"Years of family baking tradition passed on to generations is why Karla Bakery maintains its popularity. Take a number and gaze at the selections available but make sure to pick the fan favorite pastelito de carne packed with a hearty serving of its marinated ground beef." - Stacy A. Moya

The bakery is well located, there’s a ton of parking. It’s also very clean and the staff is very friendly. However, the food and coffee was borderline terrible. The coffee was very watered down and the empanada was really hard. The filling was good just the bread part was terrible. If there’s nothing else open I’d come back, but with so many coffee shops around Miami I think there’s better options close by.

There was no food in the display and the customer service was terrible. With so many bakeries in Miami, just go elsewhere.

The worst pan con bistec I have ever had. The meat was so overcooked and so thin it was basically a cracker. Terrible customer service. For a big company like Karla Bakery to only have one employee working in the bakery is beyond ridiculous. There are way better bakeries in Miami I truly don’t understand how this place stays in business with how terrible their product is.

Very nice clean place but Slow service. Took about 15 minutes and there was only one person in front of me that had already ordered. Why change the shape of pastelitos? The pastelitos de carne were triangles… why?

Unfortunately all the bakery's I have tried in the last year all have missed the mark on a Cuban Staple Pastelito De carne, this place is no different I don't know what kind of picadillo they are using but it's BAD! Now the Empanadas have the Correct great tasting picadillo this Pastelito does not and its a triangle Nit Round and this purchase they were Burned and hard no excuse this needed to be Thrown out and not sold,Croquetas were pretty good chicken &ham 👍and the puddin de on was tasty, overall 3 stars total.

Take a good look at these pictures and the address. I don't know about other locations but at this location nothing is fresh everything is frozen. The staff was friendly enough and I don't blame them, shame on the owners with signs that boast "3 generations perfectingthe dough" I think that's how long the dough has been in the freezer. There is nothing Cuban about the taste. Our empanadas had just been made and when we bit into them there was still ice in the middle.

I would like to ask if you can make pastries without lard (pork), please. If we can find just one bakery, just one, please let it be karla! I had great coffee.

I agree with the reviewers. If they could please just make their pastries without the PORK lard. Some of us would greatly appreciate it!
