Wow, excellent, and above. So unique - mastering mushrooms and their dishes. It is refreshing to dine on mushroom dishes, much lighter than meat, but not just greens… The service was by the owners, which is always great. The restaurant serves tables on both sides of the road, which is also unique. During day time, the views are great from its 930 meters height… Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience, ordered the fried cheese with sesame seeds, pasta with Guanciale, mushrooms, peas and cream, and the smoked pork steak, which was huge and delicious, so was everything else. The service was excellent and we were offered coffee and a greek liqueur, yumm. The Chef/owner spoke English fluently and took his time explaining how the food is prepared. The atmosphere is very cozy, we got to sit next to the fire place, which is the designated table for guests with dog, thank you for welcoming dogs to your restaurant!

Amazing food and service! The menu is very special, with unique options you rarely find elsewhere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re passing through Vitsa or Monodendri. There are also many vegan options.

I would come back to the area just to eat here! The mushroom risotto was a revelation. The cold chanterelle salad with fresh herbs was perfectly dressed and a wonderful counterpoint to the pasta. You cannot miss the dessert with candied mushrooms and yogurt ice cream. It was so good I will see if I can recreate it at home. This place is wonderful.

We had a wonderful meal. Great food, very unique and tasty use of mushrooms. Not just soup. We had a the chanterelle mushrooms, risotto and pork steak. They were all very good, the chanterelle was exceptional. Desert was caramelized mushrooms over yogurt and mountain honey - divine. Surrounded by the mountains, having our meal under the trees.., Service was quick, efficient and welcoming. We had a philosophical conversation with the owner- who is knowledgeable, worldly with a humanistic approach. He gave us insight on local history and context while listening to George Dalaras singing. It made our experience truly special.

Delightful stop on our way from Vikos to Metsuova. We were enchanted by the mushroom theme and found every dish to be delectable on the taste buds. The metsovone cheese encrusted with sesame seeds and paired with berry sauce was such a good pairing, I am sad I will never get to taste it again. The green salad was fresh and fruity. The self-professed mushroom averse eater at the table fell in love with Morels. The risotto was divine. Everything was well worth the price for quality and ambiance. We had a great time chatting with the owner and learning about his history with the resteraunt and area. We will cherish this dining experience as a fond memory of the mountainous region of Greece.
