Some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve had. The food is layered with authentic flavors and you can tell a level of care and attention to detail was put into every dish. Top tier. The restaurant was nice and clean and I had great service. I will be back.

Had a quick stop in Tulsa to satisfy my Vietnamese food craving. It was fast, delicious, and I really enjoyed it! The service was excellent — everyone was so friendly and welcoming😋

We have ate here many times. We have events at the convention center that is a 3 minute walk away. Excellent food. Small bar to decompress at. Great staff. It's great to get to go and bring back to the convention center. Excellent noodle and rice dishes. Garlic chicken wings are incredible too. Took pictures when we brought it back to a competition at the convention center.

Chicken pho and chicken and broccoli. Both bland. So disappointed. HOWEVER, both dishes were to go and by the time we ate them, they were still hot! Once I entered, it took about 3 mins fir someone to approach the podium and ask if Ive been helped. After that, the service was better. The atmosphere was lovely. Just really hoped the food had been better :(

What an amazing little place for dinner! Celebrated my husband’s birthday with calamari, spring rolls and dumplings. We had the house mojitos. Our server was polite, friendly and attentive and even brought my husband dessert. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

I never tried a Vietnamese good and for the first time I really liked it. The portions are very large and the prices are so reasonable. Everything was fresh and tasty. Love this place. My favorite food here is Bun Cha Gio

We had a business lunch for six and were seated quickly thanks to a call-ahead (highly recommend—this place is popular for a reason). The food was absolutely delicious. We shared a variety of appetizers—Vietnamese Egg Rolls, Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls, Grilled Pork Spring Rolls, and Crab Rangoons—and every single one was bursting with fresh flavor and perfect texture. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp Banh Mi, and it was incredible. The bread was perfectly crusty, the shrimp grilled just right, and the veggies fresh and flavorful. The fish sauce tied it all together beautifully. Our server, T, was fantastic—quick, efficient, and very friendly. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal, and we’ll definitely be back. If you’re in downtown Tulsa, Kai is a must-visit for incredible Vietnamese food and excellent service. Just call ahead to avoid the wait!

One of the best bowls of pho I’ve ever had. And I consider myself a pho connoisseur since it has fast become my favorite food. The broth was very good and they gave a solid amount of meat. Rare win for a pho restaurant (most others skimp out and leave you upset). The brisket was the highlight in the dish. Absolutely incredible. I left absolutely full and satisfied. Next time I come to Tulsa I will definitely hit up this spot again. Excellent service, all the servers were very attentive and friendly. I thought about leaving a bad review to keep customers away 😈😂 because it was so packed… but after eating there it makes sense why this restaurant is so popular.

We had a fantastic business lunch at Kai, and it absolutely hit the mark. Our group of six was seated quickly thanks to a call-ahead from our host (pro tip: this place stays busy--plan ahead!). The food was the real star. We started with a spread of appetizers that were out-of-this-world delicious: Vietnamese Egg Rolls, Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls, Grilled Pork Spring Rolls, and Crab Rangoons. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared--crisp textures, bold flavors, and that signature Vietnamese balance of savory, sweet, and tangy. I'm a huge fan of Vietnamese cuisine, and while I usually go for Pho or a Vermicelli bowl, the warm weather had me leaning toward something lighter. The Grilled Shrimp Banh Mi was perfect--crusty yet soft bread, succulent shrimp, fresh herbs, and veggies. The touch of fish sauce brought it all together. Absolutely exquisite. Service was also top-tier. Our server, T, was fast, attentive, and super friendly. So good, in fact, I made sure to get his name before we left. Everyone at our table loved what they ordered, and I left already thinking about my next visit. This place is a must if you're in downtown Tulsa. Just make sure to call ahead--your taste buds will thank you!

Was there on a Saturday night at 7pm. It was fairly busy and to avoid having to wait, I chose to sit at the counter. Server was quick to acknowledge me and bring me a drink. I ordered the Meatball Pho (D2). Took about 15 mins to arrive and was piping hot. Unfortunately, the meatballs were burned beyond recognition. Once I brought that to the server's attention, they were very quick to get them replaced. Unfortunately. Those were also overcooked and dry. However, the server was very helpful and offered another egg roll instead. The server really went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. Will definitely be back again.

Was craving Vietnamese food while we were in Tulsa, so we wanted to give Kai a try! The restaurant is located in a busy area downtown. We came during lunch time, and it was packed but we were seated quickly. The inside was clean and modern with a nice bar area. We ordered crab rangoons, pho dac biet, and a grilled pork banh mi. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The crab rangoons were so yummy. The wrapper ended up being a bit thick for my liking, but they were filled! My pho also hit the spot. The broth was flavorful, and there was a decent amount of meat and noodles. The banh mi was pretty tasty too with a soft but still crusty baguette, but nothing special to write home about. I do appreciate the shrimp crackers served with them. I would definitely come back!

Three years ago, I first came to Kai and had the wonton noodle. It was good, and I still would recommend it. Three years later, I came back to try the deluxe pho. It was also good. I liked the broth the most: bold, rich, and flavorful. I would like the pho noodles to be a little softer and springier. The deluxe pho only had 3 different types of meat (eye round steak, brisket, and meatball). This is less variety than a typical deluxe or combination pho. The pork & shrimp spring rolls were good. The peanut sauce was amazing. The spring rolls could have been more tightly wrapped. They were loose and toward the end they fell apart. I loved their hot tea. Kai Vietnamese Cuisine is the only Asian restaurant I know in Tulsa that uses tea leaves instead of the tea bags. The hot tea had a richer and slightly bitter real tea taste. Service was excellent. Server took away my finished pho's bowl and plate after my spring rolls order. Kai also has a nice bar, but no one was really sitting in that area. Located in Tulsa downtown so parking was confusing to me. I used the library's free parking and walked over, but I think you can use the 201 building visitor parking.

When I came to Tulsa, I was looking for some good Vietnamese food. Coming for a business trip, I came across this place on local eats to eat in Tulsa, and I knew I had to come here reading all of the good reviews. Came here with a co-worker and we had a great time sharing conversation and enjoying some great Vietnamese food. The wait staff/service was nice and friendly, just be prepared to wait a little bit if the place is super busy. The decoration inside is modern and nicely kept, I really enjoyed dining there! Let's talk about the food. I got the Phu Quoc Wings (A7) and the Flat Rice Noodle. They both had excellent flavors and tasted very good. The portion sizes were amazing and I will definitely be back whenever I go back into town. Will definitely be coming back and bringing more co-workers!

In Tulsa!!! Love it. Kai Vietnamese Restaurant. 1) please was clean. 2) Very busy.... Very! 3) Service was busy...no time for chatting. 4) Pho was good. 5) Shrimp and Springs rolls were okay. Sapporo Can was great! I would return again. I recommend you give them a try. If busy when you go, be very patient.

The dumplings are my favorite! So good with the cooked onions! Love love love! I'm not a huge fan of their chicken. There's a lot of fat meat on pieces in my experience which makes eating the chicken a little tough. Each piece of chicken is also very large so I always end up cutting mine down. Everyone I've gone with always loves their food though so I'd recommend it for sure! The staff is so kind! When you leave the entire restaurant gives such a kind farewell! So the vibes and dumplings alone are enough to keep me coming back! My second time going here I ordered fried rice and dumplings and I was pretty content! I may try shrimp or chicken fried rice next time. Just have to spend some time cutting the chicken up the way I'd want to eat it.

I went here for lunch because I had jury duty and it was very close to the courthouse. I got here at 11 and by 1130 the place was full and there were people waiting to get in. The service was friendly fast and the food was amazing. I see why this is such a popular place. I really enjoyed all of my food. The portions were huge and I can't wait to go back.

There are quality restaurants all through downtown Tulsa but of the few that are in the Western area, Kai proves that quality, not location, is the most important characteristic of any establishment. I visited this restaurant on two occasions (Nov. 2nd, 2022 and Jan. 3rd, 2024) around 1pm and each time I've been impressed with their efficiency and offerings. Located directly across the street from the City court, County court, County library and three hotels, there isn't a shortage of foot traffic and potential customer in the area. But, instead of relying on patrons passing by, Kai captures people's interest and keeps their business through their service, quality of their food and variety of options. Though the restaurant was relatively full, both visits (unannounced with another guest) the service was very attentive as I was seated almost immediately and brought menus and waters soon after. The menu is vast with offerings that range from Vietnamese plates, stir frys, Pho, Appetizers and even desserts! Each time, no matter how indecisive, the server knew when we were ready to order and came promptly, despite the traffic. My first visit I ordered the Brisket Steak Pho and the second time I ordered the Duck Noodle Pho. The food was delivered in within 15mins (or less)! Each came with a sizeable amount of basil cilantro and bean sprouts. I was intrigued at the taste of the (Brisket Steak) broth! I've had pho before in different cities but, instead of a simple/general vegetable palette, Kai's actually had a distinct flavor to it. Additionally, when I had the Duck Noodle, I was beyond impressed at the robust flavor. There was a heaping helping of meat while the vegetables included were well-balanced. The broth was so good that it's necessary to sip it to the bottom of the bowl. On my initial visit, I ordered the passion fruit lemonade and it was to die for! I absolutely had to order it again when I returned and would highly recommend ordering one. Both visits were on a lunch break and I was in-and-out within 1hr. Lickety Split. Overall, Kai is capitalizing on the elements surrounding it and thriving doing so. Though it's easy to miss, it's a treasure in plain sight that's championing the downtown lunch service. Highly recommended as a go-to Asian cuisine or for any casual lunch meet-up.

My first experience with Vietnamese food and it was a great one. At 11:45am it was packed with one open table. The service was friendly and fast and the food was excellent. I will go back!

First time ever eating Vietnamese food ! Enjoyed it a lot ! Will be coming back. The friend that invited me here. Goes to Kai every time he comes to Tulsa.

Visiting from Dallas and highly recommend, better than anything in Dallas . We had pho and the chicken vermicelli bowel. Everything was fresh and fast. I think the sale is a bit overpriced, but will definitely return.

While in downtown Tulsa yesterday I hit up my bro Cody to see if he was free for lunch! It worked out he was and we met up at Kai : Vietnamese Cuisine Tulsa. It was close to the courthouse so easy for me to get to and it's a few blocks away from his work, it worked out perfect!! I had never been in before so I was excited to try a new spot! This did NOT disappoint!!! First, for being in an older building in downtown, it had room to accommodate a good number of folks, at the bar, the outdoor patio or the dining room!! Lots of options!! Our server was apologetic for our wait and did a great job. We didn't really have any waits though. Our drinks were always kept up and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. THE FOOD THOUGH!!!! Nom to the OM NOM!!!! We started with some pork belly bao. Exactly what you'd hope to find with the "sticky" bun, refreshing veg and perfectly cooked pork belly. Epic win!! I had the combo fried rice dish - I got something I could eat with no stress of making a mess on my shirt. Good call for me there AND it was fun to eat with all the proteins they offer being on one plate. My bro Cody got Bun Cha Gio which was straight killer looking!! I'll be getting this myself when I come in next!! Overall a big win and a spot I'm glad to have added to my go to list in Downtown Tulsa!!!

Still delicious...I had Pho, deluxe, momma had duck, and we both loved our dishes...fresh ingredients and rich broth...both our HUGE bowls were empty... Bright warm space, some patio seating, and very friendly wait staff. Every experience we have had here has been great...one of our fave's for sure.

I think when it comes to pho places in Tulsa, there's not a lot of options. Luckily this place fills the spot, and it is comparable to the ones in OKC. Good customer service. They do get busy, but we didn't have to wait long for our orders. Their fried wontons were excellent, though the dipping sauce was quite sweet. I had their deluxe egg noodle soup, and I like that they included the crispy wonton because that is one of my favorite things about this dish. The egg noodle soup is delicious, though the broth is quite sweet. My boyfriend had their Pho Sate, and that was interesting. I don't think we would order it again. Also, the place is very generous with their herbs. Overall, Kai do offer solid and authentic Viet foods.

I've eaten lunch at Kai Vietnamese restaurant twice now and got my pho fix. The pho is very good! And even better is that the service and cleanliness of the restaurant is outstanding! Since the pho is so good!....I'll be having lunch here a lot!

I haven't had a bad item here. The pho, vermicelli, and fried chicken are my go to items. The passion fruit margaritas are AMAZING! Service is always stellar, my only complaint is that I wish they would bring back the Vietnamese crepe, as it's such a delicious dish.

First time trying Kai. All I can say is AUTHENTICITY! My best growing up friend was Vietnamese and this meal take me back to my childhood... definitely a 11 out of 10!

Our son had been at this place....so, when we came to Tulsa....we tried it out. I don't recall having too many Vietnamese food places in the past...other than pho....but hey...this place was really good. And a really casual/pleasant place to dine. Crispy noodle dish: be prepared...the noodles are a very crispy dry texture. The ingredients were very fresh. The sauce was lighter tasting than I'd prefer, but it was still (flavorful) enough. If I ordered again, I'd for sure (ask) for extra sauce...to further cost the crispy noodle. Fried rice: Everything was good in this dish...and a mild dish....that was another very good dish. Wings: great crispy texture to the wings. Whatever the sauce (was) on the wings, it worked. And the bits of garlic...all made a winner appetizer.

I've eaten here a dozen times and it always delivers! Excellent customer service, very prompt and attentive and efficient. Food is delicious every time! Their pho is second-best in Tulsa in my opinion, really good. And I love their spring rolls, their banh mi, their noodle dishes and their sweetened coffee. I eat here once a month, and prices are decent. It's downtown, but street parking is free after 5pm, so I choose dinner here versus lunch.

Amazing service. The waiter recommended some really good dishes. My husband ordered one of the seafood soups. 10 out of 10! Loved the decorations and the smell of the food as soon as you walked in. It's placed in a perfect spot downtown and would definitely be coming back again.

A couple of my Yelp friends said great things about Kai, and they were right. I came up for the Bruce Springsteen concert. They were slammed, but they seemed to do a great job getting everyone seated quickly. My friends had recommended several great sounding dishes, but I didn't want anything too heavy. The three bao combo was perfect. Two pork belly and one BBQ pork. The buns were heavenly. The pork belly was good, but the BBQ pork was outstanding. I would probably just get three of them next time. Lastly, the staff is just great. None of us were regulars, but they treated us like we were. I've got to come back soon.

I enjoyed their vegetarian lomein noodles and taro bubble tea with jelly. I had requested for them to make it spicy. The food was hot and tasty and the portions were generous. Despite being busy, I did not have to wait long. I loved their entry wall. This place was right across from our hotel.

Came here for lunch today and got the deluxe pho! It was incredible! Our waiter was awesome, I wish I caught his name. We will be coming back!

Took the wife here for dinner one evening, and had a very nice evening with great food and friendly, pleasant service.

The food is excellent. The pho deluxe was really good. It was probably some of the best pho I've ever had. The steamed dumplings were also very good. We ordered our son the teriyaki chicken skewers and they were OK. They were a little bit overcooked and we cannot taste any teriyaki flavoring and I don't think I'll get them again. The pho with dumplings was also very good, but could've used more dumplings inside of it. The food was prepared well, was hot, and was very flavorful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was trendy and it was clean. There was a changing table in the restroom also which was nice.

My favourite Vietnamese place and Asian restaurant in Tulsa where everything is not fusion. This is actually Vietnamese and the Pho is good. I don't love the banh mi bread situation, but otherwise ..: come for the Pho and noodle dishes.

I like that it is located in downtown, opens pretty much for lunch and dinner and is walkable from office buildings and hotels within the area (a lot of places only open for lunches OR dinner but not both, so having Kai as another good dining option goes a long way!). The place is very clean and service is polite as well. I had a chance to have Banh Xeo (by far....my favorite Vietnamese food!), which I really enjoyed! Many Vietnamese resturants only offers plain noodles/rice dishes and rolls, but rarely offer Banh Xeo. So, having that Banh Xeo as an option really does go a long way. The meal seemed healthy with 2 crepes and lots of fresh herbs/vegetables. You really feel good and still not bloated after eating it at all! Also, I like that the soda is refillable and staff did not hesitate to keep the glass full. Thank you for such wonderful food and service. Definitely a great lunch spot for tasty food and still very affordable, too!

It's a okay for me. I was craving for some soup and it's more of a American pallet for me. I've had so many Vietnamese food and it's okay. I was hungry and craving for Vietnamese, passing by from a very long drive (New York) search this restaurant and wanted to try.

I've been a client of Kai since it was Viet Huong. Kai is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The salad (Bun Cha Gio) and the spring rolls are delicious. The service is good and Kai has a nice ambiance. Being downtown is usually busy at lunch time, so service might be slow.

I love this place! Hubby and I went on a date Saturday afternoon and it was quiet not busy at all around noon and we both got vermicelli I usually add cabbage to mine but they were out; everything on the menu is good you won't be disappointed

Just delicious. We had the chicken pho and duck noodle soup. Of course, one can't go wrong with chicken pho. Complex and flavorful. The duck was great. Be prepared to take the duck out of the broth, shred it off the bone and return it to the soup. It was cooked perfectly. There were some intensely meaty mushrooms in it. Very good. I got winter melon tea to drink, and it was sweet and good. It tasted caramel-y, I guess from taro. My meal partner hadn't had pho before, and our waitress was happy to explain what to do. And one thing that warmed my heart is that at a table next to us with children, she was able to accommodate the requests of the children. They wanted some things to be plain, and she even offered some ice cubes to cool down their soup for them. It was very sweet. So this place is casual and warm and very kid friendly. Love it. I will be back.

One of the tastiest Vietnamese salad I had. Everything was fresh and more than I am used to. They had two egg rolls!! I requested a small broth for a small fee. When I requested for a Banh Mi Togo, the waitress was nice to have to veggies separated and wrapped in a foil, since I told her I will be toasting it later in the day. I think the bread will taste better with the French Baguette verse the one they used. There is a bar, not loud but still can enjoy your favorite game.

This is how traditions are born! It has recently come to our attention that we will now be traveling to Tulsa, OK, once every year. We both agree, without question, this will be a stop. I'm full and can't stop eating!!! The staff is really nice and happy to make the combinations of the menu. Feel free to put Pork Belly on anything. Don't let the simplicity of the decor shy you away from this charming space. It has everything they have down the street and you can come as you are. We can't wait to come back! Bravo!!
