The food here is truly outstanding — full of flavor, fresh, and prepared with great attention to quality. Every dish tastes delicious and leaves a lasting impression. The only thing I felt is that the portion size is a bit small for the price. We order Mutton Korma and Nihari

Visited for its legacy & popularity. Tried mutton kebab & biryani—tasty & flavorful. Despite the crowd, service was quick & attentive, with staff managing tables efficiently as well as post billing.

Food at Karim’s is really tasty and worth trying. Service can be a little slow at times, and seating is usually as per their allocation even if some tables look vacant. During my visit, the Coke I ordered tasted a bit diluted, but overall the food experience was good

I came from Hyderabad for visiting Delhi and hearing this is famous, taken biryani here recently, the worst tasteless chicken biryani tasted ever. 2 chicken necks came, 1 leg piece came, both rice and chkn are bland tasteless at expensive price too. Even the plastic spoons are cheapest broken easily. I had Chkn biryani at 2 more hotels in Delhi, 1 at Hotel New khalsa restaurant, Mayapuri area and other at Hotel Zaza mughal biryani, Mayapuri area which are very delicious. But this Karim hotel sucks 🤮🤢

Finally got to try Karim's at Jama Masjid, and it was everything I'd hoped for. The atmosphere, the history, and most importantly, the food, are all top-notch. I ordered the Mutton Korma, Mutton Jahangiri, and Mutton Kebab, and each dish was a knockout. The korma was a symphony of spices, the jahangiri was perfectly balanced, and the kebabs were so tender and flavorful. If you want a taste of authentic Mughlai cuisine that's been perfected over a century, this is the place. It's an iconic Delhi institution for a reason.

A no fuss old time favourite for kebabs! Butter chicken, naan, mutton sheekh kebab and sheermal were too good!

Awesome place for nonveg lovers. Authentic, economical and friendly. Entrance is still the iconic 'hole in the wall', but now with a signboard. Preparations look spicy and oily, but are amazingly flavourful and easy to digest. I am glad I revisited after a decade.

A Taste of History, But a Shadow of its Former Glory: Karim's Delhi Karim's, a name synonymous with authentic Mughlai cuisine in Delhi, holds a legendary status. Our recent visit offered a mixed experience, a blend of nostalgia and a slight sense of disappointment. We indulged in their famed Mutton Nalli Nihari, the Mutton Kheema, accompanied by Tandoori Roti and Rumali Roti, and also sampled their Chicken Biryani. The service was undeniably quick, a testament to their years of operation and efficient system. However, the food, while carrying the essence of Mughlai flavors, unfortunately did not quite live up to the lofty expectations built over time. The richness and depth that one often associates with Karim's seemed somewhat muted. While the dishes were palatable, they lacked the punch and distinctive taste that many long-time patrons remember and crave. Despite this, I would still recommend foodies to experience Karim's at least once. It remains an institution, offering a glimpse into the heart of authentic Mughlai cooking. The historical significance and the sheer legacy of the restaurant are compelling reasons to visit. It's a chance to taste flavors that have been passed down through generations, even if the current rendition might not be at its absolute peak. However, be prepared for a major headache when it comes to parking. Located in the most congested area of Old Delhi, navigating the narrow lanes and finding a parking spot is a significant challenge. It's advisable to either use public transport or be prepared for a considerable walk after parking some distance away. In conclusion, Karim's offers a taste of history and a chance to experience authentic Mughlai food. While the recent culinary experience didn't fully recapture the magic of the past, the restaurant's legacy and the unique flavors still warrant a visit. Just be forewarned about the parking situation – it's an integral part of the Old Delhi experience!
