Kamandalu Ubud

Our two-night stay at Kamandalu Ubud in a One Bedroom Pool Villa was truly an exceptional and deeply memorable experience. From the very beginning, the resort impressed us with its peaceful atmosphere and attention to detail. Our villa felt like a private retreat tucked away in nature — spacious, elegant, and extremely secluded. The private pool, surrounded by tropical greenery, created a sense of total relaxation and privacy that made it hard to ever leave the villa. One of our favorite moments was enjoying the floating breakfast in our pool. The food was fresh and delicious, but what made it special was the calm, unhurried start to the day in such a beautiful setting. We also indulged in a massage at the Forest Spa, which was incredibly soothing and perfectly immersed in nature. A special thanks to Lestari and Sudiani, whose skilled and gentle treatments made the experience truly outstanding. The romantic candlelight dinner was another highlight of our stay — beautifully prepared, intimate, and accompanied by excellent cuisine and attentive service. It was the perfect setting for a special evening. We also really enjoyed the koi pond boat ride, a lovely and unique experience that added a magical touch to the resort. Arya, the boatman, was very kind and shared interesting insights about the pond, which made it even more enjoyable. What makes Kamandalu Ubud truly special is the genuine hospitality of the entire team. The staff consistently went above and beyond, always smiling and making sure we felt welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Kamandalu Ubud is an ideal choice for couples seeking romance, honeymooners, or anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil escape in Ubud. Our time there was unforgettable, and we already look forward to coming back.

This experience was absolutely incredible from the very first moment — it began with them picking me up right at my villa, which immediately set the tone for a seamless, stress-free day.||The staff were so warm, kind, and genuinely grateful to be servicing me that I honestly felt spoiled with love the entire time. Before the treatments even began, they took me to the forest swing so I could get photos — such a thoughtful touch and such a beautiful way to ease into the experience.||Next was the aromatherapy foot bath, which was the perfect grounding start. Calm, relaxing, and exactly what my body needed. Then came the massage… wow. Desi was awesome. Perfect pressure, incredibly soothing, and she even included my scalp — I was in heaven. I can’t fully remember the foot reflexology because I passed completely out, which honestly speaks for itself.||The body scrub was another surprise highlight. It felt nice during the treatment, but it wasn’t until I showered afterward that I realized just how good it was — my skin was unbelievably soft.||The experience ended with a smoothie and healthy drink enjoyed in front of the infinity pool. I will say I was originally expecting a smoothie bowl and a healthy drink, but instead received a smoothie and a healthy drink — which felt like a lot of liquid — but honestly, that small detail didn’t take away from how amazing everything else was.||Overall, this was one of the most relaxing, thoughtful, and well-rounded spa experiences I’ve ever had. Between the setting, the staff, the treatments, and the little extra touches, this is 100% worth booking. Do yourself a favor and book it in — you won’t regret it. 🌿✨

We stayed two nights for our honeymoon. The experience at the traditional Ubud house was excellent. Perhaps because it was February, the resort was quiet and peaceful. I used a large pool villa, and I can go straight to the pool from my room. When I made the reservation, I mentioned it was my honeymoon, and there were various free benefits. I was able to enjoy benefits such as daily breakfast, free cocktails, a free one-hour massage, and a candlelight dinner. The staff were also very kind. And the forest massage was the best experience. If you're not sensitive to bugs, be sure to try it. The food at Kamandalu Ubud restaurant is also very delicious!

The hotel is beautiful and offers lots of fun activities. I had an amazing time at the picnic on the boat. Arya was fantastic at guiding poses for the photos and making sure I was comfortable with them. They gave me plenty of time, rowing the boat and feeding the fish. Arya was really nice and focused on me the whole time, it was awesome. The food platter was really good and had a great variety.

Exceptional. 30 year old resort but still in pristine condition. we loved the spacious villa overlooking the peaceful green valley. Would go again. Staff were amazing. stay included breakfast in the pool and other activities.

Wonderful spot and excellent service! I just did a Pool Day Pass so I can’t comment on the rooms but the day pass experience was great! Included with the pool pass is a free beer and choice of burger or pizza for food plus a towel. They also gave me a free orange infused shot! There is an outside shower and restroom nearby as well. I loved watching the monkeys swing from tree to tree right from the infinity pool. Beautiful view and friendly staff. 🙂

We came to Kamandalu for a break from a hectic few months and it was the perfect reset. Our room was beautiful and the private pool made it feel like a secluded jungle escape. The romantic dinner on our first night was incredible. The food had unique flavors we had never experienced before. The highlight was the Body, Mind, and Spirit Journey. Shirodhara was a revelation for silencing mental noise and the chakra sound healing cleared away all our fatigue. It felt like a genuine spiritual experience rather than a standard spa treatment. We left feeling light and balanced. This is the place to go if you need to truly unplug.

My husband & I spent 3 nights & it was our first time. Love everything there! The hospitality of each staff is incredible, they made us feel at home. The resort is well maintained, very clean & neat. I loved the activities catered for many interests. We managed to join the morning yoga classes & loving it. I loved the breakfast, w so many healthy choices like smoothie bowls, healthy juices, etc. The homemade pineapple jam & jamu kunyit are my fav! I managed to have slow living for several days in the resort, w all of my body sensory being awaken. I came home refreshed & reset. Thank you, Kamandalu! Keep it up!
