Our visit to Karahi Boys was a mix of pleasant hospitality and disappointing flavors. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the reception by someone who appeared quite tired, which set a subdued tone from the start. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were seated right next to the door — not the most comfortable spot for an evening meal.
We ordered Potohari boneless Chicken Karahi, Biryani, and Garlic Naan, accompanied by Mango Mojito and Mint Mojito. A complimentary dessert, Shahi Tukra, was served before the food , and it was genuinely the highlight of the meal — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness.
Unfortunately, the main dishes did not live up to expectations. The Karahi was far too salty and practically inedible, while the Biryani was overwhelmingly spicy despite clear instructions for a mild version. The Garlic Naan came overdone and carried a burnt aftertaste and somehow it was sticky on the top. Both Mojitos were average at best — refreshing but lacking any real punch of flavor.
On the brighter side, the service staff were attentive, polite, and full of energy. Young, smiling faces frequently checked in to ensure we were satisfied. When I mentioned the excessive salt and spice levels, our server listened attentively and assured me that the feedback would be reported to the kitchen — a professional touch that deserves acknowledgment.
The total bill came to $84 including tip for two people, which felt steep given the inconsistency in food quality.
Overall Verdict:
✨ Excellent service and dessert, but the food execution and value didn’t match expectations.
