Kampa Park

"Kampa Park is stunningly located by the water’s edge, next to Charles Bridge. Choose from several dining areas: the best spots are the Winter Garden and the riverside terrace. The décor is contemporary, as is the interesting menu." - Michelin Inspector

An unforgettable fine dining experience in the heart of Prague! Kampa Park offers not only exquisite food but also the most breathtaking view of Charles Bridge. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The tasting menu was a perfect journey through modern European cuisine, with highlights including the fresh seafood and perfectly cooked beef tenderloin. The wine pairing elevated the entire experience even further. Dining on the terrace with the iconic bridge lit up in the background made the evening feel truly special. Whether you’re a local or visiting Prague, Kampa Park is a must for anyone looking for an exceptional culinary experience with a world-class view.

We believe the 4,5 evaluation really doesn’t do just to the place and it should be 4,8. This because of the Amazing food, super friendly and professional and smiling service by Martin, great view over the Vltava and towards the Charles Bridge. Not cheap but worth it, especially for some more special occasions. Highly recommended!

Google
One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Although they don't have a Michelin star at the time of this review, they certainly deserve it on food and service. Highly recommend the burger for lunch and the veal tartar. Enjoy the outside views and the awesome service.

We had a lovely meal here tonight and were blown away by the service and the food. We were welcomed from the moment we arrived until we left. Every dish for our group of six was exceptional. Incredible presentation and taste served by a fantastic waiter. And I haven’t even mentioned the great location looking over the Charles Bridge. Don’t miss this place if you are visiting Prague!

Google
The food was excellent and so was the service. The place had a beautiful view of the river and bridge. We came at the right time to watch the sun set and the bridge lights come on. They also had blankets on their chairs in case it was a little chilly while inside. The food was very beautifully prepared and my friend remarked it was the best food she had in Prague. This place was recommended by our Uber driver, and we are very pleased we came. Overall, a great evening

Google
The view over Charles bridge was one of a kind, world classic! Make sure you get a table on the upper terrace! We made a mistake on staying inside out of fear for the weather, but the fire heating was efficient and very nice, so don’t miss this out! The food was good quality, nothing to say. Of course you need to pay a certain price as well. The service was professional, but kind of distanced, and we didn’t really appreciate it when we were told by our waiter” service is not included, shall we say 10%”. Since we were not Americans, the service tips for us is kind of way of expressing our appreciations to the service, rather than sth imposed on us. So just a minor disappointment.

The view from outside of the Charles Bridge is wonderful. They have plenty of heaters if you get cold, blankets too. Make a reservation. We got lucky. The salmon marinated in miso served with a Wasabi pea puree was delicious. Best salmon I've ever had. The servers were friendly and very attentive. I would eat here again.

(Last visited February 8th, 2025.) Wandering around Prague and I notice this gorgeous blue Ferrari Roma parked outside of what looked like a hotel So I went to check it out and nearby it was a sign for Kampa Park. I tried to go check it out, but there was no availability, so I came back the next day and here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is HUGE many different faces and areas. It was quiet for a Saturday night in my opinion, but I was sat in the premium section right on the water looking directly at The Charles Bridge! Beautiful views, but… if it’s winter, the windows are drafty for sure. Wear long sleeves. I arrived at 5:40pm for my 6:00pm reservation. I loved the dimly lit, romantic ambiance this place provided. Service: Nicole, the manager was so nice and sweet to me when I came on Friday trying to eat, couldn’t because they were fully booked, but then she found me a reservation for the next day. She took an interest in me and I felt so special. Then my server the next day was awesome as well, I just forgot to get his name. Food: There were several menus to choose from. Kampa Park always seems to run a special menu of sorts and this time it was the Lobster Menu where everything was lobster-focused. I steered away from that because... I'm from New England! I know lobster! Lol. I wanted to try their tasting menu and here's how it went! Amuse Bouche: Phenomenal. Easily can taste the price different between last night and tonight already. Well balanced, well, seasoned, good flavors, light, crispy exterior and the sauce helped so much. 1st Course (Octopus Carpaccio): So flavorful. Light. Citrusy, a little sweet, but the octopus was still so surprisingly tender even though it was sliced so thin! Not being much of an octopus eater, I think I prefer THIS style over having much bigger bites of octopus. I could totally tolerate it more! 2nd Course (Veal Tartare): So visually appealing and the truffle smell just makes your mouth water! I literally laughed when u took a bite because it was that incredible. The truffle cream is HEAVY with truffle flavor so if you don’t like truffle, I feel sorry for you. Lol. The veal is tender, succulent, soft and this dish is excellent. The bread is much softer than it leads on to be since it’s toasted. The texture of the dish can get to you after a little bit of eating, but that’s what the bread is for. The quail egg provided quite the show when it exploded, but I don’t think its flavor added to the dish. 3rd Course (Wild Line Caught Seabass): Blown away by how simple, yet complex the dishes are. I loved the crispy skin on the seabass. Risotto had the SLIGHTEST bit of crunch, (but maybe it’s supposed to be like that?) Flavors were mild and just worked so well. Filling dish too. But I won’t like, the risotto felt more like the star of the dish than the seabass. It kinda got lost since it had such a light flavor. 4th Course: (Japanese Kobe Beef Strip Loin): Kobe beef was tender, flavorful, but there were some fatty pieces attached to the meat. The meat definitely melted in your mouth. The spiral potatoes were delicious, cooked well and served as a good compliment to the steak. Carrots were fine, nothing to write home about, but I kept coming back to that beef. It was so good and so flavorful. I’m a bit upset at the amount of fat I cut off of my steak. I feel like if I’m paying this kind of money, I should be able to eat everything on my plate. 5th Course (Dark Chocolate Tart): Dessert was extraordinary. Honestly, my favorite course of the evening. There were surprises, flavors, filling-ness, visual appeal and it was executed so well. The chocolate was rich, but not too sweet. The ice cream was super fruity and had a natural sweetness. This was so well done. Value: This menu was $166.00USD and the wine pairing was another $80.00. I didn't mention the wines in my review because I'm just not good at reviewing wine. Lol. They went very well with each dish and I certainly left with a great buzz! In conclusion, I loved it here and would absolutely return!

Yelp
Excellent meal tonight with an excellent view of the Charles Bridge. Seated at the interior terrace and recommend that. Food was spectacular and the service was the same. This has to be one of the top restaurants in Prague.

Ahmed S.

Yelp
A must go to restaurant in Prague. White cloth dining and outside patio with the next view overlooking Charles Bridge

Richard Y.

Yelp
Great location, just at the end of Charles bridge with great view to the river and bridge. The food is great, especially the veal, it's must try. The people here are also nice. It's a great place with great food and view!

Yelp
We went on our last night of vacation. If we had known of it earlier, I'm sure we would've have gone every night! Absolute perfection. Service, food presentation, delicious food, ambiance...absolutely amazing! One of those places that you just can't describe adequately, that's how good it is.

Yelp
what an amazing lunch! jazmine was our server and it was the absolute best service we had in prague! we sat beside the river and had the most enjoyable food and drink. the views are outstanding and make the dining experience even that more enjoyable. probably our best meal in prague!

Yelp
Outstanding restaurant. The food, the service and the view! Our waiter, Tomas, was very helpful and professional. Some of us started with a very nice salad with Granny Smith apples in it. The asparagus soup with a poached egg was excellent. All of our mains, linguine with prawns, sea bass, salmon and mushroom risotto were exceptional. We shared a couple of desserts and they just as good as the mains. Definitely a restaurant worthy of a special occasion.

Yelp
Came here on a recommendation. Definitely a must place to dine! Make reservations ahead of time directly on their website. Wife and I are here for our last night in Prague. Ambience and location is the best I've ever experienced! Waiter and service was top noch followed by the most important, food was amazing and delicious full of flavor! We ordered a started, 2 main entrees, and a bottle of wine all for under $200. Considering the quality, view, and location, highly recommend you dine here for a romantic experience in Prague!

Yelp

Yelp
Absolutely exquisite! We spied it while walking across the bridge on a Saturday night, wanted to dine with gorgeous views, and were fortunately seated without a reservation (I'd recommend a res for the best tables on the terraces). The Grutner Veltliner and Sauv Blanc from Czech Republic are excellent. We enjoyed the amuse bouche, foie gras, turbot special for two, and the chocolate cake. The service was excellent - spent four hours enjoying the ambiance and local cuisine!!

Yelp
My wife and I went here for our 25 anniversary a few nights ago and everything was amazing from the food to the staff to the view. Highly recommend

Yelp
Incredible ambiance, service and cuisine. Order the tiger prawns and the mushroom risotto and chase it with the sea bass. We sat right on the water enjoying the sunset and beautiful evening.

Yelp
One of the prime dining spots on the Vltava river. If you can book a waterfront table on a Summer night, it makes for a great view. The food is pricey for Prague standards, which is still affordable.

Edwaldo P.

Yelp
The overall experience was good, the service was for sure Michelin. Our waiter, and I forget his name, looked like he could maybe double for Jason Statham was the highlight of the evening, but to be clear, everyone from the hostess, where you walked to the front of the restaurant to the waiter was exceptional. Moving onto the food, the appetizers were fantastic. The Japanese Kobe steak more resembled a Salisbury steak from a frozen dinner. This piece of meat was such a disappointment on every level including the peppercorn reduction gravy. How a Resterant of this caliber can't manage a steak is still a question to me.

John L.

Yelp
The food and the service were both excellent! A great view of the Charles Bridge and the river as well!

Yelp
We had heard from family members that they liked this place so much that they went back twice! We decided to check it out for our last evening in Prague, we were seated at incredible seats overlooking the river with Charles bridge in the background just beautiful. We started off with a couple of glasses of excellent Italian reds. We had starters next. One was king crab raviolis and the other was French onion soup. The raviolis were a big disappointment, they had no crab flavor and tasted like mayonnaise to be real...On the other hand the French onionsoup was out of this world amazing, a dime. The broth was perfect with tubes floating with foie grass. A delight to the palette. Next were our mains; one was a wagyu striploin that was covered with bearnaise and cherry tomato's and scallions. The bearnaise was almost broken but delicious. The meat was tough and very fatty and not medium rare, super annoying! They did serve a amuse-bouche and 4 pieces of candy after the meal. Nothing of note... The view was romantic and nice since we were celebrating our 35th anniversary on this trip, thank god the wine was yummy!

Yelp
While visiting Prague, we had the opportunity to eat at Restaurant Kampa Park. We had to walk across the Charles Bridge which would have been an awesome evening, but for the downpour in 50° weather with no umbrella. We were drenched by the time we got there, but the host & hostess were very nice & offered us warm blankets & our walk in the rain transformed into an adventure of the palate. I had the Halibut in vegetable foam. I recommend finding this gem tucked away under the bridge!

Bruce D.

Yelp
The service was terrible. I had to ask for everything. From bread to the check. Our dinners came room temperature. The restaurant is beautiful.

Yelp
Setting was lovely. Service was awful. Food was not special and definitely not worth the high price. Wouldn't go back.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants I have visited. Food is really good. The manager and the waitress very polite and attentive. The view is amazing. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Tucked away with a great view of the Charles Bridge. I asked for a table inside hoping for a cooler space. The hostess brought me to the lower level overlooking the river. Although not inside, at least the view was nice. The chairs (at least down here) were covered in thick and hot cloth--great for colder temps but not so much for the middle of August. They were fairly empty on a Monday around 2. They are a little bit tucked away so that might have been why. The waiter gave me 2 slices of their gluten-free bread. It appears to be made mostly from rice and legumes, making it very dense but satisfying. To my surprise there was a 150kc charge for the bread. Not sure if that was because it was gf or in general... I tried the local white wine. Sweet but light. The taste sits in the middle of the tongue. For the appetizer, I ordered the seared scallops because other Yelpers have raved about them. The scallops came with a very light sear and were a little undercooked for me. The sauce and bits of cauliflower and capers though was delicious. For the main, I ordered the baked cod from the summer 2018 menu. It was supposed to come with cauliflower croquettes but I asked for a gluten-free version and also no scallions. The cod was ok. The skin was very salty and the meat plain on its own. The sauce was very flavorful. My grilled veggie substitute for the croquettes was asparagus. The white asparagus was way too overcooked and mushy. Service was prompt and friendly. Next time: I'll try a steak. Pictures look so good!

Haojin L.

Yelp
DO NOT ORDER FOOD suggested by the waiter without inquiring about the price. We were charged $140 USD for just two pieces of fish that took nearly an hour to prepare. Felt like a rip-off!
google avatar

Yelp
Stunning location, beautiful food and excellent service. This restaurant was absolutely beautiful and the service was amazing. The food was divine. We went in the afternoon to inquire about an evening reservation. The staff were polite and helpful and managed to accommodate our last minute request. We arrived later that evening and the lights from the bridge and the river were absolutely beautiful. We ate most of the food so quickly that I did not have a chance to take pictures, I did take pics of our entrees. The waiter was awesome and the wine spectacular. I was surprised at how large the portions were, we literally could not finish our meals. Such a great experience, cannot wait to return.

Joanna C.

Yelp
Great view and salad view to the park, I arrive without reservations and they were able to accommodate, the service was amazing as well

Rowan F.

Yelp
Amazing!! Terrific menu, excellent service and an unmatched view! Great for a glass of wine and a sunset.

Yelp
This place was recommended by my friend in Paris and in NYC so I had to try it. I had high expectations but it started with them not finding my reservation. Luckily my email confirmation was enough for them to accommodate me. Kampa Park tries to be perfect but they aren't. Their popularity has made them very large and lost some of their attention to detail. It's still a wonderful place to dine for any occasion but you will be just a number. Amazing location with views of the water, good quality food, and wine tailored to your occasion by the sommelier. I was impressed by their extensive allergy list that covers things I never knew could be an allergy. Food: well prepared and beautifully presented, but they forgot my substitution for the risotto when we had spoke about the main dishes in detail. It only came out after I asked about it. The risotto was actually just rice. Staters were lovely... sea bream carpaccio with yuzu dressing was delicate and pretty. The tiger prawns with mango salad was amazing. Main: my mother's halibut was the better fish and I was a bit envious but my fish was also beautifully presented and had flavor. Drinks: great recommendation for a local White that tasted like a Riesling and not a Chardonnay. It was perfect!

T T.

Yelp
Excellent food, wine, service and ambiance. Highly recommend the chef's tasting menu.
google avatar

Scott W.

Yelp
What an absolute surprise! Once you find this "hidden gem" you will be led to stairs down to a perfect on the water ambiance with night views. You will served by perfect chefs and waiters that will tease your pallet, until dinner arrives that continues the perfect taste. We wanted a nice dinner while in Prague, and this exceeded all expectations
google avatar

Yelp
Great location with a wonderful water view of the Charles Bridge. And..... food is very good as well!

Yelp
This was the first fine dining restaurant in Prague, opened in 1992 - and it is going strong in 2017. Excellent location, adjacent to the Charles's bridge and directly overlooking the water, beautifully appointed inside. Nice wine list, with many good options for the wine by the glass. I had local Rosé of Merlot and it was outstanding. Lots of good options on the lunch menu. I had cream of asparagus soup which was simply exquisite, especially considering the addition of small pieces of crunchy fresh asparagus. Beef Tartar was again delicious, with great presentation and lots of flavor packed in every bite. Pork cheeks were melting in the mouth, and tasted very well with barley and asparagus purée. Very good chocolate caramel desert and excellent espresso perfectly completed the experience. Outstanding, professional, friendly service, truly a top notch. Most highly recommended.

Yelp
A must for a beautiful place for waterfront dining Definitely 5 star excellent food Not your grandmas cooking.

Yelp
My wife and I came here tonight for dinner. We had their tasting menu along with wine pairing and it was absolutely, mind-blowingly delicious! They actually have a wine list here. It's more than just "would like white or red?" Our waiter, Jakub, made our experience very special and was very attentive! You should always ask for him! And the views were you know, eh. Just kidding! Dinner on the water with views of Charles bridge was breathtaking!

Georgiana T.

Yelp
Burger was super juicy and delicious. You do need a reservation to get seated for dinner. Went during lunch hour. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
Expensive, indulgent, fantastic but worth every cent! This restaurant lives up to every single raving review. I made a reservation 2 months ahead while I was still in Singapore, just to ensure that we had a good spot reserved for our birthday dinner celebration. From the moment, the waiter greeted us at the front (they seem to know who we were while we were approaching!) to the impeccable service (patiently explaining the intricacies of each dish) and even down to them giving us a surprise birthday treat! And may I add that the first-class views of Charles Bridge are the best! Verdict: * Seared Scallops (starter) - lightly roasted at the edges and oozing with sweetness at the centre. I am not a fan of seafood, but this is really delectable! * King Crab Ravioli (starter) - Another excellent starter choice, thanks to our watier. The king crab was exceedingly fresh and sweet. Paired with their house special sauce, this was another treat for the palette. Pity that each starter comes with three pieces each =( * Medium Well Beef Steak with caramelized onions and zucchini pasta - I love the small touches they add to my dish; the small medium well sign which makes it too pretty to eat. Please look at the picture of the inside portion of the steak; this is medium well at its best. At times when I head to a steakhouse and request for medium well, they will frown and say that their chef would recommend medium rare instead. But here, no, they took in my request with enthusiasm and delivered it to me perfectly! *Baked monk fish - my friend had this and she was ooh-ing and ah-ing all the way. The fish was a tad small but worth every penny! Again, the meat was so fresh, succulent and the strands of pasta in the garlic, buttery sauce adds a nice touch to the overall taste of the dish. * Birthday lava cake and sparkles - this was complimentary but a very sweet surprise! If you would are heading to Prague and would like to book a reservation, you can do so from their website. Just be sure to request for the balcony seats to get a great view of the Charles Bridge. No, there are no mosquitoes!

Yelp
we really enjoyed our meal here after a really fun afternoon exploring the local area we sat outside with a great view of the charles bridge and enjoyed tiger shrimp, fish, and beef (i can't recall the specific dishes as this was two years ago - yes i'm SUPER late) we also had a selection of their desserts the food and ambiance were fantastic i would highly recommend this spot when in prague

Yelp
The service was excellent with great views of the river. Our waitress was friendly and engaging with our party of five from the US. The food was delicious with every dish being a delicious experience. Highly recommend and get reservations.

Yelp
The salad I ordered for lunch was probably the best I have ever had, topped with an amazing view over the river and a refreshing aperol spritzer. I am continually amazed at the depth of flavor and freshness of the produce in Prague. The mango and papaya on the prawn salad was outstanding! Service was attentive and friendly as well. I just may have to return again!

Yelp
Incredible and quite memorable! Make sure to call several days and request a table by the water.

Yelp
My son and I were in Prague for a few days and I noticed nothing but terrific reviews so we decided to try it. We had an early reservation and we sat on the lower level with outstanding views of the bridges. The atmosphere, waitstaff and views were all equally amazing. My son started with a veal and truffle pate and I had a beet salad. For the main course we had monkfish and a vegetarian risotto. The wine list is also very nice. The food was exceptional and beautifully displayed.

My second visit here and the food, service and ambiance hasn't changed, excellent! The views of the Charles Bridge are spectacular and very romantic. If the weather is nice ask to sit on the patio. Server was extremely attentive and it was a fabulous meal.

Yelp
I know what you are thinking... great view only. Do not fear, this place has a great view and great food as well. They do require reservations, I was able to reach them by their website and actually emailed to get one. The manager was very friendly and accommodated me. Tip send them an email, "Hey we have this many people and would like to know if you can seat us between 8pm and 9:30pm" or whatever your schedule may be. Now to the good stuff, the food rivals the view. This is not the cheapest place in town yet it will delight your pallet and it is worth it. We splurged and got the caviar (I ordered it on accident ) it was incredibly good. We chose the special which I always recommend my associates ordered the steak as well which was also good. This is the type of place you go to cap off a great trip, celebrate a deal, propose to you significant other or cheers to divorcing them... great for all occasions! The food is as good as the view, it is worth the price so plan accordingly.

Yelp
One of the best meals I've ever had. Beautiful location right on the river, so make sure to book a table outside. Excellent service by our waiter. I can't recommend this place enough. Worth every penny.

Yelp
We booked here for the view. It's a stunning setting with the view of Charles bridge, white and crisp table cloths with good wine. We booked for sunset. It was beautiful. Order the poached egg, and the gnocchi, it was divine. Reservations are a must. They won't accept walk ins. Staff is a bit snobbish so beware.

Yelp
We picked this restaurant for the view. U can see Charles bridge right next to u. What else u can wish. We order stater and bottle of water and some drink. Starter scollops on cauliflower and delicious. Our waiter was cool and friendly and all stuff there were fine. Main dish rack of lamb and steak. I have to say. It was just perfect. Meat taste great, cooked perfect and the gravy? Master work. Rack of lamb also delicious. This dish was mix of flavors we never tasted and just perfect. Its little $$$ around 40$-45$ dish but its great. For two u will pay around 110$ plus tip for waiter who did great job take care of us. Glad we visited this restaurant and can say we ate there. Thank u! And if u read this review and thinking about it. Just go and try it. The menu is not crazy with many page's like in many restaurants but they have few and amazing food. They know what they wanna do

Yelp
service was amazing! Was a surprise dinner for my galpals birthday. Food was even better lovely wines to pick from as well. Definitely pricey but you pay for quality. All the staff treat you well and explain the menu and what would go well together! Would return

Yelp
Honestly this deserves 4 or 5 stars - but I feel that comparatively speaking this was way overpriced compared to other similar offerings in Prague. You're primarily paying for the great location and stunning view. That said, the food was great and service was as expected for the price point, but i just felt that the pricing was re-adjusted for US expectation. We had equally great if not better meals at 2 other places for half the price on our trip. But if you want a special meal with a really nice setting and have the budget - go for it!

Yelp
I had a trip to Prague, it is recommended by TripAdvisor, we crossed Charles Bridge to find the restaurant, it was located by the Bridge and the river, we didn't have a reservation, when we approached to the front desk, surprisingly we had been sitting in a nice corner table, the foods were great, service was the best, we will definitely come back again when we have a trip to Prague again.

Yelp
This place is a fairy tale, and then we got to Kampa Park and have my birthday dinner right on the water. I am not sure how it can get any better than this. We sat in a heated patio area along the water staring directly at the Charles bridge. They start off by giving you a free appetizer with 4 different cheeses and crackers. After that I ordered the steak with green onions and a fried potato (bramborcaky) and my boyfriend got the stuffed chicken with gnocchi. Both of our meals were amazing and had so much flavor and the view just made everything that much better. I also had a very dark beer with my meal and it was really excellent and different from the pilsners I had been drinking throughout my trip. As I went to the restroom my boyfriend told the waitress it was my birthday and I come back to a firework on top of a chocolate tart cake and I my smile grinning from cheek to cheek! Kampa park made my birthday extremely special and they had excellent service. After my dessert they brought over another free dessert with 3 different chocolates to try before you head out. It was a lovely experience and their service is exceptional.
