Food: No overthinking. You absolutely have to eat here! They serve authentic Korean food that is very much what I had in Seoul. The Soon Tofu was a masterpiece. Filled with all the right stuff with the perfect level of spice. My family enjoyed the chicken as well. All meals generously served with classic Korean side dishes. Service: Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took care of us throughout the meal. Ambiance: Perfect for family and friends gathering. Value: Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service.

My mom and I went for lunch since we didn’t want to drive to our usual Korean restaurant. We ordered the dinner portion and were surprised with how good it was. The server was friendly and checked on us frequently but not too many times that it wasn’t annoying. He asks us if we wanted more side dishes, us who frequently eats Korean food, appreciated that since side dishes are amazing. It was clean and the atmosphere was calm. We were glad that we checked out the place!

Google
Such a good experience in every way! The portions and diversity of sides for lunch were amazing. The service is incredible. The music was good and the restaurant clean and inviting. I will definitely come back.

Friendly service. Delicious food. We came for a lunch and they were sold out of the traditional chicken soup. FYI -The Korean Rice punch comes in a can

Google
I was hankering for some Korean food and found this spot. Wow!!The soon dubu soup had the most savory broth. Kimchees are fresh and delicious. Closest to mom's home cooking. I would highly recommend this place if you want authentic mom's cooking.

Google
Delicious Food & Great Service! My friend and I visited Kang Nam Korean Restaurant today, and we had an amazing experience! We ordered tteokbokki, kimchi soon tofu, and bibimbap, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the flavors were spot on, and the food tasted fresh and authentic. The server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We left with happy tummies and completely satisfied! Definitely a great spot for Korean food, and we’ll be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Google
I was craving Jajangmyeong and called them about an hour before closing. I explained to them that I was driving from a distance but wanted Jajangmyeong. They waited to make the order so it was warm when I got there AND added four dumplings as a recognition of my consideration and time it took to get there!

Yelp
When we walked in, the place looked to be in its decline. On Friday evening, only one table was occupied. The menu didn't have a theme. It has mix of dishes from traditional Korean, Chinese-korean cuisine, Korean street food, and Korean late night food, showing that they may not have an expertise on any of them. We should have walked out of it at that point, but we were too hungry. We ordered Kimchi stew, soon tofu stew, kimchi kimbap, and spicy squid. Tofu is far from high quality with no texture, and lots of sugar was added to stew instead of using pork broth. Kimbap is worse than what I make at home. This restaurant won't survive near any Korean town.

Yelp
The food was authentic and flavorful. Service was phenomenal. Our server answered all of our questions and gave us some tips on places to visit while we visited.

Yelp
Love their soups (pork soon tofu). Generous portions, excellent service, and very good sides that I don't always see at other restaurants.

Gina T.

Yelp
Was craving for tofu soup and this was the perfect stop. We ordered kimbab, seafood tofu soup, and kimchi tofu soup. Great food and our server was super attentive and always making sure we were topped off with water or tea. It's the typical Korean restaurant with nothing fancy going on...loved it.

Yelp
Food was so good! Would definitely recommend the wings! Place was welcoming, clean, and good service!

Yelp
as a Korean, food was okay. the worst was the portions! dolsot bibimbop was a fraction of the bowl size which is usually filled with rice at the bare minimum. I had to add another bowl of rice and banchan (side dishes) to it and the egg was cooked over hard. The squid was $22 for the smallest portion ever i have seen in my 52 years life!! It looked nothing like the picture... in fact, we ordered 3 squid dishes and combined was not equal to the picture. chef should be ashamed to serve and tell our party of 10 it was measured out. Don't waste your time or money!

Yelp
Such a great place!! My cousin is local and he suggested we go to dinner here together. We are so glad that he brought us to Kang Nam! The bulgogi was great, tasty flavor and the meat was so tender! The bibimbap was delicious and so fresh with a fantastic presentation. The restaurant was clean and the gentleman taking orders and serving everyone there was so friendly. All around a wonderful experience!!

Yelp
EAT HERE. DO IT. SO GOOD!! We came on a calm Monday night. It was clean and a relaxing experience. Our servers name was In. In was so kind and offered more than service. He offered a story and compassion. He was genuine and so fun to talk to. The food was HIGHEST QUALITY!! It was so fresh and flavorful. Special find. I will be going back! I'd recommend the vegetable japchae, was wondeful.
google avatar

Yelp
Really enjoyed the food here. The ribs were ridiculous. The bulgogi was great. The service was solid as well. I would definitely highly recommend going here.

Yelp
This is a delightful Korean restaurant. Prices are very reasonable, and the food was delicious. They have both lunch and dinner portions. They have vegetarian and even vegan entrées, as well. I ordered the six piece egg roll, and it's a good thing. My husband ate half because I could only eat three. Their portions are very generous, and their sweet-and-sour sauce was not just red jelly. It had chili flakes and other spices in it. My egg roll had pork in it, but they also offer a vegetarian eggroll. My husband ordered the lunch size pork Bulgogi. He thoroughly enjoyed it. It came with a very large serving of rice, as well as the four side dishes. The restaurant was very quiet, and we liked the tables were spread out. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable! We are not overly familiar with Korean food, but we would certainly go back here in a heartbeat!

Yelp
How is it possible that this restaurant has eluded me for so long? I have visited most KBBQ places in the Springs, and this is really the best spicy squid that you can get in the city. The squid was cooked perfectly (ie - not overcooked and chewy) and there were plenty of veggies. Best of all, it wasn't drenched in sauce. It was spicy, but I could clearly taste the veggies and the squid without the sauce overpowering everything. What puts this place over the top for me is that it was SUPER clean, including the restrooms. Small Asian restaurants are notorious for dirty restrooms that often double as storage space. Not here. Clean as a whistle. The only downside in my opinion is that fish cakes were not included the little side dishes. Maybe it's due to the current supply-chain issues plaguing many businesses, but I missed those little cakes. Best KBBQ in The Springs for sure, and there are some really good ones out there.

Yelp
We had eaten here previously and enjoyed it so wanted to see if it was still great. We were greeted enthusiastically and had our choice of seating. We ordered potstickers, japchae for me, the veggie tofu bowl for my husband, and pork bulgogi for my son. The potstickers (fried and served on a bed of fresh shredded cabbage) came out pretty quickly along with individual dipping sauces for each of us. They were promptly devoured! Although the Japchae (traditional Korean noodles with beef and veggies) was listed as an appetizer, it was a FULL MEAL! Delicious!! My son's bulgogi was very tasty and came with a bowl of steamed rice. My hubby's vegetable soon tofu (soft tofu with a variety of veggies and an egg in a rich, boiling hot broth) came in a stone bowl: it was still boiling when it was set on the table and never stopped steaming!! It was delicious, too, as were all the small side accompanying dishes (the kimchi was outstanding, as were the black mushrooms). Service was very friendly and welcoming and we can't wait to eat here again!!

Yelp
We took a group of friends to this restaurant on a Friday night, excited to introduce Korean food to our friends (my wife and I have lived in Asia and traveled to Korea). 7pm and there was one other table with 1 person. When the banchan came it was a couple of small dishes for the table of 6. We asked for refills and the server said they were out. Seemed odd for a Korean restaurant. I was really looking forward to Kimchi stew, my favorite dish. The rest of the orders came out and I just keep waiting. Once my friends were finishing off their last couple bites, I inquired about my missing order and the server said she was hoping it would be ready in 5 min, because they were so busy (??? - still just us and the 1 guy in the restaurant). My dish finally arrives. Ugh. So disappointing. I have never had a kimchi stew where the predominant flavor was sweet. It should be spicy, tangy and umami forward. Not this soup. Oh well. Everyone else was pretty satisfied. Not likely to go back.

Yelp
Just thought we'd try this place located in a strip mall. The "Asian" is a bit of a misnomer, they tend to be pretty much Korean. I'm not real familiar with Korean cuisine, but the server helped me find a nice lunch selection. My wife had egg rolls that I helped her eat and they were quite good. They do not offer a hot mustard, which amazed me, but the sweet-and-sour was acceptable. I just happen to be overly fond of hot mustard found at most Asian restaurants. Price and noise level as well as the service were good, we will try again.

Jeffery C.

Yelp
We share the beef bulgogi and sides. This strip mall restaurant may not look like much from outside (or even inside), but the food is 5-Star. Also, the waitstaff and chef have always been friendly.

mike o.

Yelp
I've been eating here for five years and they never disappoint. The owner takes pride in what he does, and cares about his customers. Enjoy!

Josette D.

Yelp
Good service and food was OK. Portions are a little small for the prices. Compared to other Korean restaurants, this one is average.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem!! Being newer to the area I've tried a few places and I have to say this place is the best in COS by far! Their flavors were on point and the food was absolutely delicious, not to mention their amazing side dishes Even though indoor dining is closed due to county level red restrictions, they are still offering take out. It's definitely worth a try! 1. BibimBap 2. Spicy Kimchi Tofu Soup 3. Selloung Tang (Beef Bone Soup) 4. Chicken Wings 5. Korean Beef Short Ribs 6. Korean Veggie Pancake and Various Side Dishes

Yelp
WOW! Now THIS is some excellent eyes roll in the back of my head authentic Korean food. Finally down this way to check this place out. It's a clean but unassuming place with Korean writing on the sign in the strip mall. I was surprised that at 12:15 on a Monday that there was NOONE there. A few folks came in by 12:30, but not too busy. I ordered the Beef Bulgagi to compare it to the other places that I've tried, just so I would have a fair comparison and this is the best I've had in the Springs. The spices in the food were exactly right. The meal was just the right amount for lunch. Dang! The food was just really super tasty. I ate in, so I asked for water. She did one better and brought me both water and tea. I don't drink tea, but the gesture was nice. The water tasted like unfiltered tap water, so probably a good idea to order a beverage you like when dining in.

Aileen C.

Yelp
Good tasty food . Slow service . Great if you want a relax lunch with friends . Good price .
google avatar

Beth W.

Yelp
Really delicious delivery order! First time to order from here and it didn't disappoint. We had the tofu bibimbap which was excellent as well as the chicken bibimbap. Everything was hot and fresh. Sides were tasty as well. Highly recommend. There aren't a lot of great Korean places here but would check this one out again!
google avatar

Yelp
Good overall for this area. Ordering through Yelp was quick and timely. For a to-go dinner, this is a good spot. Caution that there is likely msg or something in the food that induces lots of thirst. Bulgogi was good. Also the soups (we ordered two soondoonbu--veggie and the kimchi pork) were watery and not as flavorful as if you were to make these yourself. We really enjoyed the japchae and the pancake was good re-toasted. Note that rice for soups are included, and rice and small sides do come with the meat and utensils are packed inside the bags. Ample parking out front and friendly staff. Thank you Kang Nam for satisfying our Korean food craving in the sea of avocado toasts. :)

Yelp
We're love the Food here, soups is so good and service is nice highly recommended for everyone .

Yelp
I love this Korean Restaurant! My family always clambers to come here. Try the Tofu Soup for a change.

Yelp
Traveling from California and had a dinner with my wife. Food was good and owner's service was outstanding.
google avatar

Ellie S.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Took the entire family (2 adults and 4 kids) and we all loved it. The food had authentic flavor and was so filling. The server ended up bringing out another potsticker for the kids free of charge! We ended up sharing our courses because all of the courses were so good! Also had a nice home-like feeling to it. Overall 5 stars!

Yelp
Kang Nam is a little hole in the wall restaurant; however, lets be honest, some of these hole in the wall restaurants are some of the best restaurants in town. That's exactly the case for Kang Nam and we were glad we traveled a small bit to eat there. The restaurant was clean and server was attentive but not overly so. The spicy pork bulgogi was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The chicken bulgogi was juicy, tender and had the right seasoning. After our meals arrived the wife and I put in a to order for our teenagers. The two order arrived when we were just finishing up our meals. The kids loved their dumplings, wings and order of beef bulgogi. We will defiantly return.
google avatar

Corrie S.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this spot. It's kinda a hole in the wall, that you might miss if you're not looking for it. However, was totally worth checking out. You can tell this is a family run spot and everyone is wearing a lot of hats, doing multiple roles within the restaurant. The lady that waited on us was really enthusiastic, excited we were trying all sorts of things on the menu, but it also looked like she was one of the main cooks. So, you can imagine that we needed to wait a little bit for food, as she worked as waitress and chef. However the food was great. I had never had bibimbap before, which is what I tried. Super enjoyable, hearty and filling.
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
It was good when I tried this place a few years ago, but it seems like it's gone down hill a lot. When there were no one else there at 6pm which should be a prime time for most restaurants, we should've just bounced. I'm going to have to try other restaurants around to see if there are any better places in COS...
google avatar

Yelp
My friends and I had such a great first time experience here. The food was not only delicious and fresh, but the waitress was just phenomenal! I had read the reviews before coming here and they raved about how good the service was. She was very attentive and was just so sweet from the very beginning to when we had to leave. One of my friends wanted a soup that wasn't so spicy and the waitress recommended the "Soondubu", which has shrimp, mussels, and tofu. So delicious! I ordered the beef bulgogi with white rice and I devoured some of the side dishes - daikon radish & kimchee. The food was just delicious, hot, and fresh. It is definitely worth coming back to. As a kind of dessert, our waitress was so nice to serve us this persimmon, ginger, and cinnamon tea drink called "Sujeonggwa". Tidbit, you can't really buy this drink but you can certainly make it! She also gave us Korean candy & offered these rice crackers for one of my friend's babies. Her customer service really made our experience just 10 times better. Thank you so much Han Restaurant! Five stars, from me :)
google avatar

Leilani P.

Yelp
Pretty decent Korean food for the portions and price! We got the chicken and pork bulgogi and kimbap. The server was really attentive and quick. Would come back again!

Yelp
DO NOT LET APPEARANCES FOOL YOU! The ambiance not great, wait staff service would recommend some work...BUT DAMN was that some of the best authentic Korean food I've ever had‼ I am half Korean and grew up with this cuisine my whole life. It is worth the wait and okay service because the food speaks for its self‼ ENJOY‼ Recommendations -Pork Bulgogi -Galbi (short ribs) -Korean Spicy Beef Soup -Fried Dumplings -Beef Bulgogi

Kimberly V.

Yelp
Incredible flavors. Had kimchi ramen, kimchi pancake and rice cake dumpling soup. Came with so the little side dishes. Large portions, great service, and truly happy with everything we tried.
google avatar

Yelp
I love small, family-owned businesses that are welcoming to all. This place is a jewel and if you haven't been then you are missing out! Just made me think about my childhood and visiting friends of other cultures. How lucky was I to be a military brat experiencing authentic Asian cuisine at my friends house at such as young age. I'll be back next time I come home to visit!!!!

Leia C.

Yelp
Delicious food--was salivating the entire ride home because I couldn't wait to dig in. Wished I got a bit more of the side dishes, but the portion size of the main dish and rice was so much, I had leftovers. Quick service and though I went in off-hours, a nice ambiance!
google avatar

Matt H.

Yelp
I'm torn. Han is never usually that busy so I'd really love them to get more business and start booming, but I also don't because it's one of my favorite hidden gems in the area. This is the best Korean in Colorado Springs, hands down. I've been to at least half a dozen different Korean restaurants in town and each one is very good, but they're all missing *something* whether it's lackluster service, underwhelming banchan, lightly seasoned dishes, etc. Not Han. The service here is great; the ladies here make you feel at home. The lunch portions (and prices) are perfect and their bulgoki is some of the best I've had outside of Seoul or LA's Koreatown. Their kalbi is tender and flavorful as well. They serve at least three kimchi - a cabbage, cucumber, and radish, along with a few seaweed salad variations - which you rarely see at Korean places in Colorado. I'd honestly probably make the trip just to have some more of their banchan. Han is delicious. Tell some friends, just not too many.
google avatar

Louie S.

Yelp
In the middle of I-25 and 21 in Colorado Springs is a gem that is Kang Nam Korean Restaurant. This has been our go too for Kimchee fried rice with fried egg on top; it is not on the menu but if you order it any way, you will not be disappointed. If you order the Kimchee fried rice and Kalbi and you'll end up being a regular because it's that good! This place is hardly ever crowded, clean, great staff (usually owner or son at the front) and more importantly, has awesome food!
google avatar

Rhea C.

Yelp
Service was great, the place is very clean, and the food we ordered were tasty, but I am somewhat disappointed with the the Dukbokki (fried rice cakes) because it doesn't taste authentic. Other than that, me and my bf enjoyed everything else in the picture. Will definitely come back again.
google avatar

Allen L.

Yelp
Very good bulgogi, wife had a rice bowl with shrimp, also very good. If you like Korean food, eat here!
google avatar

Emily P.

Yelp
I have been here a couple of times and it is always delicious with wonderful, and attentive service. I love Korean food, it's got tons of flavor and it's much healthier than a lot of our standard meals. This is a wonderful, family friendly restaurant with incredible food, from bimbimbap to whole cooked fish. I'm sorry I dont have a picture to share of the food before I ate it. I always forget...but here's the aftermath of an awesome round of sides with spicy beef noodle soup.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
A friend who went to school in Seoul said that this was as good or better than anything she ate there. Having lived near Annandale Virginia, this was as good as the best restaurants there, which is pretty shocking for a place like Colorado Springs. Dope. The bulgogi is legit and the kalbi and sundabiu is top notch. The pancake is so so and the Bonchon are run-of-the-mill, but everything else makes it worth it.
google avatar

Blu H.

Yelp
Delicious! Delicous! Korean food is one of my favorite things and kimchi jjigae is a comfort food for me. We just moved here so I was SUPER excited to find out there is Korean food here. I ordered the Kimbap and Kimchi jjigae. I spent $22 but I ended up with enough food to last two days! The food was so good and filling! I will definitely be returning!
google avatar

Danni E.

Yelp
When I left the gym this afternoon I was seized with a craving for kimchi--stopped in this restaurant because it was on my way home. I can't rate anything except the kimchi, but it was DELICIOUS and satisfied my craving. It wasn't particularly spicy, heat-wise, but it had great texture and flavor. There is nothing special about the decor (who cares about that, anyway), but the people there were very welcoming and friendly, and I will definitely return for a complete meal sometime soon.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
The food is simple and authentic... and oh, really good. The people are friendly and the prices are more than reasonable. The place is pretty much what you would expect to see in any mom & pop shop in a strip mall between a Little Cesar's and a medical marijuana place. The food is far better then the neighborhood deserves. I just popped in for the first time in a while and the food is better than ever. This place is very comfortable and you don't have to be Korean to feel at home. The family that run this wonderful spot are kind and very hospitable. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Sue T.

Yelp
Best Korean Food in springs. I love the Kimchi jigae and the beef bulgogi. It is mom and pop restaurant. MUST TRY
google avatar

Yelp
Sajangnim... I pick up one agu jjim and two tangsuyuk today and I think you guys forgot to add sweeten in the dipping sauce.. i only tasted super sour and vinegar.... we ended up dump all out and ate without dipping sauce:(

Yelp
Though we went in pretty late, the owner was still welcome my husband and I in. We ordered Beef Kalbi and Spicy Beef Stew, they were served with a number of refillable side dishes. The food was great and authentic. The owner guy was very kind and attentive. We live in DC and love eating Korean food. Honestly, this place is beyond our expectation. Wondering why it's so quiet in the area on Friday night. Would highly recommend to Asian/Korean food lover and definitely come back if we happen to be in Colorado Springs again.

Yunjung H.

Yelp
This place is one of my favorite place. I'm from LA and so much missed k town foods. Finally found right and awsome place. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy great korean foods.
