Kapara in Soho more than lived up to the buzz — it’s exactly the kind of place that surprises you in all the best ways! From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about guiding us through the menu, which always makes a huge difference.
The vibe is electric but never chaotic — perfect for both a relaxed dinner and a lively night out. The cocktails were a highlight: I had the chocolate orange drink and it was truly unique, beautifully balanced, and fun — like dessert and drinks had the best baby 🍊🍫🍸.
We went for the vegan/vegetarian tasting menu, and honestly it was one of the best plant-based experiences I’ve had in London. The menu featured a delicious mix of vibrant small plates and shareable dishes — think perfectly seasoned spiced olives and nuts, creamy hummus with house-made pita, delicate date & miso aubergine with tahini, and other playful Middle Eastern-inspired creations that didn’t feel like afterthought vegan options but like the stars of the show.
The whole meal felt thoughtful and flavourful — plenty of smoky spices, bright citrus notes, and really clever contrasts that kept every plate exciting. Service was smooth throughout, and the team gave great recommendations without ever being pushy.
Would definitely recommend Kapara for anyone who loves bold, sharing-style food and cocktails with character — whether you’re plant-based, meat-eater, or somewhere in between 😉 Can’t wait to go back and try more off the menu! 🍽️🥂
