Had the best time while visiting Dallas. The DJ played great music all night long and the staff was friendly and fast service! I can’t wait to return next year if the trans organization make contest here again ☺️ and the drink Frozen Margarita was very good and delicious 😋🍹

The bartender seemed annoyed and had a hard time hearing me over the emcee. The audio setup could use a review and an adjustment keeping the guests in mind who would like to enjoy both the entertainment offered and their company's conversation.

The management seemed disorganized, creating awkward situations for both customers and staff. While the employees were polite, they looked uncomfortable asking customers to leave tables after sitting for hours. Clear leadership and better organization could make a big difference in improving the experience, but I don’t plan on going back again.

Not enough bartenders. There was a food truck but didn't look appealing.

We came here to have a good time and there was a miss understanding with the entrance with one of our friends which caused them to get kicked out. Then they started picking on another friend and said their ID was not theirs when it clearly was hers. We had to call the cops just to prove it was hers and yes it was her. She ended up with a big scratch on her arm because of the security pulling her out the coat room which everyone goes into Be warned that they need to be trained how to handle situations like this because the way they handled this one was all wrong.

I've always had an amazing time here at kaliente club been coming to this club for years love the drag shows and the drinks are very good and the bartenders are always very courteous and friendly for the comments that I read this is a gay bar so that's why there is not a lot of straight people that go there but for the straight people that do go there I've had friends that are straight have always had a good time there and a lot of my straight friends and gay friends still love this club and I am gay July 6 2024

Don't come here. Yes, I hate to say that but there are so many other places you can go in the gay bor hood. For starters the cover is $12. I don't mind it but the only other gay club that has a cover in Dallas is S4 and its $8. For $8 you get the rose room, an awesome DJ, two floors and they are open until 4am. This club closes at 2am. They have the highest priced drinks in gay area and they consistently go up in the cover every few months. Idk 4 me it ain't worth it. There are too many options in the area.

145 am and myself and 6 friends wanted to meet 4 other friends inside. We asked to come in to order just one (1) round of drinks (estimated 10 drinks at $10 min each drink ) is 100$ they wouldn't let us in 15 prior to closing. I asked the girl to call the manager and she refused and turned to her security officer boyfriend who said they didn't need our business. After explaining to her the business would make more money off of the 1-3 round of drinks than a round of cover she refuses to compromise and says they don't need our business. I hope the owner sees this and sees her front end person and security is denying them Business

I went to this establishment on Saturday 6/10/23. When I got ready to tab out the bartender tried to say that my card was declined and so I tried other cards and he kept saying the same thing. But then I when I arrived there I paid the cover for me and my friend with the same card and no issue. So they pulled me into a side room and was not going to let me leave and was treating me like some kind of criminal. So I located my friend and she paid the tab. But the next day I find that they indeed charged my card the 22 dollars for the cover charge and another 28 dollars and then my bank sends a text where they tried to charge my card another 46 dollars! Plus my friend who paid the tab they charged her 59 dollars. I declined the 46 dollar charge and cancelled my card. So if anyone here is a criminal it's the staff at Kalientes. Looks like they hire bartenders that want to commit fraud on their paying customers. So my advise to you is DONT USE YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS IN THERE !!!! I will never go back there. Plus the entire staff is rude and arrogant all the time. They should shut that place down !!!

Las bebidas súper caras y no creo en el alcohol que venden ahí ... tengan cuidado the same music for years the place looks like a trash cheap bar to charging admission. and the drinks are very expensive and besides I don't trust in that alcohol that is sold in that place!!! be careful

I've been coming here for 11 years and it has gotten much better each year, the staff is so friendly and nice to get along with. The club always has a variety in music, and entertainment to provide a fun, safe and good atmosphere for everything that visits.

I hadn't been to this bar since I was 21. A long time ago. Lol but, I was pleasantly surprised with the renovation and upkeep of the space. The staff was nice and the drinks are great.

Showed up 20 minutes before close to meet up with a friend and to see what it was all about. It's a $10 charge if you have cash and $11 charge if you pay with card... even if they're closing in 20 minutes. We already went out of our way to Uber there from uptown ($10 Uber) and then it was $33 for 3 people for 20 minutes. Who still charges covers? On top of that music was okay and staff was kind of rude. Definitely won't return and wouldn't recommend

This is a Latin club very urban and a very comfortable setting to come to .The staff and bartenders are extremely friendly there's hardly any problems from the time that I've been coming here . Its a very enjoyable time for me . it is very current on a lot of up-to-date activities and festive moments. Drinks are extremely good, on point, and bartenders are fast when large crowds are in the house. There is 2 outside patios to enjoy a quick smoke or a comfy flirtatious chat with your significant other. There is a snack bar outside of the club if you get hungry or feel like enjoying a corn in a cup and valet parking is available. I love it here!

My friend warned me the place was horrible but 'musica esta buenisima' so I went to check it out with them. The crowd is a little mixed--both lesbians and gay men. Age range varied from 20's to 40's. Mostly Latino, but a couple of other people were there too. The music ranged from dance, reggaeton, 90's rock en espanol, cumbia, tejano, and more. It is pretty dark and dirty. My main problem was the stupid fog machine..ughhhh so cheesy and unnecessary. The bartender we went to was really cool and they did accept credit cards..not sure what was going on when Cesar went. I prolly won't go back cuz it cost $7 and I hate paying to get into places.

Now I understand why people with money never go there. This place is only for Mexicans, Low IQ Owner, they will be selling the place in couple of months ! Poor management! Has been 7 years going to the same area and last years we start hearing good thing about the place but uffffff every time we went was full people but they are just stand, bad service, 2 bartenders for 298 people ! You need to be lucky to get a drink ! The entrance is $15.00 No parking only valet $10.00 drop and $10.00 pick up ! If you want a real bar there is a lot of options around this Kaliente ! Imposible to talk with the Sup. or the owner ! VERY LOW IQ PEOPLE !

If you are visiting Dallas...avoid this Bar...if you live in Dallas, you already have. Inconsistency at the door with rates...at the bar, the lowest alcohol percent that you will see in any Gay bar in Dallas. Rude Door man. Hard to park, only choice, valet...for a trashy bar. Away from the real quality bars and entertainment on the strip and others, tacky looking, out of date in an area where most properties are bought out to future proyects and investments. This one, I had to go thru the pain of experience myself, that is on it's last leg. Horrible. An Eye Sore.

New to Dallas. Was going to try the place out with the hubby; $10 parking (the guy actually chased me down when parking at Jack in the Box to collect) plus a $7 cover. I already drove out of the gayborhood to try the place; no thanks! I had a blast with free parking elsewhere; tab was $96..money well spent!

I have lived in Phoenix, Denver, Washington DC, Hong Kong, and Dallas, so have had some good exposure to clubs in a variety of places. The club is located a distance from the "gay strip", but only about 5 minutes. The club has a $7 cover charge for anyone over 21 and $15 for anyone under 21. The club is lots of fun on Saturdays, but not so exciting on any other day in my experience. Pros: - Great Music (Spanish, R&B, Dance) - Great Crowd (very friendly) - Very Friendly Staff Cons: - Ventilation - Size (Fire Marshall will come out on occasion and stop people from entering, so get there before 12:30) - Parking (just valet)

let me say first that I always call it Kaliente with a "K" - knowing its a "C". I dont know why i even went here. but i got frisked at the door, there was a rancid urine smell in the air, and after all di all my beer ordering - i find they dont accept credit cards. im sure tejano music is the alluring part of this place but for a non tejano music liking mexican - it sucked - it felt like a back alley (kinda is) dump w a bunch of spanish speaking johns waiting for the drunken moment of vulnerability - havent been back since - parking sucks - and it stinks (literally)

DISGUSTING place, rude employees. A friend bought me one of the tacos they sell at th exit door and got food poisoning. And if you aren't 21 just got with a bunch of friends and they won't ask you for ID they just asked to the friend that pay the covers. No security and if they have they don't see the business going on in the bathrooms.

Their are so many bad reviews! Well, I have been going to kaliente for several years. I don't go all the time, but if you want to see some great female impersonators that lip sink and proform in awesome culture costumes. Its a great place for you. I go during the week for the performances and less crowd and I don't recall paying cover charge. You do pay for valet. I recommend it to keep your car safe, but I have parked across the street on occasion and it was safe and free parking. Go see them and give them a tip. They are awesome, and the drinks and staff are very friendly.
