"Opened in February 2023, Kapara’s weather-resistant approach to a warm, sunny alfresco dining experience is an inclusive new star in the heart of Soho. Inspired by the hedonism and eclecticism of 1970s Tel Aviv, this space invites guests to playfully indulge in its live music and rich sensorial environment of sweeping curved booths, brass accents, and greenery. Chef Eran Tibi is renowned for his creative take on classic dishes like ceviche (black bream, green apple, lime, scotch bonnet, lemon verbena) and lamb swirl (slow-cooked lamb belly, plum ketchup, lamb jus, stewed plums, lemon thyme), serving up every dish with fresh ingredients. The signature Gazoz cocktail combines fermented fruits and herbs with vodka and arak for a sweet boozy taste of old Tel Aviv. Service and atmosphere was good! Food was on the pricy side and was slightly let down. Aubergine mess had a little too much balsamic it was a little on the sour side. Tomahawk presentation was great! But the beef quality itself can be better? The dip it came with did not really pair well with Single Prawn taco at £9 felt like portions can be better? Coriander chilli orange mocktail was a let down as there’s little to none coriander flavour and was more of a gimmick

FANTASIC!!! So many amazing dishes to choose from! The food was amazing, cocktails hit the spot and service was great… got 50% off via Fork and good job as couldn’t stop trying the dishes… Recommend the Ribs & rice and prawn tacos

Our first time here and we loved the food. We are also big fans of Bala Baya hence we discovered this from the same owner We kept it simple and ordered the aubergine mess which is our absolute favourite, the squid was also very nice and different. Tried the chicken which was sweet tangy and finger licking. For dessert we got the pistachio cigar which was a bit underwhelming. The servers and staff were excellent

really cool vibes, gorgeous decor, very friendly staff. quick service, and the food was phenomenal! i had the mini mess and lamb shank shakshuka - both were divine! drinks were delicious. would highly highly recommend checking this place out!

Came here for Saturday brunch, there was no need for reservation. The team was nice and attentive. The food was also unique and delicious. The spot also looks ideal for a dinner or drinks later in the day. The restaurant is also beautiful.

Deco and vibe is good. Service is good. Food presentation is also great. The cod fish was overcooked to me, and I wonder if it may be the way middle east cuisine usually does. A bottle of red wine is over 40 pounds but you have to accept the price in Central London.

Beautiful ambience. My friend liked her artichokes and pink fur. I liked my lamb hummous for most part. Some feedback - the pitta was slightly stodgy, heavy and the hummous was too salty for my liking. I really liked the dessert - very unique flavor profile.

I had a really positive experience at Bala Baya a few months back so I was excited to try the sister restaurant and unfortunately it just didn't deliver. Despite it being nearly empty, service was SO slow. It took almost 45 minutes for one of my dishes to come out. They didn't have either glass of white wine I wanted on the menu so I settled for a rosé. I ordered: 1. The frenah loaf (£11). 1/5. It was so dry and I didn't rate either of the dips it was served with. 2. The aubergine heart (£13). 4/5. This was a great dish, flavours were very balanced and the aubergine was cooked well 3. The oxtail hummus (£15). 3/5. Overall tasty, but the oxtail was lacking in flavour. The pitas tasted store bought. All in all they would be better off paying more attention to service & quality of food rather than the aesthetic (which, to be fair, is lovely - it's a gorgeous restaurant).

What a treat our evening at Kapara was. If they offer you a seat at the kitchen bar, take it. We had so much fun chatting with the chef as he cooked and learning his story. The food was delicious and inventive, and the presentation was impeccable.

Yum the food here is so good. Glad I got to try it when I was visiting London. We were a group of 5 and got shareable plates including cheese balls, broccolini, hummus, and ox tail. Everything was flavorful and filling!
