Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel

I’m staying here for a week. The hotel is spacious, and the rooms are large. The staff is incredibly kind, but I want to express my deepest gratitude to Duty Manager Jim Huang and the front desk Rebecca. They went above and beyond to help me celebrate my father-in-law’s 90th birthday. They provided a great room location, a quiet table for breakfast, and even delivered a cake to my room. Jim is an invaluable asset to the hotel, and I’m excited to interact with the other staff members during my stay.

I stayed at Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel today and had a wonderful experience! The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the shower water pressure was excellent, which made it really enjoyable. The staff were also extremely friendly and attentive, providing outstanding service from check-in to check-out. I noticed some negative reviews online, but honestly, my experience was completely different. This hotel truly deserves encouragement and recognition. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and look forward to coming back again!

A heartfelt thank you to General Manager Tony Wong and his outstanding team for making our stay so memorable.||Location: The hotel is perfectly situated—just a short walk to Kaohsiung Main MRT (red line), and only one stop from the orange line. Plus, direct access to the E-Sky Mall makes dining and shopping incredibly convenient.||Service & Hospitality: Every department impressed us—from the warm welcome at Concierge to the friendly staff at the fitness center, pool, and especially the Executive Lounge on the 33rd floor. A special shout-out to Chef Tony and the breakfast team: the variety, quality, and taste of the breakfast offerings were among the best I’ve ever had—anywhere in the world.||Room Comfort: Our room was peaceful, with excellent air conditioning, strong Wi-Fi, powerful water pressure, and a bed that made sleep easy. Everything functioned perfectly, making it a relaxing retreat after exploring the city.||Housekeeping: The housekeeping staff, especially the wonderful team from Cebu, Philippines, were friendly, meticulous, and consistently went above and beyond to keep our room fresh and spotless.||This hotel sets a high standard in both hospitality and comfort. If you’re visiting Kaohsiung, I strongly recommend staying here. Thank you again to Tony Wong and his exceptional team—you’ve created something truly special.

Quick 1 night stay at the club access room on the top floors. Nothing really to complain about, very solid experience, especially for the food at the club lounge and breakfast buffet. Very impressive atrium as well. ||Location wise, it is good enough but not the best to be honest, though I appreciate that it is connected to a large shopping mall and not far away from the MRT red line + LRT. The surrounding area is expected to get more animated after the opening of the adjacent sister building and the completion of Fubon redevelopment project.

Love this hotel. Great pools and water area. Lounge is top notch. Service is getting better and better. Connected to Costco and a nice mall. Easy access to best of what Kaohsiung has to offer.

From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcomed. Extremely efficient check-in with a smile (young lady [Cyprus?] was incredibly professional and courteous!!). The room was spotless; the bathroom layout fantastic. And our view from our floor was delightful. The hotel lobby’s convenient access to the mall is an added touch. When leaving one morning, we literally had 2-3 staff assist us to quickly obtain one of several taxis waiting, and they even helped us get seated. We loved everything about this hotel and will definitely be back when visiting Kaohsiung! Great job Marriott!

My brother and my dad had stayed at this hotel for two nights and the room had 2 beds. The service was wonderful and that the breakfast was wonderful at the club lounge. The location was perfect this is because many people pass through this area daily and is located near a mall.

One of the best stays I have had at a Marriott. Service from the staff is excellent in all areas of the hotel (reception, luggage, pool, executive lounge). I received an upgrade to the executive grand suite as a platinum member and it was an excellent spotless room with multiple lounging areas, massive bed, and great view. The hot tub area was great with multiple different temperature pools and dry/wet saunas. I wish I knew they required swimming caps for it so I could have brought mine, but buying one there was pretty cheap (NTD 150). The executive club food during happy hour was a very pleasant surprise. I thought there would be just some snacks/hors d'oeuvres with a beer, but it was a full on buffet dinner with various western and asian choices and self serve variety of liquors and beers. Breakfast was also had a variety of western and asian choices. I couldn't have been any happier with this area stay!
