On the evening of 20th September, I encountered a rather impolite staff on the 2nd lvl. As I was considering 2 tshirts to purchase, I approached the fitting room to ensure the sizes fit. However I was immediately stopped by this male staff whom remarked dismissively across the the store to me quote “what are you trying to do” “you cannot do that” Pardon my ignorance as this is my first experience at a Kapital store, nowhere or no one had informed me that I wasn’t allowed to try on the white/translucent tops. But I found the staff’s overall unprofessional attitude and demeanour extremely rude; leaving me with such an awful experience that I’d rather just not purchase anything here. It’s a shame cause the other kapital stores around the area had pretty warm, forthcoming and friendly /helpful staffs but this particular staff really stained the overall experience.

The staff were clearly unaware that even though im a foreigner i speak enough Japanese to understand them insulting me right in front of me. Once I heard it I immediately walked out of the store and will not support this brand. I am embarrassed the staff had the audacity to do that, and after the experience I checked reviews and discovered im not the only one.

I had the pleasure of working with Luc at Kapital Ebisu, and I can’t recommend him enough. I came in looking for several specific pieces, and he helped me find exactly what I needed — including the Kapital 5G Ribbed Knit Half-Zip Vest, the Linen-Rayon Fringe Stole “Habananaja,” the Easy Pants, Easy Shorts, and the Jersey Snake Pattern High-Neck Ron T. While the Kapital 13 oz Denim Santo Domingo Thunderbird Blouson and the Knit × Chambray Polo Shirt weren’t in stock, Luc didn’t miss a beat. He immediately suggested alternative pieces that not only matched my style but turned out to be even better than what I originally had in mind. His ability to think on the fly, make real-time and realistic recommendations, and share his deep product knowledge made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. This wasn’t just a shopping trip — it was a genuinely pleasant and memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be asking for Luc by name.

On my recent visit to Tokyo, I made it a point to book a hotel stay near the three Kapital shops in Ebisuminami. Being a fan of Kapital for many years, it was a treat to be able to visit their shop. I was not disappointed. There is a genius in their designs, as well as a profound sense of humor. There is a spirit of play that is missing in clothing nowadays; that feels as necessary as ever.

Very good experience at this store with the male clerk who helped me find a coat when it wasn’t on the shelves or racks. The design of the clothes was unique and the quality was excellent that I ended up getting a second coat which was initially not on the floor either. It was a welcoming experience and also I got compliments on the items a few times while wearing them out and about.

Amazing store for denim, clothing and accessories. Had great service at stores in Kyoto and Ebishu. They run out of stock quickly though

Big store with 2 floors. A wide range of items. Even rare stuff that features the famous bones design. Very happy I could get a T-shirt I was looking for. Staff is very friendly and assisted me with kindness. Great experience.
