The LA Sports Bar Directory

"All you need to know about Wangs is that their logo is a picture of a really jacked chicken in a muscle tee that bares an uncanny resemblance to Hulk Hogan. Well, it might be helpful to know that they also have an expansive menu of burgers, wings, and other bar food, but we’re mostly interested in that first thing." - kat hong, james montgomery

We had a blast 💥 watching the Dodgers win the championship and celebrating 🥳 a HBD! 5 on it for that part & their big screens! The pro-service team rocked at 4 stars ✨! However, the "food", OMG 😱 weird! Our ceviche was bad, gummy, and flavorless sending me home with an upset stomach 😳🫣🤮. Shrimp pasta was cool, but super spicy. Enchiladas & guacamole rocked!!! Our waiter told us the chips were coked in the am so all day into the evening they were hard and cold! No hot chips were served to us. It was an off time at Kalaveras Noho! We've gone before and would rave, but not this time.

Our server was very helpful and fun and our food was very delicious! We went on taco Tuesday and the tacos were amazing! I however ordered the shrimp pasta dish. Sooo goood!

Kalaveras is part of a vibrant chain of Mexican restaurants, and this location is one of their many local gems. While they don’t have their own parking lot, there’s plenty of street parking nearby—just be sure to read the signs and bring some quarters. I visited for my friend’s birthday celebration and decided to take advantage of their happy hour. Their happy hour menu is filled with fun and tasty options. I ordered the Sex on the Beach served in their signature half-yard glass—only $10 during happy hour, which runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. For food, I went with the taquitos, which come in chicken and potato. They were absolutely delicious, though the salsa was a bit too spicy for me—next time I might skip it. We also shared the street corn, wings, and other small bites, all perfect for sharing with friends. The atmosphere is lively and inviting—definitely a great spot to enjoy with good company.

I stopped by this Kalaveras location last night for happy hour. There parking in the back in the structure and it was free since there was no guard rails. If there is then the restaurant will validate your pass. Since we were part of the first group to arrive we found seats just fine. The music is loud here so just be aware of that. They were giving out margaritas but since I don't drink, I went and got their pineapple drink next to the horchata. There was flan there and I give it a try but it's not my favorite. The first snack to come out was the fries and it tasted plain. Next up was the tostada and taco which I believe just needed some salsa. The last sample was the taters tots which was my favorite here. I been to this restaurant before but the Burbank location and I thought the food was just okay. The servers were attentive to the best of their ability because they were full.

Worst quesadilla I’ve ever had. Ordered it through doordash. Clearly says it comes with ground beef and cheese. $12 for this floppy mess?? Come on dude. Only came with greasy cheese and a nice LONG BLACK HAIR. Never again.

Google
Stopped by during happy hour for a dear friend’s birthday celebration and had a great experience! Vivid, vibrant cantina vibes with a Dia de Los Muertos theme, lively music, homemade syrups for their drinks, and an eclectic mix of dishes on their menu! They have a generous happy hour menu weekdays from 3-7pm and the chicken taquitos were a big hit with our party. We also tried the buffalo wings and they were pretty decent except that the sauce was a tad watery for my liking. Everyone loved their drinks - Sex on the Beach, Cucumber Margarita Slushie, Pomegranate Marg - all fresh, beautiful, and delicious! Off the regular menu we sampled cheese quesadillas and esquite which were both excellent. And they even have a couple of intriguing (and very unexpected!) sushi rolls - so I couldn’t resist trying their Dragon Roll - which has crab, jalapeño, cream cheese, and cucumber inside and comes fried with spicy mayo and teriyaki on top - it also comes with a couple of pieces of shrimp tempura on the side. The roll is absolutely ENORMOUS!! It could easily feed two (if not three) people! I couldn’t believe how huge it was - it was good but a tad bland so I’m not sure I’d get it again unless I was sharing with people. The shrimp tempura it came with was excellent though and the shrimp inside was very large. The vibes are seriously cute - such vibrant colors and I loved all the wall art and decor. The space is wide open, they have live music and even had salsa dancing on our visit! There’s table and bar seating and it’s a good marriage of hometown bar vs dance club vibes. Definitely a good time to be had here. Service was excellent - so friendly and attentive. Prices are what you’d expect for NoHo. Parking is all street parking but I found a nearby space easy enough on a Thursday evening. I think they have some valet parking too possibly. I had fun and would definitely come again.

Google
We've been past this place so many times but only visited last night. We were pleasantly surprised! Food was fantastic, staff was on top of things, and the DJ was on point! Had a great vibe! We'll certainly make a return visit on a Friday night!

Google
The food took a while to come out of the kitchen...and once it arrived, yum! Shared the dragon roll - absolutely coming back for this before the movies!! We stopped in on a Sunday morning around 11. No waiting for a table, plenty of tvs with NFL on. The green enchiladas are good, rice is good, and beans are flavorful without feeling too heavy. Can't wait for the next time so I can get my dragon roll 🥰

Yelp
Amazing ambiance, food and service! Brittney was so nice and her service was SPOT ON. She catered to us and also upsold the Valentine's day specialty drinks. 10/10 experience overall.

Yelp
Thank you to Britney for the great service on a rainy Thursday. Glad we stopped by , she was the best.

Yelp
I've only been to Kalaveras twice now, once in Simi Valley and now in North Hollywood, our waitress Brittany was awesome, the food good, Beer was cold and not that loud.
google avatar

Christie C.

Yelp
I've been to a couple of Kalaveras restaurant and each one has a slightly different menu and different look. The one thing in common is it is always very loud and noisy so it's hard to have conversations in this particular branch - the service was good. The waitress was friendly and the food did not take long to arrive. it is a nice place to eat and drink. the location itself is ok but parking is hard so we had to park a few blocks away and i didn't feel very safe walking back to my car because it was a bit dark late in the night

Yelp
Kalaveras is always a hit or miss. Pros: great Sunday buffet, friendly service, and fun atmosphere...when you're lucky. Cons: the drinks are not cheap and the pours are not strong, the bottomless progressively slows down even if the restaurant is not that busy, some of the staff takes breaks leaving you without knowing who to ask for help or service, and there are times where the music is at an 11 and you need to raise your voice to hear yourself talk. This place has been here for a bit and it's already undergone fundamental changes to their brunch and their buffet that haven't necessarily paid off. I would recommend coming here if you're in the area, but if you're looking for a fun Kalaveras experience, I'd suggest the Burbank location. Burbank has everything that made me like Kalaveras NoHo in the first place.

Yelp
It's hard to find and doesn't look anything like the advertisements. Parking is difficult, maybe another location would be better. :(

Yelp
Came to Kalaveras for lunch with some coworkers on a Wednesday. The place was pretty empty, but it's a LARGE dining room area with a full bar. There were TV screens everywhere bumping Bad Bunny type of music. Felt like a club. Totally a vibe. Cheese Quesadillas - Delicious!!! The cheese was cheesin!! The only thing that could've been improved was having a crispier tortilla. I also would've loved it if there was more guac and salsa in the little cups they provide for your quesadilla. You could also add meat for an additional charge La Güera - Such a divine cocktail! Looks super fruity but it actually had a nice balance. Very tropical tasting. Prices were slightly on the more expensive side. They do have a happy hour though and the appetizers are quite large if you want to have that as your entree! Our server was attentive. We got our food pretty timely too. The bar was slow though, even though we were only 1 of the 3 groups there. They had a separate bartender making cocktails too. Our drinks came well into us eating our meals. The drinks -were- delicious though! Would be interested to come here during dinner. It's definitely a vibe and the food was pretty good!

Yelp
The chips and guac was fireee. Went on Valentine's Day so it was super busy and the server was all over the place but did a good job. We were able to get in eat and get out in a timely manner. Love the dim lighting and the colorful interior. Tables are pretty close together so something to keep in mind and it's on a Main Street. So some people lingering around outside. Parking is best in the parking garage near the 24 hr fitness.

Violet A.

Yelp
Food is good and music ok and I guess because it's taco Tuesday is busy for one waiter

Tamar V.

Yelp
Let me start by saying the service is great! Servers and hostess were incredibly friendly. I didn't try the drinks (just an iced tea and it wasn't good.) The food was a little bland and I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites of the hongo taco (a little oily and no flavor) and one bite of potato taquito, which had a peculiar, unappealing flavor. The guacamole wasn't bad but chips were very greasy. So, even though it seems like a good place to grab a margarita with a friend (?) I wouldn't come here to eat.

Yelp
This is now my third Kalaveras experience but each one has been a different location. The first two experiences have been great. When I learned there will be one in my local area I was pretty hyped about it. Knowing it was going to replace Big Wangs wasn't exactly my ideal since I never really enjoyed coming to Big Wangs. The interior layout was just meh and the vibe just didn't sit with me very well. Now that Kalaveras has taken over, I still have the same vibe as the previous restaurant. Although the interior looks different I just can't shake it. This experience was different. I was finally able to try a couple of items from the full menu. (past experiences was AYCE brunch and limited menu brunch) I enjoyed the nachos and aguachiles. Honestly, I would like to come back and check out other entree items another time. There wasn't many people during my visit so the service was pretty good! Our server was very attentive on how we were enjoying our food and getting us another round of drinks. Hopefully the feel for the old place will wash away after my return! Parking: metered street parking, private lot in rear VERDICT: Rinse and repeat

Yelp
Regrets! Was curious to check this place out since they also opened one in Burbank. Sadly I will not be returning. Came in for lunch. Food was bland and boring- only perk was it was a lunch deal which came with a side and a soda but the beans were watery. No chips. The waitress was awful. There were only 3 tables (2 couples besides myself) and she was very slow, distracted, forgot to ask me about my sides and drink and walked away before I could even order a drink since she wasn't actually looking at me when I ordered, didn't tell me that they didn't have draft beer when I ordered one. She seemed like a nice person watching her talk to other customers but not doing her job well at all. Just all around not worth the calories and not a pleasant time

Yelp
Brittany provided exceptional service in my first visit here! She recommended the carnitas plate and it was awesome!

Yelp
Skip this location. We've been to the Pasadena one and it was fun for a group, the food was good, the drinks were strong. Each of those things was exactly the opposite at North Hollywood. We had an evening reservation for dinner. We were seated in the middle of the room, which was absolutely roaring with everyone else's chatter and loud music. The ceilings are high and the din just echoed - it's like sitting in a warehouse of noise. The drinks we ordered were tiny, weak, and sugary, so we skipped dinner there and went across the street to the Federal (RIP). We thought we'd try it again for brunch, thinking that if we sat on the patio, it'd be quieter. Upon checking in for our reservation, we were informed the only brunch option was a buffet, with bottomless mimosas if we wanted that. We grudgingly stayed, but we shouldn't have. The mimosas were thick, warm, and weak. The buffet was underwhelming. Taco station, a variety of meats, various dishes (like a tray of tamales), fruit, waffles, desserts - but nothing outstanding or even "pretty good". We slopped together a few plates, but it wasn't worth what we paid. Service wasn't great. The patio was hot. I'd come back to Big Wangs and their "C" rating from the health department (the predecessor in this space) before I'd try this Kalaveras again.

J L.

Yelp
Lizeth was very friendly, professional, and welcoming. The service was top notch! My husband and I decided to try this place and were very pleased, the food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. We ordered the molcajete and La guera was my favorite drink.

Brittany F.

Yelp
Came here because lomo saltado is my favorite dish, and I just found out this place down the street from me had it. However, it's not authentic at all and is closer to just a normal steak fajitas with an aji verde resembling more of a chimicurri. Still tasty, but the meat was a little tough and it was not worth $22. Also who puts sweet potato fries in lomo saltado? Service was good, and I have a feeling you're meant to get drunk at this place first and then they serve you your food. It's got a good party vibe, and I'd probably only consider coming back if I was with a group of friends celebrating a birthday (which happened right next to me, and it seemed like a fun extravaganza!)

Yelp
Their food and cocktails are delicious. A little too loud and the seats are too crowded. You go to Kalaveras for the experience and cocktails. Only reason I do not give 5 stars is because it's pricier than I like to pay for Mexican food.
google avatar

BriElle A.

Yelp
I went here with my coworkers for lunch and the food was really good! Service was incredibly polite and fast. I got the cheese quesadilla, which was a great light lunch. The guac was really tasty and fresh. My coworkers really liked their drinks too! I overall ambiance is a nice restaurant by day and I think they host club or dance events in the evening!

Yelp
Loved Britney's service.. definitely will come again. Her service was great and made the experience perfect!!!

Yelp
I was very excited to finally make it to this restaurant. Should have listen to my gut and turn around , had a 5:45 reservation and the table was not ready , place was not busy at all at the most only 3 tables were occupied . To make a very bad experience short . Food was Good but Service was unacceptable, we literally had to ask multiple servers for the same things over and over . Water refill, napkins , silverware, chips just to end up getting it ourselves. My husband literally went to the kitchen to get our chips. Our waiter was very forgetful or he just didn't care since his tip was secured . They include tip on guest of 6 or more .Very disappointed .

Yelp
10 stars ! Great food, service and drinks !!! Very pleased with this location. We had no wait time and the service here is great ! Staff is very accommodating we asked if they may play a soccer game we request in one of their TVs and did with no hesitation. They are constantly checking if everything is ok. Ambience is great they have music playing in the background with music videos. Food came out quick and everything we had was very tasteful. Will definitely recommend this location if you are around the area.
google avatar

Patricia A.

Yelp
The energy in the restaurant is a blast. With unique lights, a full screen playing music videos, and friendly staff it's a great place to grab drinks before a night out or grab a casual meal with a group. Our server, Sergio, was incredible. He was attentive, funny, and gave us great recommendations on food and drinks. The service was speedy and the food and drinks were tasty and well priced. Loved that the drinks were in custom ceramic for the restaurant.

Nakia D.

Yelp
My bestie and I came to Kalaveras NoHo for a lunch date, and this place did not disappoint! I did not catch our servers name, but she was sweet and attentive. She answered any questions we had on the menu. I got the taquitos, 5 potato taquitos. I also got a margarita flight. My friend got two shrimp tacos. Cucumber slushy drink. It was really good and I would definitely go back again and try something new! We both enjoyed our food very much and it was flavorful.
google avatar

Joseph G.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Service was excellent, our server (Brittany) really delivered the experience.
google avatar

Gigi G.

Yelp
Kalaveras was a very inviting atmosphere: reggaeton music videos play on a few flat screens around the restaurants, pretty lights, and nice staff. The vegetarian options are somewhat underwhelming, but I still appreciated the effort. I didn't get to try any drinks but will be ordering some next time!
google avatar

Tamika O.

Yelp
My experience at Kavaleras North Hollywood was extremely disappointing. I had a coupon for free nachos with the purchase of a beer, but the bartender repeatedly questioned its validity until we pointed out the coworker who had given it to us. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and discriminatory, and as a Black customer, I felt especially disrespected. If your Spanish accent isn't flawless, prepare to be corrected in a rude and condescending manner. It's clear this place doesn't value all of its patrons equally. I would not recommend it to anyone seeking fair treatment or a welcoming environment.

Karla Q.

Yelp
Las bebidas están muy ricas. Margarita flight! El servicio fue rápido aunque el restaurante estaba bastante lleno. La carne asada estaba suavecita y jugosa. El ambiente esta padrísimo!
google avatar

Yelp
I went here on a Saturday night around 9pm for a friend's birthday dinner and I was unpleasantly surprised. First off, it was LOUD in there. Like uncomfortably loud where you could barely talk to the person sitting next to you. Second, it was packed and there was a lot going on. Too much for me, I need peace when I'm trying to enjoy a meal. I didn't order any food because I didn't want to stay too long, but one of the people at our table ordered a sushi roll and it did look bomb. Be warned, their portions are HUGE. The service was ok, the waiters all seemed overwhelmed and it took them a minute to bring us our drinks. Overall, if you like to drink, eat portions that may give you high cholesterol, and listen to loud Spanish music while you eat then this is the place for you. If not, try somewhere else.
google avatar

Virginia A.

Yelp
Finally got to check this place out. I've had heard so many thing about this place. Let start off with the music.. its very loud so to carry out a conversation here will be challenging. the loudness of the music in this place is that of a club Portions of the meal are very generous. you can easily share a appetizer. Their cocktails are beautifully garnished and TASTY! prices for the drinks are justified. Over all if you a chill place to hang after work ours if your vibe is this. They have a decent happy hour too. Our server was okay. it did take a while for someone to come to our table and greet us. i would say this place is better than La Jungla which is down the street.
google avatar

JOSUE G.

Yelp
their aguachiles are #1! we ordered 2 rounds. best happy hour. birria !! pasta diabla yumm. brittany. was our favorite today. shes funny. and cool. not a fake waitress. real ppl person. buy her a 4 shot starbucks!
google avatar

Yelp
Every time I come here I get the ceviche. It's my fav thing on the menu. I have actually ordered two plates of it and finished both. They put mango in it and the saltiness of it all combined with the sweetness of the mango combined WITH the salsa negra they give you on the side!!!!!! So so good. They have a long drink menu but the BEST ONE is the guayabera. Service is good at this particular location. (I can't say the same for the others) this is a loud place with good music if you're looking for that kind of vibe.
google avatar

Elysha B.

Yelp
Pros: the ambiance and decor inside is cute. Food is good. I tried the queso birria tacos and mole enchiladas. Both were tasty. Would order again (but I probably won't come back to this location for the reasons below). Cons: service left a lot to be desired. It took a long time before the waiter came to take our order. I noticed people at other tables also weren't getting served and had long wait times. We had to ask for napkins and utensils. And had to ask several times for pickled onions and carrots that should have come with the order. We asked for chips and salsa and were told they didn't have any. However, when we ordered guacamole it magically came with...chips and salsa! Parking: meters on the street and a parking lot in the apartments behind the restaurant
google avatar

Gloria S.

Yelp
Not for me way too loud, drinks are great, service very efficient! Food is already prepared my carne asada tacos not good overcooked and cold .! Music good .

Danny O.

Yelp
Amazing food and honestly very suprised on how fair the prices were!! The service is amazing, they're very friendly and helped me pick out my plate which was the asada and shrimp burrito that was delicious! Very busy restaurant but very well maintained, the energy in the room can be seen and felt

Yelp
I had a great time at Kalaveras! Real cool spot to grab some food after 10. The ambiance in here is incredible. I love the art , the music , the vibes were immaculate. Big shout out to Jose who attended us and did a phenomenal job making sure we were good and weren't missing anything at our table. The drinks were fire , the tacos were fire as well. Really would love to join you guys on a Sunday for brunch and see what the vibes are like. But definitely this is a place you in north Hollywood worth the try. The staff was super polite and very attentive. I just know everyone from our party left context with our whole experience here at Kalaveras. Thank you ! Hope to visit soon !!!!

Yelp
Brittany gets 5 stars for her smile, great energy and an absolute great drink recommendation. We have been to this locations multiple times and we can always guarantee her to greet us with a smile. We ask for her section! Never disappoints. Will continue to return since she makes our meals and experience memorable
google avatar

Shenelle J.

Yelp
If you love tacos, I highly recommend the pescado tacos! So cripsy and flavorful. I enjoy the dimmed lights, music videos playing and the decor. It is a loud restaurant though
google avatar

Robin P.

Yelp
This restaurant is very trendy. You'll find people of all ages here with groups of friends .The service is fast even though the location is extremely popular. I can't speak about the food because I didn't order any . I can say the drinks that I had were the freshest and most flavorful cocktails that I've ever had . The cocktails alone make me want to return and try the food.

Yelp
It's TACO TUESDAY!!!! I've been living in NOHO since March and wanted some tacos. Went to Yelp found this Diamond in the rough and wanted to try it out. It is worth the drive even though I live 2 miles away I would drive further for this amazing place. All good vibes!! Great music, full bar and IG content worthy. The taco bar is $3.50 per taco on Tuesdays!! Margarita specials are $4.99 Mon-Thur! I loved the barbacoa tacos. I did not like the chicken tacos. Derlin my server was very attentive he did such a great job. Highly recommended! I will definitely be a regular :)
google avatar

Dev W.

Yelp
OMG.... One and DONE! I came in for taco Tuesday. Without a doubt absolutely the smallest tacos I have seen in my 60 something years of enjoying tacos globally. Yes they were only a dollar but they were two bites each. $2.50 for a tiny basket of chips that were mostly stale and inedible and to be any greasier they would've still been in the fryer! I had to beg one of the bus boys for salsa cups. All they had at the (weak) salsa bar were baggies? The server was sweet but incredibly un attentive.
google avatar

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
Not going to Lie , the food doesn't do it for me . I'll give this a place 2 stars for the ambience . Great place for Drinks with friends, but the food isn't so Good

Yelp
Everything from the drinks and services from Celis our waitress, the food was great, music is great, our first time here, and we will come back

Yelp
Brittany was super cool and helpful. Really good vibes and made everything easy. She recommended the best appetizers we loved the birria tacos.

Yelp
Sunday Funday!! I'll take some bottomless mimosas please... Well when they remember to refill them lol... which eventually they did and then some... Weekends are busy as can be at Kalaveras - North Hollywood. This sultry chain of easy Mexican meets Latin American cuisine, culture and quality is definitely doing it's thing! I've had great service here, amazing drinks and of course tacos!! I haven't been able to make it out...yet for their weekday lunch specials (11 AM - 2 PM), but have been lucky enough the experience so good food, good music and many of the Kalaveras "Tripulación"/Crew in action. Love watching old nostalgic videos of Selena (Quintanilla) that always seem to pop up as well as her classics, not mention mucha musica de artistas increíbles... From Gloria Estefan, Menudo, Los Tigres del Norte, Bad Bunny, the list goes on. It's such a colorful and vibrant place... nods to dia de los muertos, festivals, street art and modern South American, Mexican and Latin culture. I'm grateful with it's nuance take on it's style that it also translates to their menu via plant-based options. I've had all three vegan taco options, the soyrizo being a favorite, but no duermas en el mushroom y camote vegano or the yum yum sides (beans, rice, sweet potato fries, regular fries, side salad, etc. I believe they can do veggie bowls, pepita salad, and do do potato taquitos as well. I haven't tried but would recommend asking or customizing as needed for any dairy sensitivity or preferences as well. Unfortunately for me the brunch menu doesn't have an plan out vegan option (but does some vegetarian ones). It is possible to get creative with their avocado toast or torta however. Try the Margarita flights or better yet... A pitcher!! And get happy off happier hour because the drinks are richer!! You can find some parking on the street or in the shared lot behind Kalaveras with neighboring businesses and local housing. High recommend para los Domingos y Taco Martes!! Though I might be saying the same for Margarita Mondays in the very not so distant futura ;) jajajaja Salud!!

Yelp
I came here for the first time for my birthday. I was really excited to try this place but was quickly turned off. There were 4 of us total and once sat we placed our drink order. Before all of us even got our drink order(only 2 girls had them) these two guys came up to us with a camera and were being very pushy about taking a photo. We were so confused as to what was happening because we could barely hear them and they just kept telling us to pose and to take a picture. We kept telling them no and that we wanted to wait for everyone to get their drink but they just stood there trying to continue to get us to take pictures. Once we all got our drinks we let them take a picture, honestly to just get them to leave us alone. I asked one guy what this was for and he said he would show us in a couple of minutes. I thought they were going to use them for marketing purposes or something but nope they came back to us with the photos in frames and requested $22 for each picture. I told the guy that next time he needs to ask first before doing all that because we were bombarded and we felt extremely uncomfortable. Horrible way to treat customers. Our food came out and it honestly looked better than it tased, not terrible but not worth the price. While there, we saw a lot of people get birthday shots with sparklers, their name on a board and got sang happy birthday to. My friends said they were going to do that for me but it was $75!!! That's insane and highway robbery! The shots were mixed with juice or something and they literally sang for 1 minute, I timed it! $75 for one minute is ridiculous and I would never pay that nor would I expect my friends to. I ordered a shot before we got the bill and the waitress forgot it so I had to flag her down to get it. Definitely won't be back.

Yelp
Saturday afternoon the place was semi-full. Street parking and some parking lots nearby I'm sure. It's a high-energy place with very loud music so if you're hungover have a Michi before going Lol Had the gobernador tacos not bad but a little dry. My partner ordered the green enchiladas they were good but maybe should've had the red ones instead. Food was served but Our waiter was gone-so for the rest of the time. For drinks it was the mojito and fresa margarita both overall good drinks.

Yelp
My friend and I came here before a screening at the Emmy Theater and I was so charmed by this place. The Happy Hour is substantial, the service was fantastic (everyone had a smile on their face), and the vibe was upbeat. What a great hang out. The decor just made me excited to be there. I ordered two different margaritas and both were delicious! The Queso Fundido was gloriously cheesy as well as the Carne Asada fries. The tacos were great and they have a separate toppings station so be sure to load up there. All in all I would come back here in a heart beat! So much fun and the food was all solid!

Yelp
Kalaveras is new to Burbank and it is the current hotspot. I've been in several times I enjoy their happy hour. They also have Taco Tuesday on the tacos are I think $1.50 each. Pair that with some $8 happy hour nachos and you're good to go. I also tried out their new Margarita slushies. $10 it's a huge drink and it's frozen I got cucumber thinking it would be less sweet. It was less sweet and reminiscent of those 99 cent Margaritas you get in Vegas or used to get for 99 cents. The difference is man do these pack a punch! The drink was so refreshing I can't wait to try a different flavor next time. Kalaveras is always action-packed with several birthdays and that experience is not to be missed. Be sure to ask for them to celebrate you if it is your actual birthday and you're there! When they first opened they had this shiny smooth floor where when you sat down on the chairs you basically went flying. I was always afraid I was going to fall but they've textured it now and textured to the point where you can't even really move your chair around LOL. I noticed that whenever I'm there I never have any silverware brought to me. I don't know if it's because I'm sitting in the bar area or what the reason is but I've been there probably about five times and every single time no one brings me any silverware and I have to ask for it. Other than that everyone's friendly it's a fun place to be their food is good it's a tad dark and noisy in there they play a lot of videos loud but it's the place to be! Five stars, check it out.

Yelp
We dropped in for a late dinner at Kalaveras, and our excitement was totally justified! The music set the perfect vibe, and the margaritas were so good they practically danced off the menu. I couldn't get enough of the Pepinos con Chile margarita--it had just the right kick. If you're a margarita lover, I highly suggest the margarita flight. I wanted more of every single one! The food was just as impressive--flavorful and fun. Can't wait to go back and do it all over again!
