Probably the most interesting article experiment in Brussels. Really worth exploring the museum which was just recently closed as manufacturing and storing site for Citroens. The current exhibition isn't overly impressive but the building as such is super interesting and you can see most of it without a ticket. There is also good market so you can have drinks & food as well.

Modern art in unexpected setting in an former Citroën dealership. This building dating from the 30ties is still untouched and still looks like the last car left yesterday. The size of this building is immense so all art has plenty of space. Ideal for the visitors.

A really nice place, in winter it’s maybe too cold inside. It will be interesting to compare this experience with a visit when the actual museum will be renovated

It is a new center for Contemporary art in Brussels. Many permanent artworks are borrowed from two others Pompidou (Paris and Metz. It is super huge space and we can feel that the organizer having a difficulties to fill in the room. There are many empty space (we don't know if that's a part of the art) It is still a bit messy in terms of circulations of expo. Hopefully, they will manage to make something out of it independently from two others as well

we snuck in and explored the place going into places we should not... They had an art exhibition on in some rooms. Otherwise plenty of space on factory floors to run amok.

Wonderful collection of modern art. The huge industrial site allows the works to breathe, letting you take in each installation at your own leasure. All art has been meticulously curated. It shows that despite the diversity of the exhibits, there is a coherent flow and relation overlapping each section. At times the former Citroën plant feels overwhelming, like a labyrinth of tubes, machinery and concrete, though you never truly feel lost with the clear directions displayed above each room and the provided map. There's a cozy bar with great homemade lemonade and a small museum store which primarily sells organic female clothing (no books here, unfortunately). Mind the entrance is at the back of the building, at the side of the canal. There should be arrows leading the way. Take an afternoon off to enjoy some modern art in Kanal. Recommended!
