Awesome place for nonveg lovers. Authentic, economical and friendly. Entrance is still the iconic 'hole in the wall', but now with a signboard. Preparations look spicy and oily, but are amazingly flavourful and easy to digest. I am glad I revisited after a decade.

A Taste of History, But a Shadow of its Former Glory: Karim's Delhi Karim's, a name synonymous with authentic Mughlai cuisine in Delhi, holds a legendary status. Our recent visit offered a mixed experience, a blend of nostalgia and a slight sense of disappointment. We indulged in their famed Mutton Nalli Nihari, the Mutton Kheema, accompanied by Tandoori Roti and Rumali Roti, and also sampled their Chicken Biryani. The service was undeniably quick, a testament to their years of operation and efficient system. However, the food, while carrying the essence of Mughlai flavors, unfortunately did not quite live up to the lofty expectations built over time. The richness and depth that one often associates with Karim's seemed somewhat muted. While the dishes were palatable, they lacked the punch and distinctive taste that many long-time patrons remember and crave. Despite this, I would still recommend foodies to experience Karim's at least once. It remains an institution, offering a glimpse into the heart of authentic Mughlai cooking. The historical significance and the sheer legacy of the restaurant are compelling reasons to visit. It's a chance to taste flavors that have been passed down through generations, even if the current rendition might not be at its absolute peak. However, be prepared for a major headache when it comes to parking. Located in the most congested area of Old Delhi, navigating the narrow lanes and finding a parking spot is a significant challenge. It's advisable to either use public transport or be prepared for a considerable walk after parking some distance away. In conclusion, Karim's offers a taste of history and a chance to experience authentic Mughlai food. While the recent culinary experience didn't fully recapture the magic of the past, the restaurant's legacy and the unique flavors still warrant a visit. Just be forewarned about the parking situation – it's an integral part of the Old Delhi experience!

Delhi visit is incomplete without tasting the food and this one is the most prominent stop in the national capital. One needs to brave the extreme chaos to reach the restaurant.Washroom experience is uneven.Idea of a quiet meal is a daydream.Getting a table is often a task. But the lip smacking food is enough to make your visit memorable. This is our heritage and despite of their expansion across the states one must visit this very outlet to get a taste of that.

A must-visit for non-veg lovers! The restaurant offers a wide variety of chicken and mutton dishes, each with unique flavors that are sure to impress. The prices are quite affordable. The ambiance gives off a charming, vintage vibe, adding to the overall experience, and the service is attentive and friendly. Conveniently located near Jama Masjid, it's easy to find and definitely worth a visit.

We are from Hyderabad state of nawabs we know the food of Mughals and nawabs. Food and service is very bad. We order sheek kabab and chicken jhangeeri. Kabab served in curry bowls and checken jhangeeri is worst in taste just onion gravey with boiled chicken. Onion salad is chopped like pieces, even dhaba onion slices will serve. Ordered two roti and two butter naan but same maida used for butter naan. sprinkle little drops of butter on naan. Roti aslo served in curry dish. False information printed in menu like Karim,s served authentic style of food with street vender price. Is totaly false information. Worst restaurant. This is not complaint but it is to rectify by the management. That justify your service to all those who are paying there hard money. Money is not earn easy like you

Finally I got a chance to visit the most famous restaurant of New Delhi - Karim’s. It’s a very small place inside a narrow lane near Jama Masjid. We got a table without any waiting. The place is very small and not clean enough. With the suggestion of the waiter, we ordered chicken burra, chicken curry, the famous butter chicken, tandoori roti, rumali roti and chicken biryani. I didn’t like any of the dishes. Chicken burra was ok but the other dishes were very bad. Chicken curry was drenched in oil. Their butter chicken was sweet like a dessert. I was very much disappointed with it. We had to try the chicken biryani just to compare it with Hyderabadi biryanis and it’s very bad. It’s very bland, no flavors and too much of oil. We were very much disappointed with the overall experience.

This place is brilliant. They were so helpful. We had the chicken burra which was amazing chicken cooked in the tandoor with spices, the mutton nahari (goat) and a spicy mutton dish all of which were brilliant with Raj roti which was thing floppy bread and then a tandoori roti which was more like a nan. It was all Amazing. Service was friendly. Thank you

Naam Bade Aur Darshan Chote 😢 Karim's is synonymous with Old Delhi's food scene but sadly it couldn't satiate my taste buds. The moment you enter into the alley you could feel the heritage associated with the place but sadly it couldn't live upto its name. The Biryani didn't have any flavours and the Kebabs felt oily.
