Kamandalu Ubud

Kamandalu is one of the most premium properties, as far as my knowledge and research go. We stayed here for 3 days, and our experience was "unforgettable". The rooms are well maintained, and the staff are friendly to the guests. This luxury property is the best for "leisure", "nature lovers", and "photophiles". They offered a free upgrade to a private pool villa room on the last day of our stay, which added an extra bit of joy for us. ||The restaurant has limited options for breakfast, but the quality is excellent, and the staff takes care of the fine details of the food. They prepared Indian Masala Tea for me, and it was like the tea I usually have at home. ||I liked your free shuttle service to Ubud Market. ||My suggestions to the resort management:|# The size of the drinking water bottle (2 bottles a day) should be increased. At least, guests need 2 litres of water per day.|# There are old televisions in some garden room villa. It doesn't support YouTube and other OTT platforms. These are common nowadays, so please upgrade your TV to a smart TV. Though we had a smart TV on the last day (in the Private Pool Villa Room).|# The lighting in the room is dim, and during the rainy season, when the sky is overcast, the overall vibe feels a bit gloomy.

We enjoyed our stay at Kamandalu. We had the two-bedroom suite with a private pool. The hospitality of ALL the staff was excellent. Breakfast was good and sufficient. However, a daily variation in the noodle section and local pancakes would have been good. The property is well maintained, and all facilities in the room worked. The mosquito net on the bed brought me childhood memories. I would return for a break at Kamandalu. Keep up the good work.

Staying at Kamandalu Ubud was, without a doubt, the best resort experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property, the peaceful atmosphere, and most of all, the incredible hospitality. The staff at Kamandalu truly understand what it means to take care of their guests — we felt so welcomed and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergies, which made me feel incredibly safe and at ease. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared, and I never had to worry. One of the highlights of our trip was the cooking class — it was so much fun and a wonderful way to connect with Balinese culture in a hands-on, delicious way. Our villa was stunning — beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and perfectly private. Every detail was taken care of, and we felt like royalty the entire time. The grounds are lush and serene, and every corner of the resort feels like a little slice of paradise. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and professional. Their genuine kindness and attentiveness made such a difference and left a lasting impression on us. If you’re looking for a resort that combines beauty, comfort, and impeccable service, Kamandalu Ubud is the place. We can’t wait to return someday — this place is truly special.

Absolutely stunning. My partner and I stayed here a week and we loved it. The staff are beyond welcoming, incredibly friendly and very accomodating. The food was lovely - hot tip don’t skip out on the buffet breakfast. During our stay, we experienced a lot of rain despite it being the dry season and we only experienced about two days of sun, but we still had a fantastic trip. We highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation to unwind.

We decided to take a short break and spend 4 nights in Ubud at Kamandalu.|The villa was well appointed and very comfortable. It was a very quiet resort and all the accommodation is very private. Staff were excellent and very helpful. They even arranged a private driver for us for the day which for Australian standards was very cheap and allowed us to do a bespoke itinerary. The shuttle to the town centre was also a bonus.|We only swam in the pools very briefly as it was raining most days. Yoga was lovely in the forest canopy and we both had the best massage at the spa.|The food was good but not much variety and we ended up eating a lot away from the hotel despite having all food included in our package. If we went back, we would not include food in our booking.|Overall, a lovely stay.

Had the most gorgeous stay in the Rama Villa with our children. The views over the valley/ jungle combined with the exquisite pools and spas made for a serene stay. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from the Centre which made for easy exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful and always made us feel at home. Breakfasts were amazing, especially the noodles for the kids.

Magical experience! The atmosphere of the hotel is very pleasant and beautiful, this place is very suitable for vacation and relaxation. The staff here are also very friendly in serving us, every location in this place has its own beauty. The flower bath, made our honeymoon extra special. Thank you to the staff for making us feel so amazing.

Thebhotel is very nice and comfortable for families. We are stayed in a villa with private pool, there is also a small pool for our children in the main pool with sun loungers. The receptuon was very helpful and all the staff were very friendly. We are very happy and memorabke stay at Kamandalu. Will be back for our next vacation in Ubud. Thank you Kamandalu.
