Extremely Disappointing , A Complete Tourist Trap
This is probably the least fresh sushi I’ve ever had in Japan.
The first time I visited this shopping mall, I noticed a long queue outside this sushi restaurant while I was lining up for the Sendai beef tongue place next door. I was curious about how good it might be, why so many waiting in the queue for it but never got the chance to try because the line was too long.
On my recent trip to Tokyo, I made sure to come here. I took a waiting ticket—there were 76 groups ahead of me, with a 120-minute wait. This was on a Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 pm, not even a public holiday.
After waiting for two hours, I finally got seated. The atmosphere was decent, but the sushi on the conveyor belt looked completely unappealing and far from fresh. I ordered tamago, scampi sushi, and sea bream sushi. The fish tasted like it hadn’t even been thawed properly
