I did not have any food here. The staff was courteous. We enjoyed our drinks. Once we got the hang of using the equipment everything was fine. The only downside is for us the rooms are very close . The party next door sounded as if we were in the same room. You can hear the other guest clearly from your room. The competing sounds were a bit much as some points. Other than that it was a nice time.

Edie Sinclair

Google
I came here recently with a group of friends and we had a blast. The room was simply decorated but had plenty of seating and a very large table. We didn't have trouble finding any song we wanted, especially with the YouTube search feature. The food and drinks seem to be fairly average, but we didn't try very much from the menu because we had eaten beforehand. The staff were extremely accommodating and booking the reservation over the phone a few days before was easy. We originally booked a two hour reservation, but since it was a slow night (4th of July) and we were having so much fun, we ended up staying for 3 hours.

Google
cute, vintage karaoke experience. i love that they provide 4 mics in the rooms! and the price is unbeatable for smaller groups.

You will love hanging out with your friends and singing, dancing and joking.

Tony was attentive and welcoming. He set my group up in a room right away and checked on us often to make sure we had refreshments. Multiple private rooms for various group sizes, good selection, fully functional equipment. Wheelchair accessible. Individual temperature controls for each room. Good times!👍🏾

Google
We had a pretty good time but that was because of who we brought. This rating is about the place itself which is not great. The sound system was hit or miss, sometimes being too quiet to hear while, at other times, you could hear the music from the next room. The microphones worked decently but were so grungy I didn't want to touch them. And the rooms absolutely require low lights to be acceptable, else they feel more like prison cells. The service was good and the food was acceptable. If you go, make sure you bring a good group and a lot of money - about $100/person for a few hours in a room (charged per person per hour) a couple of drinks and a snack.

Google
Very nice place. Reasonably priced, great sound system and functioning microphones. This is a great place for a party.

Jossie Sapunar

Google
The best place to go when you’re in town: the drinks are cold and the music is loud. The private rooms means a group can enjoy the karaoke in one space. A must-go.

Yelp
On my 2nd night visiting family and friends in Atlanta, my brother and I did karaoke here. Whenever I am in town we do this thing. Originally reserved for 2 hours, we had so much fun we doubled that time. We sang over several genre of music. Sang so hard my voice was burning the next few days. This place is popular we had to stand in line for a long time. The room were large and clean. Good customer service and plenty of food and drink options. This is one of my favorite things to do and was impressed with everything here. Now I need to find a karaoke place in Louisville or up grade my old karaoke machine.

Yelp
The karaoke room experience was nice and had a great time. However the food and drinks left quite a bit to be desired. Good thing the food and drinks left quite were not the reason to visit. Great place for a Birthday experience but eat and pregame before arriving.

Yelp
Discovered Karaoke Melody online. The spot is located on the second floor (be ready to climb stairs). The private rooms are huge and clean. Rate: $8/hr per person, minimum 3 people. 10 people or more $7 per person an hour. Food/Drinks: You have to order everything at the bar, which is pretty inconvenient; however, the prices are affordable and reasonable. Service was quick and you can quickly head back to your room. Parking: Free ample parking lot shared among adjacent businesses. Solid spot for your next karaoke outing!

Yelp
A great time was had by me and my man, my man, my man and a couple of other friends. It never disappoints!! It was my first time back since before the pandemic and up be back again.

Tony C.

Yelp
The rooms are OK. Basically little rooms with a TV and a couch. The service is not friendly and drinks are not any good. It's not BYOB anymore, which would be the only real positive.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Had to come in person to RSVP, couldn't reach them over the phone or website or even Instagram. However when I arrived , it was easy to make the reservation and book a room. I was shown the room and explained the prices and all policies. When I finally came everything went well. Room was ready! They let me setup and decorate it too. Drinks were good too. Definitely come for a karaoke night!

Yelp
They're only open on Fridays and Saturdays, Google has not updated the hours for this place. We found this out the hard way. Ever since Karaoke Melody 1 permanently closed, this has been my go-to karaoke spot. Endless English, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese songs. And the best part, they have NEW songs! Songs by artists that's not just the hits. It's more American than anything so if you're looking for traditional kpop to sing, this is not the place (Happy Karaoke and Sound of Music are still open and very popular). Their drinks are amazing and so is the food! 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
This place was really nice and easy to maneuver. When we walked in, I mentioned my name and reservation and the employee confirmed my group number. We were walked back to our room which wars so spacious and clean. The employee showed me how to use the karaoke system and then it was time to get everything started! A few of us had some drinks which were okay. I would definitely go back!

Yelp
Hosted a party at Karaoke Melody. We had a very good time. The equipment was very good and well setup. The selection of music was very good. It is not obvious but food and drink orders need to be taken at the bar. A table sign or menu in the room would be nice to have so grab one for your room. They did bring to food to our room. We had reserved a bigger room but all they had available at the time was a 30 person room. We had about maybe 22-24 people and we were not all able to sit. Also I had hoped we could have had people pay individually at the door but was informed on arrival that one credit card pays for everyone and we would have to keep track of the number of folks to determine the final tally. You pay per person per hour which is a lot to keep track of for a large party. That aside everyone had a great time. This was my first karaoke experience and I will say all and all it was a good one.

Yelp
This was so much fun! The owner and bartender were very friendly too and we accommodating. Plenty of space and they have YouTube for options if you can't find the song you want on the original system. Easy to use as well. Pretty good variety of Asian beers. Overwall a great experience and I think this will be me and my sibling's new hangout.

Yelp
This place was so much fun! If youre looking for a fun night out that's different than just the usual going out grabbing food, drinks, clubbing etc I 10/10 recommend this karaoke bar!! Gene was super nice and helpful and explained to us that its $7 per person for an hour. They have private big rooms and they use an app where you can look at the music and pick your songs ahead of time. One big pro to this particular karaoke place is they have very recent songs like Post Malone, Lizzo, etc. They also have drinks beer and cocktails ($7-9) and sometimes they have food as well! We had a great time!

Yelp
As long as you get a reservation and get there within 10 minutes of It, this place is great super nice and readily available to give you whatever you need drinks food etc, they will talk with you and laugh with you and all. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Average spot. Love the privacy. Waiters are great and very friendly. Prices are standard and affordable.

Yelp
This was my first visit at Karaoke Melody. I met up with a few individuals I met through Yelp for the first time and I must say I/WE had a BLAST!!! It's located in the Global Forum shopping plaza on the 2nd level. When you walk in the first entrance there's a short walkway and if I can remember correctly there is a second glass door which leads to inside of the facility. To your immediate left is the bar and waiting area. They have a full bar so feel free to order your favor cocktail of choice. However, they offer specialized mixed drinks and there's also a full food menu. I order a pineapple Malibu drink and side order of cheese sticks, BOTH were very TASTY! The cost per hour per person is $6.00. You will pay the karaoke charges once you and your party decide to end your session. I would recommend making a reservation because this place is highly popular and gets packed!! What I think is super cool is that you and your party get your own private room with a large table and seating area to accommodate your party which makes the experience intimate. Additionally, no one has to feel intimidated or shy by getting singing in front of a big crowd of strangers lol. They had every song you could possibly think of off all genre from the late 70's to current. You are given a iPad to put song selections on the queue. Some song options come with a video choice that's played in the background as your lyrics display or you can just have the lyrics display only. Our room had 1 tv monitor but I hear larger rooms have two monitors. Overall this place ROCKS and I gained a few news friends out of it!!! I will definitely be back SOONER THAN LATER!! :))

Yelp
I planned a UYE here and had a great time! The hostess was friendly and this location appears a little bigger than the original one. I love the fact that everything is controlled by an ipad. This makes the experience even better. They lacked a few classic tracks but that is to be expected. What shocked me was the wrong lyrics on the actual screen. It threw me off a few times. I guess it makes for a fun experience IDK I wasn't hungry but a few people ordered food. The food did look amazing! This room was reserved for 10+ people but they have rooms that are 2 times this size. Reservations are the best route here.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this! We were a big group of about 15 and everyone was accommodated. Tons of room. The drinks and food were delicious

Noelle R.

Yelp
Fun space good service nice rooms. You can have pizza delivered or they offer appetizers.

Yelp
Awesome spot with plenty of parking . Great song selection in a private and clean atmosphere. They had a full bar too that was nice.

Yelp
Place serves food and drinks! We only ordered drinks, relatively good pricing($7-$9 per cocktail, order 10 beers/shots, get 2 free deals) Service is nice! It's $7/hour for the room. We didn't have a wait on a Friday night. The rooms are not sound proof FYI but everyone had a blast! The music quality could improve (so occasional static) but there were a good variety of songs to choose from

Yelp
This place is a little far for those in the city, but definitely a decent karaoke bar to go to. They have a couple of drink specials and are heavy on the pours (to help with the mic courage!). Song selection is huge, with an app that lets you browse on your own phone. Connecting to the actual system with your personal device is buggy though. They have different sized rooms depending on party sizes.

Yelp
Great vibe! Definitely a place to go again with the family and friends! The food was not that good but when your drunk it don't matter lol

Picky V.

Yelp
Sound was bad. We had to get the drinks at the bar. One microphone stopped working halfway. Couches are dirty and uncomfortable. Nobody explained to us how to get the songs to play.

Madison S.

Yelp
Kareoke Melody was so much fun! I went for my birthday and was given a free drink. They accept all ages so my little cousin was able to come and enjoy the experience. The food was pretty good, we only ordered fries but they tasted great to us. The men that were helping us was so kind and the service at the bar was amazing. The vibes were perfect because we got our own room and it was big enough to house 25 guests without feeling smothered. They even had fancy lights to make it really seem like a party. The songs were pretty up to date but if your worried that they don't have your favorite song, they still have youtube on the devices so when no one wants to sing, you can still listen to non-instrumental music. The only thing that bothered me was that the music was louder than the microphones so it was a little hard hearing people sing; we asked if the music could be turned down or the microphones turned up but i guess you can't do one without the other doing the same. However, despite that fact, I am 100% coming back here!

Yelp
I am giving Karaoke Melody 2 five stars because our large group of 13 was given such exceptional service. We went without a reservation on a Saturday night at 10:30pm -- yeah, prime time for karaoke. All of the large rooms were taken, so we were given a smaller room that could seat maybe 6-8 people comfortably. We started off in this room because half of our group had not arrived yet. Only a few songs in, the manager came in and told us a bigger room has opened up and funneled us into there. How nice of her. The bigger room was perfect for our group. The cool thing at Karaoke Melody (1 and 2) is you can use iPads to look up songs and enter them into the queue. You do have to submit one ID and credit card as a form of deposit to use the iPad. They have songs from all sorts of countries including the typical ones: USA, China, Japan, Korea, and also countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. There are two microphones to each room and you can control the volume of the voice effects, vocals, and instrumental music separately with the use of three knobs on the receiver. In the small rooms, there is just one TV. In the bigger rooms, there are two. The manager showed us the biggest room and it's huge. It has a dance floor in the middle and a mirror ball mounted to the ceiling. The manager told us we could reserve this room easily any weeknight if we had at least 10 people. The cost to use any room is $6 per person per hour. You check in and check out with the front desk so they know how long you've been there and how much you should pay. At the time I went, Melody 2 did not have their liquor license yet, so they could not serve alcohol. However, you were free to BYOB, which we and many other groups we saw did. That reminds me, we saw a lolita meetup the same night. I do think the rooms at other karaoke places like Do Re Mi in Duluth are a bit more fun because the rooms there have more TV screens, flashing lights, free popcorn and cucumbers (haha), and tambourines, but the service at Karaoke Melody 2 trumps the sometimes rude staff at Do Re Mi by far. #Yelp365 - 67/365

Yelp
I came back here a few weeks ago for an impromptu visit with 2 of my friends around 11ishpm. We were able to get a room. It wasn't as big as the room I had been in before, but for 3 people, we could have all slept in there. Started off with GOBS of jello shots. And they kept coming. I forgot how awesome I could sing anything from Metallica to Dr Dre to Carly Rae J. This place brings the best out of me. I think I even scared out the other customers. One thing I would like to note, is the service was awesome here more so than last time, and they even remembered me. That was cool. So they hooked it up! So far, this has become my favorite in ATL.

Yelp
Hey, I give this karaoke joint 3 stars because of the wide variety of songs you can easily find via title, artist, or decade on an user friendly iPad. The visuals / videos could be way better (we felt like no matter what we sang, we were living in 1991), and the sound quality could improve, but the friendly staff were nice and welcoming. We'd go back again if we are ever in the area.

Yelp
Staff: Pretty friendly but not very customer-service oriented, like follow-up and taking orders from the room. You have to purchase the drinks at the bar and bring them back yourself. Drinks: House Soju and House Sake is horrible...tastes like it's mixed with other unusual ingredients. For instance, the Soju tasted like it was mixed with sugar water and Sake had a vinegar smell and tart taste. Stick to brand name beers and alcohol. Music: They had a decent music selection along with new releases but sometimes wrong lyrics and music (in the style of...) is off key and that really throws me off. Sound: To me high quality sound is important when karaoking. The sound was flat with low quality sound system and the mic receiver had no option to adjust for echo and other additional sound options. Sanitary: No disposable mic covers. Room: We had five people and they crammed us into this small room where the table in there can barely fit. There was no A/C so we were sweating and had to open the door. Price: They charge per head per hour...I always went to places that charge per hour only. Overall: I wouldn't come back here if it was my choice.

Yelp
I was a karaoke virgin when I first came to Karaoke Melody 2 and so far, it's been my one and only. So maybe I don't know any better but I like this place a lot despite some quirks. I've been here twice with two different sized groups. The rooms were appropriately sized for each group, complete with microphones, song catalogues, and an iPad with which to select songs. You can either search and select a song all on the iPad or enter a numerical code from the catalogue into the iPad. (How many times can I type "iPad" in one paragraph?) While the rooms aren't soundproof, I was very surprised how little noise we heard from the other rooms. Some bass and occasional singing but for the most part, easily ignore-able background noise. I was worried it would be like when I rented shitty apartments where the walls were so thin, I could hear my neighbor breathing. The main bummer here is having to leave the room to get drinks. Although, once you are at the bar, service is pretty quick and everything is decently priced. But man is it a buzzkill. The second thing is reservations. It's kind of confusing. I made a reservation for a group and it was no problem. The second time, we tried to make a reservation but they said they didn't take them. Another review said they don't take them after 9pm. Which would make sense given the second time was after 9pm. But still confusing. Anyway, overall, I'm happy with my experiences here and will happily come back.

Yelp
There are two locations that are literally down the street and within walking distance to each other. The locations are literally located in two shopping centers located next door. When you enter, you see a bar and also a hostess stand. They will ask for one ID and one credit card in order to sing. Since there was only three of us, we were in a smaller karaoke room with two mics and one 40 inch TV. They have a great and large selection of songs. You can select songs from the iPad that they give you when you get into your karaoke room. The songs are arranged by the most recent five months so you get the newest songs. They also have karaoke books that you can find more songs to add to your karaoke list. Even though the TV doesn't have background images or "music videos" like other karaoke places, we were completely fine with that. I would say the only few cons that would keep me from giving it a higher rating is that the drinks are on the weaker side and the decor needs to be updated as it looks worn out. They also have a list of "rules" on the back of each door of their karaoke rooms. One of the rules is that each person must order either a drink or food during their karaoke session. This was fine with us as the pricing is pretty good here regarding karaoke sessions and also drink prices were average. They also no longer have the $5 per person per hour option. It is pricier if you are in three of the largest karaoke rooms. The mics are also not covered with a layer of "tissue". Not sure how sanitary that is. Overall, my go-to karaoke joint now and I will continue going here as the pros (the song selection) outweighs the cons for me. My friends and I had a great time and for great prices at $6 per person per hour. We were there for a little under 2 hours, ordered two cocktails and one beer and the total of our bill+tip was $65 for a Friday night/early Saturday morning.

Yelp
This was place okay. The rooms were clean and had no issue with the audio/visual for karaoke. The kitchen was closed, but didn't know until arrival. So please call to see if the kitchen is open. Later on I find out you could bring food. Drinks at the bar were pretty good.

Yelp
There are a lot of inconvinences in this place. First, everybody has to order a drink. That is their rule. That's BS. They're already charging us $6.00 per person per hour, and we have to buy a drink on top of that. Also, you can't order drinks in the comfort of your own room. You have to walk over to the bar and order it. So, they force people to order drinks, and make them go to the bar to order it. What's the point of having the doorbell in the room then? Everything about this place is about inconveniencing the customers. Speaking of charging everyone $6.00/ hour, I think that's too expensive if you come with a big group. With a big group, not everyone gets to sing equally. So some people are basically paying $6.00/hour to watch other people sing. We planned to come at 8:00 PM with a big group. So we called ahead to make a reserveration. They said we didn't need to make a reservation if we're coming that early, assured us that there will be plenty of rooms available, and talked us out of the reservation. Well, we came in at 7:50 PM, and they only had one room left. If we would've gotten unlucky, we would've been screwed out of a room for the night. I think they should've just taken our reservation instead of making us rely on chance that a room might be open when we came in. I don't understand why they talked us out of getting a reservation. This place is same as Karaoke Melody 1 just down the street, except they seem Chinese instead of Japanese. The staff doesn't matter because they use the same software as Karaoke Melody 1. This means, you get a ton of American songs to choose from. That's a lot more songs than the cheaper, Korean places (which are decent themselves). They have an iPad to choose your songs. That iPad app is the most UNRESPONSIVE iPad app ever. I have to wait at least 3 sec for the taps to go through. Oh well. Despite the inconveniences, I admit this place is fun with the right group of people. So I have to give an extra star for that. The staff also act nice, even when they're demanding us to buy a drink, make us go to the bar to order, refusing to give us a reservation, or make us pay cash for anything less than $8. I hope Karaoke Melody 1 didn't devolve into this draconian establishment.

Yelp
This is my favorite karaoke spot in Atlanta. The staff is friendly, the prices are good, the song selections are good, and the technology is easy to use. They equip every group with an iPad and it's very easy to find songs. The rooms are decently sized and the systems are of good quality. They have a good selection of drinks as well. Overall, this is a fun place! PS: the yogurt Soju is great!

Yelp
"And I was just practicing the ancient Japanese art of karaoke." -- Baby Mama (2008) The best things about private room karaoke: 1) You actually get to sing more than once in a night 2) Odds are your friends won't butcher the classics 3) You don't have to grease the palms of some DJ in order to sing at all 4) Odds are you have friends who have good taste in music 5) Group sing-a-longs are encouraged 6) Comfy seating 7) Belt it out as much as you want - you know everyone watching you Having only been to KM1 before, I'm a bigger fan of KM2. Only 4 of us made the trip, which meant I got to sing every 4th song (pretty much). They put us in the first room off the bar, which was great for placing food and drink orders. We sat down and started picking songs immediately. You pay per hour, per person, and you have to order at least one item. And while that seems pricey, A 3.5 hour session with a little food cost about $25 - so that's cheap to me. You get a couple of song books (by artist, by song title) and an iPad to place your song selections. You can reorder your songs (mess with your friends and delete songs), and even find things not in the books - the books are printed and a little outdated. There are 2 mikes in the room, and some of us were singing loudly enough in our room, we didn't need them for our sing-a-longs. They have a decent beer selection, plenty of cocktails, but a limited food menu. But honestly, you're there to sing karaoke. So order some fries and cheese sticks or dumplings and grab a microphone. We laughed as much as we sang and luckily everything the group picked to sing we all knew and we belted out with each other. What a great place for a group to have some fun late at night. And even though they closed at 3am - they let us keep singing until about 315, when we finally walked out of the room and asked if they were closed. They shrugged it off and said they were closing up (they knew we would come out eventually). Great place, lots of fun, nice staff.

Yelp
My favorite place to bring my friends to! Ask them about the large party room if you have a big group. Very nice staff and tons of music all on an iPad!

Yelp
They didn't have any Korean songs...but the staff was very helpful and responsive. The food is too expensive for the lack of taste. But my friends who don't speak Korean enjoyed it and plan to return.

Yelp
Attended a birthday party last weekend at KM2. I had never been to a private room karaoke place, and I really cannot sing, but I had a fabulous time. We had one of the larger rooms that you reserve by the hour. The ipad technology was easy and convenient. It would have been nice if there were two iPads for such a large room. It was kind of a drag having to wait for someone to put it down. There was a great selection of songs. The books were outdated, but the Ipad had more current selections. The staff was friendly and helpful. I read reviews where people said the drinks weren't strong. I had no complaints. I started with a glass of wine, but the second glass tasted funny so I switched to a margarita. It was perfectly made. I only have two complaints: It's an expensive night out. It's VERY smoky. I had to shower and tie my hair up before I went to bed that night. However, it was fun. Everyone had a good time and I might even do it for my own birthday later this year

Yelp
The staff were all very friendly and had no problem reserving a room for 15 people on a Saturday night. They allow you to pay separately (by holding your ID or credit card), which a lot of karaoke places don't do. The price is $6 per person per hour and they require a credit card deposit to hold a reservation, but they only charge if you don't show. There is no longer a minimum drink purchase! Rooms were nice and big and everything was very clean. Biggest English song selection I've seen, and they also have Japanese, Spanish, Chinese and Thai songs. Cons: Drink menu seemed a bit limited (but most karaoke places are.) No Korean songbook, so if you want to get your K-pop on, you're better off going to Happy Karaoke. No covers on the microphones, which in hindsight seems a little unhygeinic. Overall I really love this place and I'll come back again.
google avatar

Victoria R.

Yelp
I had my birthday party at Karaoke Melody 2 and hosted NYE at Karaoke Melody 1. Both times I had the time of my life! Great song list but could be more (missing a few Toni Braxton and Whitney hits but it's ok) my friends love this place and it is now a must when they come in town. Both venues have pretty good drink prices and great customer service. If you haven't been then you're missing out!
google avatar

Melissa U.

Yelp
Overall, we really liked the song selection and the fact that it is private rooms. The song selection is done through an iPad on the table within the room. We had no problem with any delay or slowness in selecting. The drinks are mostly your basic liquors and beers. On the con side, the service was confusing and seemed overwhelmed, starting with when we arrived. We called earlier in the day to ask if they take reservations and we were told no. Later when we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation and said they were very busy since KM1 was sending people over so we'd likely have to wait. We were then pretty happy when they quickly found a room for us. Later, whenever we would come out to order a drink and try to talk to people at the bar they would not respond or ignore us, despite there not being anyone else at the bar besides us. They seemed very stressed. I'd recommend that they firm up on their reservation policy/walk-in, which also may help the staff be prepared for how many people to expect throughout the night.

I love this place. Private rooms for you and your friends and super nice staff. Tons of fun. Bring your friends.

Yelp
I really love this place. I never thought that I was a karaoke person. That's just because I never experienced private room karaoke. I'm very much a karaoke person when strangers don't have to experience my horrible singing abilities. I've been to both locations of Karaoke Melody and I have to say that this one is my favorite. It's nicer and newer than the other location. All of the rooms are private. Yes, you can sometimes hear the screeching from other rooms, but for the most part you are so into your own singing that you don't notice. The rooms range in size from small enough to seat about 5 or 6 people to large enough for almost 50. I've been in most of the rooms and they are all pretty good. You can ring a bell to order food or drinks. The food is not stellar, but you don't come here for the food. The mozzarella sticks and fries rock after you've had enough alcohol. Prices are usually about $6/person/hour. The best part is that splitting the bill is super easy. They will do it for you. You just check in with the host when you arrive - even if your party is already in a room. They'll keep track of how long you were there and you can pay individually. Beautiful.

Yelp
I really like this karaoke place for a number of reasons. First off, the private rooms. I love that there are quite a few private rooms of different sizes to accommodate different group sizes. The rooms are clean and there's plenty of comfy seating and low tables for your drinks. The sound quality is decent too. If you're not singing, you can definitely hear other singers from neighboring rooms, but honestly, if you're not singing, why are you here? The prices (per person) are very reasonable too. The folks up front are super nice about helping everyone in your group split up the per person costs, even if everyone is coming and going at different times. They do allow multiple credit card splits too. The music selection here is awesome too (lots of English but they have other languages too). Other than all that, there is a small bar up front, and you can order drinks and small snacks. You can also order from your room and someone will bring it to the room. Great service, nice folks, awesome way to spend a few hours with friends on a Fri/Sat night. Oh and you should totally call ahead to book a room, they fill up fast!

Yelp
Good times. They have a ton of songs to choose from and even list the top hits from the last 5 months or so. There's a button on the table that you can press to call in for service. This is excellent so you no longer have to get up and go to the bar to order drinks, and thus, you will not miss your turn at singing. Huzzah! Prices are fairly reasonable. Weekdays are $5 per hour per person, and weekends are $6 per hour per person, which, when you think about the fact that you don't have to wait for drunk strangers to sing their terrible songs in a normal bar, it's a pretty great deal. You only actually have to wait for your drunk friends to sing their terrible songs... and who wouldn't pay for that? Service is good and the seats are pretty comfy as well. Love karaoke melody!

Yelp
I had a ball. I went for my birthday with my wife and another couple. I loved the song selection. The equipment was a little old but it worked okay. Staff was cool and drinks were not too expensive.

Yelp
This is probably one of the best karaoke places in Atlanta. We went on a Saturday night with rsvp for a group of 10. One thing I particularly liked was that when you sign in, they write a number on your hand. If you order anything in the room and want to pay separately, they just take the number and charge it to that person. PRICE They charge $6 per person per hour. Not sure if it's cheaper during day or weekdays. ROOMS The rooms are big with large tables and benches to sit large parties. We called in advance and asked to bring in a birthday cake, some paper plates, forks, and tablecloth. They allowed us to do that although they normally don't allow food and drink from outside. WATER BOTTLES are $1 each. Dasani bottles. ALCOHOL is served at the bar outside by the front desk. They serve cocktails, shots, and possibly wines. I like the shots best, and they have a good kamikaze or simply go with Patron shots. If you order in the room, they will bring you another shot glass of salt/lime, which I thought was very nice. SONG CHOICE they have ipads for you to choose your music now, so you can search much easier than the crazy thick books of olden days. The music videos that accompany the songs are still ridiculous and old school, but that's kind of the fun of karaoke. We jammed out to old songs and new, and the microphones are pretty good. We rocked out to: - Bruno Mars Uptown Funk [dance party] - Beyonce - Celine Dion - Bon Jovi Livin' On a Prayer -Journey Don't stop believing - Roxette It Must have been Love - I Love Rock n Roll - Katy Perry Firework - Shakira Whenever Wherever - Frozen Let it Go [this is pretty amazing]

Yelp
Once in a while I feel the need to subject my friends to my singing. When I have that feeling I choose Karaoke Melody 2 as the venue. Melody 2 is located just OTP in a strip mall on Buford highway. Be warned Karaoke melody is also OTP on Buford highway, but it is closer to the perimeter than melody 2. Karaoke Melody 2 is probably the best karaoke place I've visited for many reasons: I don't think I've ever had to wait for a room, the staff is always friendly, a great song selection, and Ipads. Yes, that's right Ipads! The whole process of searching for a song and adding it to the song cue is done via an ipad! This makes the process easy and hassle free. Now the ipads and the app could use an update, nut no need to fix what's not broken. As far as food and drinks go, Melody 2 does have a bar and kitchen. Pro tip, if you hit the little button in the room one of the staff will come to take your order. The drinks are average with a good pour. As for the food, I'm not sure if I ever ordered any. Overall 5 stars for good service, clean rooms and Ipads!

Yelp
I am so glad my friends invited me to karaoke this winter. Absolutely, fantastically fun! When I studied abroad in Hong Kong, China, I became pretty familiar with karaoke places and the setup of renting a room, getting enough "liquid courage" to sink a battleship and singing all night long. So it was a little like old homecoming walking into Karaoke Melody 2 and a similar setup. True, we didn't stay all night - I'm not sure how people manage the stamina for that, but I still had an absolute blast. About 8 people were invited to come, but only 5 of us showed up at game time, and that was actually a really good number. For 3 hours we picked out embarrassing songs (this included Disney songs, showtunes, K-pop for my one Asian friend, and lots and lots of Top 40's from now and back in the day. Before getting our room those of us in need of refreshments started a tab at the bar (very friendly staff), then headed to our room. They put us in a comfy, plush-boothed room with an iPad, two huge books of songs (English and every Asian language I've never been able to speak but wish I could) and let us loose. So at first, everyone was kind of awkward and shy, and we couldn't think of a thing to sing, but finally the ice got broken, people started to relax and after a half hour we were all belting out songs. On key, off key - didn't matter. My friends and I were standing up to sing, bopping along and doing the dance moves for some songs, harmonizing (or attempting to) - and generally having a goofy, fun time. The rooms are very well sound proofed - so well done that I didn't even know there was a huge party of at least 10 guys next store singing head banging rock and roll and J-pop songs at the top of their lungs till I went out to get a water from the bar. The hours flew by in a flash and when we initially thought we'd only be there for two hours, we looked at the clock and it was already 12:30 AM. Oops. Ah well, that's what Saturdays are for, right? So we finally decided to split then, paid our bills (which they conveniently divided for us), and headed home to recover from the self-induced laryngitis. I'd say you get great bang for your buck at Karaoke Melodies and there's no better way to make a fool of yourself singing and not be ridiculed mercilessly than with your posse.

Yelp
Omg....when I say that this was one of the best birthdays ever! We had sooo much fun! The manager was nice and accommodating. The room was nice and the music was great! My guest raved about how much fun they had. I love that you have a private room. The sound system and song selections were awesome. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Went here for a birthday party with about 10 people and were brought to a nice room with two couches facing each other. The music selection system is 5 stars for sure. They give you an i pad and you can search and find most songs that you would want. Although they didn't have LL Cool J "Doin It" - which is my karaoke duet dream - every other song I wanted was available. We had an awesome time... I'm sure you already know that these are private rooms, which means you do not have to sing in front of strangers. They also have alcohol service which enhances the performances greatly. I docked them a star because their cocktails weren't the best.. but I suppose they did what they needed to do
