A more out-of-the-way izakaya. The set up is unusual for me as the kitchen is more center oriented. It's run by an all female team. They dont really speak much English but there's an English menu. What drew me to this place was seeing them having raw duck sashimi. They also have pretty a pretty good selection of sake. It's one of the few izakaya ive been there that recommend serving certain sake hot. Everything I tried here was good. I'll certainly return here again to see if they have any other uncommon dishes.

Really great local spot to come to. Their food is pretty good, not amazing. They rely on their good selection of alcohol which people mostly come for. The side dishes were average. The frying of the tempura was very light and fresh, the spring roll was nicely made as well. I’d say overall the food lacked flavour that I’ve been accustomed to in Osaka!

We found this restaurant in the bib gourmand section of the Michelin guide. It’s a simple and intimate restaurant with all women working inside. The food is simple but beautifully done. The trend of the menu is Japanese with French influences and a lot of duck dishes. Recommended both for food and the vibe very playful and happy but not too much talkative. Nice sake selection. We spent 10k yen in two people with 4 sake huge glasses.

They sat me reluctantly and informed me they didn't have an English menu. I was ok with this, I was determined to make it work as this Izakaya came highly recommended by a local because of their sake. I used Google Translate to get the gist and ordered a few dishes. As soon as I ordered there was a collective gasp of excitement from the staff and my fellow patrons. They were impressed at my selections and from that point on they could not have been more friendly and welcoming. They even hand translated a menu into English for me! 😭😭 All of the food was delicious and very authentic. Osaka is the best!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I had the best evening. The ambience, people, food, staff, and sake was amazing 🙏🏼 I would love to come back in the future 😍

As a sake enthusiast, the variety and quality of sake available were impressive, especially the warmed sake options that were perfect for the evening. The open kitchen added a cozy, intimate feel to the place, allowing us to watch the preparation of delicious otsumami (snacks) that paired excellently with our drinks. The conversations with the knowledgeable and friendly owner about different types of sake were both informative and enjoyable, adding a personal touch to our experience. Each dish was delicious, and the sake recommendations by the owner were spot-on, enhancing the flavors of the food. The customer service was exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Moreover, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, offering great value for both the food and the sake. This izakaya is a hidden gem for anyone looking to explore the world of Japanese sake in a casual, friendly atmosphere. The combination of great drinks, food, and conversation makes it a must-visit spot near Tanimachi Rokuchome Station.

Very nice, relaxed, and cozy place. They first asked if we would do a Japanese menu, but after a while we got first one, and then later a second, hand translated menu. Nice people, and very smooth service, so smooth that we barely heard them cook right next to us. With good food as well, this was a very nice experience. Would definitely return.
