Kamanza

Really nice place, good service and good food. The music is really amazing.

We had a delicious selection of food at Kamanza tonight. Everything was cooked fresh to order. The Tempura was so delicately battered . The mackerel was massive and so tasty. I asked for sake and was asked hot or cold? I’ve only ever had cold so I tried both! And both are delicious 🥰. We all (4 of us ) would recommend 😃

Very ready to give it a 5 ⭐️ until we were sick of waiting for our last few dishes.. ⏰ the first few dishes were served in quick succession and we were properly filled within the first 30 minutes. Unfortunately our buttered squid, buttered scallops, fried noodles and porridge came only 60+ minutes after we sat - leaving a good 30 minutes of wait.. That said, all the dishes but the fried noodles were good. Special call outs to: Buttered squid 🦑 Eringi (some mushrooms with bacon) 🍄 💴 price was rather affordable too - at 8000+ yen for 4 pax (without alcohol)

Lovely experience and the food is brilliant. We ate here on the first night in Kyoto, me and my family love the food. Thank you to all the staff for making it a lovely evening.

Food is really good. There is a long line but this restaurant is worth the wait. They serve really good authentic Kyoto cuisine. The staff are really nice. Quality of food is good and worth the price. Highly recommend this place.

We had dinner for two. The food was good, the atmosphere very pleasant and staff friendly!

This place was great! We had some standard things kerage, fried chicken skins, deep fried chicken skewers and it was the best we’ve had in Kyoto. Lots of choices on the menu. I’m not much of an adventure eater and ordered gratin chili tofu because I love chili and just wanted to try something new. Wow! This dish was good enough that I never need to eat meat again…ever! It was a special of the day and I had a second order. Really enjoyed our meal and we’ll definitely go back before we leave. Reasonable prices, good portions. English menu but doesn’t list everything available. Probably a good idea to book, relatively small place completely full at 7:00.

Excellent service and food! Really enjoyed our dinner and would come back. They have an English menu and made it very easy to order even with our limited Japanese. All of our food was awesome
