one was overdone. Only other complaint is that the orange juice tasted awful. Other than that I did enjoy my food and so did the rest of the table. Decent experience, value for my money kills it for me, so I wouldn't go again.

Yelp
Located at the Sheraton hotel, walk all the way in towards the beach and it's along the beach. We made reservations for a 7:30pm dinner so we could take our time enjoying and taking pictures of the sunset by the pool before having dinner. Regular price is $62, but they offer 25% discount to kamaainas, which comes out to about $47 plus tax. Prime rib - 4 stars they cut thin slices of prime rib. Not the best, but pretty good. Snow crab legs - 3 1/2 stars - nice and warm, but it was too salty and the meat stuck to the shell so it wouldn't come out in full. Sashimi - 4 stars - very fresh, better than the poke. Make it worth the price. I really liked the fried prawns, and the other items were special made. I also liked the broccoli. Bread pudding - 5 stars - the best of all the desserts offered. They had a variety of cakes and mochi which were delicious as well. Service - 4 stars - we had to wait a while before our drinks came, but after, our waiter was friendly and our drinks were filled. They even reminded us if we wanted to get more food before the buffet closes. What makes it a nice and relaxing dinner is the live singers and being next to the beach. Love the ambiance here even if it's crowded and smaller tables to eat on. Validated parking in the back right for 4 hours. Make sure you turn to the parking lot with the sign Sheraton hanging on the top because it can be easily confused with the royal hawaiian parking.

Yelp
We stayed at the Sheraton for a week and had breakfast here three times. All I can say is , I never trust many of the negative reviews because some of these people just had " their" bad experience and it has nothing to do with the restaurant. The Bonvoy people are just way to picky and their reviews have ZERO credibility. First of all , every staffer at this restaurant was polite, congenial and very jovial. The three waiters that served us were very friendly , quick and it was all sincere. The service all and all was very good. Second: Atmosphere. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. The views of Waikiki are magnificent and the aura of this place is very nice especially for breakfast in the morning. The breakfast cuisine was pretty good but I would give it 5 star especially for the high price. I had the omelette, eggs Benedict and the orange French toast. All were very good with no complaints We are in Hawaii in Waikiki beach! We will take this nice breakfast venue any day of the week conveniently located in our hotel with the unbelievable atmosphere.

Yelp
Kai market is a restaurant in Sheraton. We had breakfast at this restaurant for entire trip. This has indoor+ outdoor seating. Indoor seating is as good as outdoor as this has huge glass sliding doors that gives outdoor effect to everything. Views are breathtaking. It's oceanfront overlooking Waikiki beach. Food was decent. Omelette was really good. They can have much better options in continental option. Currently they had standard chilly regular fruits, sugary yogurt, granola mix with chopped nuts and server had no clue what nuts are in. Coffee was served and refilled cold. I am allergic and had to leave it as no idea what nuts they were using. Servers were very elderly and very sweet and friendly. I am giving 4 star as the views were stunning and the servers were super friendly.
google avatar

Zach B.

Yelp
Not bad, but you can do better for the price. The waffles were okay here, and the service was fine, but very expensive for a menu a lot like a continental breakfast.
google avatar

Julie U.

Yelp
We came here for Breakfast buffet on Christmas Eve day and thought it would be crowded so came early but got in right away which was good. We had a party of 7 and called but they said they did not take reservations. Buffet had an omelette station and salads lots of fruit, miso soup, lots of pastries and fruit juices. The food was good though nothing really exceptional. Omelette was very good though. What was exceptional was the service and the view. Service was quick to refill coffee water and pick up dirty dishes. The view stretched from Diamond Head and we could watch surfers as we ate. Another perk is the Kamaaina discount for all of us plus 4 hours validated parking so after we ate we walked around Waikiki. Also came to the dinner buffet about 3 months ago and they had crab legs although my favorite was the poke.

G C.

Yelp
Nice food and it is good and stuff. When it is busy, it can be slower. It looks good but line is long
google avatar

Roxy W.

Yelp
This is an indoor restaurant with outdoor seating at the Sheraton in Waikiki. If you sit outdoors, you'll get a beautiful view of the infinity pool and Waikiki beach. You can self park or valet. Don't forget to get your ticket validated. Parking is free! The buffet was nicely laid out against the wall and spaced out so it did not feel crowded. There were many food options to choose from. There were salads, sushi/poke, local entrees such as shoyu chicken, shrimp, crab legs, prime rib and an a abundance of desserts. My favorite food from the dinner buffet has to be the fried shrimp. It had so much flavor! I highly recommend this dinner buffet. They do offer a Kama'aina Kids discount of 25% off if you have a Hawai'i ID.

Yelp
Decided to stop by for breakfast on our fourth day here at the Sheraton. Kai market has outrageous prices but of course it's a tourist destination so what do you expect. Although the prices were crazy high like this damn inflation the food was very delicious. The omelet and potatoes were perfectly seasoned and the Portuguese sausage was amazing. Would probably prefer Portuguese sausage rather than the good ole fashioned American sausage link. The French Toast with guava sauce was outstandingly delicious. The guava sauce was so good I had to ask for extra. Not pictured : American Breakfast and a cup of Orange Juice American Breakfast $30 The works omelet $31 French Toast $29 Juice $7.50 Our bill came out to $94.24 not including gratuity for just us two. Overall the breakfast was delicious, It's hard to say if I'd go back or not. That French toast was too damn good. But for $94 that's crazy. You can do so much with $94 with all the different activities that Waikiki has to offer.

Yelp
I told my husband that a breakfast buffet was on my list for this trip and thankfully Kai was in the hotel we stayed at. The continental breakfast was $35 per person and the options included fruit cups, cantelope, yogurt and granola, croissants, bread pudding, cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, quiche, and sausage links. Oh and a juice of your choice between orange, guava, and pineapple. That bread pudding was delicous and the coffee was tasty!! Everything else was meh. Was a little disappointed with the temp of the eggs and sausage. Thankfully our sever was incredibly warm and friendly. I wish I remembered his name. The stars are for the coffee, bread pudding, service, and view. I feel like the food has potential but if we go back we'll skip the buffet.

Yelp
Ki Market is located in the Sheraton Waikiki right on the beach. Very nice decor. Had reservations but the place was only 1/2 full on a Friday night. Little surprising as we've come before and it was packed. Hostess took us to our table then we headed straight to the buffet. To the crab legs and prime rib of course. Passed some good local and international entrees like hull-huli chicken and seafood paella. The crab legs were disappointing. Dried out and some were to pliable to use crackers so just tore it open. 2* for the crab. But the prime rib made up for it. Not too salty like most buffets, juicy and flavorful. The meat carver dude was real nice. Noodles and paella were just OK. Good flavor but not much seafood. Mashed potatoes were excellent. Sushi OK. Desserts were good. Like most buffets, hit or miss on the food. So only 3* for the food, Good Kama'aina discount, great service, beautiful setting and the 4 hour valet parking bump it up to 4*.

Yelp
Classic breakfast food, very professional considerate staff, poolside vibe with ocean views. Bonvoy members special pricing a total plus...

Charlie K.

Yelp
As a Marriott Platinum member at the Sheraton Waikiki, we receive complimentary continental breakfast every morning or our stay. The breakfast has been okay at best, with a very limited spread that consists of pastries, yogurt, fruits and a main dish / side. Our servers have been hit or miss, but most have been very friendly and accommodating. There are other restaurants in the area that are preferred, the only benefit here is convenience. Best, Charlie

Yelp
The eggs in the Vegetarian Eggs Benedict could have been prettier, but it tasted good and the view was gorgeous. Very relaxing and delicious breakfast today!

Yelp
So Kai Market used to be amazing! However I hadn't been there for over 5 years. I finally returned there this past Saturday night and while the ambiance and location are still beautiful the luster that once was has dulled. The servers were pleasant and did a great job making us feeling welcomed and pampered, but for the price it was expected. The food and upkeep seemed to have changed from what I recalled on my last visit. I'm a big fan of poke and sashimi and expected it to be fresh and delicious, but I was let down. Being a buffet I figured I could find something else good to eat. So I tried the baked fish, Lau Lau and crab. Unfortunately everything tasted dry as if it had been sitting all day and over cooked. There was one last hope, the dessert bar. I really like a simple soft serve, but that was a huge let down. They had two machines that can churn out 6 different varieties, yet only 1 of the 6 had levers to let out soft serve. I asked the server and he just said they only had chocolate left. For $60 a head, that was just unacceptable. I hope our night was an exception, otherwise I feel horrible for the tourist trying local food for the first time is nothing special or even disappointing.

Yelp
Located just side by side of The Edge of Waikiki. It's indoors but still the large windows open into doors and the ocean breeze is wonderful in the morning. We ordered the Works Omelette and the Vegetarian Eggs Benedict with a side of bacon. The omelette was super fluffy, soft, and nicely made with the tender veggies and cheese in the omelette. The bacons is crispy and thick, it's peppery and sweet at the same time. Super seasoned, not your plain thin bacon kinda deal. The breakfast potatoes were perfect. Crisp outside, soft tender inside, seasoned with a lightly spicy seasoning. The Vegetarian Eggs Benedict was perfect. I wanted to have all the veggies and still have my bacon ahahha. But it was worth it. The avocados were thickly sliced, so no such thing as skimping here. The hollandaise sauce was creamy, lightly tart, the muffin was soft but had a nice crust to it. It was a perfect pair with everything else being soft. Overall it was a good place to eat. But I didn't give it full ratings because I feel the taste and dishes can be made anywhere. Rather than having any touch of the tropics.

Yelp
It's one of those times, again, when I can't believe I didn't write a review. Within the last two years we've been and have come back more than a dozen times. It's not the best but it's worth the money. If you're a Kama'aina (local) you can get a 25% discount. They will validate your parking for four hours. We even brought the family for Christmas 2017. There is a lot to choose from. BUT I eat raid the southern crab legs. At least 5 pounds I figure with copious amounts of garlic butter. Then I whack the sashimi. Then pound more crab and finish up with prime rib smothered in that garlic butter. Nice desserts but they hit rid of the ice cream dispenser because it was failing. They used to serve melona and vanilla. It has become our monthly to do restaurant.

Yelp
We stay at the Sheraton waikiki once every year. We like the hotel and always enjoyed breakfast here as well. Unfortunately, this changed this year with a change in chefs. So sad was really good before. One example was changing the honey glazed bacon for the regular bacon you can get anywhere. The atmosphere is still pleasant. The price is high and that would be fine if the food met my high expectations. Which it did as recently as last year but not anymore! They should get the old chef to come back!!

Yelp
Ronnie is the best server ever (that I met) here in Hawaii. He's Filipino. And very kind and friendly. We had breakfast here during our stay at Sheraton. The eggs Benedict and omelette is bomb. The continental breakfast is alright not the best though. Coffee is not strong, I'd tiger get a coffee at McDonald's or Starbucks. But overall 5 starts for the food and Ronnie, and mostly the Filipino servers, they will greet us and chitchat with a smile. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Yelp
Breakfast buffet on the beach at Waikiki... beautiful, natural, open air ambiance... ahhh! Service was "local style" (casual) from "uncle", so we gave him a break. Food was quite good for breakfast- I enjoyed the variety! We had a choice of: Crispy bacon - yes! Bread pudding - yum! Omelette station - fun! Congee with various toppings - good! Fresh fruit - great! Asparagus with garlic - tasty! Eggs Florentine - okay! Melona soft serve - cup and/or cone - nom nom! Pancakes - alright! Sausage - not bad! Taro lavosh - like!! Cheese platter - ono! Parking: four hours free with validation in the Sheraton Hotel garage. Tip: ask for Kamaaina discount (25 percent)! Thanks to Mel and David for the excellent conversation and company! I look forward to dining with you again!

Yelp
Ah, Ocean Terrace! I mean, Kai Market! I liked the original name! I've been to the Kai Market dinner buffet numerous times in the past, but not recently. I guess over 5 years, beyond my Elite years. My family has always treated old classmates or extended family members who are visiting Hawaii the first time to the dinner buffet here because of the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful ocean views, especially during the sunset where you really can see the green flash on certain days (that means someone came back from Davy Jones' locker!). As for the food, it's decent. There's a good amount of selections at the cold station with ahi poke, sashimi, sushi, salad, and etc. Dessert is pretty standard including an ice cream machine. The hot items serves prime rib and crab legs as it's highlights. Most of the items are seafood, and maybe half of the dishes are Chinese style, such as roast pork, fried rice, Chinese vegetables, soy salmon, salt pepper shrimp, and etc. Overall, not bad, not great, but definitely acceptable and worth it if you're Kama'aina because you get 25% off!! I just went to try the breakfast buffet. It's $36/person. I luckily got an outside table that was right next to the ocean. Perfect setting! As for the food goes, it was pretty basic. There's an omelet and eggs Benedict stations. The food was the typical sausages, pancake, scrambled eggs, tater tots, bacon, assorted breads, bread pudding, cereals, and etc. There was also Miso Soup, Congee, Japanese Curry, Rice, and Soba Noodles with a nice selection of toppings (natto included!). Plus, cold cuts and brie cheese, and asserted fruit. Overall, all the food was good. Everything was pretty much premade and ready to be cooked, so you really can't go wrong, right? For some of the needing to prepare a little were good too, such as the omelet and saba. The congee had a weird consistency like corn starch was added to thicken the soup. The service was good. Our server was friendly and attentive. Always kept my Coffee filled and took our finished plates away. Not a bad deal for a breakfast buffet with the Kama'aina discount. The views are amazing and you can't beat the atmosphere.

Yelp
Should've wrote this a long time ago but I had my parents 50th wedding anniversary here and it was just great!!! Food at the buffet was good and the guests loved it!! The planning was so simple and easy!! I was able to bring in a special cake and centerpieces as well as party favor which I had special made!! Each guest was able to do valet parking which came in handy for the elderly guests. I love these kinda parties because there's little to no settting up and no break down and clean up!!! Seafood buffet night is the night I had planned this for!!! Thank you Kai Market for making this a memorable event!!

Yelp
This place used to offer an expansive breakfast buffet but they closed it down so bonvoy "elite"members now receive a laughable complimentary daily continental breakfast which includes yoplait yogurt, granola, and some pastries. I opted to upgrade to an omelet which would cost $16 instead of $30. The food was subpar and the service was horrible. It's convenient if you're staying at the hotel and you get a nice view depending on where you sit but I threw away the breakfast coupons after the first day and have decided to go elsewhere for much better quality breakfast and happier vibes from servers.

Yelp
Everyone enjoyed the food and service here. Kamaaina - 25 percent off...even better. We came on Thursday night and the special was ox tail soup. Delish. The prime rib was sliced nice and thin. You have to ask the carver for the sea bass next to the prime rib. The fish was also good. Everything seemed fresh and what I had was very good. I always like lavosh. The salad bar had poke and the small cakes were tasty and small enough to sample a few. The various mochi was a surprise. I was informed the selection changes and the Friday and Saturday dinner might be higher in price because of the added seafood. So one might want to call ahead and check what is the selection for that night. We sat outside and could hear the night time entertainment by the pool bar.

Yelp
I love what Foodland is doing by using farm fresh produce for their restaurant. I had a business meeting there, and it had the perfect ambiance. The waiter exhibited a high level of customer service and made recommendations when I asked about their menu.

Yelp
Kai Market was closed down. Sheraton food reservationist said she didn't know when they would reopen Disappointing, was great family buffet for birthdays.
