Went to their pop up in union square. So much ube stuff which was fun! It’s very sweet. Very very sweet. And very oily. $6 for two pretty large items which isn’t bad. Solid gluten free dessert options.

I have been a loyal and frequent customer of this establishment, dining here approximately three to four times a week. I continually return because the food is consistently delicious and evokes the familiar comfort of authentic Filipino cuisine. The ambiance ok but a bit crowded during busy hours. and the overall dining experience is one I have genuinely appreciated over time. As a regular patron, however, I would like to offer a gentle observation. Given the frequency of my visits, it might be reasonable to expect — even in the smallest way — a gesture of appreciation, particularly during the Christmas season, which is well-known in Filipino culture as a time of generosity and gratitude. A modest token, perhaps a complimentary side dish or a tiny holiday treat, would certainly not go unnoticed. Of course, I understand that returning customers happily supporting the business year-round may already be considered reward enough. Nonetheless, I continue to value this restaurant and hope that, moving forward, loyal customers might feel just a little more recognized — especially during a season that celebrates thoughtfulness and giving.

Breakfast was not of good value. I should have read the reviews before coming. I regret getting my silog here. The staff is not clear as to what is included in the 2 dishes for breakfast. So when you go to the counter, you'll be in for a surprise with how much you'll pay. For the amount they charge, you'll get better value at the other Filipino restaurants in the area, for better food, bigger servings and better service.

This review is for Kapamilya at the Ubeland Philippines Fest in NYC. We got their halo halo and it was so disappointing. The mix-ins was just a fruit cocktail (peaches, grapes, cherries)—no beans, no jellies, no palm seeds, no normal mix-ins, JUST fruit cocktail. Their festival menu also said it included ice cream and flan, but the scoop on top is just ube paste, and no flan to be seen. Such a shame because the line for halo-halo was so long. I hope they just ran out of ingredients or something and that’s why it was so lacking.

Halo- Halo is terrible!!! So disappointing!!! A waste of money . And the cashier said i "should be happy that the ice still hard " and also said "so what do you want to happen?" Poor customer service! No receipt given as well, so how can i refund it. The halo-halo ingredients is is not enticing to eat.

Wish I had read the reviews before coming here. Unfortunately, I regret going here, expecting to have an authentic Filipino dining experience. The staff seem to have the faintest idea or have little knowledge of their products. Also, they were rude for reasons I cannot understand. For the amount they charge, you'll expect for their food to be worth the price and to have bigger servings. If you don’t want your expectations and experience to be disappointing, there are other Filipino restaurants in the area that I guess are better in terms of food and customer service.

The dinuguan and chicken curry were almost inedible. Why are the dishes so freaking oily?! Did the Exxon Valdez crash into their kitchen???!!!

The best pastries I’ve ever had - MUST try for the ube buns. They’re my favorite!!!

The restroom at this restaurant is always out of order for some odd reason. Please do yourself a favor and find another restaurant that has a working restroom. There's plenty of other Filipino restaurants around the area.

Not worth trying if you see them at food festivals. Meats are hard to chew, ube bakeries is basically food coloring, and over priced

Love the food! Worth the wait. Pinoy Cafeteria style. Love the halo-halo in a hot day, the vegan choices that have tofu, Pinoy barbecue, banana-cue, and turón!

This little bakery has some good food. I came in and ordered a combo meal with 2 dishes which came with rice. I ordered dinuguan and Pancit. The dinuguan was absolutely delicious and the Pancit was pretty good. Portion size wasn't bad either. I did end up cleaning the plate clear. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. It's usually not so crowded so there's always a table to ding and sit and eat in peace.

Ordered the pork rolls and I bit into it and saw the meat completely raw, brought order back to front and the staff acted like I was the problem, and said it was only my order. Bit into the rest of the rolls and they were all raw, it was disgusting. Their solution was to put back into the air fryer. The rolls that I had just bit into, they put back in the air fryer with others' orders! Just gross. By the time they were done, I was completely uninterested and distrusting on the quality of their food. I did not receive an apology, just handed a bag back to me. Never again. Don't bother with this place unless a trip to the ER with food poisoning is high on your bucket list.

Horrible! To print the receipt charges $.62, food to go extra $. 50 per container. Ripped off! Stay away from this restaurant.#go to next door restaurant

I come here straight from work all the time when I'm craving some delicious Filipino food/breakfast/karanderia. Opens early for the graveshift crowd there is a plethora of Filipino dishes to choose from. The crispy pata is extra crispy. The beef tapa salty, sweet, and tart. The longanisa and the rest of the breakfast fare is delicious. They also have lunch and dinner options like kaldereta, mechado, chicken/pork adobo, and Bicol express, to name a few. All in all a great place to eat when that Filipino craving kicks in.
