What an unforgettable stay!||The game drives were thrilling and safe thanks to our fantastic guide Nico, our tracker Ringo and trainee tracker Rea. We also enjoyed an amazing bush walk, thanks to guides Collin and Edwin. In the restaurant, Rodney and his team served absolutely delicious food with top-class service. Our room was always spotless and welcoming, with thoughtful touches like a constant supply of fresh water.||The hotel lounge, right in the heart of the reserve, is stunning. Its elegant design blends beautifully with the surrounding wilderness, creating a peaceful and sophisticated space to relax after a day of adventure. The calm and quiet here are unmatched.||Many hotels can offer comfort and beautiful surroundings, but what truly makes Kapama River Lodge exceptional is its staff. Warm, professional, endlessly friendly, always smiling and ready to help – they turn a wonderful stay into an unforgettable experience.||A magical combination of nature, comfort, and genuinely caring people – we will never forget this place! We recently had the privilege of staying at Kapama River Lodge for a safari experience, and it was absolutely amazing! The lodge itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and comfortable rooms that exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and our server, Tint, was exceptional in ensuring our dining experience was top-notch. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the safari experience, led by the incredible Eve and Ma Fridge. They were not only expert guides but also showed a remarkable ability to connect with our 6-year-old daughter, making the experience enjoyable for the whole family. We were thrilled to spot all of the Big 5 and so much more during our safari, and the guides' knowledge and passion for the wildlife and conservation were evident throughout. What really stood out to us, however, was the exceptional service and attention to detail shown by every staff member we encountered. The lodge went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary requirements, ensuring that our meals were carefully prepared with halal food options clearly highlighted. It felt as though the housekeeping team came and made up the rooms every time we stepped out.The spa treatments we booked were heavenly, providing the perfect relaxation after our exciting safari adventures. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with Kapama River Lodge, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience. The staff's friendliness, warmth, and dedication to providing an exceptional guest experience truly set Kapama apart. Our stay at Kapama (as part of an Adventures by Disney tour) exceeded every expectation. The property itself is so beautiful. The food was outstanding. Every staff member from dining to spa to game drives was so friendly and wonderful to us. Our warden Collins and tracker Thomas spotted SO many animals on our game drives. They taught us so much about the animals, the land, the African culture. We will never forget this visit.

We went on safari at the Kapama River Lodge with some friends and my girlfriend and we had an experience beyond what we could imagine. Flying all the way from Peru (in South America) we had a very, very long trip and we were exhausted by the time we got there, but even so, we had an amazing few days at the lodge. As soon as we got to reception, we were greeted kindly and they explained the program very clearly, which was followed to perfection. We had the best safari experience were we got to see the Big Five with our great driver and guide, Happiness and with our tracker Fanie. They were so kind to answer every question we had and we also had the car to ourselves, which made us very comfortable. The food at the hotel, for us being vegan, was amazing. Every dish had its plant-based version and they had insane ingredients. The drinks were also very enjoyable and the whole setting of the restaurant were we had all our meals was so comfortable. ||||This has been beyond our imagination and even though it was a costly trip for us, economically and physically due to the length of it, it was totally worth it and more and we would probably be back at some point just because of that.

We had an amazing experience during our 3-day stay at Kapama River Lodge. Our guide/ranger and tracker, Happiness and Fanie were really amazing and experienced in the game drives - we were able to see the Big Five twice across the 6 game drives included in our stay. The hotel is very comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy the day between the drives. We had a good experience with the food in all meals - some better than others, but good overall. Service at lunch could be a bit slow compared to other meals but not a huge problem. Come prepared for the windy and cold game drives, especially during winter. Once the sun goes down in the afternoon drive or before it really heats up in the morning, it’s tough, but they try to help with blankets and hot water bags. Anyhow, have your strongest coats and jackets ready. The guides were experienced and kept us calm even when a pack of lions was literally around us and our cars - a breathtaking experience. Every staff member was very attentive and always ready to help. Within the reserve, you can see some of the wildlife but the real fun happens during the drives. Make sure you notice to your guide what you want to see and they will try their best to support it. We had one drink and didn’t like it, but the wine menu has great options - we only drank what was included, none of the exclusive list options. The spa prices are expensive - I ended up not using it.

Kapama is a true 5 star experience. Great staff, who are always happy to see you. Food is exceptional and service was really fast. Safari was outstanding. Our guides spoke excellent English and were very talented at spotting even the smallest or most difficult game. They have morning and twilight Safari outings. We saw the Big 5 and many more. Just can't thank Thabo and Martial enough. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Thanks to Adventures by Disney for offering this experience.

The game drives were exciting and safe thanks to fantastic guides, the restaurant delivered absolutely delicious food with top-class service, and our room was always spotless and welcoming. We loved the constant supply of fresh water – such a thoughtful touch. The entire staff was incredible, always warm and friendly, making this place truly special.

The property offers a 5-star experience in terms of accommodations, food, and game viewing. Very helpful staff as well. The game reserve allows you to get much closer to the animals than is usually the case, and the guides are very knowledgeable about the animals and birds. Can't really comment about "value" because our stay was part of a multi-location tour whose elements weren't individually costed.
