Kaithong Original at Muang Thong Thani

Kaithong Original I’ve been to Kaithong Original at Muang Thong Thani a few times, and it’s one of those Thai–Chinese restaurants you can rely on. The food quality is consistently good, with clean, well-balanced flavors that feel comforting and familiar. My favorite dish here is the garlic fried liver. It’s incredibly soft and tender, cooked just right, with a fragrant garlic aroma and well-seasoned flavor honestly, one of the best versions I’ve had. The menu is quite large overall, which makes it great for ordering several dishes to share. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for a relaxed meal with friends or family. Service is generally fine, though it can slow down during busy hours. Prices are slightly on the higher side compared to typical Thai–Chinese places, but for the quality and consistency, I think it’s worth it.

Delicious Thai fine dining with a modern, more refined and nicely presented. Service was really good too, friendly and attentive.

We went to the restaurant with reservation at 11am but the menu were very limited to order, ex. There’s no pork liver on that day! We ordered chicken liver but not that good and cannot finish at last. Thai tea bingsu was great but extremely expensive. Overall was just overpriced. Quite surprised that so many ppl still come and the seats are quite full.

I have been here twice, the food were good, especially fish kraphong preaw-wan menu, I also love the coffee O-lieang, the taste with bubble was super good, please do try if you like or bubble milk tea famous one, another one I like drink menu was honey lemon with some kind of white bubble. Kids friendly. Staff’s dresses are so lovely and appropriated, but there is a room to improve of well-training them for customer services level to excellent.

Ordered five dishes and all of them are really good.The ingredients quality deliver exceptional food taste. Dishes with stir fried garlic is my favorite. Even vegetarian food (pan fried tofu with mushrooms) is also very delicious. More expensive than any other regular meals but tasty and worth it.

Had the opportunity to try this awesome place. The food is top notch quality and taste great. Great service. Is like having a home cook comfort food with a luxury twist. The foie Gras is to highly recommended.

Food was good. I order what’s not highlight today because they ran out of highlight menus and surprisingly it tasted better than when we usually ordered the recommended ones. Green curry was super delicious and the fried noodle was better than the famous Rad-na. Service was terrible and waited too long for the food to arrive.

** Notice the branch will be close for a much needed renovation on April 22, 2024 Really one of the best thai-chinese food. Crispy Pork (Jee Pa), giant drumstick, Lard Na Moo, are some of my favorites.
