Kapi Sator Central Samui

Recommended by the Michelin Guide 2024–2026. We tried it and really enjoyed it. Prices are a bit higher compared to local places, roughly about double, and there’s also a 10% service charge plus 7% VAT added to the bill. However, the service is excellent, so it feels deserved. The food tastes great, which is why I gave 5 stars. Personally, I still enjoy local street food more because it’s cheaper and also very tasty. But this restaurant is definitely worth trying at least once. ✌️

A local Southern Thai restaurant with a casual, authentic vibe. Although we didn’t try the Southern dishes this time, we ordered some Thai street food classics — crab fried rice and pad see ew — and both were very good. The flavors were well balanced and delicious, no extra seasoning needed. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is convenient. The location is also very easy to reach, close to Central Samui and Chaweng Beach. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try Southern Thai cuisine or classic Thai street food in the area.

The food was very delicious and authentic taste. If you are Thai please do not worried about the taste, they’ll made it the from your spiciness preference. The service was amazing and good taking care of your dinner.

From the very first step I took into the restaurant, I was genuinely impressed. Every dish was delicious, perfectly balanced in flavor, and clearly prepared with great care. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and each plate was beautifully presented — definitely worthy of a photo before eating. What truly made me feel that I would “absolutely come back again” was the excellent service. All the staff were friendly, professional, and attentive from the moment I ordered until the end of the meal. The food was served promptly, their recommendations were helpful, and they checked in just the right amount — not too much and not too little. Overall, the combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere makes this restaurant perfect for both special occasions and casual dining. That tom yum soup was seriously the best I've ever had – so much flavor! Most of what I ordered was super tasty. And the staff there are really genuine. Definitely recommend it.

From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed by the amazing staff — it was like stepping into a place that instantly felt familiar and comfortable. And the food… honestly, it was on another level. Every dish melted in our mouths, full of flavor, care, and that little something special you can’t quite describe. We loved it so much we ended up coming back three more times. We’re already planning our next visit, and we’ve been telling all our friends they have to try it too. The prices are incredibly fair, especially compared to other spots in Koh Samui, and the whole place has such a relaxed, cozy vibe with great music that just makes you want to stay longer. A huge thank you to Ju and the rest of the team for always making us feel so welcome. You turned each visit into a lovely memory. We can’t wait to come back! Cozier Than the Original!** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've dined at the original Kapi Sator before, but this Central Samui location feels even cozier and more inviting. What elevated my dinner was Khun Ju's personal touch—she made the whole experience truly pleasant with her warm, attentive service. I chose to sit inside since the outdoor tables are a bit too close to the road, and engine smoke might ruin the night. It was perfect—cleaner air and a relaxed vibe. All the staff are super attentive, and while the menu isn't overly varied, it offers just enough options to spend a quick 10 minutes picking the perfect dish for your mood. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend—I'll be back!

The crying tiger I ordered is simply disgusting! The beef is too salty! The service is extremely bad! He also said that we don't understand Thai flavor! Is this the quality and service attitude that Michelin should have? And we didn’t finish the pork and Greek salad. Pork stew is too sweet. Overall I’m so disappointed about all dishes which I came because of the Michelin restaurant. For the environment, our table was beside the drive way which the car exhaust was polluted our dishes and impacted on health. In general, so so disappointed with this Michelin restaurant which was almost ruined our last night of 2025.
