Google
Fantastic local farmer's market just beside Ala Moana Beach Park. A number of vendors with both produce, ready-to-eat offerings, jewellery, crafts and other local artisanal goods. We had some fantastic popsicles (blackberry yuzu), tasted some delicious macadamia nut toffee, bought some bamboo stickers, and indulged in the top of Honolulu in 2023 JOJA smash burger (totally worth the wait). There were lots of beautiful flowers for sale as well. Beware that this is in an open space with not a lot of shade so cover up or make sure you have your sunscreen on. There were public washrooms across the street (part 2 of the market) and a place to wash your hands. Live music as well. Wonderful produce, too, like $2 papayas (cheaper than Safeway by far!), mangos, kabocha squash, and other locally grown goods. Fantastic if you're visiting and have a kitchen. Paid parking is limited but available and right beside the market. Would go back!

Google
Very well attended. Starts getting crowded around 930 but if you go early you can hit a lot of stuff up before it gets too much like sardines. Cool local stuff, good food for an early lunch too. We found parking pretty easily but a friend told me a lot of people go to the far end of ala Moana beach park and walk over as well. Great selection of produce and flowers and a little stand for the keiki too.

Google
This is just about the biggest farmers market I've ever seen! There are two different blocks of tents, lots of places to buy fruit, plants, all kinds of food, drinks, and jewelery. The only problem is the lack of parking, there's one big dirt lot, and you really have to fight for parking!

Google
We came here 8:30am. It was already very hot. There is no cover in one side of the market. Overall the vender here is a bit expensive, like $99 T-shirt and $200 necklace. Only thing we like is the bakery. I would personally more recommend the KCC farmers market, reasonable price, covered by trees.

Google
The BEST Farmer's Market I have ever been to! The grounds are massive, but not overwhelming. Stroller-friendly with lots of shade throughout the grounds. Dedicated parking is available. Fresh produce, local food trucks, drinks, the options are endless. I highly recommend Big Time Bagels.

Google
This market is good overall, but it leans more toward food vendors than produce sellers. I was hoping to see a wider variety of produce vendors, though this could be seasonal. Most stalls were focused on prepared foods and eateries.

Google
Best market I've been to!!! Great selection of fresh produce, street food and local goods. Amazing flowers and plants. Friendly vendors.

Google
Great farmer's market to attend after a morning whale watching tour at the Kewalo Basin. So many different and unique vendors. I personally enjoy Da Seafood Cartel's tostadas (mouth watering, delicious) and the relatively more rare fruit from the pictured farm stand (unsure of their name). Got a sugarloaf pineapple and some lilikoi there.

Yelp
My favorite farmers market on island (I may be biased because I'm a townie lol) Pros: -Lots of shade to walk around under -Good parking both in the lot and on the street -Lots of vendors -Has bathrooms and hand washing stations -Lots of people bring their dogs, pet friendly. Cons: -It can get busy -Street parking gets kind of tricky Fav vendors: -Tomato guy (the homemade chips are amazing) -Seafood cartel !!! -honey slush -sugar cane juice -Katsu sando truck

Yelp
Mostly a foodie destination than a farmer's market - very few farmers. Price seems a tad higher than other farmer's market in the area. That said, you won't leave hungry and hopefully with a couple of locally made souvenirs / gifts. Support local! Come eat and shop if in the area!

Yelp
For us, this is THE thing to do on a Saturday morning! As with most farmer's markets, we come here to try out all the pop up food vendors and maybe grab a bit of fresh lychee or other local fruits from the sellers here. Casual and usually crowded in the late mornings, our favorites here include "Sugar Cane Daddeh" for freshly crushed to order sugar cane juice, and the dim sum and sushi hand roll vendors onsite here. Lots of fresh made-to-order sandwiches, handcrafted baked pastry items and other cuisines to try also. Lots of local plants for sale for the locals here too. Parking can be pretty challenging here, so don't be afraid to park a couple of blocks away and walk in, or just take the bus! PRO TIP: This place packs right up at noon, so get here EARLY!!

Yelp
They had so much to try that we have to go back! I don't remember names but I finally got some turmeric capsules and the honey with cayenne and turmeric in it. I think the turmeric capsules actually worked because I stopped taking it about 1 and a half weeks ago and I realized my knees hurt again. Wallflour bakery is so good! Those were my top 2.

Yelp
A decent sized farmers market that is held on Saturdays. The market offers lots of local food choices, local craft booths, fresh banana breads and beautiful tropical flowers. We picked up some locally grown fruit for a decent price here and a malasada. It was fun to check out all the local goods.

Yelp
I finally made it to the market!!!! So glad I did and I will have to go back. Well for the fresh made food, to eat right there, and fresh baked good to bring home. Or all the fresh fruit that my family and I can never get enough of. The highlight of my trip would be I found the Organic Turmeric Treasures. I tried the honey and I have now been taking a small spoon full a day and love it. So good and so god for you. But all I got the capsules. I have inflammation and pain issues and I take two capsules in the morning and one at night and after a week I can already feel the difference. This place made the market worth it for me!!!! Love all the vendors I bought from, so find filled with aloha spirit took cash or card, and loved to take with the kids. Shout of to 444everdesign as well they made our kids day. We love to go shelling and they gave the girls each a shell that they still love to this day!!! And for the adults their jewelry is amazing!!! It can get crowed so just take your time and enjoy the experience. Treat others with love and respect and you will love it too!!!

Yelp
Our favorite farmers market on the island! I wish I was open more than just Saturday's but that is what also gives it its charm :) You can find parking in the dirt lot nearby but there is also beach parking at the waterfront park down the road and roadside parking if you don't mind a little walk. And SO many vendors with a good amount of tables and chairs strewn throughout where you can sit and enjoy your snacks. The stand out stars: - MANGO TOAST from Haawi Toast and Tea, on the west (Makai) side of the market, near Joja's Smash Burgers. - ALMOND COCONUT TOFFEE from Almond Tree Toffee across the road on the east side (look for a pink banner, bonus: they do samples). - SHRIMP CEVICHE from Da Seafood Cartel next to the mango toast. - Joja's SMASH BURGER... it's okay to have a burger for breakfast. I personally think protein is better than a bowl of Cocoa Puffs anyways ;) It's a little pricey, $18 for one burger a la carte, but you need to try it at least once in your life! - Honorable mentions: Fresh fruit bowls, mochi, BBQ skewers, pizza. TIPS & TRICKS: * If you know what you want to try, I would recommend spreading out to divide and conquer. Have each person wait in a line then come back together for a shared meal at a table, starting at Joja's Burgers (that wait is always at least 45 minutes). Then walk around together and see if there is anything else that you need to try! * Dog friendly, just be sure to pick up after your pet!

Yelp
Did you know that the Kaka'ako Farmers Market was actually ranked #3 'Best Farmers Market' in the nation by USA Today? Pretty impressive! This market happens rain or shine, and I loved seeing the various different vendors that offer local items. We came here on a weekend, and all the vendors were friendly and inviting; I found some great pastries as well as a delicious toffee place; you can stock up on fresh produce, treats, and/or gifts. There's also a large lot to park your vehicle, which is super convenient. +great selection of vendors +parking available

Yelp
I love this Farmers Market. It's not too big, not too small, it's just right. More like a food market rather and Farmers Market. Nice variety of food booths which include many ethnic flavors. Hot sauces with a local spin from the Big Island, local fruit jams, jellies and butters, pastries, savory dishes, boba, lemonade (run by a sweet group of young people), mochi, and a top rated smash burger stand. This time around we stood in line for the pastries at Wallflour Bake Shop. Nice big sized pieces! We tried the black sesame chocolate croissant, coconut almond bear claw and more. It was yummy! We then decided to give the lemonade a try. It's not out of a pitcher. They squeeze fresh lemon into your drink. I loved the pineapple lemonade. Hubby tried the strawberry. There are two areas for this Saturday only market. I suggest you go early before the crowd builds and the air warms up. I like this better than the KCC market because they have table areas for their customers to sit and enjoy their food purchases. There is also lots of large shade trees to keep the experience cool for most of the morning Parking is available on the street and there is an unpaved lot with free parking. Our goal is, each time we visit, try something new. Why not? Everything looks and smells yummy.

Yelp
I love farmers markets. It's something about shopping local businesses that feels really good. There is a wide selection of food you can buy from various vendors here. It was a sunny day, so I needed to cool off with some fruity drinks. I picked up a lemonade from one stand and a healthy green juice from another one. Both were tasty and refreshing. Bringing your own mason jars also advantages you. Businesses here are super friendly and you totally feel a sense of community. I loved the fruit stands with pre-cut fruit. It totally brings me back to my time in Asia, especially getting more tropical fruit. I scored some sapote, which is one of my favorite fruits ever. I also really liked the German food stand, which is a really unique offering anywhere in the US. The people working here are all super lovely folks. Something about being on an island must be nice. I did catch sight of the long line for smash burgers, so as an Angeleno, I was more grateful that smash burgers are much more ubiquitous in LA. Shoutout to Yelp for letting me try smash burgers all across SoCal!

Yelp
No matter when you go, it's lively and fun, and just looking around makes you feel excited! The other day, when I went by car, I couldn't find a place to park, so I gave up and had to find a place to park nearby. If you're going by car, I recommend getting there early, or go by Uber, bus, or on foot. I'm going to get a popular burger someday, but there's always a long queue and I don't have the energy to wait in line. After all, booths that are famous on SNS are full of tourists, and only those who have the will to wait can get products. My motto is to be able to buy without queuing up, so I buy vegetables, fruit, cut flowers and potted plants. I'm not the only one who always wants to take them home when I see beautiful flowers (laughs). In particular, I like a gardening store called PANG'S. My favorite young staff man, who always greets me with a nice smile, kindly explains how to handle the flowers I buy. He also puts the flower pot in a box for me so that it is easy to hold, so I can carry it safely to my home even when I have no car. While watching the live show, breakfast seems to be fun for tourists, but I'm going to leave as soon as I get what I need (laughs). Maybe someday I'll listen to the live show with my friends who are coming to Hawaii for sightseeing. It's not bad idea for a way to have a leisurely breakfast!

Yelp
Came to get lunch after snorkeling tour, In the parking lot of the harbor. They had a nice selection of fruit/veggie stands as well as ready made foods. As someone else said here, be prepared to spend some $ because it is not cheap. Went to a dim sum booth and spent $35 for a couple of dishes like pork hash (shu mai) and curry beef empanadas. Also got some fried rolls. Went to a place called Royal crown and they ran out of Acai Bowls. They did have a green juice with some guava, soft serve, and that was delectable!!!! Overall, a super cute farmers market with some variety of selections, but be prepared to spend !

Yelp
Get there early. It has a ton of options. Prepare to line up and spend a lot of money. Enjoy! If you go early there's lots of parking in the lot otherwise good luck finding street parking. Kakaako installed meters all around the street recently so you have to pay for parking now. I got the ridiculously overhyped up Joja burger. I got there at 7:40 am and the line seemed short so I decided to try it. I'm a one and done with it. It made me feel nauseous as soon as I finished eating it. I waited almost 45 minutes for my burger from when I lined up to when I got it. It wasn't as good as other smash burgers I've tried. It lacked a crisp char on the crust and the meat wasn't seasoned well enough. It comes standard as a double patty with onions cheese and truffle cream sauce. It was way too much to eat at 8:30am. I definitely felt duped by the 'gram. Saj Beirut was slanging some great food with a nice attitude. I wish I ate there instead. I tried 3 samples and all were bomb. La'a Kea is selling healthy fruit and seltzer mocktails/ elixir drinks using tinctures from an NYC apothecary, that are tasty and healthy and oh so pretty! The ladies who run the booth are friendly. There's a lady who sells really cool DMT inspired art on shirts and over the top cool burning man jewelry. She's super nice, you should check out her booth for exquisite art. There is no lack of variety in terms of food, produce, pasties, products, gifts and nice things to shop here.

Yelp
They have a little bit of everything: produce, food, local products. There's two areas with seating so you can enjoy your food. I didn't see any nearby parking other than street parking so if you can walk there I would suggest you do so. There two sections separated by the Ward Street so there's a lot of vendors.
google avatar

Sally G.

Yelp
Produce, food booths, drinks, crafts, jewelry, live music, art work! What more do you need? Going to town on a Saturday morning is not first on my list, but mom wanted to check it out so off we went. Great BIG selection of a variety of vendors. Only downside was parking. Especially after the rain. The parking lot was muddy and not alot of signage to help which way the rows were supposed to go. Creating some confusion I didn't need. We ended up parking for free at Ward Center and walking back the short way. Whew much less stress! Put on your walking shoes! Rows are vendors most not too busy lined both sides of the street. Take some cash, although a few vendors told me they prefer people use cards. Most likely that's easiest for them to process and not have to deal with making change. I will go back which if you know me is saying alot!

Yelp
This is one of those spots in Hawaii where, yes, there are a lot of tourists, but trust me when I say the locals love it here too! Also, we want more tourists and locals here--it's one of the best ways to support small businesses and #SUPPORTLOCAL, something I believe we should be practicing, especially in Hawaii. Take it from someone who lives central side; I WISH I lived in town just so I could walk to or visit this place every Saturday! One of the things I love most about this market is that it's dog-friendly, there are even dog vendors here, so Komori can join in on the fun! Before you leave your home make sure you're prepared: 1. Hat/umbrella - weather is unpredictable and it's HOT, barely any shade 2. Sunscreen - Hawaii's sun discriminates against no one 3. PLENTY of water - you can buy but let's be more eco-friendly and let's face it, you have a Stanley Cup for a reason, RIGHT?! 4. *Optional* Hand fan - again, Hawaii is HOT...well humid, you get it. 5. Your dog, please bring your dog, Komori loves making friends. Some of my recommendations (I'm so sorry I don't remember the business names): 1. Tacos for $5.50 or less: Vegan and pork in the back corner 2. Bread: Under this big yellow tent, go early they run out fast! 3. Pasta: You can watch your food being made right in front of you! 4. Katsu-Sando: Again, go early! One of the first to sell out every Saturday. 5. Dog cupcakes and cannolis: Komori obviously loved these! Overall, it seems like the landscape and vendors are constantly changing which gives a great opportunity to always have something new every month. Come here once, you'll have to come back again to discover the next up-and-coming food trend/business in Hawaii!

Yelp
This is the place for a breakfast and food to take home for dinner. One can tell the local favorites by the long lines. Enjoy

Yelp
Voted 3rd farmers market in the US and totally well deserved! Parking can be tricky if you don't get there early but we usually get lucky. They have everything - great prepared food vendors, produce, goods/gifts, handwashing stations, and a nice space to eat there if you wanted to! Here are the things we went for multiple times: -green smoothie from Omaoman truck -multi seed crackers from Surfer's Wife - expensive but SO GOOD!! -papayas YUM -salad greens The Joja burger was good but overhyped in my opinion, especially for $20 and a 40 min wait even at 8am. Overall, highly recommend going! So much variety of yummy things even if everything is fairly pricy... but I've realized a lot of stuff on Hawaii is so enjoy!

Yelp
LOVE this farmers market, a different pace than the Sat one at WCC! Lots of more food vendors (mochi, ice cream, burgers, skewers, bakeries, dim sum...), fruits/jams, popsicles, and so many samples. Go early though because it gets miserably hot around 11. Some highlights to go directly to: * Bakery: Often a line, they sell out! Pastries were delicious, flaky, buttery. * Jams: Several places sell jam but there is one (Steve's?) that sells exclusively jams and butters and you can taste them. I love this because I purchased and disliked many jams/butters from the grocery store and most of the ones I tried here were delicious. Faves were strawberry (no sugar), strawberry pineapple, mango jalapeno, lililkoi and mango jam. * Germany spaetzel place at the end of the food truck section! * Strawberry iced matcha: Though this wasn't the best matcha I've had it was still very delicious (made with Itoen matcha) * Pina Colada Sorbet with Honey: WOW - this was refreshing, delicious, unique, topped with local honey. Get it! * Popsicles: Was a fan fave in our group though I did not try this myself. * Breakfast sandwiches Good/Fine: * Filipino skewers: There was a huge line that eventually dissipated - chicken was sold out so we ordered 3 BBQ pork skewers. It was good, and exactly like you might expect? * Honey: Though I'm not a honey expert and can't discern the tastes between many, I thought it was unique because they sold honey lollipops, and two flavored honeys (ginger-tumeric and rose). Pass: * Iced cold brew coffee: The vendor that is in a camper van/truck was just ok. Would recommend some of the more unique options (there is a Japanese cold brew variant with cream foam on top).

Yelp
I hadn't been to this farmers market in a long time and wondered how they were going to set up with the one parking lot across the street gone. Parking was a bit of a challenge and we couldn't figure out how to get into the big lot. Oh well, maybe next time. It is laid out very well! I was hoping for more made in Hawaii kine booths, but the ones that were there were interesting. I am bummed that Joja was sold out! Gotta come earlier next time! But I did get to try Fatto A Mano and Rise and Grind. Most of the crowd understood personal space, however, tourists are so blind to the others around them. My only complaint is that there is not enough shaded areas. Luckily it was partly clouded that day. Great places to sit though!

Yelp
you guys, they have koji. that's all i need in my life on this day. but also fresh taro, pake cake, kava, papaya jam, lilikoi lychee kombucha, black sesame ahi, boba mochi, vegan cream cheese made from hawaiian macadamia nuts. and in case you needed more convincing, they have free samples hehe i love life
google avatar

Nelly C.

Yelp
They have got to be one of the most busiest Farmers Market everrrrr. Although I hate looking for parking , when I am around the area, I try my best to show up to this location. The amount of fun and exciting vendors that pop up here weekly is amazing.
google avatar

Jamie K.

Yelp
Probs one of my unexpectedly favorite moments of our trip:) super fun to go around eating so many different bites/drinks and shop for candles, bamboo stickers, honey, and bags. Fav bites were a pork katsu sandy and pork guo bao. hand rolls can be skipped. This place is consistently bustling with people and dogs, and everyone's having a stellar time
google avatar

Yelp
The Kaka'ako Farmers Market is popping! It is huge. There are two areas on both sides of the street filled with local vendors. There are so many food options to choose from: pastries, poke, plate lunches, burritos, burgers and bowls! You name it, they got it. The key is you gotta arrive early. We arrived at 8:10am and the parking lot was already full. There were people already circling around for a spot. There is a lot of parking available, but it just gets so busy!
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
Lots to see. Lots to eat. Very crowded, very expensive, fun place to be on a weekend. Bring cash or they have a cash machine on site. No much parking.
google avatar

Malery G.

Yelp
Food was delicious especially the fresh fruit bowls, pickled vegetables, and freshly made kimchi. The service from every booth was amazingly on point and really felt the Aloha. The ambiance was very cute. Great place to try and learn about local businesses and great products.

Yelp
Probably my favorite farmers market since there are sooo many options and produce. You need to get here before 8am if you want parking in the lot or on the street otherwise it is brutal. There's a gravel lot with parking and it's right next to the market. Across the street of the lot has all the best vendors. Some of my go tos are: truffle pop. Wallflour bakery, izu mochi, some produce vendors, musubi, and one more must go to is the omao smoothies! Bring cash or you can use your card as well. Support local!
google avatar

Vicky L.

Yelp
Come here if you want fresh produce, local eats, treats and handmade gifts. Arrive early to beat the crowds, the lines and the heat! There will be more options on produce, food and plants/flowers if you're an early bird. For the people driving over, parking can be a bit challenging so yeah, I reiterate, come here early! My mom and I got here right before 8am and there was already a long line of cars waiting to get into the lot. We decided to park over by the wharf and walk over. You can find food trucks that offer poke, bbq, tacos and smoothies or you can go to the food booths for dim sum, fresh fruit bowls and fresh lemonade. There's 2 sides to this outdoor market so I suggest walking around and scope out what booths you want to try before settling on a place. The side closest to the water has a nicer seating area with umbrellas and the other side has basic tables with plastic chairs. I bought some stickers from Bamboo Wood Stickers, tried char sui bao from a dim sum booth and got lilikoi lemonade. Came across a daifuku mochi booth and had to try their matcha daifuku with strawberry. And I splurged on those 2 mochi strawberries, I believe it came out to $10+. They were pretty fresh and had high quality matcha powder tho. The stickers were reasonably priced 3 for $10 or $5 for 1. They had mini stickers for $1 each and they don't offer mini stickers on their website. The lilikoi lemonade was $6, it was good but needed more lilikoi flavaflav and not worth the price. The mini char sui bao was 3 for $8 which was expensive AF! My mom was very displeased in my spendings here and I brought dishonor. However, she did take my food and had me take pictures of her like she bought and ate it, but she was a fraud because she didn't eat anything and only had a sip of my lemonade. Overall, it was fun to check out this market and to see all the vendors and items they offered. Majority of the things here are indeed inflated in price but you're supporting local. If you're close by and don't mind the crowds and dropping some $$ then check this place out.

Yelp
Beautiful community experience on a sunny Saturday morning in Honolulu. Lots of food selections to choose from. Lots of creative stuff to shop. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies to try. We tried the Smash Burger, Crab Roll and Filipino BBQ Pork. I came across egg fruit for the first time. There are tables and chair set up for guests. An ATM machine is also available. Most vendors accept credit card but not all. When in Honolulu, this is a must visit on Saturdays 0800-1200.

Yelp
First time checking out Kaka'ako Farmers Market and to be honest it just ok. About 90% of food vendors and food trucks only about 10% of other businesses like craft and Produce. Although it is very crowded which is good all local and we need to support small businesses especially local . The big problem to me is that there no parking . Parking is only available on side streets and metered parking close to the John Burns Medical building. Actually that's where I had to park I circled about 2 times and there was no parking closer . If I decide to go there again I'll definitely get dropped off or catch Uber lol . Support local

Yelp
Great variety of vendors in a well organized layout. Come for a few minutes and stay a few hours...I bought raw honey and a smoothie with a ginger shot.
google avatar

Patrick H.

Yelp
So much fun and an ever changing array of good eats, farm fresh produce, arts & crafts and interesting one-of-a-kind items. Go early for the best options. Friendly faces abound and you can't beat the back drop of Kaka'ako murals for a truly inspiring ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
There's a lot of vendors. Food was okay. Just a lot of flies trying to get a piece of your food.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful market filled with magnificent vendors. Beautiful plants, jewelry and soul fueling food. Make sure to check out Found Woodworking for something beautiful and unique. Sacred Spirit for gorgeously charged bracelets and more magical gifts. Earthworks by Mila for gorgeous pottery and magical plants.

Yelp
A fairly big farmer's market, free to go (but not as much vendors as the ones at NBC for an entry fee) held every Saturday featuring mostly the same, but maybe a few new local vendors. Some of the vendors are pricy, but some are reasonable with a unique local touch to their products. A mixture of vendors selling local produce and seems like there are more premade hot food/drink vendors now. Outside so don't have to worry about being in a cesspool of people with covid. Street parking only, and the later in the morning you go, the harder it is to find metered parking in the streets leading to UH School of Medicine and Kakaako park.

Yelp
What an amazing farmers market. We had a wonderful time tasting new tings and talking with vendors. Such an amazing experience. Don't miss this event!!!

Yelp
I love Kaka'ako farmers market better than KCC. It's close enough and also selection of food. I love Japanese mochi things. They get hard next day so you should eat them on the same day. I also loved green juice with ginger shot. Can't want to visit Hawaii again!!!

Yelp
Arrived early so found parking immediately. Place is wide open so dress appropriately. One side has trees for shade so browse the other side (no shade) first when it's cooler. If you're afraid of dogs, do not attend. Lots of cut little dogs on leashes. Many vendors with a variety of choices. Ate a apple turnover (much more fancy than the name suggests). It was delicious. The line for the smash burger was insane. Don't know if I would wait 45 mins. for an order. It must be worth the wait. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Assorted vendors make for interesting eats. Lots of tropical drinks (non alcoholic, soda and water). Lots of vegetables and plants, too. Once is enough for me, but that's just me. I'm sure folks go there most regularly (every Saturday).

Yelp
Love hanging out with the locals! I am a Maui guy, so I do not come to Oahu as often as the family would like. Therefore even the people here do NOT see me as a local. Quality/Quantity - Excellent, especially the food. The vendors make the food FRESH in front of you, piping hot fresh! Felt like my daughter bought something from each vendor... Atmosphere - Huge farmers market, and another one across the street. Farmlovers Market Not sure how the parking was, as it was a very nice morning for a walk. Open only 1 day a week from 8am to noon. And at noon, the organizations are shutting down ready to hit the waves. Surf's up! Service - Everyone was friendly, the vendors and the locals. Very dog friendly, see the signs. Some items you can pre-order online, see their website. Price - Depends on what you buy. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2013.

Yelp
This is a nice farmers market with a good mix of produce, crafts and food vendors. It is laid out on both sides of a busy road, so be sure to check out both sides of the market. The mauka (north) side has more more seating under sun shades, but has limited trees so visit that side earlier in the morning. The makai side of Ala Moana looks smaller at first glance, be however it wraps around a building and has a good variety of snacks and meals. I've enjoyed fresh salads, crepes, juice, and local fruits here. Youpo Noodles is a must try. It can be crowded, but less crowded than the KCC Farmers Market and due to paved surfaces, easier to navigate with kids. Take TheBus or prepare to do a little hunting and hiking for parking nearby.

Yelp
Going to Kaka'ako was a highlight of our trip. Parking was a bit difficult to find so make sure you get here early. Izu's Mochi - 5/5: The lines get long early. When I went, they were accepting orders in advance if you contacted them through IG. The mochi was fresh and priced really well. All the flavors were delicious. Milk Market - 5/5: We went here every week to pick up almond milk and cold brew. Loved it! Koko Kai yogurt - 5/5: This dairy free yogurt is delicious. Only downside is that it's priced a bit high in my opinion, but worth it for really good creamy yogurt. The passion fruit was my favorite. Hand pulled noodles - 4/5: You'd love it if you've never had hand pulled noodles. If you've had Xi'an Famous Foods before in NY, this spot doesn't come close to Xi'an, sorry Butter mochi - 3/5: Maybe I had a bad batch because it was burnt Fried coconut mochi - 3/5: It was good but you have to buy 6 when you really only need 1-2 to be satisfied. A bit too heavy for me. Sticky rice mango pie slice - 4/5: I don't even the name of the vendor but they had a bunch of different types of pastries. We tried a few but my favorite was the sticky rice mango pie. Rice and Grind coffee - 4/5: Good coffee Sugar Daddeh's Cane Juice - 5/5: Delicious sugar cane juice that you can mix with other flavors. Tip - Keep your mason jar for a discount when/if you refill. There were a bunch of other vendors worth getting stuff from (raw honey, homemade macadamia nut butter, etc.) that I would recommend trying out. I enjoyed this farmers market more than KCC and Pearl Ridge market.

Yelp
Showed up earlier in the morning while the lines were shorter, and it was worth it. I ended up going by myself and was able to try 5 separate vendors. All were really good and the vendors were super nice. Definitely come hungry as there are many things to try. Most vendors take card, but there are a select few that were cash only. Definitely recommend coming!

Yelp
Biggest farmer's market on Oahu that's only on Saturdays! There's two different sides of it so just FYI. Bunch of food trucks and vendors. Snagged some snacks for myself and my furry canine friend. There wasn't much shade so it got hot but definitely fun to walk around.

Yelp
Great farmers market with ample stalls of fruits, veggies, flowers and fresh foods! Bring walking shoes and know that you will have to cross the street to experience the other half of the market.

Yelp
What's a better way to support small businesses than at your locals farmers market? This was my first time visiting a farmers market in O'ahu (which is hilarious because I lived here all my life)! I loved how there are multiple different vendors ranging from crafts to foods! I like the layout of the farmer's market as well! Although, there are two separate area's there is so much too see and try! However, I really did wish they had area's to have a seat in! I understand COVID is still a thing, but I think maybe a few benches or two wouldn't hurt. Overall, The Kakaako Farmer's market is pretty big and I loved it! I will definitely be coming more often because I found some amazing vendors that sell really good food and drinks!

Yelp
Disappointed to see so much single use plastic. Thought Honolulu passed a law about that.... Parking is atrocious, massive rocks flipping up and hitting car when driving over and waited 30 min for a spot to open. Food vendors should be required to use local produce when possible. Had some avocado sliced on top of a dish and sticker said Mexico. They are trying to get #1 farmers market award currently and I just see so many downsides still. There are some good quality vendors here though.

Yelp
The good: a large variety of vendors with little duplication of products. The bad: terribly crowded, difficult to get to booths at times . This market needs more space. We left without purchasing anything as many times we couldn't get to a booth.

Yelp
So glad that I visited here on my trip out to Oahu! All the vendors at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market are absolutely amazing! It is a great place for everyone! Come hungry there are so many vendors with awesome and interesting food you will want to try! They have fresh produce as well like a typical farmers market. They also sell clothing, soaps, indoor plants, etc, there is quite the variety. Some of the vendors that I specifically checked out and loved were bamboo stickers, wicked hi slush (shave ice with honey), maidens of the pacific, and gua bao. Dog friendly as well. There is a booth here that even sells dog treats and toys! If you are here on vacation I suggest that you book a boat tour for afterward. You can see the harbor from the farmers market so it is just a brief walk in order to continue the fun! We booked a boat tour for 11:45am since the farmers market closes at noon and it worked out great. What a great way to support local businesses!
