Incredible dining experience! Top-tier Wagyu beef, Michelin-quality service, and great vibe in the restaurant. The space is cozy, and the tables are spread far apart, making it perfect for chatting with friends without any noise issues. Centrally located in SOHO area, it's super easy to get to either from subway station or bus stop. Highly recommend. I already want to bring other friends back here!

I had an amazing dining experience at Kanpai Classic Soho. The quality of the Japanese Wagyu was outstanding! Rich, flavourful, and beautifully grilled. The yakiniku set offered a great variety of cuts, and it was such a pleasure to learn about each one while enjoying the meal. Every dish, from the wagyu sushi( extra order for appetiser)to the chicken kamameshi, was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. A special thank you to Ms Hopper, who treated us with such kindness and professionalism. The staff grilled everything with great care, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the experience. Perfect for a special occasion or when you want to treat yourself to something truly memorable. I would definitely love to come back.

The Wagyu Yakiniku tasting menu is a real treat. They serve different cuts of Wagyu beef all grilled tableside over charcoal. Different cuts are served with different dips and the whole experience was great. In my opinion there is no need to upgrade from Mono steak to any other cut as it’s already pretty good and included in the set menu. Our server Hopper was very friendly, attentive and explained all the different cuts to us. Cocktails are also pretty good the only downside is it’s a bit pricy but that’s expected if you get Wagyu beef.

Everything was excellent and top-notch. Would definitely recommend! Dined here to celebrate anniversary. We got the Yakiniku feast, yellowtail ceviche, chicken kamameshi, strawberry cheesecake ice cream and hitachino beer (we got excited seeing this in their drinks menu). And everything was perfect. Its really a good experience that they grill the wagyu and they explain each cut. Its a plus as well that they give free dessert, which is very very good as well. And lastly. The service was really commendable.

A Delightful Birthday Celebration!! I recently celebrated my birthday at Kempai Classic Soho, and the experience was nothing but exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was flawless our host warmly welcomed us and ensured we had a great seat. A special shout-out to our personal server, Ash, whose patience and attention to detail truly especially due to allergies elevated the evening. He guided us through the Yakiniku Feast, a £54 five-piece Wagyu tasting menu, explaining the origin and characteristics of each cut and how best to enjoy them. To top it all off, I was surprised us with a beautiful dessert to mark the birthday celebration. Kempai Classic Soho has mastered the art of customer experience, and we’ll definitely be returning.

Had a great experience with the Wagyu beef “journey” at Kanpai. Each cut paired really well with the sauces, and it was a lovely time enjoying it with friends. Portions were on the smaller side, so we ordered an extra chicken pot rice to fill ourselves up. Overall, the quality was excellent—service was just a bit too fast for a slow eater like me, we also were asked to return the table quite quickly, even though other available tables were still uncleared. While waiting for our coats, we were already asked to step out, so we had to wait at the entrance.

Without hesitation - best gastro experience ever! What can I say, best meat we've ever tried, service by Eva was charming and phenomenal. She arranged 5+1 course wagyu selection tasting menu, which was prepared with great care and love, while explaining everything in the tiniest detail while grilling it for us. Great selection of apetizers, side dishes and deserts, all very original and simple yet thought trough. Signature cocktails and sake are also wonderfull. I cannot explain how much of a joy was to visit their fine establishment. You are the best guys, I hope we see you again soon! Visiting London from Melbourne, Australia. Found this restaurant online and gave it a go. Love everything that I had and the service was great. I had the omasake set with sirloin steak and it was a fantastic experience. Will definitely come back again if I visit London again in the near future!
