Delicious Indian food. Prices are very good. Large portions of food. The chicken Korma was perfect, spice was just right. Their drinks are good too, nice and strong. I like their chutney/sauce bar. Mango lassi is also delicious. They also give you complimentary dessert!! Go to Indian place for sure. Open late too.

My first time eating Indian food. My wife took me here solely because of the good reviews and the reviews didnt lie! The food was delicious, and the staff were so so friendly/helpful. The atmosphere was perfect, you can dress up or dress casual and you would feel comfy! Would give 6 stars if I could. 👌✨️

Incredibly kind, down to earth service and hands down the best Indian I've had in Washington. I ordered the special goat curry and regular naan. Everything was phenomenal, and they even provided a complimentary mango lassi which was divine. A must visit for washington Indian food!

The food is amazing! My mouth was watering as soon as I saw it. The butter chicken is the best I’ve had in such a long time. The bread 10/10 and I got the lamb Samosas and those are to die for. Can’t wait to come back and have more. They also have a rice pudding and it’s amazing. It’s the perfect amount of sweetness.

This was my favorite samosa, anywhere! Soft and flavorful. My Chana Masala was delicious with the rice. My boyfriend's Aloo Gobi had a creamy coconut flavor that he really enjoyed. Rajbeer was extremely attentive throughout our meal. They even have a fancy robot that can deliver the food! The building is being remodeled, but the music was really awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and every flavor. Thank you, Karma, for catering to vegans! We will be back!

This was my first time here. The staff was excellent and very nice, they gave great recommendations on food selections ( korma with chicken and cheese naan). The food was so tasty and a big serving. I got a glass of wine (Merlot) with my meal and it was good! And to top it off I got a complimentary lassi. Will definitely be back!

Spent my birthday here with my husband and my very picky 10 year-old—we had such an incredible time. The food was excellent, perfectly seasoned, large shareable portions, plenty left over for later. My daughter is notoriously picky, but she absolutely enjoyed the matar paneer and mangulosi. The best part of our experience however was the staff—everyone was so friendly, helpful and really took the time to make sure we were taken care of. A literal robot brought out my birthday dessert (that was a first) to our table and staff sang me a heartfelt happy birthday. I’m blown away—A perfect way to spend my birthday. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Came here with my husband. The food is INCREDIBLE. I ordered the Karahi Chicken curry (red one) and my husband ordered the butter chicken, both level 3 spice with the garlic naan, and samosas By far one of THE BEST INDIAN food we’ve ever been to. Not to mention the staff here are so so kind and very attentive. They also gave us a free rice pudding on the house! Very delicious! Will be coming back again. :)

Tried this place out on a Wednesday night for dinner and had mixed feelings about it. We ordered the butter chicken, saag paneer, karachi chicken, and garlic naan. The price for each curry dish was around $16, which is pretty typical for the puget sound area. The service was great and the food came out fairly quick. All three curry's tasted pretty mild and felt like they were lacking salt. My wife and I like curry with plenty of spices in it and big flavor, but these curry's felt like they were lacking a bit of flavor. The garlic naan was pretty good, but I felt like it was a bit too fluffy (kinda like pizza dough) instead of flat and chewy like they should be. At the end of the meal, the server gave us two pineapple lassi's on the house, which was a nice gesture and appreciated. Overall, the service and friendly servers were great, but the food itself was just okay. In my opinion, there are much better choices, but this place may be to your liking if you enjoy a more mild curry. Also, I like how the owner takes time to thank first responders and military personnel, and even has a special lunch buffet dedicated to them at the end of each month. As a first responder, I do appreciate that. Overall, Id give them a 3.5/5 star rating.

I wanted to try this place because I know how generous the owners are by donating food to local workers. I wanted to give them a go since of their amazing community support. The ambiance is nice; you feel like you have been transported somewhere different. Unfortunately, the service and food did not meet expectations. I got the tandori chicken and it wasn't as charred and flavorful as I had hoped. We also ordered the plain naan but it was too plain- no flavor, lacking in butter or salt. This was disappointing. We also ordered the garlic shrimp. Look, I lived in Hawaii so you have to come correct with garlic shrimp and they lacked in flavor and the presentation was unappealing. The one yummy portion of our meal was the mango lassi (yummmy) and the tamarind chutney. Both were so delicious and I wish these items could have made me forget about the rest. The other positive was the chicken cost $16 and came with a half chicken - much more than expected, which was a nice surprise. We also ordered the mango ice cream which they forgot about but once we did receive, it hit the spot. As we were finishing up, the waiter offered is a strawberry smoothie which is what he called it but it tasted like lassi too. It was good but my partner didn't enjoy it too much and left 3/4 there. They do have a complimentary special buffet for retired veterans on the last Tuesday of the month. What a nice gesture! Wish there was a buffet for all and I would be ok with paying so can try more foods! I may try again but don't need to any time soon.

I don't often find myself on South Hill but I was in the area and saw Karma. We had Lamb Vinaloo, Chicken Tikka Masala, and garlic naan. Food was delicious, service was friendly. I'd go back again.

The food was delicious and a new item to menu of tomato garlic soup is yummy. This was my first time eating there and I will absolutely be returning. Service is terrific and interesting with a cool robotic delivery to some of the tables.

I've gone to this restaurant several times and the food is always ON POINT. It's one of my favorite Indian restaurants. Our servers have always been super sweet and attentive but not overbearing. It's very casual and never too busy on the many times I've went. I really love the lamb vindaloo and paneers and haven't had anything I didn't like yet! I order a 3/5 spice level which has a good kick and I can see it being very spicy at 5/5. Love this restaurant and would recommend!

I recently ordered from Karma Indian Cuisine & Lounge for delivery and I'm so glad I did - I've heard rave reviews about them from other locals and can confirm it's delicious! Vindaloo sounded really good but ultimately, butter chicken ended up winning the fight. It's basic, I know, but I just couldn't resist. As mentioned, I ordered delivery. At first the portion size didn't look that generous, but looks are definitely deceiving because it was enough for two meals. And for some reason, they sent two big cartons of rice (I might've ordered an extra without realizing). The chicken was incredibly tender, the flavor was phenomeeennnalll, and the rice was cooked to fluffy perfection! I got the medium hot because I wasn't sure of their spice levels not having tried them before, and it was perfect. I probably could've handled a little spicier, but it was delicious overall. Glad to have found my go-to spot when the craving for delicious Indian food strikes - visiting them in person is next on my list because it looks like a cozy date night spot (and they have a full bar!)

I have gotten food to go several times, but this particular meal was the first time I had dined in. Service was amazing! First time in my life I've seen a robot server-interesting experience! Food is always a 10/10, I have never had a bad meal here. Garlic naan is always a must order! Very fun atmosphere. Enjoyed the playlist. Will eat here again

Literally my favorite indian restaurant ever. So many vegan options. The food here is delicious and I always tell people about this place when they ask for Indian food recommendations.

This was my first time trying indian food in seattle . I had high hopes as they had very good reviews but upon visiting this place it didn't live up to our expectations. We were seated right after we entered and everything was okay up to this point . But after we ordered our food, the service went down hill. First the drinks were just placed on our table rudely. Second, they sent someone else's food to our table . The guy who brought the food out didn't know english so he just laughed and went away . While trying to grab someone's attention to our table, the guy who seated us left . After a while , they said it was the food for other table and served them the same food that had been seating in our table , which was not OKAY. After a while our food came out , the aloo chat lacked spices. The fish vindalooo had awful taste , only the chicken tikka masala was decent . The shrimp biryani was not made with basmati rice and had raisins in it and the raita was bland . I don't even want to talk about the masala chai , store bought tea are better . Go there , save your money . We were hungry after our hike and decided to try this place but yeah horrible .

Waited 20 mins in an empty place for someone to atleast bring drinks we were super cool, not angry just chilling . A table came about 15 mins after us and sat down next to us. Immediate service. We were intentionally being ignored . And we were super cool. No reason for it at all bye. I'm just really bummed. I had just gotten a huge bonus and we wanted to go big. To celebrate the abundance . But it was just a waste of time in the end.

I came here AGAIN. It hasn't even been a week! Food, once again, was delicious!!! The family that owns this place is so nice and friendly. I just wish it wasn't an hour from my house. And the pineapple lasso was amazing!

Always an amazing experience here. Food is delicious, staff is always nice and attentive. We drive from an hour away to come here, and it's always worth it. They have some of my favorite Korma.

I've heard a lot of good things about Karma and after reading all the rave reviews, decided to stop by and give them a try. When we walked in, it was fairly busy which looked promising. We were greeted by staff and sat down at a booth by the cashier/greeter area. This was a little uncomfortable as all the employees would just stare as we were talking and eating. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala (level 3 spice), samosas and vegetable pakora with a side of riata. The samosas and pakora were ok, not all that flavorful like I've had elsewhere. When the main dish arrived, we were left very disappointed. The chicken was rubbery and there was absolutely no spice to it whatsoever and it lacked in flavor as well. I didn't realize that riata was an extra $5, as other Indian restaurants I went to usually don't charge for this so I was surprised to see it added onto the bill in the end. The food itself was nothing special and I wouldn't return. I've been to plenty of Indian restaurants and can tell quality/authenticity - this just wasn't it for me. I do tend to order the basic dish as a first time customer, because if they can't make a staple dish then I know their more intricate dishes won't be great either. I'm giving two stars for the service. The employees were attentive (maybe a little too much at times) and pushy in the sense they gave us a card to scan to leave them a 5 star google review.

We've been meaning to try out this place & are so glad we finally did! We got one familiar dish (butter chicken) & also tried something new (lamb korma). The lamb korma ended up being my absolute favorite - so delicious! Garlic naan was great as well. Customer service was fantastic. Our server gave us complimentary mango drinks that were so yummy! Interior could use a bit of a face lift, my booth seat was pretty distant from the table itself so was eating on the edge of my seat. Overall, great little hole in the wall with awesome staff & authentic cuisine. Can't want go be back!

This lil whole in a wall restaurant is amazing. The food is so flavorful and perfect portions. The staff are so friendly, they always give a free entree or mango lassi yum!

My mother loves the Mushroom Chicken Curry. We get that and the fish pakora on a regular basis. Service is quick.

Unexpected place to find delicious Indian food. My family wanted to go out before a concert at PLU, and we came here based on Yelp ratings. Not disappointed! I'd honestly never have gone here based on what it looks like from the street in a run-down strip mall. The decor inside is kind of shabby, especially if you're seated (as we were) in the tight hallway clearly converted to seat more guests. That was my main complaint--we were shoved into a booth at the back and practically bumping into the table behind us. And the waiting area was dusty with random chairs and not pleasant at all. They seem to be doing well enough that they could improve the experience by upgrading the waiting area, taking out some seating, and improving decor. But the food was phenomenal. Large portions, orders just right (my kids had specific requests about no onions and spice level). You easily can get 2 meals out of one order. We don't live here but would definitely go back again when we're in the area.

The food is good, we have ordered in the past, but I'm not sure when it got so expensive. I ordered over the phone and wasn't looking at a menu (my bad). I got butter chicken, chicken biryani and a cheese naan. My total was $45. Wow. I was quite surprised when I got to the restaurant to pay. Look at my photo-I paid $45 for that. I also thought my butter chicken was supposed to come with rice..? Maybe they forgot that? Or maybe that costs extra? Who knows. Unfortunately I don't know if I can afford to eat there again bummer, because it IS good. Every employee has always been really kind!

What an outstanding Indian restaurant. Yet another serendipitous roadside drive discovery. We were all hungry after a day of hiking and this restaurant was our last stop before calling it a day. They were an amazing surprise. Great food, kind service and a wonderful experience overall. Portion sizes were good, and they have this amazing chutney bar with salads, pickles , chutneys both sweet and spicy. Every food we ordered was tasty and generous in quantity. Favorites include - Jackfruit karma curry; pretty unique dish, not found usually in other Indian restaurants - Paneer pasanda: creamy and tasty - Garlic naans: large and baked well - mango lassi: delicious and chill - loved their carrot pickle and the marinated onions and the raita. Before we left, the waiter gave 3 complimentary lassis and a gulab jamun dessert on the house. Great place and will definitely return when in this area again

The BEST indian restaurant I have ever been to, I go back probably weekly. I am vegan, and they have so many options for me. My favorite meals are the lentil soup and the chana masala. Soooo good. And the service is even better. They are the sweetest most welcoming people. I would highly recommend.

I've eaten plenty of Indian food around the country. Some good, some bad. But this place, outside of Seattle is fabulous. Must do and don't hesitate!. Service was attentive. Flavors were spot on. Samosas, chicken Tikka masala. Garlic Naan, glub James with rice pudding made this meal. Plentiful, flavorful. Delightful. Seasoned just right.

Yo, yo , It's Angry Mario! Let me tell ya! This place from the outside definitely not ideal but don't have looks deter you. The food hits harder than my father on a Drunk Thanksgiving giving day in 2018. The tikka masala's with Lamb and garlic Nunn those two are friends. The spice and price are great for those large family! I 10 / 10 recommend this place to anybody! Bring that family

The service is incredible. The food is meh. I was pretty disappointment by the food as it didn't taste authentic to me. It felt like American-ized Indian food. The ambiance is very authentic so it's a huge bummer that the food was disappointing.

Probably the best restaurant in South Hill--very delicious. Our favorite dish was the chicken korma - so so good! Also enjoyed saag paneer, aloo gobi, samosas, loved the mango lassi and garlic naan! Service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxing with chill music and they had decent business going on. I only wished they offered lunch buffet so I could sample more dishes in a sitting.

The WORST service i've ever had at a restaurant. They forgot to turn in our order two different times, then brought out the wrong thing and then argued with me that I said it wrong. Then brought home a to go order for my husband that was supposed to be one Star but was Super Spicy making it inedible for him. Never apologized for any of the mess ups. I will say I have been here several times before and never had an experience like this before....hoping it was a fluke and not the new norm!

We just ordered takeout as a group at work & I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my order of Gajar/Carrot Halwa for dessert! It was a large order with many entrees & if they had run out of this item they could've just apologized but why did they still charge me $6.95 for this minuscule serving??

This was my first time going here and I LOVE IT! At first, judging from the outside, we thought we were at the wrong place. The outside of the restaurant isn't too pleasing. However when we went inside, the decorations and design of the place made it look more authentic and cultural. I ordered the karma special and my friend got the butter chicken. It is so flavorful and so delicious. I don't think I've tried curry that was better than what I ate here. The karma special has some bones in it so I had to be very careful when eating. However, that is not a big deal at all since it tells me that this was cooked with lots of flavor. Although I didn't order the butter chicken myself, I did try it, and I absolutely loved it. I completely get the hype at this place. Definitely one of the better Indian restaurants I've tried. Everything is so flavorful, and the staff were amazing. I would 100% recommend this place and would definitely go again.

Good food. Interesting atmosphere. Service is hit or miss. Walked in, no one said hi. About 5 guys standing around the front counter. Someone finally notices us, we get seated. Takes at least 5 minutes for someone to tell us they were bringing us water. We order drinks. I got an alcoholic beverage. We order food. App comes, no drink. Entrees come, still no drink. Never ended up getting it. I don't think the waiter checked on us once the whole time we were there besides taking our order. Waiter brings us the bill. The drink that I never got was on the bill.. we asked the kind woman at the front to take it off the bill. She did and apologized. The waiter then came over to the table with this page with food and stuff on it saying, "everything good, 5 starts".

I've have Indian before but it wasn't as good. Then my friend brought me here and I've been craving it since. Service was great and food was as good as I remembered. The Chutney bar was pretty tasty as well, I like my food spicy and more flavor, so that came in clutch!

I am vegan and they do have vegan options, but when I asked if the Saag Paneer could be made vegan they said, "Yes." But they sent me Saag Paneer with cheese balls in it. I also had ask twice to get wine to the table. When I pointed out that I requested Saag Paneer to be prepared vegan, the waiter said that I made a mistake when ordering even though the menu says, "Ask about vegan options." The Saag Paneer can be prepared with Tofu and should have been, but the waiter did not know what vegan is. I like their food, but their service is off.

We arrived at this restaurant after a long day at Mt. Rainier. The food was really good and the service didn't disappoint. We tried Plain Naan, Aloo Naan, Jack Fruit Curry, Aloo Gobi and Samosa. I have had Jack fruit curry in a lot of places and this is the best I have had. Most Notably, Samosa was freshly made and not one of those frozen ones. When we paid our check and were leaving, we were surprised by 4 pineapple lassi's (on the house) that tasted really good! I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely go again.

Unexpectedly super tasty. I wanted to hang out with an older sister figure from church, and she was willing to give up a Friday from work to have lunch with him. This spot happened to be relatively close to us, so we decided to head on in and try. We ordered: *samosas ($5.95 for two): filled to the brim with potato and peas. The shell was beautifully crispy. Loved how there were a ton of sauces to pair this with at their sauce bar! I decided to pair the samosas with mint chutney and pineapple chutney. Both were lovely. *tandoori chicken salad ($14.95): literally tandoori chicken on a bed of Romaine lettuce and lettuce. I'd say that this was a bit simplistic for the price. *lamb boti masala ($17.95): i got this at a level 2 spice. It was perfect, as I got just the slightest spice. The masala was flavorful, and it was super easy to finish with basmati rice. *mango lassi ($4.95): creamy, sweet, and refreshing, this hit the spot. The waiter was feeling generous, and gave us another portion on the house. I really wanna try Karma's other items- who wants to join next time?

Their delivery with Grubhub/Yelp is a mess. You don't know when your food's going to arrive, the app doesn't give you information that's accurate, you call them and they're like "yes, we have the order" and (literally) hang up on you. Otherwise great restaurant. I don't know why they took on the online delivery thing if they can't handle it- it's hurting their reputation as is. Edit: Sometimes it even switches to "pickup" randomly without you selecting that. And then you don't get dinner. But you DO get a smarmy customer service rep on the phone, while your food goes cold. Avoid this place like the plague.

Karma is such a great place to eat. The staff is so friendly and ready to suggest different dishes and toppings. It is a nice warm environment that really feels homey. I am always comfortable coming in no matter what time of day or night.

Great butter chicken and fluffy rice, some sort of fish fritters for an app and garlic naan, delicious! Service was good and prompt. Great lunch, we shared an entree but it was a big meal and a beer for $39 bucks!

Our second time was not so pleasant. Service was slow and the portions were reduced. We ordered Tikka Masala barely had any chicken in it. We will be trying other places.

I've been coming here for YEARS, since Aug 2012. We moved away, but still come in EVERY TIME we are in the area. Not sure it'll happen again though. We ordered the usual: plain naan, chicken curry and chicken makhani. Plus three Taj (small) beers, all to-go. Price was $65, of which the food was $35. I expect $10 beers at places like concerts or sporting events, but at a restaurant? For a standard long neck? The food was lackluster and that is what upset me and the reason for the 3 stars. (I can suck it up on the money side if the food and experience is worth it.) Food was spicy yet no flavor. It was a let down--for both entrees. I'm so sad! I literally have been looking forward to this meal for MONTHS. The naan was perfect though!!! Not sure what's going on inside, it appears they're expanding? Hopefully that means they're gonna redo the dining area, cuz it looks like it's been forgotten. The bar was disassembled, sort of. Back in 2012, there wasn't a bar. Then there was, with a bit of a nightlife in the evening (believe I played pool in back once), then the bar went to the wayside, and now, the physical bar is merely two stools. Very odd. Salsa 7 was another restaurant the owners operated in downtown Puyallup; but it's gone. Unsure how their other Indian restaurant in Silverdale is doing (Taste of India?). Just so sad to see this. I loved talking to the owners and wait staff; they used to know me when I walked in--even after years.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - Lamb Boti (marinated lamb kabob in masala sauce) was oddly sweet. It was good but got queasy halfway through Chicken Korma (cashew, golden raisin, yogurt sauce) was good but fairly typical of korma. There were definitely some raisins and cashews to add texture and flavor into each bite. The curry was seasoned very well and delicious overall. Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go. Went on a weekend night so lots of families, so definitely very family friendly. Their phone rings quite a bit with to go orders. No music playing but lots of silverware and conversations. Gold accents, very rustic and warm coloring Service: 5/5 - quick to acknowledge us and take our order when we were ready Value for price: 3/5 - more expensive than we were expecting for Indian food but generous with the serving sizes
