Extremely Disappointing , A Complete Tourist Trap This is probably the least fresh sushi I’ve ever had in Japan. The first time I visited this shopping mall, I noticed a long queue outside this sushi restaurant while I was lining up for the Sendai beef tongue place next door. I was curious about how good it might be, why so many waiting in the queue for it but never got the chance to try because the line was too long. On my recent trip to Tokyo, I made sure to come here. I took a waiting ticket—there were 76 groups ahead of me, with a 120-minute wait. This was on a Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 pm, not even a public holiday. After waiting for two hours, I finally got seated. The atmosphere was decent, but the sushi on the conveyor belt looked completely unappealing and far from fresh. I ordered tamago, scampi sushi, and sea bream sushi. The fish tasted like it hadn’t even been thawed properly

We tried Kaitenzushi after hearing so many recommendations, but the experience was a bit mixed. You need to grab a ticket to join the queue — we arrived around 12pm and didn’t get seated until close to 3pm. There were about 80 groups ahead of us, which was pretty frustrating, though they do have a website to check your place in line which was handy while we walked around to pass the time. Once inside, the service was okay but quite blunt (understandable since they were so busy). Sitting near the door was a little annoying with so many people trying to push past the queue. The food itself was good — we had tuna and a few other dishes, and the pricing was fair — but overall it didn’t feel worth such a long wait. If you want to try Kaitenzushi, I’d recommend getting a ticket much earlier in the day and then coming back for dinner to make the wait more manageable.

We started lining up at 10:45 AM and were able to take the side elevator up to the 10th floor right at 11 AM, putting us at about 10th in line. We were seated shortly after, and the setting and atmosphere was nice and elegant. In terms of the sushi, I thought that it tasted good - but nothing standout. We tried several of the premium pieces including toro, unagi and scallop and were not too impressed, as we feel we have had more fresh sushi even in Vancouver. Luckily, because we did not wait, it was just a slightly overpriced meal - but I would not recommend waiting in line for any more than 15 minutes for this place - much less 3 hours as we hear from some people.

This place serves absolutely amazing sushi! The fish is incredibly fresh, the rice perfectly seasoned, and every bite is a delight. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Yes, you might have to wait up to two hours for a table, but it’s totally worth it! The negative reviews are completely unfair—this spot truly deserves the highest praise. Highly recommended

Eating here is like you are doing them a favour by eating here! Staff are rude and aggressive! It's a popular restuarant so I presume that's why they think they are doing you a favour by letting you eat here. They only seat people once a group is complete. There's no point asking for a table for 6 and only 2 of your party has arrived as they won't seat you. We saw some tourists who had this problem as they didn't understand how it worked. Located on 10th floor of Tokyu Plaza. Mall opens at 11am exactly. The lift beyond ground floor does not open until 11am exactly. So we queued up at the lift at 10.40am, there was already a queue of people for the lift. Everyone waiting to get to the retsuarants on the 10th floor. We were on the first lift to get to the 10th floor ag 11am, but there were already some customers in the restaurant....they probably took the elevators up. Once at the restuarant we were promptly seated. Seating around the bar. Order at table with paper and pen by wroting down the number of the sushi and give to the waitress. Order 5 at a time. Can also get pick off sushi from conveyor belt. Sushi is high quality and the prices are very reasonable. There were some species we never tried before so we had those. Food is good. There is a slight pressure to leave after 45 mins.....they don't want you to hang around if you finished eating. We spent JPY8,300 for the 2 of us. We spent about 45 mins in the restuarant and had 18 sushi plates. Rude staff at check out. Tokyu Plaza has very clean toilets....went there straightaway after eating here

With high expectations with quality of its branch in Hokkaido, I wasn't satisfied with the sushi quality. It is still good but I can say only few that are very yummy and the rest is just so so. What I can recommend is the salmon sushi and aburi salmon. It has the English translation of the menu which is helpful for tourist.

When we first got our ticket at 3pm it said there would be a 48 min wait but we stood around and a few minutes later we were called up for a seat. Fresh sushi made in front of you by passionate chefs. You have the option to pick off the belt or order from an extensive menu as well. We enjoyed the tuna the most and grilled salmon. Crème brûlée for dessert was a nice treat!

The Food & Price is Excellent! Me and my husband we are both Japanese cuisine enthusiasts! The only downside is the queue is really long. Definitely would recommend to get the tickets for your queue in advance. We waiting about 45-50mins for a dinner night.
