Had a great time at Kanpai in Boca Raton. I sat at the bar and Mitch was really helpful with suggestions. Happy hour runs from 10pm to close on certain days, perfect for late-night drinks in Boca. I tried the Devil’s Advocate spicy margarita for $9 and it was really great. I also had a shot of Hornitos for the first time for $6 and my Corona was only $4. The food was amazing. The bang bang shrimp had a great portion for $10. The Lava Drop Roll was so good I ended up ordering two for $10 each. The JB Tempura was another solid pick for $10. Kanpai has some of the best sushi rolls in Boca for sure. The upbeat music and fun vibes made it a really enjoyable night. I will be back and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for great sushi in Boca Raton.

We chose this place for a family dinner, but unfortunately it was very dirty despite the friendly and kind waitress. The mess started right at the entrance — the door was filthy, the laminated menus were sticky and grimy, and we even found old chewing gum stuck under the table from previous guests. To be fair, the sushi tasted good, and the salmon was fresh and delicious — but the rolls were the smallest I’ve ever seen. Sadly, we’re not likely to return.

I was part of a group of 7 that dined here last night. Really great menu choices. We ordered several starters that were delicious. As expected, Saturday night is a busy evening for restaurants. It was especially busy last night. We also ordered 13 different rolls for the table, so everyone could have a taste. The bar was doing a phenomenal job of keeping up with drink orders. However, our server was in the weeds from the moment we got to the restaurant until we left. Our drinks sat for at least 10 minutes before she was able to bring them to us. The second round of drinks again sat just as long. There also seemed to be no front of house manager checking on food quality or needs of any table. The other wait staff that took care of refilling water and clearing tables seem to disappear for long periods at a time. Our table ended up with multiple empty plates, glasses, and needing water refills with no one seeming to notice. 10 of the 13 dishes arrived, with us noticing we were missing three more. It took another 15 minutes for two of the missing dishes to arrive, and then an additional 10 minutes on that for the final dish to arrive. Not sure if we will come back.

Google
I don’t usually leave a review but I must say we had the worst experience possible. We have been going to Kanpai for years since 2018, the service was never this horrible. We ended up sitting at the bar but then proceeded to walk over and sit at the spinning sushi table. It was our fault we sat ourselves over there rather than going to the host but it took twenty minutes for the server to come up, mind you this wasn’t a problem since they didn’t realize we were there and we were fine. The blonde server proceeded to come up laughing and didn’t say a word and just stared at us with her notepad, which we thought was odd. We ordered our drinks, and she vanished for fifteen minutes, she then came back after we asked the sushi chef to find her, we still did not have our drinks at that point and she just again stood there looked inconvenienced and we told her the appetizers we would like. Within twenty minutes of ordering WE STILL HAD NO DRINKS, but our appetizers came out. We asked her about our drinks and she just said she’s grabbing them. We then finished our appetizers she is no where to be found AND WE STILL HAVE NO DRINKS. It took an entire thirty minutes and we had no choice but to leave and walk to the bar because we were fed up waiting around for her to come back. We did tell the sushi chef to have her drop our check at the bar, she then finally came over with our drinks after sitting at the bar. I then asked for our check and that took another twenty minutes to come. Overall, this was the worse service possible, management needs to have a conversation with this blonde server because this is unacceptable, her attitude was terrible, she disappeared constantly and mind you there was about five tables in the entire restaurant filled so it was not busy. Some people are just not made to be servers and she is definitely one of them.

Google
All rolls are simply outstanding. The cocktails ad well. The Old Fashioned is superb. All rolls marked with a yellow star, are a must. Do not order the Edamames though. They are bland, have no taste. The truffled one is super soft, and the cheese is a cheap shaved "parmesan". Service is great too.

Google
Went with the fam and doggy. The atmosphere was great, we sat outside it was very beautiful. Staff was beyond friendly they even gave water to my dog. I got the California and JB roll and my family got noodles, the food was okay.

Google
As restaurant owners we try not to leave a review but this was such an odd experience. The atmosphere was nice, good location, sushi was good. The wait staff act like you are an inconvenience by breathing. For a $400 bill I would hope to have our drinks filled. We had to ask after searching for our server. The service was PAINFULLY slow. I've had excellent Korean bbq on the west coast for years so maybe I'm just difficult for taste but my suggestion, drop the Korean bbq, stick to sushi. Your servers aren't accustomed to how to properly present it and it's obvious they despise it. It was terribly overpriced as well. Good waygu

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't left a review for Kanpai--especially since we're regulars! Let's fix that right now. We've been coming here since it opened in 2016, back when it had the spinning Ninja sushi bar. It was such a fun way to enjoy delicious sushi--color-coded plates and all. We used to laugh at how high our stack would get because everything was just that good! Kanpai always has a great vibe: friendly staff, fresh sushi, sashimi, Japanese BBQ, and even Korean BBQ tables. There's a revolving sushi bar again now (more on that in a sec!). After a two-year hiatus due to a fire, Kanpai reopened in 2023 with a beautiful remodel--elevated style, expanded indoor bars, and more outdoor seating, including one bar open to the sights and sounds of downtown Boca. Sadly, the original spinning sushi bar didn't return... at first. But good news: in January 2025, they brought it back! It's a new version--no floating waterway this time--but it's still super fun and unique. We were thrilled to see it return after what I'm sure were many requests from loyal fans. Now let's talk food. The sushi is always fresh and consistently excellent. Their happy hour is unmatched--twice a day from 5-7pm and 10pm to close. No surprise it's always packed during those times. Must-tries: Seared Salmon (HH menu): Two pieces per order, but we usually get four or five--it's that good. Hamachi Carpaccio: Melts in your mouth. Hibachi Fried Rice: Great for non-sushi fans too, with your choice of veggies, meat, chicken, or shrimp. Honestly, try everything. You won't be disappointed. Come for happy hour--and then come back again.

Yelp
I was surprised Kanpai was open as last I remember it burned down from a fire! So as a result I wanted to try it out again! They have a huge inside area with different portions of the restaurant. They also have two bars and they have the sushi bar seating area. The sushi bar seating area used to be boats but now it is a conveyor belt. I was really looking forward to both happy hour and the sushi conveyor belt. Happy hour goes from 5 to 7 every day. We ordered edamame and fried rice from the happy hour menu. Then, every plate on the conveyor belt is four dollars during happy hour. I got there around 5:45 and was able to get a seat at the bar. For the first fifteen minutes we were able to get a few yummy plates from the belt. We got bang bang shrimp. A couple sushi rolls. Some other dishes too. Then is where disappointment came in. After getting about three plates, then the plates all left slowly the conveyor belt with only a few undesired ones left to spin around for a very long time. I really wanted some basic rolls like a j and b roll or a crunchy California roll but nothing was coming around. It got pretty disappointing so I decided to stay to see how long until the conveyor belt would be restocked. It took nearly an hour which it was no longer happy hour. Then it slowly got only a few new rolls of which I was starving and grabbed one. That spicy salmon roll was good I grabbed, but they lacked variety and we just decided to leave. The A/C was also definitely broken as it was hot inside. The chefs were not friendly like in the past where they would see us visibly sad the conveyor belt had nothing we wanted and literally no rolls on it, they used to ask if there was one we were looking for but these new chefs did not do that in anyway. I definitely want to caveat, every experience may be different, it all depends how many people are at the restaurant, who are the chefs, and the availability of rolls. So I would like to give it another try, I was just really excited to try Kanpai again and left with disappointment at the end this time.

Yelp
I have to say, I hate how all the tables are like the cooking at your seat tables - it made it extremely uncomfortable and I couldn't stretch my legs out comfortably. Also, they didn't even offer us the stove top menu so we were simply just so confused. I think they should take some of those tables out and put regular ones in. Spicy crispy tuna was ok - not the best I've had but def not the worst , it was solid. Lobster and crab Rangoon - these were also fine, nothing to come back for. The Mentaiko Cream Udon was 10/10 - truly an AMAZING dish. It was creamy and flavorful, rich, it was just soooo good, I would come back just for this dish and this dish only!!! SOOOO GOOD. Sweetheart roll - I wasn't obsessed with, these was a taste that I didn't love - it did feel fresh but it was too sweet for my liking

Yelp
Fun. Good. I will come back. Happy hour is from 5-7pm. If you sit at the bar all the plates on the conveyor belt are $4. They have a bunch of good stuff. Everyone is very friendly. You have to get there early for happy hour or you will have to wait or may not get a seat at the bar. The bar stays full.

Yelp
Stopped by Kapow for happy hour and it did not disappoint! The vibe inside is fun, modern, and energetic--perfect for a casual night out. We ordered the Korean fried chicken (crispy, flavorful, with just the right kick), bang bang shrimp (so good we almost ordered a second round), and edamame to snack on. The salmon roll was super fresh and nicely portioned. They also have great drink specials that make it easy to stay for "just one more." Service was friendly and fast, and the happy hour menu had enough variety to keep things interesting. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the Mizner Park area!

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick dinner with my brother. We were hoping to grab seats by the sushi belt, but no luck this time. Still, Kanpai never disappoints. This wasn't my first visit--it's one of my go-to spots for sushi in Boca. Whenever I'm craving sushi around here, Kanpai is always top of mind!

Yelp
Best sushi spot in Boca! I love that their happy hour goes until 7 pm. The chicken gyoza was excellent with the sweet chili sauce. I enjoyed the Asian mule, however, we didn't like the espresso martini. It was too sweet and not much espresso flavor. The sushi is supreme! So fresh. We love the salmon sashimi, tuna sashimi, tuna rolls, red light district, and spicy tuna rolls.

Yelp
This is my first time back at kanpai since it reopened. I haven't been here in a long time so I was excited to finally check it out and see how it changed. The inside and outside is nice, but the place was not as full as I thought it would be for a Friday night. They didn't even have the conveyer belt sushi bar open which was disappointing. I did love the menu, there were so many yummy things that I wanted to try and want to come back to try. My friends and I all had 2 different sushi rolls and we all loved our rolls. Drinks were amazing too. Service wasn't the best but it wasnt terrible. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Saw this on social media so I stopped in. I sat at the rotating sushi counter. $4 per plate, though many items were only 2 pieces of sushi. Others 4. I didn't think the sushi was really that good. Drinks were great! Probably won't return, server was good. Just average to me.

Vivian K.

Yelp
I honestly don't understand how a place in such a good location can be this dirty. The table was sticky, the menu was covered in stains, and to top it off, there was an old piece of chewing gum stuck under the table -- absolutely disgusting. The sushi portions were tiny and tasted very average at best. For such a disappointing experience, the prices felt way too high. Definitely not worth it.

Yelp
The torched avocado roll is not the same anymore and no longer my favorite. Comparing my photos on here, it looks to be missing the sauce which was probably the key ingredient that made this dish delicious before. Gave them another chance to redeem their steamed egg but looked waaaaaayyyyy worse than the 1st steamed egg from a while ago... It was one whole hard piece of egg turd. How embarrassing for them to even send this out! They need to learn how to make this properly or just completely take it off the menu! I've never seen such a humiliating version of the steamed egg that is supposed to be nice and fluffy, not a dried up rock! Needless to say I sent it back and the server who took it looked shocked at what that was. Thank goodness for the udon dish, chicken gyoza and avocado fries. Those items were actually good. Ambiance was the same but they had their front doors locked until 5p but their bar was already full, thought that was odd unless they had some kind of event or something going on before they opened.

Yelp
Went for their daily happy hour. The drinks looked really interesting, and the bar was busy, but I didn't end up tasting their drinks in the end. They have some happy hour deals on appetizers, nigiri, sushi rolls, and yakitori skewers. Bang bang shrimp and Tokyo fries were tasty. Sushi was definitely not the freshest, so I'd recommend sticking to the cooked items. Overall, an okay spot, but I'd recommend for drinks and hot apps than for raw fish.

Yelp
Went to Kanpai for Happy Hour on a Friday & definitely would recommend them for Happy Hour. The location provides a slightly elevated feel with great happy hour deals! This includes both deals on cocktails and food whether seated at the table or bar. Their food portions for happy hour are great! Unlike some other restaurants that have happy hour prices, the portions leave you hungry and your pockets empty. Not here at Kanpai! I ordered 2 happy hour items (sushi & Korean fried chicken) and was full. I would be interested in coming back for their regular dinner menu as well.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to Kanpai when all the food was 50% off and we were really exited. We got 4 spicy tuna rolls and while they were good they were really small. They gave us 8 pieces per per roll. also got the wassup my ninja roll and for me it was not my favorite. i wouldn't get it again but my boyfriend did really enjoy it so i think it's just preference. The bees knees drink is amazing and is so sweet and perfect. cannot go wrong with the flavor of this drink. But what they should have mentioned at the start was that they charged an automatic 20% tip, when we have been there before and it was not a thing... They said it was because of the daily special, they should of said that to begin with. We thought it was an error because the receipt said it was for a party of 6 but nope it was our check and the money that we thought we saved from getting 50% off food was just a lie. I feel like that part was unfair and should have been mentioned.

Yelp
Sushi conveyor belt at bar fun idea anything from the bar was really good and not badly priced. It had a wide variety of options, such as rolls, dumplings, little salads.
google avatar

Lore G.

Yelp
I've been to Kanpai before and had an exceptional experience, which is why I came back. This time, the sushi was still really good--fresh and flavorful. The satay, however, was a bit overcooked and just okay. What surprised me was how long the service took, especially since the restaurant was nearly empty. Maybe it was just an off day, so I'll likely give it another shot.
google avatar

Danielle F.

Yelp
Came here because I saw this awesome happy hour advertised on IG. All plates at the rotating sushi bar $4 between 5 and 7pm Mon-Fri. The food is good but the chefs are working on so many other orders that you spend a lot of time with the rotating belt either half empty or with things that have passed you a number of times. I ordered off the regular menu just to ensure I was full and the crab and lobster Rangoon came out cold initially and they remade it and it was still a little cold so they aren't fresh. Good deal but a little disappointed in the fact that you can sit for 10-12 minutes without a new selection coming by. Great ambiance and great concept but the execution is a little off. I am sure that after the happy hour times the place is booming and they make some amazing sushi because then the plates are priced by color but keeping the happy hour plates at $4 they are very limited in what they can offer. I will be back because the chef was nice and the sushi we did react was fresh and great!!!

Yelp
Great sushi and hot dishes We tried a little of everything... Drinks were not sweet thank god
google avatar

Menghai T.

Yelp
I came here during the happy hour and got the JB Tempura($10), Lava Drop roll($10), seared salmon($5) , tuna tartare($6), and a lychee dragon berry cocktail ($9). The lava drop and JB tempura both were fried and that tempura flavor was a little overpowering but still tasted very good. The tuna tartare looked like it was ground up tuna, but that look was quite deceiving. It also ended up being good as well. The seared salmon was amazing, easily the best part of the meal. They seared it so it had a nice crust but it also melted in my mouth. Sushi rice was seasoned well and not overcooked. The cocktail was sweet and balanced. Overall some of the best happy hour value you can get down in Boca Raton. Solid staff with excellent food! Food: 8.6 Staff/service: 8 Value: 8.5 Overall: 8.5/10

Yelp
Great inside/outside bar. Quality late night happy hour. Fun, chill vibe. Nice staff and quick service.
google avatar

Jenna M.

Yelp
Where to begin? Used to be a clutch spot with sushi boats but after their reopening, everything seems to have gone downhill from the sushi to the service. Be prepared to pay big bucks for small rolls and make sure to BYOW (bring your own water) because refills were few and far between. Great location and looks cool inside but would definitely recommend finding a better food option.
google avatar

Yelp
Since opening again, this has become my favorite local spot!! The decor is great, and they have plenty of seating. They are also dog friendly. The staff is friendly and the food typically comes out pretty quick. The best appetizers in my opinion are the bang bang shrimp and the lobster and crab Rangoon. Their hibachi fried rice is one of the best I have had (make sure you ask for yum yum sauce), and their sushi is always fresh and really tasty. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. A must try in the area.
google avatar

Sanita M.

Yelp
Great restaurant, tasty dishes. Their sushi rolls are really good and fresh. Employees are friendly.

Yelp
I go to Kanpai every week and it never disappoints and the food is consistently good. Service all around is excellent and prices are fair. They are also open somewhat late and offer a Happy Hour after 10 and that just can't be beat. The menu is large and varied and most of the food is better than other sushi/Asian restaurants in the area.
google avatar

Angelo R.

Yelp
I can't believe this was my first time visiting this place. I've been to Mizner Park are many times but overlooked this Asian restaurant until recently. Not only does this place offer sushi but also Japanese BBQ. The place is huge. 2 bars, a sushi bar, a dining area for BBQ and another window sitting area plus outdoor bar seats. We sat at one of the tables inside with the window view. The place is modern and dimly lit. Our server immediately offered us some cocktails. They were great and not watered down. We got 2 kinds of rolls, Bad and Boujee and Crouching Tiger Maki. Both were beautifully presented and flavorful. We also got the Spicy Tuna Caviar Tower. Wow to die for. For the main course we shared the Wagyu Kimchi Paella and Black Cod Misoyaki. Both amazing. The paella was bursting with flavor and rice was perfectly al dente. The Cod was also perfectly cooked. Smooth, soft, and buttery. Melted in my mouth. For cocktails, I got the Old Fashioned and my friend got the De Bees Knees. They didn't disappoint. Of course, we had to get dessert so we tried the Green Tea Cheesecake. Dam. It was so good. I could've ordered another slice just for myself :) We had a great time at this restaurant. We don't live close by but next time there's another event at Mizner, we'd definitely come here again, especially during happy hour. The selections look tempting and the prices are very reasonable. There's metered parking everywhere but they also have a limited space private lot.

Yelp
I came in on Sunday at 4pm. I sat at the outdoor bar and I think I was the only person there. It was very peaceful honestly. I ordered miso soup which was very refreshing and perfect appetizer (for me) for $5. I then ordered the Bulgogi for $28. The meat was very flavorful and the onions were perfectly caramelized, the rice was plain which is typical for Japanese restaurants. I wish the rice was a little fluffier but it's ok. The bartender was accommodating to my needs and didn't rush me.

Yelp
Sorry in advance for the long winded review. I wish I had a higher rating for this place. I've been waiting to try it all through the construction period, as a friend of mine used to go often before the fire and would say how good it was. We finally went last night for dinner and weren't overly impressed. A few hits and a few misses. Service was good, decor was cute, and we were seated immediately. Menu wise it was a little overwhelming. We each had regular menus, but between the three of us were sharing a happy hour menu, the BBQ grill menu and their promotional spice tasting menu. After some time (and rotating menus multiple between the 3 of us), we decided to try the promotional prefix menu at 45$ a person. Luckily we all chose that because we were informed after deciding that all had to order it for anyone to order it (which seemed strange but ok). We also started with a few happy hour apps: spring rolls, gyoza and the charred soy edamame. Spring rolls and gyoza were great. The charred soy edamame had virtually no char to it and wasn't very hot. The apps that came with our prefix were also good, with 2 of us getting the crispy spicy tuna. Entrees and dessert is really where it fell flat. 2 of us got the BBQ prefix of steak and chicken, with both of them not really finding the steak to be good quality. The chicken also burned into little pieces of char because our grill temp was on max heat (we didn't know that). We also weren't given any cook time info for the food. My bulgogi was ok, certainly not the quality you'd expect for the price, and a bit oily. Now dessert; they were out of the flavor mochi I had ordered, and the ones we were given (a plate of 2 mochi) tasted like they dug them out of the depths of the freezer. You'd by far be better off with a box from Trader Joe's. Overall: I'd come back for happy hour and stick to a few discounted apps. But for price vs quality, I didn't really see it here.

Yelp
Have lived in boca for a while and always passed kanpai saying "I'll go there ones day." So I finally did! We went on a week day and was seated immediately. Had a few drinks which were amazing. Once ordered I swear the food came out within minutes piping hot and delicious. The menu is huge and everything I had was super yummy. Our server Conner was great and very helpful. Overall, service and food was great! Will most definitely be coming back.

Yelp
I really liked the Hokkaido Sun, the Chick-fil-A Roll was forgettable but okay. Tap water isn't filtered, so it tastes like rotten eggs. Decent recommendation if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed with a lot of the sushi. Service was alright, ambiance is trendy.

Yelp
Let's roll in this delicious journey that is Kanpai ! Located near Mizner Park , this Japanese restaurant offers an array of dishes that will make you do a happy dance! They also offer Japanese bbq! Don't forget their cocktail list. I had "Da Bee's Knee" which not only beautifully presented, but so good! I have to give a shoutout to our server, Angelo, for giving us such great service. This is perfect for all occasions. Big and small groups, date nights, or family night out.

Yelp
We attended a VIP "sneak peek" of the restaurant last evening, May 9th. The highly anticipated grand (re)opening starts today, May 10th. Based on what we experienced, we think this location will be a very popular one and wish them well in the future. They had a select list of drinks to sample and passed "bites" from their new menu to taste. These were complimentary. You could order additional drinks or select something to purchase from their regular menu, as well. Two of the most popular drinks, besides the vodka/sake and Sapporo Japanese beer, were their lychee martini and the "devil's advocate". The haku vodka martini was gorgeously presented with an orchid flower and a lychee fruit on a cocktail pick topped it off. The "advocate" had tequila and passion fruit along with a spicy rim. No one went thirsty. We got to sample a lot of their "bites". One of the most innovative was their avocado tempura. Imagine deep fried, battered avocado. We also liked the sushi, the bang bang rock shrimp, the gyoza dumpling, the Tokyo fries with a spicy aioloi, and the steamed edamame. Their regular menu includes a wide selection of Asian fusion staring with soups and salads. Cold bites -- even carpaccio; hot bites -- Korean chicken anyone? Main plates have Korean and japanese offerings. And there are sushi rolls, of course. Can't wait to come back and try them now that they are officially open.

Yelp
My wife was able to get special invites to a SNEAK PEAK EVENT before the official opening on May 10th, 2023. Everything was very well organized and exuding a festive vibe. The servers were very friendly and helpful in explaining the drink menu and appetizers. I chose the DEVIL'S ADVOCATE for myself and my wife had a LYCHEE MARTINI. The Devil's Advocate cocktail had two of my favorite ingredients; St Germain and Passion fruit juice, along with tequila and other spicy mixes. It grabs your attention very fast! The food appetizers were very good and included; Bang bang Shrimp, Edamame, Truffle fries, Dumplings and Deep fried Avocado. We shared a table with a number of our Yelp friends and enjoyed the evening. Based on what we experienced they should do quite well!
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
Kanpai had their soft opening event tonight May 9th. They offered some drinks on the house and some free appetizers. I was partial to the Lychee Martini, served with a nice fresh flower and sweet plump lychees. The place was busy with people that had been longing for its reopening more than 2 years out. I loved their truffle fries, wings, and cocktails. They had a DJ which made the place lively and fun. Their new menu was varied and it priced well for an upscale dining place like this. The service was as friendly and warm. The place looked amazing !

Yelp
Service and ambiance is good. Food is just so so. I ordered bang bang shrimp as recommended by the other reviews. It's average, nothing special.

Yelp
Food is good. I used to enjoy their late night 10 pm happy hour with the floating sushi bar that you could take what you wanted off the floating bar. Since it reopens it's about the same as many other sushi restaurants. Decent food.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic restaurant! I crave their fried rice! Service was beyond excellent! We continued to order items from the menu over the course of the evening and our waitress was so pleasant about it. The sushi was premium, and that comes from a girl who grew up in Japan. The mixed drinks are so very creative. We all ordered something different to try since most of us couldn't make up our mind on just one. The atmosphere is so creative and sets the tone for good food! Can't wait to return!

So glad I stopped in after seeing it reopened... The sushi was always amazing however now it's elevated, quality amazing, ambiance way better and just an overall top tier experience in not only the Boca/sushi and food scene but in the entirety of south Florida The Wagyu dumplings were amazing, uni, unagi, crispy rice tuna , tried the blue fin roll and the star of the night for me was the Hokkaido roll, WOW The Hokkaido was buttery however the highlight was the citrus and herbs on top of the scallop, my goodness.... Sensory overload Highly recommend coming here for the amazing food and great service

Yelp
Normally I love coming to kanpai, unfortunately I didn't have the best experience when I went on saturday night. It was a beautiful saturday the sunset was super pretty and we were sat right away by the nice host. Me and my family were not greeted for over 10 minutes when we sat down. We were also not checked in upon our meal. The food was delicious we got the galbi, shrimp fried rice and korean fried chicken. However my strawberry margarita was disappointing and if our server did come to check on us I would've asked for something else. I love kanpai their always a restaurant I look to go to I just hope that the next time I come the service isn't an issue.

Yelp
Only came here for the late happy hour after dinner across the street. The food looked great, but stuck to drinks. Japanese liquor a great deal. If you haven't tried Roku Gin, Haku Vodka, or Suntori Whiskey, now is your chance. They also have plenty of beer and sake. 5/5. Great deals. High quality stuff. Excellent service. Will be back when in Boca!

Yelp
The food was excellent and although I ordered the food to go, I was greeted with a happy smile and courtesy. The product was very good with a lot more fish than rice.

Yelp
Very good spot. Sushi is very high quality. Nice vibe. Service could be a little bit better but not a big deal. Wish they were open for lunch.

Yelp
Excited to be back since Kanpai's reopening! I definitely had a way better experience this time around compared to before. Everyone from the hostess to the wait staff was attentive and friendly! If you're craving a cocktail, I recommend the Lychee Martini and/or the Mojito! It was amazingggg. Appetizers - the miso soup was delicious! Both the gyoza and spring rolls were great and I'd definitely get them again. For sushi roll, I was indecisive so I played it safe with the JB Roll. It was really good, but a small portion. I'd either make them bigger rolls or add more than just 8. All in all, very happy to see Kanpai back and I'm sure we'll return soon :)

Yelp
I thought they had very good food and good service if on the pricey side but no real different then the rest of restaurants price wise in downtown Boca Raton. I am really glad to see them back open after the fire they had not to long ago.

Yelp
Service at the bar was perfect. Food also came so fast. Was so delicious. We got pork gyoza, beef, shrimp tempura roll, and the lobster and crab Rangoon. We will be back. Great prices. The outdoor seating at the bar was top notch and dry even in the rain.

Yelp
We had a good experience here. The ambience was great and the food was pretty good also. The waitress did forget one of our dishes, but brought it once we reminded her. Strangely they don't carry Diet Coke - only Coke Zero. Despite that, we would go back and would recommend.

Yelp
My fiancé, our friends and I LOVE Kanpai. Their food is fantastic and the ambience is amazing. Last time we were there we took my dad out for dinner for his birthday. He absolutely love the food, the restaurant, and our amazing server lliana. She was so so amazing. My dad loves to joke around with people and she picked up on his humor right away. She helped make my dad's birthday dinner even more special. She's definitely an asset to Kanpai. So thank you Iliana and Kanpai for making our night so wonderful. We hope to see Iliana again when we go back!

Yelp
Ok, so I'll begin with reservations. I booked online for 4 people at the BBQ Table because that was something we were looking forward to. Once we got there, everyone was so nice and our waitress was amazing! Once we went to order, we asked what we can bbq and our waitress said that the bbq grill will begin to work in about 2 weeks. Obviously, we were upset because they didn't state that anywhere across their social media platforms. So we just ordered some drink and bites. The Lychee Martini was delicious! We got 2 different kinds of edamame, they were both very bland. The spring rolls and Waygu Gyoza was very good! We also had miso soup which was very tasty. Then, I got the 911 Roll, and it was ok. Not much flavour. They did open a week before we visited, so they probably just need some time to get the hang of it. Will be coming back to try the BBQ.
