"Kaos is run by three young partners, all of whom trained in leading restaurants such as El Celler de Can Roca, Disfrutar, and Enigma. As you descend the stairs, you come to a pleasant bar crowned by an open-brick vaulted ceiling and, to one side, a modern dining room furnished in contemporary style. The à la carte takes its inspiration from what is available in the market, is reasonably varied and up-to-date in feel, and is always complemented by daily suggestions featuring local, seasonal ingredients (the famous Palamós red prawn, for example, is served as a carpaccio, cooked, or in croquettes). The rice dishes here are all prepared individually." - Michelin Inspector

Eaten more often and every time a party on your plate! The flavor combinations are very nice and a nice extensive wine list. Order multiple dishes to share and the staff will ensure the correct order

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent and very creative. The scallops with miso coffee and the cod were outstanding, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant itself has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We had a truly spectacular lunch at Kaos today. Each course was delicious and served with warmth and a lovely smile by Meme. It was the best meal we have had in Spain. The burrata with pickled pumpkin, duck ham and toasted pumpkin seeds was outstanding. The polpo was maybe the best I have eaten. The oysters were huge and delicious. And I had the best wine I can remember. We will come back to Palomos for this restaurant alone!

We’ve just had a fantastic meal here. Warm & charming service, who guided us through their vibrant menu, recommending superb local wines, to complement their delicious food. Elite dining without any pretentiousness. I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Kaos for a wonderful experience.

This restaurant is a must for visiting Palamós. The waiting staff are friendly. The food is fresh and the combination of ingredients makes so much sense. It was our first time having Palamós red prawns and there are a variety of dishes that you can select from which all tastes amazing. The sweetest prawns that we have had before. The (Basque) cheesecake made with sheep cheese and blue cheese is to die for which we must ask you to order. No other cheesecake’s taste or texture can compare to it. I have been thinking about it for a couple days now and kicking myself for not getting a second piece.

If you find yourself in Palamós, Kaos is an absolute must-visit — a place where the sea and fire meet on the plate with incredible creativity. From the very first bite, it’s clear that this is not just a meal, but an experience. We began with the oysters served with a Bloody Mary twist — briny, fresh, and lifted by just the right touch of spice and citrus. A playful, refreshing start that immediately set the tone. The prawn carpaccio followed, delicate and almost ethereal in texture, showcasing the sweetness of Palamós prawns with a finesse that lets the ingredient shine in its purest form. The marrow bone was pure indulgence — roasted to perfection, rich and velvety, with that smoky depth that makes you want to savor every single bite. And then came the star of the afternoon: the rice with clams. It was soulful and perfectly executed, the rice carrying all the flavor of the sea, balanced with a subtle creaminess and the delicate brininess of the clams. Comforting, elegant, and deeply satisfying all at once. To complete the experience, the Trenzado wine was a brilliant pairing — aromatic, complex, and vibrant, with a mineral freshness that tied the whole menu together beautifully. It elevated each dish while still letting the ingredients speak for themselves. Kaos is more than a restaurant — it’s a celebration of local ingredients, bold ideas, and culinary passion. Every dish feels alive, every flavor tells a story, and every moment at the table lingers long after you’ve left. Thanks Alberto & Carolina

Kaos is a gem of a restaurant in Palamos. We tried it first in early July and couldn’t wait to go back. The food is delicious, and a modern take on traditional Spanish cuisine, the spiralised Bravas, the Iberian pork croquettes, the Zucchini flowers, Red Palamos prawn rice, too many to mention. Cristina and the staff are attentive, and friendly and recognised us each time we dined there. The restaurant is stylish but relaxing, and we have recommended it to friends, we can’t wait to return.
