Kama Will Bring Indian Food to West Loop | Eater Chicago

"Vikram Singh opened his first location in suburban La Grange in 2009 and describes his approach as "Indian-inspired Americana." After a second Chicago location opened in 2023 along Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park, he and business partner Agnes Singh secured a West Loop lease for a third spot at 812 W. Randolph Street, planned for a mid‑August opening; Singh says real estate had previously priced him out and he’s excited to grow the brand in a high‑profile location. "Sometimes you could fool yourself, because your core customers are so loyal and sometimes forgiving," he adds, noting that a new neighborhood reveals how outsiders react. While regional Indian cooking has received more attention recently, he emphasizes, "We’ve been doing regional Indian for the last 10 years," and that "It would have been so easy for me to just stick to my Punjabi stuff, right?" The menu blends contemporary Indian and fusion cooking — highlighted dishes include Keralan fish fry; ravioli stuffed with paneer served in a thick tikka sauce; sticky tamarind baby back ribs (popular in La Grange); traditional North Indian staples such as rogan josh, samosa, and naan; and an experimental scallop dish he says crosses Indian and Italian cultures with bell peppers, romanesco, and makhani sauce. Agnes Singh oversees an inventive cocktail program often featuring elaborate garnishes and playful presentations, with a notable Purple Rain made with Japanese Gin Butterfly, lemongrass, lavender, grapefruit tonic, and Campari foam. The larger West Loop kitchen will allow testing of new items and a planned weekend brunch featuring shrimp and grits and fried chicken with Indian‑spiced hot honey. On atmosphere he warns, "Don’t expect to hear tabla and sitars on the sound system," preferring modern artists like Indian rapper Hanumankind: "I love Indian hip‑hop," Singh says. "And I know I’m a guy who’s much too old to be listening to hip‑hop, by the way." - Ashok Selvam

Inside Kama, Wicker Park’s new modern Indian restaurant | Eater Chicago

"Since debuting in 2009 in LaGrange, this suburban original introduced diners to fusion-style tacos and familiar American formats energized by Indian ingredients, aiming to ease locals into South Asian flavors well before turmeric and similar trends went mainstream." - Ashok Selvam

Kama Indian Restaurant Coming to Wicker Park | Eater Chicago

"Opened in 2009 in suburban LaGrange, this 170-seat Indian restaurant—co-founded by Vikram and Agnes Singh—quickly became known for elevating Indian cuisine in the Western Suburbs. Its name initially prompted confusion over its meaning, but over 14 years the owners established a reputation for serious, thoughtfully prepared North Indian dishes alongside a willingness to innovate, drawing on the founder’s New Delhi roots and a family history of French culinary training." - Ashok Selvam

Google
Kama was awesome as usual. It was fun to see sauces made with Carolina reaper pepper, especially on the Vindaloo We had the chutny platter to start always a great and light start. Wine availability was very good, my wife went the Shoofly Shiraz and enjoyed it. Its available at Binnys when you need more to eat your left overs. We order Saag sauce with lamb and vindaloo spicy with chicken. both dishes outstanding. Chef did not hold back of on the heat, so fun and tasty. If you want hot, go khama-kazee. The stuffed non was good, but plain non or garlic nan a much better choice! The Doorsa (basmati rice beer) was very qunching. Nice portions for price as well. Nice seeing people pouring in after 730. A real winner here!

Google
After hearing a lot of praise about this place, we went there to try it out. It sure did live up to its expectations! We tried a wide variety of items on the menu and nothing disappointed. Worth checking it out if you like Indian cuisine. PS- I did really like their take on some of the cocktails.

Google
I had the Beet & Goat cheeae salad ..garlic naan ..Samosa with spiced potatoes & peas . Red Curry Sauce.... ice tea .. The salad was fresh and tastee ..not so much a traditional Indian dish more of a Indian Fusion dish .. The samosas were flaky with a tastee spicy potato & pea mix .. The garlic naan was very good and when dipped in the curry sauce it made the order a hit .... OQ

Google
5 stars are hard for me, but Kama deserves it. The food, the service, the atmosphere are all 5 start worthy. The chicken vandaloo and black pepper masala are terrific. This is nowhere near our home, but we will be back to try the Buffet on Fathers Day.

Google
Honestly, this place was mediocre at best. The flavors just didn’t come together the way you’d expect at a place calling itself a bistro. Nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either—it all just felt a bit flat. Not a spot I’d go out of my way for again.

Google
Absolutely fantastic dining experience! This isn’t your typical Indian restaurant – The flavors were bold yet balanced, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. We loved everything from appetizer to main courses. – the tastes were unforgettable and I can’t wait to go back. Our server was outstanding as well. Loved everything, couldn’t have asked for a better meal. If you’re looking for Indian cuisine with a different flair, this place is a must-visit!”

Google
We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday and it was such a wonderful time. Everything was 💯 delicious and perfect. I parked at the deck in downtown Lagrange and just a block of walk to the restaurant. This is my second time here and both time was amazing. Service was excellent and non stop water refill and asking us if everything was good. We love the good food and wonderful service and it's so beautiful inside too. 10/10 for sure!

Google
Their new lunch menu is divine! You’ll want one of each but don’t skip on the mussels, the masala crab cake and the masala grilled cheese! Cocktails are insane! That Kamarita!!!

Yelp
My husband and I went to Kama Indian Bistro for a date night, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was delicious--he tried the Harissa Chicken Tikka appetizer and absolutely loved it. The chicken was tender, served in a rich and flavorful crème. For his main dish, he had the Kama Kaze Lamb Shank with ghost pepper, which packed a bold and spicy kick. I opted for garlic naan, puri, and spinach masala, all of which were fresh and full of flavor. Service was great; our waitress was kind and attentive, and despite the restaurant being nearly full, we were seated immediately. That really stood out to us because many places either make you wait or rely strictly on reservations. The hostess made sure to find a spot for us quickly, even on a Friday night at 6:30 PM, which is pretty rare. We waited about 25 minutes for our food, which was reasonable, and the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. Overall, Kama delivered an extraordinary experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for great Indian food in LaGrange.

Yelp
We celebrated my birthday last weekend here - snagging a table outside in the lovely weather. Unfortunately, it took a good 10-15 minutes before a waitress came to take our drink orders. It then improved from there. Drinks - they have a lovely selection of cocktails. I had the Pisco Inferno and Purple Rain where the Pisco was the clear winner. My husband stuck with a glass of red wine. For starters - we got the Goan Mussels - which we loved and the sauce was delicious. One nagging point was that no bread came with it - so we had to order naan with it. First place ever to get mussels w/o bread. Even the lunch order here comes with bread. Don't get me wrong - the garlic naan is wonderful and glad we ordered it - but odd to not even have some bread accompany the mussels. For entrees - I got the Black Pepper Masala w/ Lamb and my husband got the Seafood Mixed Grill. We enjoyed both dishes. I wish mine was more spicy - but I took one of the sauces from the mixed grill and add it it. The dish just need more spice to it - in my eyes. Overall - quite good - but a few points to improve on.

Yelp
Very good experience. Table next to me ordered shrimp and wow it really smelled sea food-y wafting over to our tables like wow SeaWorld for an app? The spicy panner dishes are fantastic and service solid. One issue, cost a star, was the oldest one in the book. get there earlyish like 6:30 lots of open tables and of course seater takes us to one of the worst seats in house. I know lots of restaurants do this but it is wrong on so many levels. like come on you see this is a woefully subpar table you are wanting to us to take in lieu of so many great tables. I don't care anymore why restaurants do this just stop it. Be better. now. Anyways VERY delicious, somewhat pricey overall but worth it and large portions of, food! Ps Fun, not inexpensive, foo-foo drinks abound. Pick-to-click is the PISCO INFERNO. This is posted on Lagrange yelp location for the answer to mgr.

Yelp
If you're looking for Indian food and kind of fancy, this is your spot. Felt so welcomed from the moment we walked in. It's a pretty big restaurant with a lot of seating. We did the restaurant week menu and was STUFFED. My husband got the pani puri which was probably the only dish we didn't like all night. The mango filling was way too sweet. Thankfully my goan mussels curry came just in time, it was absolutely delicious. I poured the curry into my puri shells and ate that. For entrees we got the chicken tikka and lamb shank vindaloo. The curries were so good. The vindaloo was just the right amount of spicy and the meat was falling off the bone. The chicken in the tikka was a little dry but still pretty good. We got rice with our dish and got a side of garlic naan. The naan was perfectly garlicky. Lastly for dessert I got the gulab jaman and my husband got the kulfi ice cream. He said the ice cream was a little gritty but to be expected when using kulfi, and the gulab jaman was very sweet but hit the sweet spot you want at the end of the dish. Overall we had plenty of food to bring home. And this was a great spot for restaurant week!

Yelp
This is my second time visiting Kama And this place never disappoints!! Tried the jackfruit tacos for the first time and absolutely loved it !! They are perfect balance of sweet and tangy :) The Roganjosh was absolutely fantastic and soft and tender! And of course my fav mango lassi !! Service was a bit slow due to weekend rush! I would visit this place again :)

Yelp
My friend suggested this place last year and I decided to try it out for myself. We decided to go at 6pm to beat the dinner rush on a Friday. As the night progressed the place was getting packed. The place was very spacious with a bar in the center once you walk in. The drinks looked amazing. Since it was a dry January for me, I only looked at what people orders. We ordered a couple of the appetizers (Samosas and Mussels) to start. Both were so good. Inside of the samosas was flavorful with every bite. The mussels were delicious as well. We both had an entree. I ordered the mixed lamb grill. The lamb chops were so tender and the spiced lamb skewered meats were perfectly cooked. I loved the greens on top paired well with the savoriness of the meats. I ordered the Aloo Gobi as a side for my main dish. The cauliflower and potatoes were a nice offset of the lamb as well. We had three orders of the garlic naan. Love the large chunks of garlic! The staff were super nice, attentive and very accommodating. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu!

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place. We came here for a happy hour dinner after a long day at work. We loved the vibe and the decor. We were impressed that our friendly server greeted us right away and that there was a pitcher of water, silverware and sharing plates on the tables. For drinks we ordered the Thursday night special flight of cocktails which was fantastic. We loved the unique flavors and fresh mixers. Hubbie also had an Indian beer. We then had small plates of a beet salad, curried mussels with garlic naan for dipping, their very unique tacos, and chicken shish kebab. Every dish was fresh and delicious. We very much enjoyed our dinner and look forward to our next visit.

Yelp
The food was amazing! I could end right there. I visited on a Tuesday for a late lunch; there were probably 2 other people/pairs there. The lobster molly dish was amazing, but pretty spicy. Order only if you don't mind that extra kick. I also highly suggest the lamb-stuffed naan. I could've gotten more but decided to be normal. The crispy potatoes were delicious. I also love that they serve bread pudding - it's getting harder and harder to find! I can't wait to return for happy hour.

Yelp
Kama Bistro is an awesome experience. The food is delicious, the cocktails are fun and inventive and the service is wonderful. We started going to "Kama" for special occasions but that has turned into a much more regular event. We love it and urge anyone who loves Indian food to enjoy!

Shelly S.

Yelp
The food is consistently delicious!! The chicken tikka masala is my favorite. But watch out..... the mild definitely has a kit to it I would highly recommend this restaurant. You know it's good when it's crowded every night.

Yelp
A superb dinner for my sister & I. As usual, we ordered too many of their fine selections, so we each brought a doggy bag home. Walter was so knowledgeable & patient as we had multiple questions. As he was taking our orders, he didn't write anything down. Yet, everything was perfect!! My favorite dishes were the samosas & the prawns. Completely filled samosas were fried to the ideal crisp. Although the prawns weren't breaded, they were so fresh that they had their own crunch!! If there was something too spicy or sweet, I ate some of the rice or the naan bread with it. I love that the carbs balanced the flavors of the other dishes. Yet I have an option between them. As dimly-lighted, they offer a romantic, somewhat intimate dining area. My opinion is they're not expecting children as patrons. Located on a main street, there's also a huge parking lot in the back.

Yelp
Our daughters birthday dinner was at Kama and it was a special dinner indeed. The cocktails were very unique - one that had a rosemary twig smoldering, and one with an egg white froth. The yellow dal with garlic Naan was the perfect starter. The dal was delicious but I was surprised in the reduced portion size of their Naan- just one slice. They used to serve enough for 2-3 people to share and that's not the case anymore. The spinach saag with lamb was tender with a distinct umami flavor. The Aloo Gobi was perfectly steamed with the right amount of spices to complement the dish. The tiki masala was also delicious and served with a hearty portion of basmati rice. Service was good and the atmosphere was beautiful. Overall, a destination for fine Indian food.

Yelp
Stopped in for an early dinner which happened to coincide with the start of their happy hour! The Kama-Rita cocktail was a splendid experience - beautiful blend of turmeric and tamarind with tequila and a coconut rim. The samosas were well-spiced, warm, and had a wonderfully crisp exterior. For entrees, we got the lamb tikka masala and chicken black pepper bhujnee. The sauce in the tikka masala was packed with flavor and very tomato-forward. Our server was friendly and checked on us during our meal. The atmosphere felt upscale yet relaxing. We could tell that the staff take pride in their establishment; I noticed them precisely position silverware and clean less accessible areas of the space during the course of our meal. Would not hesitate to recommend a visit here!

Yelp
For the many times that I've been to Chicago, this restaurant tops my list of favourite's here! This fine dine restaurant offers an eclectic menu with some refreshing flavors. Interiors are dark with soft lights and light music. We started with a round of drinks, I got the mango martini and my husband got the Goan old fashioned - both excellent! I could tell the mango martini had fresh mango puree and it was on the sweeter side but I really enjoyed it. For apps, we got the mixed chicken platter - our server told us that this would take some time because it is made to order. Juiciest chicken which myriad flavors - took me to the streets of Mumbai! So good! We also got the lamb chops which melted as we took a bite. For mains, we got the chicken pepper curry and the sea bass - again, very flavorful with the right amount of spice. I'm usually not someone who picks peppery things but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. For dessert, we got the Ras malai and that was probably one of the least sweet Ras malai I've ever had. They were out of the gulab jamun so we tried the coconut kheer brûlée which was also pretty good ( I'm not a kheer person but I liked this). Overall, our meal couldn't have been better. This place checks all the boxes - food, ambiance and service and I highly recommend trying this for your next dinner/date night!

Yelp
My all time favorite Indian restaurant. I don't get to go often as I wish I could but whenever I do go, I always order the crispy chili potatoes. My friends and I always do family style, the portion is great for the price. The service is amazing. The vibe of the restaurant is chill. There's 2 dinning areas at this restaurant and I've dined both side. There's inner of the restaurant is quiet and romantic ish. The front of the restaurant is chill and dark mood. Definitely try this spot out even if you are ordering take out.
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered the chicken tikka masala, mixed lamb grill tandoori, dal makhani, rice, and garlic naan. My favorite part of the meal was the flavor and tenderness of the chicken in the tikka masala and the lamb chops. I would highly recommend both of those (get the lab chop tandoori, not the mixed)! We also got a side of the dal makhani with a warm, comforting flavor and a touch of spice. The garlic naan had loads of garlic on it but I couldn't taste any! Overall, the food was great and well prepared, but I wish the serving size for the tikka masala was larger, the garlic naan maintained the garlic flavor, and the rice was included. The water was also room temperature but I'm sure they could bring out ice cold water if you asked. The staff was very friendly and the interior of the restaurant was clean and modern. Overall, a great spot, but also pretty pricey.

Yelp
I've always loved Indian food, but Kama Bistro brings it to the next level! Their flavors are authentic but they put a contemporary spin on things, with elevated plating and a super innovative cocktail program. I highly recommend visiting if you haven't already!

Ravi S.

Yelp
Great vibes, amazing service and the food was authentic and delicious - best spot in the western suburbs. q:-)

Yelp
Last night was our third time coming here and every time it has been absolutely excellent. We had Goan Mussels for an appetizer and the broth was fantastic. For dinner we had the Lamb Vindaloo (hot) and the Chicken Achari Masala (medium). Both were great. We've never had a bad dish there.
google avatar

Samara L.

Yelp
All of the things! Food is ah-mazing. I felt like I was dining in another country. The Samosas (veg and lamb), the cocktails (art), the bartender is Johnny. Masoor was so welcoming, service was excellent. Timing of food wonderful. The ambiance was so relaxing regardless of how busy it was. Make your reservation. Keep your reservation.

Eddie F.

Yelp
The experience wad amazing. All the food was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The sea bass was the best I've had to date. The drinks were tasty. I will definitely return.

Yelp
I haven't actually eaten at the restaurant, but we did order their pre-marinated chicken to bring home and grill. first off, the price is great. you get 2 lbs of chicken for $15. easily feeds 4 people the flavor in this chicken is just amazing. incredibly savory and just the right amount of heat. I dare anyone to accuse it of being bland. we also got some rice, naan, paneer tikka masala, and one other dish. I stuck to the chicken because it was so good, but I did put the paneer sauce on my rice, and it had great flavor. I'm kind of glad I don't live near Kama, because I'd end up buying this chicken constantly!

Yelp
Finally made it here for dining, even though we live 1 mile away. The food and drinks were outstanding. Great appetizers and the lamb dishes were excellent and next time we go we plan to walk there. Great menu and several other things that we want to try.

Yelp
Food was very good and service was very attentive. Our first time trying and we were very pleased.

Yelp
Great Indian food but pricy at this place in LaGrange. It can really break the bank if you get one of the more expensive entrees that aren't really that big of a portion. Kama Bistro has a few that are a lot more affordable though. Flavors are authentic and you can adjust the heat. There's lots of things for vegetarians and healthy options. Came at lunch and it wasn't busy. It seems like it would be a more popular place for dinner. This is because of the sky high prices. Cheapest entrees are about $17, and there's some that are like $40 or more. Of course we got the cheaper stuff. I got Spinach Masala, which came with a protein choice. The Channa Chickpeas is one for vegetarians, and meat eaters can get chicken or whatever. In this item, there was coarse ground spinach, seasoned with chili flavors, dill, fenugreek, and garlic. This also includes a side of basmati rice. Here you can get kind of expensive or very expensive. It also has weekly specials on stuff like appetizers and smaller things. There's many options for vegans and vegetarians.

Yelp
I do not recommend this place. The food is not authentic and I did not enjoy eating there on a variety of levels. What kind of Indian place serves beef? Tacos? I could make a lot of criticisms but let's just say that your money could be spent better elsewhere.
google avatar

Miranda P.

Yelp
Chose to come here for a special New Year's Day dinner and it did not disappoint! We ordered the chicken harissa and samosa appetizers, grilled lamb platter and the lamb rogan josh. Such a wonderful meal and a mix of everything for everyone to enjoy. Our 2-year-old especially loved the lamb rogan josh with rice! Beautiful ambiance, while still family friendly. Definitely a favorite for us.
google avatar

Siobhan D.

Yelp
Attentive service and really unique and delicious Indian food! There was a big family birthday party going on in the front room - everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'd consider hosting a family event here. My meal was delicious- vegetarian samosas and a warm potato dish with a flavorful warm cashew sauce. Be sure to order the garlic naan as there is a lot of extra sauce.
google avatar

Matt H.

Yelp
I'm getting to be a repeat offender here, and frankly I'm not ashamed one bit. The menu is awash with dishes to delight, and since spice levels and proteins can be customized to suit your tolerance, nothing is off limits. From simple naan, salads, and starters (taco trio is a hit), to the curries and sides, you will be pleased. The restaurant is comfortably dark, making the each table feel intimate, and the service is always warm and welcoming.
google avatar

Monica T.

Yelp
The food is delicious! The garlic naan and yogurt dip was delicious together. The Lemon Chicken appetizer was So amazing the chicken literally melts in your mouth. This dish can be spicy so order mild if you can't handle the kick. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is both lively and cozy. Beautiful decor! The ceiling and lights are gorgeous.

Yelp
Had dinner at Karma Bistro. Our server was amazing and very accommodating. We left her a generous tip for her service. Shortly, after paying our bill, the hostess came to our table and told us to leave. I was shocked beyond words. I told her I just paid over 250.00 for dinner and you're telling me I need to leave. I understand it was busy however, the tone and attitude of the request was very unprofessional and rude. I spoke with the manager and he did acknowledge the hostess could have handled this situation in a more professional manner. However, I'm appalled by the lack of professional courtesy and respect for the customer dinning experience. I have over 42 years in customer care experience and management. I would have never treated a customer this way.
google avatar

Bunny P.

Yelp
Outstanding! Everything you've read about in reviews is true, so I'm not going to waste time explaining. You can take the BNSF straight there from the city or suburbs- great service, food taste very good, enough for leftovers the next day and filling. Service is so friendly and willing to explain if you need help. Didn't taste like a wannabe, it was fabulous.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is very good and spices are quite authentic. It is a once in a while experiment if you are not up to the unique spice combinations. Service was also very good. It is worth checking out if you are in the area.

Yelp
Kama bistro is an upscale restaurant located in downtown the bustling LaGrange downtown area. The ambiance here is very nice, especially for an Indian restaurant. It can get crowded so be aware if you're looking to visit with a big group here. The menu has some unique items with a Western India bent (Goan flavors) to the menu. I will say the flavors tend to be a little watered down/less spicy and less authentic, but the food here is high quality. It is definitely a little pricier than the average Indian restaurant but worth it in my opinion- definitely try it if you're in the area!
google avatar

Grant B.

Yelp
Ate here for their Restaurant Week menu. It was fantastic. I had the mussels (best dish), lamb masala, and a rice pudding brûlée for dessert. It was all amazing. Highly recommend this place

Anupama U.

Yelp
Simple Indian potatoes tasted horrible. I would not recommend this place. You can come here to have nice cocktails with your friends.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The food is delicious even their tea and cocktails! My husband and I enjoyed our first time having brunch. This time I went back with a friend from out of town. She loved it. It can be a bit on a pricy side with entrees but it's definitely worth it. The staff is welcoming and provided great recommendations. There's veggie and meat options. The place is large for big groups. There was public parking for free. Overall, I am a huge fan!

Yelp
Always love coming here. Food, service and ambience are amazing. We've been here many times and are never disappointed. Would highly recommend Kama Bistro to anyone!

Yelp
Went to Kama Bistro for the first time during dinner this week. I had heard so many great things over the years and decided to try it. I'm not sure if I was building it up too high, but I wasn't blown away by any means. It was good, but did not impress me. The one thing that I really enjoyed was the mussels. I was hoping for some goan spices, but it seemed like they cooked them in standard Makhani. For our mains, we had the lamb shank, the chicken Makhani, the Goan fish curry, and the dal. The Makhani and Fish Curry were solid but not amazing. The dal was kind of dry and grainy, and the lamb shank was very fatty. We also closed the meal with a Chai and it was not great. The service itself was great, our waiter was very attentive and food was brought out in a timely and accurate matter. I really wanted to like this place, but it just didn't meet my expectations.

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant thrice. The ambience food and service , everything is just spot on! definitely try their cocktails, they are unique with indian touch.

Yelp
The food here is always delicious no matter what I order. Consistent and delicious authentic, innovative food.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed the Food, Drinks and the Service. Mixed Lamb Grill, Chicken Tikka Harissa and the Halibut in Kerala fish curry stood out. I would go back just for them. Service was also prompt and attentive. Awesome experience overall.

Yelp
We have enjoyed the food from Kama about 8 times. We have dined in and ordered to be delivered. We have never been disappointed! The food is fresh and delicious. It is a little pricy, but we always get another meal from the leftovers, so really, the price is reasonable. We love the tikka masala and vindaloo, samosas and naan. I had a mango martini when dining at the restaurant that was really delicious! The restaurant has great atmosphere and is a very nice vibe. The food does not suffer when you get delivery. We will continue to be faithful customers.

Alexander V.

Yelp
The food and drinks were nothing short of fantastic, the service was superb, and the atmosphere was cozy, clean and not overwhelmingly loud despite the restaurant being quite busy. If you're a big fan of spicy, try ordering the vindaloo kama kaze. Hot enough to make you sweat while still being delicious and edible. I'd also recommend ordering a hot tea after the meal. Our waitress recommended a blend of the rooibos "Love" tea and the herbal "Temple of Heaven" tea and it was just lovely. This place is simply a must if you're a fan of Indian food. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Indian food and I don't know why it took me so long. I've never tried this place before but I just so happened to find it on uber eats and was comparing the prices to other Indian restaurants in my area. I realized Indian food is indeed expensive lol I'm very happy I chose this place in regards to the price and quality of the food. Don't make fun of my choices, as they are very basic and probably what everyone else on the planet orders when they get Indian food for the first time... Vegetable samosa: These had primarily potatoes and peas inside. Very delicious but I'm sad one order only came with 2 pieces. I loved all the spices and aromas I'm usually not used to. These came with 2 sauces but I'm not sure what they're called. One was dark brown and kind of sweet and the other sauce was green and more savory/spicy. Garlic naan: This was a must for me. I love naan in general and I knew I had to eat it with the tikka masala I ordered. So fresh and airy. Butter naan: I was so excited because Uber eats had a promotion so I got butter naan for free! This was delicious as well even though it had a more plain flavor. I will never say no to free bread! Basmati rice: I was very surprised by the portion size. For $3, I was expecting a mini portion of rice enough for one person. However, I got a huge portion of rice that could've easily fed 2, even 3 people. The rice was super fresh, light and soft. Chicken tikka masala (mild): I appreciated greatly that you can choose the spice level especially since this was my first time trying Indian food. I opted for 'mild' to be on the safe side. Everything from the color to the taste was amazing. I loved dipping the naan in the sauce. You get nice big pieces of soft chicken smothered in the sauce. Very very good!

Yelp
I figured it was time to an updated review. Not much has changed. I've been here many times at this point. The food is very high quality and SO yummy. It's our fav Indian place. I love that it's trendy (I mean you can be casual if you want)- unlike most Indian restaurants around here that have a less modern vibe. I have not had anything here I didn't love. Service is usually great but have had a couple misses, but they certainly made up for it and I didn't have a bad experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Upscale Indian restaurant that's perfect for date night!! The Tandoori Lamb Chop appetizer was to die for - the lamb was so tender and the sauce 10/10. Service was a little slow on drinks and it's important to note that the mango martini was more like a mango smoothie. But overall, the food was extremely flavorful and I can't wait to go back :)
