Got an incredible peach cheese cake from here - unique, very well made and great tasting - it wasn’t that sweet! On top of that, got a lovely loaf of seeded sunflower bread which we used with our ingredients elsewhere from borough market mortadella with truffles and burrata!

I visited the bakery at Seven Dials Market. All their bread on display looks very photogenic. Almost too perfect. I love love love brioche bread so naturally I wanted to buy something brioche to try. Decided to go for the chocolate & hazelnut brioche. I’m sad to say it looks better than it tasted. It was good but maybe it was left out in the cold open air for too long so it was going stale......would love to find out how it tastes fresh out of the oven 🤔

The best bread in London so far. I am a chef my self and I’ve been in many different event in the past 10 year , had many suppliers and also had so many bakery and pastry chef and do u know what? I had never tasted the same flavour and amazing texture like the bread that come from this amazing bakery, also very nice and polite stuff super friendly and amazing looking! Well done to Karaway bakery!!! Go and try the brioche buns too!!! Amazing!!! Prices are also very competitive! Best bakery in London

I bought a cinnamon roll but I was dissapointed with the product and the packaging. It was more like an industrial bakery product and not a home made one. The lady seller handed me a roll from behind the counter in a plastic sealed bag, so it was probably made a few days back. Surprised to see the list of preservatives on the label, exactly like an industrial product. Not a traditional bakery as you would expect

Tried their Napoleon today and couldn’t believe that I was eating it in London. The cake was perfect. I ordered Napoleon in several other places in London and neither of those cakes were even close to this one. There are various recipes for Napoleon and tastes differ here. Karaway’s version of the cake tasted exactly the way my family used to make it. The cake was filled with custard, but not butter cream, wasn’t too sweet and the crust layers were solid and slightly crispy, so that it was easier to use a fork to eat the cake instead of a spoon (I personally prefer this type of consistency of Napoleon and don’t like when the pastry is soft). All in all, it was such a delight. The only thing that seemed not authentic to me personally was the round shape of the cake (square Napoleons look more familiar to me) and the butter cream and chocolate decorations on the top (I didn’t eat them, because they changed the classic taste of the cake).

Visited last week and bought two cakes (blueberry vatrushka and Baltic doughnut) that were very good. However, I also bought four brioche rolls (two normal and two charcoal) that weren't good at all. A day after purchase and they're quite dry. I also question how they can call it brioche - certainly not the rich, buttery, slightly stretchy kind that I've had in the past.

I tried the Rye & Spelt Banana Muffin from Wholefoods, it was the best banana muffin I’ve ever had, and very reasonably priced for the quality. Hope to visit the actual bakery soon. Well done!
