Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel

As a titanium member, I’ve stayed in many Marriott properties around the world. The Kaohsiung Marriott is one of the best Marriott properties I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a fairly new hotel so everything is in impeccable condition. But most importantly, the service is incredible. They acknowledged my Titanium status upon arrival and offered a suite upgrade. Check in was extremely smooth and the receptionist was very professional yet warm and friendly. When I arrived to my room I was surprised and delighted to find a birthday card and cake prepared for me. It’s these little things that go a long way to make such an enjoyable stay. Great work Kaohsiung Marriott team!

The room is spacious with a sofa, two single chair and 2 coffee table. The 2 bed bedroom is very large and sufficient for two people. The bed is quite large and comfy. The bathroom is very spacious too. The view is good and can see far away with good view. The spa pool facility at L12 is very good, tried twice during my stay. The gym room is very large with many facilities too. There is also free exercise class too. The service is excellent. I enjoy my stay with my family a lot and want to stay for more days. The location is good and easy to access. Overall, worth the money and is very very good. Excellent sound insulation from neighbour unit and street.

If you plan on taking Uber, pick up your luggage and exit door #8. Call Uber. Wait for your ride in the parking lot 50 meters across door#8. It was 466NT$, about $15 US. We took quite a number of shorter trips under 4 miles and they were only a few US$.|The hotel is great. Room was clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Happy hour at the club lounge was fine. We tried the Cantonese restaurant for Dim Sum on the 7 floor. The name is King Chui Hong Kong Cafe. We had beef Chow Fun for about $10US. Dim Sum about 5 to 6 dollars. |We stay there for 8 days on business. We'll be back.

Located right next to the Heart of Love River, this is a superb Marriott hotel. My room was very spacious with excellent bedding, lots of lighting, both bathtub and walk-in shower, and heated toilet/bidet system. ||I had executive lounge access and was taken great care of by reps Kristy and Zi-Ching. The executive lounge offers an excellent breakfast with cooked-to-order eggs, and a really wonderful happy hour with food offerings and alcohol. You also have the option of having breakfast in the M9 breakfast buffet - a tremendous amount of different yummy foods. I also had lunch at the Hong Kong Cafe - gourmet dim sum; very good. ||The hotel has a huge fitness center with lots of different exercise station machines, along with treadmills, free weights, and more. You can definitely have a great workout here. ||Connected to the hotel is the eSkyland shopping mall; also walking distance to the Aozihdi metro station for the Kaohsiung MRT.||If you visit Kaohsiung I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The Kaohsiung Marriott is conveniently located just a 15 minute drive from the high speed rail station. Public transportation like the metro and light rail are right next to the hotel, making its location excellent. The hotel is connected to E SKY MALL, providing easy access to dining and shopping, including the nearby Costco. ||The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful especially Mr. Julius Chao. Even though I'm only a Platinum member, they tried their best to find a suite for my family to stay comfortably. I'm very satisfied with Marriott's service.||The hotel has about 7 spa pools, including 2 hot spring pools, which are nice to stay in during the winter. Breakfast offered a wide variety and local southern Taiwanese delicacies, which I greatly enjoyed. ||The only downside was perhaps due to recent company banquets, the lobby smelled quite strongly of cigarette smoke at night, contrasting sharply with the light and fresh scents during the day.||Overall, the Kaohsiung Marriott is currently one of my top favorite hotels. I look forward to staying there again on my next visit to Kaohsiung.

The room is spacious, that's all. I've stayed some 20 nights with colleagues at this location. We leave early and I arrive normally before noon right off an international flight + HSR from Taoyuan. Every time I request an early check-in I have to wait a long time and be reminded of a Gold member that the check in time is 3pm. Will try somewhere else more friendly next time.

Good location where near to subway and have large department store nearby hotel. Guest room was really big and bed was comfortable. However, hotel need to arrange window cleaning as window was very dirty. |Gym room was really nice that have lots of equipment and have private room for several lessons.

Even though the buffet’s food was good, the service was absolutely terrible. We were a party of 10, and while we were in the midst of eating and others were getting food - the waitress had audacity to ask us to move seats because they mixed up the table arrangement. It is not our fault that they mixed up the table arrangement given this buffet had plenty of other open seats they should have at least some common sense to rearrange seating while not intruding other parties that are already seated. When we were reluctant to move seats, the waitress had a nasty attitude insisting we move. I have been to several Marriott properties globally and this service was by far the worst
