Kapara Soho

What a great place to eat, especially for when the weather is nice and you can sit outside. We were a group of 6 and ordered a large selection of items from the A la carte menu which we all shared including several bottles of wine. Everything tasted fresh, was flavoursome and arrived pretty quickly. Out of all the dishes, my favourite had to be the beef short rib and burnt edge rice. It was succulent and full of flavour. The aubergine and dates was a close second. The service was great too, attentive but not overbearing. We had a 50% discount voucher so our bill came to just under £70pp which could’ve easily have been £140pp if we had paid full price. So not cheap but definitely worth it. Would recommend.

Shakshuka was flavourful, the addition of short ribs enriched the dish! Pita bread was warm and soft But it was quite greasy in general, where the food were soaked in oil🥹 Highly recommend the chickpea cake, the mashed potato puff was surprisingly good too! The texture and flavour were unexpected and unique The vegetable filling was a little spicy 🌶️ Staff was nice and friendly, but service was a little slow on weekends, even at late afternoon

Serving my favourite type of food.... middle-eastern small plates. Kapara was a delightful find. Lovely, friendly waiters. I especially enjoyed the dessert 'Jaffa cake'. Far superior to any jaffa cake you have eaten before 😋

Had an incredible experience at Kapara in Soho! Our waitress was so helpful, recommending the best dishes—and she was spot on. The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with flavor. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely Monday afternoon lunch with family. The food was perfect and Dani was amazing! We would definitely love to visit again.

Superb dinner at Kapara! The food was all 11/10, flavors are beautifully combined and strong! We got many different plates, recommend the hummus, was great, a must! Aubergine and date dish, cauliflower, rattle potatoes, jerusalem artichoke and tomahawk steak! Pitas, olives and bagel are great to dip! It was a really good dinner, the atmosphere was on point, staff was lovely! Super recommended, they do TheFork discount, definitely make use of it!

We attended this restaurant on pride so there was good vibes. The food was very nice, we had the hummus which came with a nice dash of amba, aubergine, chicken and short ribs. Everything was delicious, perfectly seasoned and we scraped the plates. The dessert babka was okay and a little unexpected. The restaurant lacked an Israeli essence which was a shame. Hopefully that is something that could be improved on to make it feel a little more connected to Israel.

Kapara is pure fun from start to finish. The space is lively with great music, atmosphere, and decor. The food is amazing. Great for sharing. The lamb was tender and full of spice, the salads were bright and zesty, and the dips were perfect. Cocktails are delicious, and the staff keep the vibe upbeat without being overbearing. Perfect spot for a night out with friends when you want great food and a bit of buzz.

Service wasn't fantastic but sufficient:/ ambience is beautiful with some quirky subtle details, like the bathroom tile;) food was good but nothing fantastic.

I had a really positive experience at Bala Baya a few months back so I was excited to try the sister restaurant and unfortunately it just didn't deliver. Despite it being nearly empty, service was SO slow. It took almost 45 minutes for one of my dishes to come out. They didn't have either glass of white wine I wanted on the menu so I settled for a rosé. I ordered: 1. The frenah loaf (£11). 1/5. It was so dry and I didn't rate either of the dips it was served with. 2. The aubergine heart (£13). 4/5. This was a great dish, flavours were very balanced and the aubergine was cooked well 3. The oxtail hummus (£15). 3/5. Overall tasty, but the oxtail was lacking in flavour. The pitas tasted store bought. All in all they would be better off paying more attention to service & quality of food rather than the aesthetic (which, to be fair, is lovely - it's a gorgeous restaurant).

What a treat our evening at Kapara was. If they offer you a seat at the kitchen bar, take it. We had so much fun chatting with the chef as he cooked and learning his story. The food was delicious and inventive, and the presentation was impeccable.

What an outstanding restaurant! Some of the best dishes I've tasted in a long time anywhere (and I live in NY!). The eggplant and artichoke were two of my favourites. As for the cocktails - stunning!

Yum the food here is so good. Glad I got to try it when I was visiting London. We were a group of 5 and got shareable plates including cheese balls, broccolini, hummus, and ox tail. Everything was flavorful and filling!

Thank you for accommodating our large party on short notice. The food, service, and atmosphere were all so exceptional. I'll be back when next in London!

The food and atmosphere at Kapara are both exceptional. The service is also phenomenal. Can't wait to go back again.
