Karak Cha House

I adore, adore this place! I came with my Pakistani friend who highly recommended this. She’s not wrong. The gol gappa were refreshing to say the least. The falooda was so sweet and tasty as a drink, almost like an ice cream! There are many games customers can play while enjoying friends’ company here. Right next door, the same owner also owns Kabobeesh which serves amazing kebabs. I’d come back here again and again!

Tried the Falooda and Karak Chai. The Falooda was a bit too sweet for me. I asked about the gulab jamun and if they were made in-house, and they didn't know - which I think means they aren't (but who knows). I asked for karak chai and was told that it would take around 10-15 minutes. The chai was pretty good, quite strong though. It came with a little cookie/biscuit, which was alright. It was a clean spot though, and that was nice. I'd probably only order the chai if I happen to be in the area again.

This place is awesome! Beautiful decor, fun atmosphere, and fresh food. The staff were welcoming and attentive too. I had wanted to stop by for several months -- I wish I came sooner!

If you want to waste your precious dollars do not go there The restaurant had a pungent smell of bathroom Could not figure out what it was ?? The doodh Patti was the worst chai I had in a desi restaurant it was too bitter and over cooked I had to ask for extra milk the cooked were stale too. Other customers also complained about it. When we complained the manager showed concern meanwhile the owner was least bothered and did not even do something about it Would not recommend it It was too noisy with loud music and people had to talk in high tones to understand each other

We actually went to kababeesh and saw this place, so we went to check it out. It's all halal menu which is awesome. Very nicely decorated. Not very spacious and can be crowded. They have dice games. Small menu, basically for appetizer kind of food. We ordered a pappu burger and mirchi fries. The fries were fire, really spicy so beaware. The burger pattie was too soft for my likings, can't tell if that's how they make it or it was undercooked. Taste was average. Overall vibe was good. I'll probably be back if I'm in that area.

We went there for Kashmiri chai, my DIL said it was good, I had masala chai, also good. But the food was even better. So fresh! Atmosphere is super casual. Great place for friends and I loved the paintings done by the Painting Group that meets there.

My experience here was amazing!! From food to service to the colorful vibes, everything was well put together. The bun kabob and samosa chaat was very delicious. Even the mint mojito was fire! Great for those looking for a nice Friday/Saturday night hangout in the city with friends. Pakistani tradition was well preserved with the decor. Customer service was very good. Would highly recommend and will definitely keep coming back.

Yesterday, I visited this establishment solely for its street food offerings. However, I must express my utmost dissatisfaction with my experience. The establishment was unhygienic and unsanitary. The food was excessively greasy and had an unpleasant taste. The quality of the food was subpar, and the price was exorbitant for the poor quality of service.
