Kakhelebi

Very delicious Georgian food. They have menu in English and they speak enough English. With some google translate we didn’t have any issue. I recommend the pork Shashlik with green tkemali sauce.

Traditional location and tastes. Much more better than many of the similar restaurants at Tibisi area.

Just the best place to eat authentic Georgian food. Everything was amazing. Eggplant rolls, khachapuri, veal in tomato sauce, kebabs compote - 10 out of 10. Everyone should visit this place.

Restaurant "KAKHELEBI" is a cozy place on the outskirts of the city to Kakheti. The place has a number of important advantages: - they are OPEN and waiting for guests as early as 09:30 am! Therefore, in those cases when our tourists have a flight arriving in the morning, and it’s early to go to the hotel, but they already need to have breakfast, we go to #Kakhelebi. - it's DELICIOUS here. Excellent Georgian cuisine. All the products are selected: aromatic vegetables, kamechis matsoni (buffalo #matsoni), and the meat is always the most tender, and #khinkali is juicy and always available (many restaurants are now removing khinkali from the menu - saving themselves from unnecessary hassle in the kitchen), and you have freshly brewed #Georgian_tea in a wrapper (without trivial bags) - real Georgian cuisine without excesses in tribute to fashion, when they bring the dish to you just to try it, since you need to look for it like a work of art on a wide plate. - it’s COZY here. Details, decor, interior - everything is thought out. Unique, with dignity and the atmosphere of Georgian flavor has been preserved.

The waiter 3 times forgot what we have ordered, still didn’t bring some meals. He couldn’t advise and recommend wine, veal shashlik was not tasty- it was not made on grill and it was just dry meat on the plate with only onions on top. My daughter wanted other meal because for a normal grown up person it is small plate. In Georgia it is not normal, I have been in a lot of places in this country where is more tasty and staff is very friendly.
